Here is how I feel about that Isaiah McKenzie. She is a bigger person than you sir.

You had better keep your nose clean Isaiah McKenzie.  Nothing in public media from you on ANYTHING.  Nothing.

No further issues from you.

This is not good for you Isaiah McKenzie.  You are not off the hook for this.

People will bring it up the very next gaffe you pull in public.

What did your parents say to you ?

How to get you off ?

Or, how to treat a lady ?

Indeed anyone.

She does not want to pursue criminal charges against Isaiah McKenzie.

If the state does not, which is up to the prosecutor attorney general’s office, then it’s over.

It’ll hang over his head, however.

And, could not possibly be worse BAD PRESS at the worst possible moment in Mark Richt’s career.

She did not say he did not say what he said.

She said she is not going to pursue criminal charges against him herself.

Doesn’t leave much a case.

It is still wrong.

And, wrong-headed.

It is a harbinger of more to come from this gentleman.

I said I thought she would bring charges because she called the police.

I mean, why call them, if you are not ?

Magnanimous of her, isn’t it ?

Thanks again, Isaiah.

I really appreciate all the distraction here Alabama week.

Really smart.

Moreover, you were not brought up right, if you said what is reported in the police report as we have all been told you said, sir.

Ladies are not to be treated in such a fashion, ever.

No matter how bad their service.

Did you expect that the service at Chili’s would be better than the cafeteria at Snelling Hall ?

Who among your friends will go out with you with such treatment of ladies in public ?

How many of their parents have told them to not go out with you further ?

Suspended from the last game last year.

Now, all this Alabama week.

And, then there are your fumbles and fumbles and fumbles and fumbles and dropped passes, and poor decisions on the football field like running backwards against a cupcake last week sir, 15 yards in reverse on a punt.

I would be remiss if I did not share that you have not endeared yourself to me.

Everyone has been so good, on and off the field.

It’s a crying shame all this gets dragged out in the press like this.

At this time, of all times Isaiah McKenzie.

I am disappointed in you.

The lady certainly comes out of this smelling like roses, that she is bigger than you.

Isn’t she Isaiah ?

The day AFTER he is informed about Isaiah McKenzie Mark Richt says to ESPN that it is “business as usual.”

Uh, yeah Mark Richt it certainly is sir.

“I thought it was very much business as usual yesterday,” Richt said. “I’m expecting it to be the same today”

Yes, sir.

And, the day after tomorrow and the 1 after that, sir.

http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/13771930/georgia-bulldogs-coach-mark-richt-downplays-team-being-favored-alabama-crimson-tide

Mark Richt still has not suspended Isaiah McKenzie again yet.

This is a big mistake.

And, will be followed hereafter by PROTESTS at the game Saturday outside the gate for Women’s Rights.

At such a delicate moment given all the press for all the recent years about the NFL too dragging their feet on this stuff, this is really stupid of Mark Richt.

And, his distraction is growing more and more with each passing hour.

Wednesday morning now, 2 days later.

I would have suspended him already – this is his 2nd offense – all this bad press and at such a critical time in the career of Mark Richt, as Mark Richt already had to suspend Isaiah McKenzie for the Bowl Game to end last season.

That meaningless 14th in a row bowl game of Mark Richt – this time up North in Charlotte with 1 other SEC team even playing their bowl game before us.

The Human Joystick, Isaiah McKenzie finds “Georgia football players Dominick Sanders Terry Godwin D’Andre Walker and Jarvis Wilson are listed as witnesses on the police report.” At practice today Tuesday 9-29-15 Alabama week. Thanks Isaiah McKenzie. Really appreciate all this. Isaiah McKenzie, who was suspended for the Belk Bowl to end last season, has had his fair share of issues already – both on and off the field.

Isaiah McKenzie, who was suspended for the Belk Bowl to end last season, has had his fair share of issues already – both on and off the field.

At the beginning of last season, he was a Starter for 3 games.  Since, he has not been.  His smallish hands have led to 3 fumbles last season and another two (2) already in limited action this season already too.

As well, there have been numerous bobbles and drops at wide receiver.

Seen on the sidelines with Mark Richt discussing this with him, he appears to be a Favorite of Mark Richt.

There are no charges filed as of me reporting this latest incident, now, here.

The waitress alleges at 10:28 p.m. last night Monday September 28 – Alabama week – that as the daughter of the Chief of the Department of Corrections for the City of Atlanta, there was an incident at her Chili’s Restaurant.

Both are students at The University of Georgia.

I have eaten there.

It is mostly food.

Listed at 5′ 8″ and 164 lbs. he is quite a good looking man.

Here we are Alabama week.  Monday night 10:28 p.m.  Honestly, I was not awake that late to be out eating, and would have eaten at Snelling Hall before that and returned to my dorm to study.  And, to sleep.  And, to wake up middle of the night and turn my light on above the head of my bed and study more.

My roommate who was on Scholarship ( I was a walk-on not on Scholarship. ) and he might have been out at that time.  He was a good kid.  Never in trouble.  Good person.  He also was not the most studious however, and crammed rather than study each afternoon and evening and early morning hours, and had the grades to show for that. So too do I.

There are 500 reports of this alleged incident.  This is Alabama week, damn it all.  Bad press.

There is a statement by police of what was said on Alps Road.  And, 4 more excellent football players listed in the police report, as witnesses.

Let’s see.  City of Atlanta Department of Corrections Chief’s daughter.  Waitress.  Chili’s. 10:28 p.m. Monday night Alabama week.

Do I think she will press charges ?

Yes, I do.

Why call the police if she isn’t going to ?

You had a bad week on the football field last week, Isaiah McKenzie.  You graded F for the game.  You bobbled easy catches, took one punt backwards like a jackal 15 yards against a cupcake, and short-armed another punt, losing that fumble.

So, rather than studying at 10:28 p.m. prime time for me studying at UGA sir, you are at Chili’s instead, and take with you 4 more of our heroes.

I can not explain it to you.

You should not have been there.

No reason to not be on the meal plan eating at Snelling.  None.

Chili’s.

American Heritage Plantation Florida high school.

Florida, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Oregon, vols, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and Wisconsin all gave you scholarships to their Universities.

Here you are.

At this time.

With this week Alabama week.

I swear to God.

Notre Dame did not offer you a scholarship ?  All the rest certainly did.

Athens-Clarke County Police

“Georgia football players Dominick Sanders, Terry Godwin, D’Andre Walker and Jarvis Wilson are listed as witnesses on the police report.”

Do you have ANY idea the emphasis on protecting our women ?

Any ?

In football ?

Do you ?

Well, I think you’re fixing to find out just exactly that.

Mark Richt is going to have to suspend you.

Again.

You are a distraction.

Again.

Get your act together.

4.56 in the 40-yard dash you are reported as.  I would have thought you were faster ?

http://espn.go.com/college-sports/football/recruiting/player/_/id/170222/isaiah-McKenzie

You are certainly one of our key players.

I am disappointed.

Can I say that ?

This reminds me of the last time we were going to play Alabama here.  We got named # 1 in the nation pre-season by the AP Poll.  We got named # 1 in the nation in the Coaches’ Poll.  Unanimous # 1 in the nation.  First time in school history.  20 of our guys go out on the town in Athens Georgia.  Nothing but bad press for Mark Richt that night too.  Dropped from # 1 to # 3, then Alabama showed up, they # 8.  They take a nothing to 31 lead in the 1st half at the half.

That the coach has not already suspended you for the BAD PRESS – the damn distraction – is part and partial for him.

I tell you this.  If you said that to my daughter, you would be in jail right now, son.

City of Atlanta Department of Corrections Chief’s daughter.

Your decision-making Isaiah McKenzie is poor, sir.

Jazz hands Rule 9 Section 2 with comments by Vince Dooley who created the rule. “Every time he scores he does that, and we thought it’d be funny if we did it when he scored,” Pyke said. “We all talked about it before, if he scored, we’d do it with him.” “If you don’t have that, there’s no limit on what you can do,” Dooley said. “At one time, there was no limit and everybody wanted to outdo everybody else in putting on a show. Some people are natural entertainers. They like to call attention to themselves. They like to get on television. Where’s the line? How do you stop it if there’s no limit to it? So I think the rule is good.”

2013 official comment published by Rogers Redding: “However, this should not deter us from continuing to be diligent in calling these fouls when players and coaches choose to cross the line with unsportsmanlike behavior that goes beyond immediate, spontaneous enthusiasm.”

“He doesn’t know why he does it,” offensive lineman Greg Pyke said.

“But after each score, Michel drops the football, brings his bent arms up to his shoulders and shakes the palms of his hands as if he was on the stage of a Broadway musical.

So this past Saturday, the offensive line, which has supported the Georgia running backs for four straight games, came through in a different role, as Michel’s personal back up dancers.

After Michel’s first touchdown, John Theus, the 6-foot-6-inch, 330 pound offensive tackle, joined by the other linemen, followed their running back with the jazz hands. Even tight end Jay Rome threw in some moves after Michel’s second touchdown.”

“Every time he scores he does that, and we thought it’d be funny if we did it when he scored,” Pyke said. “We all talked about it before, if he scored, we’d do it with him.”

“Dooley, interestingly enough, was on the NCAA rules committee that came up with the anti-celebration rule about two decades ago. He still thinks it is desperately needed, especially at a time when just about everyone is craving their 15 minutes of fame on YouTube and social media.”

”  ‘If you don’t have that, there’s no limit on what you can do,’ Dooley said. ‘ At one time, there was no limit and everybody wanted to outdo everybody else in putting on a show. Some people are natural entertainers. They like to call attention to themselves. They like to get on television. Where’s the line? How do you stop it if there’s no limit to it? So I think the rule is good.’   ”

‘ I don’t think we’ve gotta create motivation. I think we’ve gotta temper it’ “head coach Mark Richt said on his radio show Monday night ” ‘He’s had a lot of big ones’ “Vince Dooley said of Mark Richt.” ‘This is among the biggest.’ Asleep on sidelines against better teams than us for the season after 2007, winners of 3 of the latest 24 such (all 3 when he unranked that season, even with that win), Mark Richt says HIS JOB is to DE-MOTIVATE his players, not motivate them. Jesus Christ, Mark Richt – you dumbass.

Mark Richt does not want to be held to these standards !  He wants you to want him to win 10 games in 15-game seasons for the top teams and make it to The SEC Championship Game – that everything else will happen if you will only hold him to that standard.

Here are all the games Mark Richt has played against teams who ended up higher ranked than him for the season, after 2007 :

* Note : Mark Richt won these 3 games against teams higher ranked than him for the season, after 2007, but he himself was an unranked team all of these seasons, despite the win.  He lost every other game after 2007 against teams who in fact were better than us for the season after 2007.

http://www.cfbtrivia.com/cfbt_detail.php?fry=2008&thy=2014&teamname=Georgia&yrk=on&allop=1&cres=1

Mark Richt does not coach well, and constantly says dumbass shit.  This makes it all the obvious that he just does not get it.  He has the better talent against Alabama, and has had the better talent in all these games he loses.  Why is that ?  Because he is a great coach ?  Is that why he loses on the average more than 4 games a season for now this 8th season in a row ?  Is that why he cannot beat the better teams ?  Sure, he loses inexplicable games EVERY SEASON, but he also loses to the better teams too.  Doesn’t he ?  After 2007, there is absolutely no question he is an utter failure at winning against the better teams.  Isn’t he ?  It is this double whammy of losing inexplicable losses teamed-up with losing to the better teams too, that has cemented Mark Richt in everyone’s mind as an UNDER-ACHIEVER despite all his talent here.

Not once, at the end of any season, has Mark Richt EVER had us on the National Stage in a Big Bowl Game, let alone won even once.

Alabama has been exactly the opposite.

You want to know what Nick Saban is telling his players this morning ?  That Mark Richt is demotivating us.  That Nick Saban wants them to be exhorted to achieve their goals they told Nick Saban they have for this season.  That he wants maximum effort on the opening snap and every snap thereafter.  That they are to GATA – to get after their asses !  Nick Saban is DIRECTING his players to be just as highly motivated to beat Georgia as he can possibly form into words, and for them to internalize this that their goal is not to be complacent or feel like they can lose and still make it to The SEC Championship Game, that instead by direct stark contrast, that they are to go out there full-tilt at the top of their abilities and realize that this game means EVERYTHING TO THEM.

This game means everything to Mark Richt, too.

But, he refuses to admit that, thinking he can lose and still make it to The SEC Championship Game.  That has become his mantra instead.  You know ?  The game he has not won 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007, and 2006 – get to that game.  Not win it.  Get to it.  That is Mark Richt’s goal to keep his over $ 4 million dollar salary.  There’s something besides winning that’s important here.

Temper Motivation ?

Good Lord, Mark Richt.

‘ I don’t think we’ve gotta create motivation. I think we’ve gotta temper it’  “head coach Mark Richt said on his radio show Monday night ”

Damn it Mark Richt, try saying something that makes sense for once !

You have to temper motivation, not motivate ?

Jesus Christ !

Maybe this explains why Mark Richt seems asleep on the sidelines in the big games, loser of every game against a team higher ranked than him for the season after 2007, except for 3 games of the latest 24 games against better teams for the season – all 3 of which Mark Richt went totally unranked those seasons despite having beat a team who in fact was better than us that season after 2007 ?

That he actually thinks it is his job to UN-motivate his players ?

Good Heavens !

Good Lord !

What a dumb shit.

Every other coach out there, thinks he should MOTIVATE his players to play at a high level against the better teams.  Mark Richt, who has certainly NOT beat the teams better than him after 2007, says TODAY that he has to temper motivation against them, to demotivate – NOT motivate.  I have heard Mark Richt say some really stupid shit after 2007, but this one takes the cake on game week Alabama Tuesday morning.  4 days before kick-off and Mark Richt sends this message to his players, do not be motivated to win, but instead be demotivated.  Got it ?  It is his job to demotivate you.  I have a 3.88 at UGA BBA Mark Richt, sir.  I can assure you sir that NOWHERE was I taught that in management of your guys, that you are to demotivate them sir.  This is a foreign concept to us at UGA sir.  In fact, it is NOT a management principle ever taught at my alma mater.  You, sir, a dumbass of the highest order.

I am thinking of Erk Russell.

He just turned over in his damn grave.

Alabama fans are betting heavily on Alabama winning.

Las Vegas odds are based on getting the most bets from all parties.  The betting has been fast and heavy on Alabama winning, presumably by Alabama fans.

Who can really blame them ?

We have not played anyone.

They have played # 3 Ole Miss and # 17 Wisconsin.

They know they have a defense and can run the ball.

I will say that their fans do have issues with Lane Kiffin as their OC.  This has become worse, rather than better.

They have shuffled quarterbacks, but most of them believe the issue to be instead Lame Kitten.  Despite everyone saying he was the best head coach for the vols, the facts are that he was horrible.  Butch Jones might not be any better and Vince’s son Derek certainly was no better either.  But, Lame Kitten has baggage neither of the other 2 have – so, I think he therefore was the worst of the 3.

Both teams have issues, but Alabama – not Mark Richt who is losing 20 seniors after this season – actually loses MORE after this season than we do.

Remember again, that Las Vegas does not set the odds based on who they think will win, but on the line that they think they will maximize the betting on the game.

This line has been a pick um until now game week by everyone in Las Vegas.

This is no longer the case, with the combination of Dawgs’ fans NOT BETTING on us winning, along with Alabama fans betting they do win.

-2 1/2 points UGA now

It is generally agreed we have the better QB

The game is in Athens

Both teams run the ball

Alabama has the better defense

Alabama has the better special teams

Alabama has coaching intangibles

Alabama is more proven

We have not played anyone

We do not do well on 3rd Down Conversions

Only this season has Mark Richt dealt with a full roster of 85 scholarship players

Alabama has had a full roster for 7 years in a row now.  They are old hands at how to get these guys in games, and keeping the roster at 85 on scholarship.

Honestly, I think we have more talent.

We are particularly poor at game prep, in-game adjustments, clock management, roster management, and football in-game decisions.

We have never ever played in a single big bowl game at the end of any season, on the national stage everyone watching us since Vince Dooley and Wally Butts frequently put us there.

Even Vince Dooley was quoted yesterday as saying that.

He went to Auburn.

He played Quarterback at Auburn.

Vince Dooley knows that losing hurts badly, more than winning feels good.

Mark Richt really does not give a shit either way.  He really does not.

I firmly believe the game plan for Nick Saban is clear.  He will tell Lame Kitten to have his quarterbacks hand the ball off to his running backs, all of whom this fan base here at UGA, drooled over having here as our running backs.

Our fans are of the persuasion that the best way to support our program is to hype – to use Mark Richt’s word today – our players as the best.

I believe completely the opposite.

I believe when they are hyped, that they PLAY WORSE.

Our season is over if Mark Richt loses this game.

Mark Richt does not feel that way.  He feels he can lose to Alabama and let them become # 4 and us drop to # 13 and we can still get back to The SEC Championship Game and you will still support his $ 4 million dollars plus a season.

I, on the other hand, believe that Mark Richt has in fact lost to 22 of the last 25 teams who ended the season higher ranked than he after 2007, if Alabama wins again.

Our issue is not just only the inexplicable losses every year therefore.

Note again that EVERY approved blog of theDawgbone.com has guaranteed an UGA win Saturday.

That is what they are supposed to do, you see ?

Everyone should feed Mark Richt about 4 beers Friday night, 3 at least, and then at 2:45 pm Saturday night feed him a 5-hour energy drink.

I realize that Alabama fans are not really Alabama fans.  They are just there, everywhere.  Some fans like rooting for a winner.  That is what they do.

Others are fans of the program.

Some are fans of the coach.

We have those, too, you know ?

Some are fans of a player.

I know this : Mark Richt does not win this type of football game.  The ones he did, were long ago and even then he lost other games those same seasons, so many that – that win was meaningless in the whole scheme of the season and getting on the National Stage at the end of the season in the Big Bowl Game against the top teams.  He has never been there, let alone won there.

That has to be MINUS THREE POINTS – 3 for Nick Saban compared to Mark Richt.

If Mark Richt came out and said that we are the little brother, that Alabama is there every year, that they always make it to the Big Bowl Game at the seasons’ ends and win those games, and that this is one of those games here now, and that we have our work cut out for us to win this game, I would feel far better about us being coached well enough to win this game.

He has not.

I will be there.  We have our work cut out for us to overcome the utter stupidity of that which we will pull.

They all will be coach’s decisions.

Our fan base will not admit the gravity of this game on Mark Richt’s career.  2021 is a long way off.

I, for one, am ready to return to the National Stage at the end of any one season, and play in a single big bowl game – let alone win one such as Vince and Wally repeatedly did.  I know : I was here.

Mark Richt has provided a completely different feeling.

Mark Richt is a fine man.

So, too, was Vince Dooley.

Erk Russell.

Let’s make Thomas Brown the head coach.

Or Jeremy Pruitt.

Mark Richt ?

He’s going to win this game when he has lost 21 of the latest 24 such who ended the season higher ranked than us ?

I am not betting on that, either.

Mark Richt was noticeably moved when Devon Gales was trying to block Marshall Morgan, leading with the crown of Devon Gales’ helmet high into the chest of Marshall Morgan on a kick-off Saturday afternoon. Ron Courson, Director of Sports Medicine of the University of Georgia Athletic Association, has been by Devon Gales’ side from the field and has spearheaded this entire operation for Devon Gales to stabilize his broken neck. Mark Richt visited Devon Gales at Athens Regional and is asking all UGA to help Devon Gales.

Mark Richt was noticeably moved, as Devon Gales remained on the turf – not moving his legs for the crowd to see; but he did move his arms for us.

Our medical staff have taken the lead from the very moment, teaming up with Mark Richt on the field of play and every moment since.

Mark Richt has called on all Georgia Bulldogs’ fans to get involved.  He believes we are needed.

We flew his entire family to Athens Regional Medical Center immediately.

They arrived and were rushed by us to him.  He underwent surgery just after the game for a broken neck.  He has been stabilized.

We drove the entire family to the hospital to be by him, where they decided to have the surgery right then.

Mark Richt was there with the family.

He is such a fine man.

“Ron Courson has been at the forefront in reforms in areas such as heat exertion, concussions and emergency preparedness.”

Ron Courson graduated with honors at the Medical College of Georgia and has served on our great Athletic Department Medical Staff at UGA since 1995.

Georgia has the finest medical staff in the nation, and has been recognized for this fact since his arrival.

“Ron Courson has served as Director of Sports Medicine with the University of Georgia Athletic Association since 1995.  We hired Ron Courson to take care of these young men and women nationwide and he also was on the U.S. Olympic Team at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul, South Korea; 1990 Goodwill Games; 1987 World University Games, 1987 Pan American Games and the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, Spain. He served as the chief athletic trainer for the 1996 U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials as well as the chief athletic trainer for track and field for the Atlanta Committee for the 1996 Olympic Games (ACOG).    President of the SEC Sports Medicine Committee, chairman of the College and University Athletic Trainers’ Committee of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and as a member of the NCAA Competitive Safeguards and Medical Aspects of Sports committee. He is a past medical liaison to the American Football Coaches Association and serves currently on the NFL Health and Safety Committee and the USA Football Medical Advisory Board.”

Vince Dooley hired him from Alabama, where he did the same there.

“We’re trying to cover him up with as much love as we can, and let him know that we care, let him know that we’re here to help,” Richt said. “We’re just gonna continue to pray, and I know the Bulldog nation is behind him as well. There may come a time where there may be some needs. Not exactly sure yet. But it does come to that I’m going to be calling all Dawgs to get involved and to help out.”

Ron Courson, Director of Sports Medicine of the University of Georgia Athletic Association, has been by Devon Gales’ side from the field and has spearheaded this entire operation for Devon Gales.

“We have a family night tonight. They’re making a lot of posters, get-well cards, and they may pop in and out of the hospital,” Richt said.

All the best to Devon Gales.  You could not possibly be in better, or more loving hands, sir.

Ron Courson first to get to Devon Gales on the field.  You see him in the picture here showering his considerable expertise at just this to assist Devon Gales.  Ron Courson has written procedures for everyone in such a situation and implemented them himself here for Devon Gales.  For days, Ron Courson never left Devon Gales side.

We have played now # 199 Southern # 117 Louisiana Monroe # 74 Vandie and # 50 South Carolina, while Alabama has played # 3 Ole Miss and # 19 Wisconsin leaving Alabama with SoS # 16 and us SoS # 107.

Our Strength of Schedule then obviously is # 107 while Alabama’s Strength of Schedule is # 16.

Obviously, at the end of the seasons, Alabama has been on the Big Stage in Big Bowl games with everyone watching them – and winning.

Obviously, at the end of all of Mark Richt seasons, we have NOT been on the Big Stage in Big Bowl games no one watching us.

Let alone won one.

My concerns are on forced passing downs, us converting on 3rd Down – since we have FAILED against 4 cupcakes.

And, being schooled on Special Teams.

There also is no question that Mark Richt has not enjoyed the success of Wally Butts in the Big Bowl Games on the National Stage everyone watching, nor has he enjoyed the success of Nick Saban in the Big Bowl Games on the National Stage everyone watching.

As a matter of fact, Mark Richt has not even played in one, let alone won any.

It’s a shame really.  When Mark Richt got here, he did really well.

That was a long time ago.

Pac-12 # 13 Oregon lost AGAIN 62-20, Kentucky beat # 25 Missouri – knocking BOTH out of the Top 25, Georgie tek lost its 2nd in a row on bad QB play this time to Duke for God’s sake, # 22 Independent BYU lost 31 to nothing, # 3 TCU barely won again by 3 as Big XII continues to look like shit, Pac-12 # 16 Arizona got doubled-up 56-30, # 17 Big 10 Northwestern squeaks by 24-19 over Ball State for God’s sake,

And, we face Alabama.  Oh joy.

http://espn.go.com/college-football/scoreboard

Lose to Alabama, and none of this will mean anything.

Again.

9-27-2015

75 Bulldogs played against FCS Southern, as our Special Teams graded F, and Devon Gales needs our prayers. On to the MUST WIN for Mark Richt – is this Mark Richt’s 1st meaningful bowl game on the national stage this season ? This game will tell.

Devon Gales has been diagnosed with a spinal injury of several fractures in his neck which were stabilized at Athens Regional Hospital where he remains.  In a special teams play returning a kick-off, Devon Gales was blocking Marshall Morgan.  The crown of Devon Gales’ helmet into to the upper chest of Marshall Morgan, who afterward was replaced by Patrick Beless who missed his 39-yard field goal on a drive by backups including Brice Ramsey who should have had several intercepted.

After a sluggish start to say the least, Greyson Lambert has removed all doubt who our Starter really is for the games that matter.

It has been a long slow grind to get to this game against Alabama, who has played significant games already this season, by stark contrast.

“We just didn’t come out fired up, I guess,” Greyson Lambert said as to why the score was 20-6 at half, as the Human Juke Box spelled out for us all.  FCS Southern was 54 1/2 point underdog, but our running backs were noticeably frustrated at the half.

It would be hard to imagine that The Bulldogs would come out not fired up for Alabama, who frankly embarrassed us the last time we were ranked # 3 and Alabama # 8 at our house in 2008, handing us a nothing to 31 halftime score before we even began to play that day too.  That loss dropped us from # 3 to # 10 and elevated Alabama from # 8 to # 2.  Our black out was another wardrobe moment for Mark Richt.

Alabama is at a disadvantage at QB this season, however.  Their quarterbacks are playing like Brice Ramsey.

No one respects Lame Kitten, and Brian Schottenheimer clearly is the better OC.

But, Alabama does not play Special Teams like we do.  Isaiah McKenzie had an especially poor afternoon, again, holding on to the ball and making good decisions.  He took one punt and ran backwards like a jackal 15 yards in reverse sideways fashion.  On another punt, he short-armed the punt, and lost the fumble.  His smallish hands were also on display on his catches, juggling the ball on easy catches.

4 cupcakes to open this season like the 4 cupcakes we faced to start 2008, we arrived unprepared 2008 to take on Alabama.

I believe we are more prepared 2015 and do have the better quarterback.  Mark Richt has kept Brice Ramsey out of competition for his decision making, and he demonstrated why again today.  His footwork looks improved, but he still is throwing ill-advised passes, whether they are held onto by lesser opponents or not.

2008 was the last time we started 4-0.

It was a brutal 2008 season for Bulldogs’ fans.  We were # 1, then # 3, then # 10, then we lost to Florida and dropped to # 14, then we lost to Georgie tek (who dropped their 2nd game in a row yesterday with again erratic QB play) which ended the 2008 regular season with us ranked # 16.  Had we started the pre-season # 13 AP Poll instead of # 1, we would have finished 2008 season unranked after beating Michigan State in the meaningless Citrus Bowl against # 24 Michigan State who did not deserve to finish that high.

2009 we were not 4-0 and ended unranked.

2010 we were not 4-0 and ended unranked.

2011 we were not 4-0 and ended # 20 Coaches’ Poll.

2012 we were not 4-0 and ended the season with a 7-35 blow-out of Biblical Proportions unprepared at South Carolina and then the ill-fated decision of Mark Richt to not spike the damn ball in a bone-headed stupid stubborn over-ruling of Aaron Murray who did want to spike the ball against Alabama before ending the 2012 season once again in the meaningless Citrus Bowl again against again # 25 AP Poll Nebraska this time.

2013 we were not 4-0 and ended unranked.

2014 we were not 4-0 and ended the season with losses to unranked 7-6 South Carolina, losses to unranked 7-5 Florida, and losses to Georgie tek who has averaged the # 52 Scout.com recruiting ranking to Mark Richt’s # 8 average recruiting ranking.

So, we have not done shit since Alabama pantsed us on national TV at our house in a wardrobe moment nothing to 31 at the half.

So, what have we done 2015 ?

Not one damned thing.

Will we make it to the Citrus Bowl 2015 season ?

Alabama will run the ball.

Alabama will out-perform us on Special Teams.

Alabama’s Defense will show up from the Opening Snap.

The Mark Richt Apologists will say that Mark Richt does not need to win this game.  That he has a better record than Wally Butts, but played in nowhere near the Big Bowl Game Moments of Wally Butts, us on the national stage by stark direct contrast.

Alabama is not whom it is we have been playing.

We did not start 2007 at 4-0 either, as you might recall losing at our house to 6-6 unranked and not even in a bowl game South Carolina following that up with losing at should have been 5-loss vols in another Blow-Out of Biblical Proportions 14-35 – beating the ever-living shit out of us by 3 touchdowns.  ( The vols who with Butch Jones have not been any better than without him blowing 2 of the 3 losses in the 4th quarter with 13-point leads of any team this season losing to Florida now.  Butch Jones is only 14-15, a losing record with the vols, having come there to such fanfare from nobody schools beating nobody there either. )   We ended that season of cupcakes including loss after loss to cupcakes beating # 19 Hawai’i.  Supposedly this was Mark Richt’s great season.

You have to go all the way back to 2006 to find another of our 4-0 starts and that was 5-0 before we lost 4 of the next 5 games 2006 including our loss to a Vandie team 2006 who beat absolutely nobody besides us unless you consider their win over 0-12 Duke on par with us.

And, so we take on Alabama 2015 again now, with this backdrop.

The pressure on Mark Richt is palpable, even with Alabama not having Greyson Lambert or Brian Schottenheimer.

They certainly have EVERYTHING else.

For this season, we have converted on just one-third of our Third-Down Conversions.  There figure to be some of those again Saturday.  Even making one of our Third-Down Conversions in 2002 against what was unranked Florida, would have been enough to win that one.  Instead, we went 0 for 13 on 3rd-Down Conversions against hapless Florida 2002 of Ron Zook.  So, we played that season’s meaningless Mark Richt Bowl Game against 5-Loss FSU.  No one watched us play as no one cared, obviously.

Oh, God, when oh when does Mark Richt play in his 1st Meaningful Bowl Game on the National Stage everyone watching us ?

Let alone win the damn game as so often Wally Butts did.

For the season, we have 8 Fumbles including 2 each by Greyson Lambert and Isaiah McKenzie and another on a snap to Greyson Lambert.

For the season, we have been piss poor on Special Teams.

But, we have not thrown any interceptions.  Of course, we have not been playing Alabama, nor the opponents they have played already either.  A break here, would seal the deal for them – if they can prevent interceptions against our fine secondary, or pick off Greyson Lambert in his 1st big game of many more such coming-up now.

All this, while Greyson Lambert on traditional passing downs, has not stood out against these 4 cupcakes.

https://www.dawgnation.com/sponsorships/georgia-now-can-prepare-for-opponent-that-matters-most-Alabama

There is no question that Nick Saban can not afford another loss, having already lost to Ole Miss.  But, if ever there was a MUST WIN for Mark Richt, this is it – for here as for Alabama there is nothing besides winning that’s important here.

For all our talent, will this be Mark Richt’s 1st meaningful bowl game in 15 years already now ?

There is no margin for error for Mark Richt.

This game will tell.

Will Mark Richt “pull another Richt” this game ?

” Even if they play just a little bit they’re just so much more ready to play,” Mark Richt says today ?

” Even if they play just a little bit they’re just so much more ready to play. ”  Mark Richt 9/25/2015.

Well, all I have to say that is that this applies to EVERY position except for Quarterback.  At QB, Mark Richt plays one guy.  One guy only and always.  The only time he has ever done differently was in preparing DJ Shockley after promising DJ’s Dad that he would play his son every game, if his Dad would allow DJ to be redshirted the 2001 season.

Other than that, Mark Richt does NOT prepare his back-up quarterbacks.  It is the oddest lack of development of quarterbacks in the history of mankind.

https://www.dawgnation.com/football/team-news/richts-change-in-philosophy-on-redshirting

Tramel Terry would have gotten to play the entire last 10 minutes of the Louisiana Monroe game, had Mark Richt not over-ruled the Official when he said he was “SUSPENDING” the game, and Mark Richt told him hang-on, let me talk to their coach.

Tramel Terry is one of the most talked about recruits in the Mark Richt era.  He got to see a snap or 2.  That’s a good problem to have.  It requires ROSTER MANAGEMENT on the part of Mark Richt to keep these guys happy.  Now, he has wasted his entire career in college football – he is so pissed-off about PT.

It’s hard to understand the “coaching decisions” Mark Richt makes.  This guy could’ve/should’ve been a key performer on our lousy stinking special teams, and is the kind of player that makes up any good football team.  You need guys like Tramel Terry.

But, if you do not give a shit about these guys, you will RUN THEM OFF.

We were really hurting at WR, one of his positions besides cornerback.  We acted like he did not exist, instead.  We told him we would play him on defense.  He got beat out so far, but let’s be honest, he has only had a snap or 2 in some games, and other games no play at all.

I told you that refusing to play the last 10 minutes of that game, would come back to haunt Mark Richt.

He’s a dumbass.

First, we heard from the OL and how hurt they ALL were that the 2nd team OL who have worked their asses off, like Tramel Terry has too, never got into the game against Louisiana – Monroe.

Now, this.

10 minutes is a long time.  These are the VERY MINUTES you throw as a bone to just exactly these type of great hard workers.

Tramel Terry has kept his nose clean.

He has good grades.

He is doing EVERYTHING RIGHT.

But, Mark Richt does not give a shit about these guys.

The drop-out of the 2013 class is astounding.

I hurt for these guys.

At least Tramel Terry had a scholarship here.

I certainly did not.

And, I never got to play either.

Again, these are the guys who make up any football team.

85 Scholarship players.

There is NO EXCUSE for not playing the last 10 minutes of the cupcake game against cupcake Louisiana – Monroe other than Mark Richt did not give a shit about these guys.

I told you so.

I was hanging out to see the last 10 minutes.

Oh, I don’t want to play anymore Ref.  Hold on.  Let me talk to their coach.  I don’t want to suspend the game.  Wait a minute.  We paid them slightly over one million to play us.  Maybe I can talk them out of having to play 10 entire freaking minutes of the game ?

15-game seasons for the top teams, of which we are NOT one, requires that you have roster management to insure these guys stay happy.

Tramel Terry is not even listed on the depth chart.

https://uga.rivals.com/cdepthtext.asp

It means so much to these guys; let me tell you.

FCS Football Championship Division 1 football – Baton Rouge hotbed of talent – Southern University Agricultural & Mechanical College

This is the SWAC – Southwestern Athletic Conference.

Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Texas.  There are a ton of talented players.  If it had a college in Georgia to recruit from too, it would be scary how many good players.

We are paying them two-thirds of a million to play us.  They have 6,300 students at the University, and have played football at a very high level since 1916.

Now, they did lose 3 weeks’ ago to Louisiana Tech 15-62 just 3 weeks’ ago, and La Tech has lost every game since; but, whatever that was all about, they straightened their own ship.

We have too many cupcakes on our schedule.

This is our 4th in a row to start the season.

Our fans are giddy.

Well, we did beat Steve Spurrier and not just beat, body slammed him to a pulp.  We had special teams’ gaffes, did not have our back-up QB throw a single pass, and partied all game in one of our best games ever.

We’ve done this before.  We have an off-week this week before taking on Alabama at the site of the nothing to 31 half-time score the last time we were ranked this highly playing Alabama at our house.  It was a wardrobe moment for Mark Richt.

Las Vegas gives us no odds, no line.  We better fix our schedules if we intend to do something about actually being “successful” instead of calling Mark Richt “successful.”

Successful used to have the meaning that the team won games away against top teams, won against teams better than us, upset, and were very good against other teams bowling that season. And, it used to mean that we did not lose to cupcakes – unranked teams that litter our lost column recently.

Not any longer is that the case.

Bulldogs’ fans, affectionately known as HOMERS, DISNEYdawgs.com and Mark Richt Apologists have redefined successful to exclude all discussions of anything other than he is a nice guy with great talent despite averaging over 4 losses a season in 15-game seasons for the top teams of which we aren’t one.

We are NOT ELITE.

We have proven that we’re super talented this season.  We have also made a ton of coaching mistakes.  It seems we do not sit and consider the consequences of our decisions, or do not give a shit.

A team does not just average more than 4 losses a season for 8 seasons now this season and counting, and call themselves “successful.”

Maybe to North Carolina.

Not here at UGA – # 11 All-Time in Wins.

Obviously, Mark Richt needs to get his stars out of this game as quickly as he can.  He will not do so.

We have so much talent with the 33 we over signed this season to fill our 85-man roster for the 1st time in years and years and years and years and years and years and years.

We are loaded for bear.

We have a game after this game that DOES MATTER.

It is EVERTHING to Mark Richt for him to shed his moniker he has so completely earned of

UNDER-ACHIEVER

for Mark Richt to win against Alabama here next Saturday.

No one sheds any light to the different.

I do not want our guys playing scared. I want them to play HARD – to GATA

Get After Their Ass.

Alabama is a very ultra talented team.

We do NOT need to be celebrating what we do against 4 cupcakes.

We must beat Alabama !

We need our noses down on the grindstone.

I am sure our special teams’ “coach” Carter Blount is working on his special teams now in preparation for Alabama.  Although he has quite a few good players now finally playing special teams here for UGA, he still has issues – not easily overcome with all this bad history nowadays – and Alabama will look to exploit us.

We’re going to run the ball ?

Alabama is going to run the ball.

We have a good defense ?

Alabama has a good defense.

We have not fumbled and lost the fumbles (we have fumbled) and thrown interceptions.

Is this a harbinger of success against Alabama that they have and we have not ?

Alabama has been playing excellent football teams.

We certainly are on the other end of the spectrum and continue that.

We are only 34-28 after 2007 against teams who even played in a damn bowl game that year.

We are on our 3rd longest stretch of not winning The SEC Championship in our history dating back to 1933.

There is not anything more important than beating Alabama Saturday week.

Mark Richt has not led us to one single solitary meaningful bowl game yet in 14 tries.

I want that.

National Stage.

Play a team like Alabama we get a week from Saturday.

Mark Richt has not won a meaningful bowl game yet, let alone even play in one.

Mark Richt is more like a friend to the players – not one to kick their butts and get up in their grilles and give them Hell – get them excited and motivating them to be at the top of their game.

It’s not who he is.

But, we have won 6 national championships in football, 3 by Vince Dooley, 2 by Wally Butts, 1 by George Woodruff, while Mark Richt has 0.

http://www.nationalchamps.net/NCAA/database/georgia_database.htm

Mark Richt has a much better record than Wally Butts and ties him Saturday in wins, but our fans nowadays have not supported Mark Richt to get our players up against all odds – to upset the top teams like Mark Richt did when he 1st got here.  We’ve become complacent where “successful” has been redefined to include losing last season to 3 far less-talented teams than we are and 2 of those totally unranked in any poll whatsoever.

You want to call that “successful?”

I certainly do NOT.

http://www.sicemdawgs.com/uga-football-history/

http://masseyratings.com/cf/years.txt

Let’s quit trying to water down terms like “successful” and support Mark Richt in actually getting us to 1 meaningful bowl game in his damn career.

Let’s start with that.

Let’s beat Alabama.

It takes just as much energy to flap your jaws bragging on how “successful” Mark Richt is nowadays at win 2 lose 1 after 2007, as it does to actually say he has NOT taken us to one single meaningful bowl game, let alone win it.

It is because you settle for and are satisfied with allowing him to lose to the better teams.

It’s not just that he loses to teams every year he should not.

Are we shooting to be successful, or are we trying to figure out how to beat Alabama ? Or, do we think it is a foregone conclusion we will beat Alabama, therefore not preparing for how to beat Alabama ? I have no hope our fans, players and coach are preparing for Alabama. I would like to see us telling our players we have proved NOTHING yet.

I know this :

All games against a team higher ranked than us for that season, and we’ve won only 3 of the 24 games. And, all 3 of the wins over higher ranked teams were when we were unranked for the season. Nice. Really nice Mark Richt, who says he is at peace whatever happens here at Georgia.

3-21 higher ranked than us AP or Coaches for the season after 2007.

http://www.cfbtrivia.com/cfbt_detail.php?fry=2008&thy=2014&teamname=Georgia&yrk=on&allop=1&cres=1

If Alabama beats us, we will have won only 3 of the last 25 games against teams who ended up higher ranked than us in the AP or Coaches’ Poll Top 25 for that season we played them.

What ?

You think Alabama is going to lose 5 turnovers against us ?

Kenyan Drake    lost a fumble vs Ole Miss. He’s a RB and KOR

ArDarius Stewart lost a fumble vs Ole Miss.  He’s a wide receiver

Jake Coker     threw 2 interceptions vs Ole Miss

Cooper Bateman  threw an interception vs Ole Miss

Ole Miss threw no interceptions and lost no fumbles.

Is this what you’re hanging your hat on ?

We better be getting after their asses, because my expectations of Mark Richt despite all this talent again this year, is that he has been losing these type games for many years now.

Hasn’t he ?

This is not a harbinger of success for us that Alabama lost 2 fumbles and 3 interceptions – gaining none of either – and lost to a team by less than a TD to a team who is higher ranked than we are.

If you want to know the truth of the matter, Alabama should have won that game.  Losing it cost them NOTHING.

If Mark Richt loses to Alabama, we lose EVERYTHING.

GATA

Get after their asses NOW !

I will point out again to you that EVERY approved blog on The Dawgbone, has guaranteed a Mark Richt win over Alabama.

That is EXACTLY what Mark Richt does NOT need to be hearing.

Did you hear me ?

We have not played anyone, and when we do – despite all this talent – Mark Richt LOSES.

Doesn’t he ?

Josh Kendall : “Asked if this might be his last trip to Sanford Stadium, Spurrier replied, ‘No. I hope to come back many times.’ It wasn’t clear at that moment if he meant as coach of the Gamecocks.” JOSH KENDALL SAYS STEVE SPURRIER IS DONE.

Josh Kendall : “Asked if this might be his last trip to Sanford Stadium, Spurrier replied, ‘No. I hope to come back many times.’ It wasn’t clear at that moment if he meant as coach of the Gamecocks.”

“South Carolina’s defense was so bad that not many people noticed the offense wasn’t much better,” former Bulldogs’ beat-writer at macon.com, Josh Kendall, continues.

“We’re struggling; we’re struggling.”  Steve Spurrier reported to Josh Kendall.

South Carolina never has done anything in football.  Nothing.  I guess like Duke, he felt he could bring something other than in fact being the # 47 team 2015-2016 season according to the Sagarin Ratings.
It amazes me with no offense, no defense, and no recruiting that Steve Spurrier would have his team ranked # 47 in any poll.
What’s even more amazing is that one of the nation’s best sportswriters, Josh Kendall, would stay over there.  We’ll take you back in a New York nanosecond over here Josh Kendall – one of my favorite sportswriters of All-Time.
If indeed as Josh Kendall discusses in this article, this is Steve Spurrier’s last game against Georgia, what is South Carolina to do in college football ?
South Carolina needs some kind of strategy.
Josh Kendall has been telling them that over there ever since he quit this gig here as our beat writer to take that gig there as their beat writer.  I miss Josh Kendall.  I love a sportswriter who tells it like it is.
Ever since Bob Stoops left Steve Spurrier for the 1999 season, Steve Spurrier has really not done much.
Steve Spurrier needs a good defensive coordinator. Without that, he’s half a football team – and, certainly NOT championship caliber except in the MOUTH.
Piss Off, Steve Spurrier – we owned you as a player, we owned you as coach at South Carolina, and besides your mouth, you could not win the big one as a player, as coach at South Carolina, or as Coach at Florida except with Bob Stoops as your defensive coordinator.
Florida would rather have Ron Zook than you.
$ 4 million dollars a year ?
For what ?
A mouth ?
That is all you’ve ever had, except with Bob Stoops as your Defensive Coordinator.
You are half a coach, Steve Spurrier
– and, ALL mouth.
5-6 against us at South Carolina.
Piss Off !

Georgia with population over 10 million obliterates South Carolina population less than 5 million on stellar performance by Greyson Lambert setting ALL-TIME NCAA RECORD QUARTERBACKS 24/25 FOR 96% COMPLETIONS to send Steve Spurrier off in the sunset with A LOSING RECORD AT SOUTH CAROLINA TO GEORGIA 5-6. The 52-20 is a Slamming of USCe with 7 TD and a field goal – decking South Carolina and Steve Spurrier. Bring on Alabama, and adios Steve Spurrier – take THAT 52-20 ! Hang half a hundred on your ass. Yeah, baby !

9-20-2015

Steve Spurrier has inferior talent to us, and never did it show more thanks to the great performance at QB by Junior Transfer Greyson Lambert on a clear calm 85 degree night everywhere around here, except at Sanford Stadium as we relished the win over him.   There was no calm inside Sanford Stadium, not on this night.  Brawls broke out again and again, the officials having to stop the game to try to settle it down.  I mean South Carolina has NEVER done ANYTHING in football ever, but beating the shit out of Steve Spurrier scoring more than 7 Touchdowns on him, makes it all the more abundantly clear just how much more talented UGA is than South Carolina this season.

This was not the night we lose to an inferior team.  We were up for this game, and the crowd let the players know from the get-go and relentlessly tirelessly the talent Mark Richt brought here, body slammed South Carolina from pillar to post.

Greyson Lambert came out on the opening series and accurately hit his receivers in stride, and boy did they hold on to the ball for Greyson Lambert.  That opened up the rushing attack for Georgia, as Sony Michel and Nick Chubb who came in here together last year, chewed them up and sent them flying.  On one of Sony Michel’s 3 touchdowns, as he got to the end zone there were 3 USCe defenders and Sony Michel just bopped him violently and fiercely decked two of the South Carolina defenders as he crossed the goal line.

Then, Thomas Brown called on Keith Marshall and he replaced Nick Chubb at the goal line and scored our 7th TD.

Reminiscent of the Matt Robinson # 17 performance against Alabama # 10 at UGA # 6 in 1976 here between the hedges 21-0, Greyson Lambert lead the favored charges on a romp through South Carolina.  Ok, so South Carolina is a team reeling all season, including their loss to Kentucky at Columbia just last week, after a horrible performance against another nobody team North Carolina in the Opener, but no one cares on this night as the Good Guys kicked the shit out of Steve Spurrier.

All-time head to head, Steve Spurrier does NOT have a winning record over Mark Richt at 6-6 (including Florida 2001.)  At South Carolina, Mark Richt is 6-5 vs Steve Spurrier. Many hope this is the last meeting between Steve Spurrier and Georgia.

AND WHAT A WAY TO GO.

3 and a half hours of overwhelming joy, the euphoria seemingly never ended.  The Police were everywhere trying to find overzealous fans, but none of us had left early.  We savored every moment, as the more than 10 million in this state grasped the moment by the brass ring and really lapped it up.

Southern next week, and then Alabama who found Ole Miss too much for them this same night I am told.

I have Matt Robinson’s # 17 Jersey in the locker room after that win over Alabama 39 years’ ago now, as Matt tried to hang it on the hook in his cage but missed and it hit the floor in front of me and all the press but now at his feet.

I would relish doing this to Alabama again, and of course that will be all the talk between now and this rematch of top 10 teams 39 years’ later now here at Sanford.

We have a really talented team.

We did not know we had a Quarterback.

I for one never thought Greyson Lambert could have such a performance.

Matt Robinson in 1976 ?

Hell yeah, I thought he could as I never did care for the Vince Dooley choice of Ray Goff instead of Matt Robinson.  Ray Goff from Moultrie never did play in the NFL, but Matt Robinson did and was great.

Matt Robinson, now 60 years old, is from Farmington Michigan and went to North Springs here in Atlanta.  He has tried to buy the jersey from me through the years through a mutual longtime friend, a Stewardess for Delta.

Matt Robinson was a Starting Quarterback in the NFL for years.

But, I shall always remember his performance against Alabama in just this same exact set-up as it plays out this season now 39 years later.

I got a scar on my arm getting over the hedges – they are really sharp, or were back then and I have not ventured through them since, as a result.

But, I have the Jersey proudly to wear for 39 seasons now.

Vince Dooley always played Ray Goff, you see ?  Then, on 3rd down, he would bring in Matt Robinson to bail his ass out.

Even with Alabama’s loss to Ole Miss, they figure to be about # 10 same as they were in 1976 and we figure to be about the same # 6 we were in 1976 as well, since we should move up one spot with their loss from # 7 today.

Greyson Lambert sets himself up for such a miracle win in a miracle season for now Mark Richt 2015-2016 season.  This team is that talented.

We emptied the bench tonight.

Or, the score would have been even bigger.

10-1 Matt Robinson finished in 1976, losing to Pittsburgh in the Sugar Bowl I went to.  I hated that as Pittsburgh won the national championship by beating us 1976.    We lost to Ole Miss that season, in Oxford.  Now, 39 years later Ole Miss beats Alabama just prior to Alabama coming back here.

On this day, no one was looking ahead to anything.

We all wanted Steve Spurrier to fling his visor.

52-20.

Yeah.

But, I am certainly looking forward to Alabama now.

And, thinking on Matt Robinson # 17 and his performance against Alabama 1976 to beat Alabama 21 to nothing.

On this night, we had 17 passing 1st Downs, on the arm of Greyson Lambert who was in a zone.

We had another 15 First Downs over and above just the 17 passing 1st Downs of Greyson Lambert.

Matt Robinson I am sure is proud of Greyson Lambert on this night.

3 Touchdown passes, all from Greyson Lambert.

4 Rushing Touchdowns in addition.

Can you believe that ?

250 yards rushing.

I know I know, it’s a lousy South Carolina team.

So what ?

Greyson Lambert passed for 330 yards tonight !

Lorenzo Nunez from Harrison in Kennesaw for South Carolina’s Steve Spurrier, was no match for Greyson Lambert on this night.

Nick Chubb went for a buck 59 and 2 more touchdowns on just 21 carries but did not have a ball thrown to him in addition.

Malcolm Mitchell had 8 catches for a buck 22 and a TD !  Eight (8.)

Jackson Harris had several catches, again.

Sony Michel, who might be more a wide receiver, had 3 catches for 2 TD as South Carolina has no match for him, either.

Jay Rome had a catch.

And, Terry Godwin caught the NCAA record catch completion among his several catches.

Michael Chigbu was targeted and brought his pass in too.

Quayvon Hicks had several receptions.

Jeb Blazevich had an outstanding performance too also with several more catches.

Brice Ramsey punted the ball 42 yards when Keith Marshall tried to run the clock out and did get one 1st Down.

Dominick Sanders had yet again another long interception return.  He turns on the after burners and gets going North South as well as any who have played defensive back.

Even Brendan Douglas got in the game.  Got to love that.

Reggie Davis had an outstanding game, notwithstanding his one penalty.

Malkom Parrish again was just outstanding at Cornerback tonight.

Jake Ganus and Tim Kimbrough were everywhere.

Sterling Bailey and Leonard Floyd got them behind the line of scrimmage.

So too did, Natrez Patrick and John Atkins.

Reggie Wilkerson again made a name for himself, this time also getting South Carolina behind the line of scrimmage.

And, Trenton Thompson had several tackles of Georgia boys on South Carolina’s team.

And, Leonard Floyd got one of his rare sacks.

On one run, Leonard Floyd picked up his man and flung him down backwards in a heap behind him like a rag doll.

It got really chippy once we pasted half a hundred on them.

South Carolina was touchy and defensive, seeing how inferior their talent to the top players in this state on our own team from here, too.

Their sense of their inferiority was palpable.

Terry Godwin got a start.  He’ll never look back.

In  all, Mark Richt played 71 players of his 85 scholarship players against SEC foe and longtime evil genius Steve Spurrier.

All he could muster on this night was the same poor defense, and rotating quarterbacks, who needed help from us to score.

While we piled up 576 yards of total offense on Steve Spurrier.

God, you’ve got to Love It !

There is a God, after all !

Ok, so this game is in the books, the 1st of 4 cupcakes to begin this season with Southern in next, whatever that is : Louisiana Tech beat Southern 62-15 last week.

I am told it is a University.

Well, they’ve got that over Georgie tek.

Southern will be at noon.

Then, we’ve got Nick Satan.  We have a few demons to exorcise.

1 down, bigger demons to come for sure.

But, on this beautiful night, it was 85 here, and hotter under the collar on one headed into the sunset Steve Spurrier !

Adios sucker : 52-20

Take that !

Bring on Alabama !

Interview with Mark Richt and Steve Spurrier debating with each other who needs to win this game more than the other – when Steve Spurrier has an advantage all-time against each other head-to-head.

Interview with Mark Richt and Steve Spurrier

  • Debating with each other on who needs to win this game more.

Steve Spurrier : “I am quite sure Mark Richt hates having his LOSING RECORD against me already with my 6 wins to his only 5 wins, despite the fact that I came here to South Carolina a program who has never done anything in football, ever.  So, Mark Richt must win this game.”

Mark Richt : “I know what the hell I’m doing and have coached in football for 25 years.  I am foremost a Christian and that is what consumes me most, not just being known as a football coach.”

Steve Spurrier : “That did not take long Mark.  I noticed how you ducked the point about me having a winning record against you with my 6 wins to your only 5.  Instead, you want to act like you are some Saint that you recently became a Christian.  When you say you started coaching, I had been a Christian sir for 30 years’ already because I am the son of a Presbyterian Minister and was brought up a Christian.  You were not.”

Mark Richt : “I am a Christian foremost.”

Steve Spurrier : “My profession is football coach.”

Mark Richt : “If I was known just as a football coach, that would be disaster.”

Steve Spurrier : “I am glad you brought that up Mark that if you were known just as a football coach that that would be disaster, because I played in the NFL too.  So, I am known not only as a great football coach with a better record against you than you have against me as football coaches, but also I am known as a player.  All you ever did in Pop Warner football or any other level of football, is to warm the damn bench.”

Mark Richt : ” I have won one of the last 2 games against each other.”

Steve Spurrier : “You, in fact, have lost 4 of the last 5 against me.  You do not care about winning.  It is not all consuming to you; it most certainly is to me.  I hate losing.  You seem to embrace it.”

Mark Richt : “I am a Christian.”

Steve Spurrier : “I beat the shit out of you, and was born and raised a Christian.  You were not.  You did not even become a Christian until the last days of Bobby Bowden as coach.  I played football in The SEC as a player, too.”

Mark Richt : “I played football at Miami.”

Steve Spurrier : “That Big East conference way back then played pussy football, and you did NOT play at Miami, which was not even in the damned ACC then; it was Big East bullshit conference since disbanded.  You warmed the damned bench even in that conference and you know it.  You also know neither the ACC nor the Big East are any good at football, and you could not play in the Big East and thus did NOT play there, and you certainly played cupcakes when you were NOT the coach at FSU either.  What I came here to talk about is beating each other in FOOTBALL.  You do not hold a candle to me as a player, and I own the winning record against you as coaches.”

Mark Richt : “South Carolina has never done anything in football, ever.”

Steve Spurrier : “I have beat your ass and have the better record against you to prove it, Mark.  Can you just face the facts for once in your damned lifetime Mark ?”

Mark Richt : “I do not care if I win or lose this game.  I am not measured by that.  All I care about is leading the players to Jesus.  That is how I am identified.”

Steve Spurrier : “Mark, you are identified as a coach with a losing record to me, son.  Period.”

Mark Richt : “At Georgia here, we have a lot of teams who hate our guts.”

Steve Spurrier : “Then, why is that you can not get your teams up to play me ?  Tell me that Mark Richt, boy ?”

Mark Richt : “Because it’s not important to me if we beat South Carolina, or not.”

Steve Spurrier : “It’s not important for you to beat Florida either, is it Mark Richt, boy, because you have a 5-9 record against Florida.  Now, I know Florida hates your guts at Georgia, don’t they Mark Richt, boy ?”

Mark Richt : “I do not care if I beat Florida or not.  That is not what defines me.  I am defined mostly as being a Christian – first and foremost and all I care about, Steve.”

Steve Spurrier : “You are a wimp-ass Mark.  You were not any good as a football player compared to me head-to-head, and now you aren’t any good as a football coach compared to me head-to-head.  Are you ?”

Mark Richt : “I have a winning record against South Carolina as a coach.”

Steve Spurrier : “I won the Heisman Trophy as a player and played in the NFL.  Now, I have a winning record against you as coaches.  You were a shit-ass player, and after becoming a Christian 30 years’ after I did with my Dad a minister, you quote scripture to me and profess to be such a better Christian than I, when you are a shit-ass coach compared to me with your losing record to me.  You get any of that Mark Richt, boy ?”

Mark Richt : “I know what the hell I am doing.”

Steve Spurrier : “You know what the hell you’re doing ?  Yes, you’re a shit-ass player, you’re a lousy Christian compared to me, and you’re a shit-ass coach against me.  That about sum it up Mark Richt, boy ?”

Mark Richt : “It does not matter who wins or loses, just whether I lead the boys to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.”

Steve Spurrier : “As my Christian Presbyterian Minister Dad always told me, if doesn’t matter who wins or loses, why in the Hell then do they keep score ?”

Mark Richt : “You won the Heisman Trophy as a player, yes, but as a player you still lost to Georgia.”

Steve Spurrier : “Then, why the hell do you have a losing record against me with their players at Georgia ?”

Mark Richt : “I have done better as a coach than you have.”

Steve Spurrier : “You are full of shit Mark Richt.  I have won a national championship as coach and 6 SEC Championships, and I have beat the ever-living shit out of you head-to-head as coaches.  So, it is far more important for you to win tomorrow night than it is for me.”

Mark Richt : “I do not care if I win or lose, I am going to Heaven no matter what happens here at Georgia as coach, for me Steve.”

Steve Spurrier : “I too am going to Heaven, but I will take with me having a winning record against you head-to-head because you do not see yourself as a coach, and I see this as my profession – my Calling to be head ball coach, Mark.”

Mark Richt : “My identity is in Jesus Christ.”

Steve Spurrier : “You have lost to 10 unranked teams after 2007, including to me last year, you wimp-ass hiding behind your Christianity as to why you can not beat me head-to-head with your losing record to me as coaches.”

Mark Richt : “If you’re a better coach than I am, why are we both paid the same $ 4 million dollars a year ?”

Steve Spurrier : “Because Georgia fans make your job a cushy damn job.”

Vince Dooley : ” Because the older you get, you realize that LOSING hurts MORE than winning feels good. ” Mark Richt : “there’s something besides winning that’s important here” – WHY does 1 have 3 NC and the other -0- ?

Mark Bradley on his column beginning Front Page Sports today print edition page C3 AJ-C :

Vince Dooley :

“Because the older you get, you realize that LOSING hurts MORE than winning feels good.”

This is NOT how our not so illustrious current coach sees it at ALL.  He is quite happy to lose as many games – MORE than 4 losses a season after 2007 – as he might ever want to lose.  They do not bother him as he repeats his refrain to us all instead : “There’s something besides winning that’s important here”

Of course, to EVERY FREAKING COACH in anything :

WINNING IS ALL THAT MATTERS AND NOTHING ELSE MATTERS, at all.

Vince Dooley has 6 SEC Championships and half the time, 3, National Championships in Football.

Mark Richt kinda sorta has 1 SEC Championship in 2002 when the only other SEC team ranked in the Top 25 Coaches’ Poll for 2002 season is Auburn – a sorry ass 4-loss freaking team.

Mark Richt, in fact, in 2005 – in every single solitary poll – is ranked the # 3 SEC team – WORSE RANKED than Alabama and LSU 2005 season every poll – ALL POLLS.

Mark Richt does not give a shit about winning SEC Championships – and repeatedly has told us he does not give a shit about it :

“My goal is to MAKE IT TO THE SEC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME AT THE GEORGIA DONE.”

He has a losing record at the Georgia Dome.

Vince Dooley won the NC 1966

Vince Dooley won the NC 1968

Vince Dooley won the NC 1980

We ALL wanted to DUMP DOOLEY for Erk Russell.

Mark Richt’s supporters today think he is worth more than his $ 4 million dollar annual salary.

They do not give a shit about winning, either.

I will be more than willing to prove to you Vince Dooley’s NC in 1966, 1968 and 1980 – as I have done repeatedly on this blog, and you all know it.

THIS is what is wrong with our program nowadays.

I hate losing more than 4 games a season after 2007 as Mark Richt continues to do.

Hate it.

Interview with Mark Richt where he comes clean and tells the truth, FINALLY.

Why did you take Brice Ramsey out after Malcolm Mitchell said the throw was perfect ?

“Tell Malcolm Mitchell to shut-up.”

Well, all the other passes by Brice Ramsey were perfect too and they were caught.  Yet, you yanked him after they knocked the ball out of Malcolm Mitchell’s hand.  Why can’t we talk to Brian Schottenheimer about this after these 2 in a row lousy outings by Greyson Lambert ?

“First, let me say, if this is all you are going to do in this interview, I will just leave, ok ?  Secondly, this is by design that we placate Brice Ramsey, who I made a deal with like I did DJ Shockley’s Dad in 2001 when I redshirted him too that they would get a stupid series whether other QB is hot right then or not.  Got it ?  Thirdly, Brian Schottenheimer made his views in public to you press, and I told him I know what the HELL I am doing, and I want my buddy who prays with me to be our QB.  Brian Schottenheimer said to me that if I am going to be dictator here and tell everyone else what we can think even, that he would not do interviews anymore.  And, I said OK to that.”

Did you really feel that Hutson Mason is NFL caliber ?

“Hutson Mason is great.  Yes, I think he is playing in the NFL now, isn’t he ?”

No, coach, he is not. He is on no NFL roster, and never has been.  Never will be coach.  You know that ?

“No.  If I tell the UGA fans he is, they will never remember I said that he is better than Nick Marshall.”

He’s not.

“They’ll never know that.”

Why ?

“Because I told Nick Marshall he would never be a QB here, only defensive back because I told him Hutson Mason is better than he is.”

The record does not show that.  In fact, Nick Marshall was a lot better QB than Hutson Mason.

“Well, they would’ve never known Nick Marshall was a better QB than Hutson Mason if I had had my way.  I wouldn’t have let him play QB to find out.”

That’s like Cam Newton Coach ?

“Yes, exactly.  See ?  I told Cam Newton that he’d never be considered here as a QB, only Tight End here for me.”

You liked your QB instead, rather than Cam Newton ?

“Sure.”

But, you went 6-7 with that quarterback and Cam Newton beat the shit out of you by nearly 3 TD while he beat everyone else and won the NC at 14-0 undefeated.

“We do it the right way here, and no one would have ever known he was a better quarterback than little Aaron Murray, if he had accepted my terms and come here to be Tight End because I would never have given him 1 snap under center here, only Tight End.”

You do it the right way ?

“Yeah, I don’t over sign.”

Coach you signed 32 this off-season when the NCAA allows 25 per season.

“Ok, I over sign.  That’s true.  But, I kick their butts off the team, so I can over sign again the next year, too.”

But, they say you turn your back on them, just when they needed you most.

“We have a stricter drug policy.”

When you kick them off the team, that’s their umpteen violation.  All other schools have the same policy for that.

“Aaron Murray was my Favorite, ok?  Can we leave it that ?”

You mean like Joe Tereshinski III ?

“Yes.”

You told us all that Joe Tereshinski III is a better QB than Matthew Stafford.

“Well I had his dad on my staff.”

So, you prayed with his Dad ?

“So ?”

Willie Martinez ?

“Yes, we prayed together.”

Did God tell him to leave or you did ?

“God told me.  I told them.”

So, you are a prophet ?

“God talks to me.”

What else does God tell you, and how come God never talks to any of the rest of us ?

“God told me Joe Cox is better QB than Zach Mettenberger.”

Even with his chronic shoulder ?

“Yes.  I had a private charter fly him out there to Okie to be the starting QB that season.”

Even when he had the flu so bad that you had to quarantine him too ?  Don’t you think, now, looking back at what this blog writer told you pre-game that you should have played Zach Mettenberger instead, that he should have at least gotten 1 snap spelling Joe Cox. You lost because you did not.

“Joe Cox is better than Zach Mettenberger.”

Joe Cox lost.

“So ? I do not care about won or lost.  As long as you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, all is well.”

Zach Mettenberger is in the NFL.

“Joe Cox is in the NFL, isn’t he ?”

No, coach, he isn’t.

“Ok, so I have been wrong 6 times.  Is that what you’re telling me ?”

No, coach, I am telling you – you are dumb.

“I have a college degree.”

You are dumb.  You are stupid.

“God, tells me I am forgiven for making 6 mistakes so far at UGA at just QB position – picking the wrong one compared to another.”

Coach, you were 81 % win % going into year 5, and only 68 % after 2007.  What caused this large discrepancy ?

“The SEC was down when I first got here.  Take 2002 for example, ok ?  The only other SEC team ranked in the Coaches’ Poll Top 25 besides us was a 4-loss Auburn. Since, the SEC has been great and well truthfully, if I have to tell the TRUTH for once, far better than I EVER will be.”

Really ?

“Well, maybe they will suck again.  Wait until year 2025.”

Coach, what does your Sunday School Class think about all your lies to the press ?

“We have talked about that.  I told them that it is OK to lie to the press.  The press does not need to know anything and if I lie to the press, they will buy it hook, line and sinker – and, I will get away with it.  Then, we all sat down and prayed to God that no one would ever give me any truth serum to make me finally for the first time, tell the truth.”

Coach, in 2001 you said you knocked the lid off the # 11 All-Time Most Wins Program when you beat # 4 vols on the hobnail boot.  Can you share how you look at that now please ?

“Well, beating the # 4 vols is great.  It was our greatest victory in the history of UGA football.”

But, Coach you lost 4 games that year.

“Well, yeah, but 2nd Corinthians says whatever is good, let your mind dwell on these things.”

Ok, so the 1 win makes up for the fact you lost 4 games ?

“Oh, there’s something more important than winning around here at The University of Georgia.”

Really ?  What is that ?

“I am known for being a Christian.  That is what defines me.  I know I am going to Heaven – no matter how well or how poorly I do here as just a football coach.”

So, you do not want to be just a football Coach ?

“No. That is not what defines me.  I do not care about coaching football.  What’s important to me is that I lead the players to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, or at least tried to.”

I see.  So, you really do not give a rats’ behind about winning ?

“Winning the players over to Jesus, yes.  Winning on the football field ?  No.  That is not what defines me at all.”

Did you take Florida lightly last year as ALL your players said after the game and leading up to it ?

“Tell ALL my players to shut-up about taking Florida lightly.”

Why did you pooch kick-off to Georgie tek yellowjackets to give them the ball at the 43-yard line with 13 ticks on the clock ?

“I was dumb.  I should have kicked-off deep.”

Why did you decoy Todd Gurley II at USCe at their 4-line yard, losing by less than a TD, and have a guy who can not run run around until he sees someone free in the end zone, and then pass it through the end zone if nothing is there – when he can not throw the ball that far, either ?

“I was dumb.  I should have pounded it with Todd Gurley II.”

So, you have a lot of talent this year, now that he is gone ?

“Yes.”

So, you are proud of that, are you ?

“No.  I do not care about talent.  If the qb will come to me and tell me he accepts Jesus, I will play him more than the others who have not.”

So, that is by Plan ?  That is what you do Coach ?

“Sure.  That is all I care about.”

What do you say to the we-want-more old-school UGA Program fans who say that you average the # 8 Scout.com recruiting class – same as the 14 NC on your watch have averaged – but are only # 21 won/lost record after 2007 ?

“Well, the coaches on my watch here, have only been at their school 3 1/2 years to win these 14 NC.”

Coaching is getting more from less, Coach.

“That’s the hell not true.  I’ve been here for now my 15th season averaging # 8 Scout.com recruiting class, and I get the complete opposite : I get less with more and everyone loves me.  I get less from more than any coach ever.  Coaching is not getting more with less.  That’s as silly as saying that winning is everything and nothing else matters.  All I care about is winning the boys over to my Religion – that is ALL that defines me.  Tell them that if they want a coach who gets more with less and who thinks winning is everything and nothing else matters, to hire a football coach who is a proven head coach.  Again, not to sound like a broken record – but that is not what defines me.  My walk with Jesus defines me and NOTHING ELSE MATTERS.”

And, they have been there for 3 1/2 years with avg # 8 Scout.com recruiting class before they won the NC.

“Vince Dooley was here for 17 years before he won his 1st NC here.”

No coach, Vince Dooley won NC in 1966, 1968 and 1980.  And, by the same very polls that said Georgie tek yellowjackets are NC their 6 times.  UGA has been NC for 6 seasons now, same as Georgie tek yellowjackets.

“So, in 17 years, he had 3 NC ?”

Yes, Vince Dooley won 3 of our 6 NC in his 1st 17 years here and when The SEC was better than 2002-2005 when you won your 2 SEC Championships with 2005 finding you in fact not # 1 in The SEC but # 3 in The SEC in every single poll.

“That’s not what defines me.  If that defined me, that I was just a college football coach –  that would be disaster.”

Disaster ?  It would be a disaster that the word coaching is defined as getting more with less ?

“Coaching is not what I do. Not how I am defined. So, yes, that would be disaster.”

You are defined as having the # 8 Scout.com average recruiting class and # 21 won/lost record after 2007 – getting LESS with MORE.  So now what about this  brother-in-law of yours ?

“Well, I got him the job here as Chaplain the minute I took this easy gig where the fans believe whatever I tell them to believe.”

Do you feel that is a conflict of interest and nepotism ?

“No.  No, I do not.  He really is not an employee of The University of Georgia.”

But, you hold GALA banquets raising tons of cash for him, even selling Todd Gurley II autographed actual game-day Jersey ?

“So ?”

So, that is nepotism and conflict of interest and against the Constitution ?

“Not if I tell them it’s not.  I am God. If I say it is not against the Constitution, then the fans here will believe me.”

So, you say whatever you want to say then Coach to impose your Will ?

“No.  Not my will, but His Will be done.  And, my Sunday School class said I am forgiven.”

His Will ?

“Yes, I pray to God and he talks to me and tells me that He wants me to give my brother-in-law  a comfortable living too – like I do.”

So, that is why you hold this GALA and stump for his Chaplaincy even using The University of Georgia owned game Jersey, get it signed and sell it for him ?

“You’re catching on now.”

I try.

“You want to be on my staff ?”

No.  You are spiraling out of control, and I would not work with you long because you would be gone, as your lies are catching up with you now.

“I need to replace my Offensive Coordinator.  How about that job?”

I would not be any good at that Coach.

“That’s ok.  As long as you kowtow to me and since it’s not really my will but His Will anyway, all is good.  The Offensive Coordinator here doesn’t do anything anyway.  I make all these plays, every decision, every everything about time-outs, starters, play-calling, pooch kicks – I do it all.  I am great.  I am God himself warmed over.”

No.  Thank you Coach.  That does not sound like a job. Be a puppet OC ?  You really do it all as OC anyway ?  You have quite an ego and are stubborn.  Do you feel that is indicative of Christians ?

“Have you been saved ?”

Coach, can we get back to FOOTBALL please ?

“Football is not what defines me.”

I am sensing that.

“That would be a disaster for me to be known just as a Football  Coach.  Folks might judge me on my coaching ability in football.  I really want to go on another mission.  When is the season over?”

I think it already is Coach.

“Oh, Goodie.  Since I won 9 games like I always do, can I have a raise ?”

Well, you average 9 wins a season.

“That’s pretty good.”

The top teams play 15 games.

“I do not care about that.  That is not how I am judged.”

What would you do with a raise ?

“Hire more buddies and pay them under the table so I am surrounded by all yes men, and give the rest to God.”

So, you do not have any money ?

“It’s all God’s money, so no.  Not me personally, I do not.”

Do you even know anything about football ?

“I was on the bench.  They did not play me.”

I understand too that you were lost.  Is that right ?

“Yes, I was brought up all wrong.  I was taught lying is ok, and cheating is ok and that I can ignore the U.S. Constitution.  I raised a lot of hell.  Deep down, that is who I really am still.  But, the Good Lord FORGIVES me.”

So, you are not perfect, but forgiven for it ?

“Right.  When I tell lies for example, I mutter under my breath : Forgive me Lord.”

And, the Lord tells you it’s ok ?

“The Lord God tells me all is forgiven.”

So, you can do it again ?

“As long as I mutter under my breath : Forgive me Lord.  Yes.”

But, you are not doing that now ?

“No.  That damn truth serum you gave me is really working overtime.”

What do you say to the millions of folks who say you’ve grown stale and no longer do as well as when you first got here Coach ?

“Tell them to shut-up.”

Shut-up ?

“Are they a fan of this football program, or aren’t they ?”

Well, I think they might want something more, you know ?

“Get to the Georgia Dome?”

That’s your goal is it ?

“Yes.  Get there and I have done my job.”

You have a losing record there.

“I have a losing record at that damn Gator Bowl too.”

Yes, you are 5-9 vs Florida.

“But, we are at a disadvantage down there.”

You think it should be moved ?

“Yes.  Yes, I do.”

You’d like this job to remain a cushy job for you and no one have high expectations ?

“We’ve got a ton of great talent.”

Well, yeah, that’s my point.  But, you are not doing well they all say.

“Tell them to shut-up.”

Tell them to just wait ?

“Yeah, wait until next year when I can fix this with the # 2 best QB nationally coming here again.”

But, you lose 20 seniors – nearly all of them starters.

“Yeah, but if I make everyone so miserable about our QB this year, all they will talk about all off-season and later this year when we’re out of it again, is the # 2 best QB coming-in.”

Control what they think about ?

“I think that’s what we’re discussing.  Isn’t it?”

You are the head coach.

“Damn right I am.”

Coach ?

“Oh, excuse me.  Tell my Sunday School Class I said darn right I am.”

No, Coach, I have to tell the Truth.

“Maybe, you do.”

You don’t ?

“God Forgives me, so no.”

Who you going to lose to this year Coach ?

“Until I do, no one.”

But, they all KNOW you will.

“See?”

See what coach ?

“What a cushy damn job I have.”

Coach, this is Georgia.

“As long as I recruit great football players, they will be satisfied.”

I think that since this is Georgia where you have no in-state competition for the recruits yet have the 4th best talent pool in the nation here, that they know they can recruit these guys no matter who is coach ?

“That’s why I came here.”

For the talent ?

“Right.”

But, coach you have averaged more than 4 losses a season for the latest 7 years now.

“I have won a lot of games too, Grace Be to God.”

We play more games now than the older coaches, and there are not any coaches left who are still there at their job after 14 years, except for 5.  What do you mean you’re 5th best of coaches who’ve been there 14 years ?

“So ?  I’ve still got the 5th best record of coaches that have been there at their school at least 14 years.”

There are only 5 coaches who have been there that long, period Coach. Let me ask you this, do you know who the best QB is ?

“No.  But, Brian Schottenheimer does. He went to the press and told you how much he hates game manager.  I told him that he would not be allowed to tell you that anymore.  That I love nothing better than a game manager.  Hell, we might have a screaming good team and then all you press would be all over me to repeat that every year, if I were to play a play-maker NFL type QB instead of my game manager buddy.  He prays with me, you know ?”

I had heard that.  So, when you told the press last week that Brian Schottenheimer wants Greyson Lambert too, you were lying ?

“So ?  God says I am forgiven.  I asked him.  And, I told Brian Schottenheimer to shut-the-hell up about it.”

Ok, so what is your record against teams who made the Top 10 any year after 2007 ?

“16 games, 2 wins.”

What is your record against teams who made the Top 25 on the road after 2007 ?

“11 games, same 2 wins.”

Your record against teams who played in a bowl game the season you played them after 2007 ?

“I’m 34-28.”

See ?

“55 %”

That’s good ?

“It’s better than bad.”

But, you’ve also lost some games to teams after 2007 who were not ranked ?

“10 so far.  I avoided the eleventh Saturday.”

You’ve lost to 10 teams after 2007 who were not ranked for season or for game in AP or Coaches ?

“Yes, so what?”

That sucks.

“Shut-up.”

Sorry Coach.  This is now the 3rd longest stretch of no SEC Championship in UGA history.

“I win a lot of games on the road I am told.   And, I have a lot of talent.”

You have won only 6 away from Sanford of 21 games after 2007 who made the Top 25 that year.

“29 %.”

You have had now 86 NFL Draft Picks.

“Yes, so ?”

So with all this talent you finally admit that your record actually in fact sucks, given the talent here ?

“I see your frustration.   I understand your frustration.  I wasn’t born yesterday.  I’ve coached football for 25 years so I know what the hell I’m doing, ok ?”

But, you lose.

“My identity is in Christ.  That gives me peace no matter what happens here.”

Do you feel you’re getting the job done here now Coach with all this talent ?

“I have had some inexplicable losses.”

You had 3 of those in just the most recent season.

“So ?  That is all behind us now.  Everything is great now.”

You’ve lost 21 of the latest 24 games against teams higher ranked than you for the season after 2007.

“So ?  I’ve lost 23 of the latest 34 games against teams who made the Top 25 that season.”

That’s my point.

“We have a great recruiting class coming in.”

Well, yeah, you have a ton of talent as you say coach.  That is my point.

“Wait until next year.”

So, you are giving up on this year ?

“Don’t print this, but I have done so much that I can keep this gig no matter what I do this year, so I am screwing it up – writing it off.”

You feel this job is that cushy, that you can have yet another throw-away year ?

“Are you trying to say Religion is the problem here ?”

Well, something is the problem here.  What do you think it is ?

“I have been unlucky.”

God believes in luck ?

“Yes.”

You really believe that ?

“Sure, I do.  We’ll get lucky and get a bowl game against the # 1 team some day.”

You’ll get the shit kicked out of you.

“I gave that part up of my job.  I am CEO now.  I don’t do that.   That’s not my job.  And, I am forgiven.  God told me that again just this morning – that I am forgiven.  Anyway, that is not what I am all about.  It is not what defines me.  I am forgiven because Jesus Christ died on the Cross for me, and washed away ALL MY SINS.  I am born again.  I am forgiven for that loss too then, ok ?  I am at peace whatever the hell happens here in football at Georgia.”

You are full of shit Coach.

“I am forgiven.  So, just shut-up, ok ?”

Why is it you feel you must control what everyone thinks, even, Coach ?  Why can’t there be transparency about your answers to the press ?

“I am sick and tired of these press meetings where you give me no respect.  I came here to talk about what I want you to know, what I say to you, and you are insisting that I answer questions about secrets that I do not want to disclose the answers to you about, because it makes me look bad as a coach.”

“That’s by Plan. We do that.”

Mark Richt at halftime told CBS as he went into the locker room his team looking like shit, that he put Brice Ramsey in for a far better series than any Greyson Lambert had that :

“That’s by Plan.  We do that.”

Well, yeah you dumb stupid shit.

Stubborn as HELL.

He once told the Macon fan that he knew what the hell he’s doing.

No, he does not.

“I’m going to spend some time just seeing what everybody else in the country does in this situation and find out if there’s a better way.” Mark Richt in his 15th out-of-touch season with Georgia, the last 8 now of which he has slept through.

“I’m going to spend some time just seeing what everybody else in the country does in this situation and find out if there’s a better way.” Mark Richt says now in his 15th out-of-touch season with Georgia – the last 8 now of which he has slept through.

Why is it every year that Mark Richt says that he is now finally going to try to find out what other teams do?

The stubborn bastard.

We pay him over $ 4 million dollars a year for this bullshit.

Gator Bowl, here we come.

Mark Richt will say how great it is we are playing in his 15th in a row, meaningless bowl game.

NOT ONCE.

Not once, has he had us in a single meaningful bowl game – let alone won one.

All this talent.

All these great players, and he insists on his bullshit prayer buddy, Greyson Lambert this year when all of us wanted, want and will want Brice Ramsey – who will quarterback in the NFL.  Greyson damn Lambert sure as hell will NOT.

I do not know how Brice Ramsey puts up with it.

Good on Jacob Park for leaving – even if he ruined his career in so doing.  I saw a Podunk JUCO for him but he is not on roster.

I am so tired of all this shit.

THIS BLOG chronicles daily for years now what we should be doing and this dumbshit coach, always does the opposite.

Where are all the Mark Richt Apologists ?

HIDING ?

Why did Brian Schottenheimer make such a fuss just before Mark Richt named this prayer circle non-quarterback LOSER about hating game managers, and since Mark Richt has gagged him ?

BECAUSE BRIAN SCHOTTENHEIMER DOES NOT WANT GREYSON FRIQIN’ LAMBERT STARTING.

That is why.

“I’d like to ask Brian Schottenheimer why Ramsey isn’t the starter, and what, since Ramsey isn’t the starter, is the thinking behind playing him in one first-half series, regardless of what happens before and taking him out after, again, regardless of how he plays.”

These are ALL Mark Richt decisions.  Brian Schottenheimer does NOT want prayer circle boy Greyson Lambert as his QB.  He made this abundantly clear just before Mark Richt TOLD YOU and not me that Brian Schottenheimer wants Greyson Lambert there.  In fact, Schotty made it totally clear that he abhors game mangers as his QB.

Mark Richt ?

Lives for it.

“As things currently stand, this isn’t going to work. Not against Alabama. Or at Tennessee. Maybe not next weekend when Steve Spurrier returns to Sanford Stadium. Georgia’s offense, with Nick Chubb and all, can’t get the Bulldogs to the SEC Championship and beyond. Not with the look it has in the passing game and on third downs. No way. I’m not the only one saying it. Mark Richt did, too, following Georgia’s boring, way-too-close-than-it-should-have-been (again) 31-14 win over Vanderbilt.” Fletcher Page Augusta Chronicle —- Mark Richt response : “At the level it’s at right now? Fletcher Page: As it stands, UGA’s offense can’t get Bulldogs where they need to go

Mark Richt response :       “At the level it’s at right now? Probably not”

“Lambert’s throws on football’s crucial, converting downs weren’t close, failing to move the chains when faced with distances of nine, six and six yards.

A near interception thrown into double coverage in the second quarter had seemingly everybody calling for backup Brice Ramsey to take over.

This can’t keep happening. The running backs can’t do it all — can’t keep saving the day.

Because against Alabama, with a defense that held Wisconsin to fewer than two yards a carry, and Tennessee team that [had then could not hold on against] Oklahoma Saturday you can bet there will be plenty  of third downs with distances of nine, six and six.

I’d like to ask Brian Schottenheimer why Ramsey isn’t the starter, and what, since Ramsey isn’t the starter, is the thinking behind playing him in one first-half series, regardless of what happens before and taking him out after, again, regardless of how he plays.

Quite frankly, Richt and Schottenheimer aren’t doing Lambert any favors by running Ramsey in for a scripted series when games are close. It’s especially not helping when Lambert hasn’t completed a pass for a quarter and a half and Ramsey hits his first two.

Because when it’s not working we all start wondering what might work better.

And right now, Ramsey hasn’t done much wrong. And he has former play caller and quarterback savant Mike Bobo’s next-in-line billing with a strong arm and the right narrative to make everybody feel good about him taking over post-Hutson Mason.

Speaking of, Ramsey almost took Mason’s job last season. It was after the loss to Florida, when the offense wasn’t working.

Is it going to take another loss for Richt and Schottenheimer to get this right?”

Darrell Huckaby 9/13/2015 Can Anybody Here Play Quarterback? Lastly, if anybody has better linebackers than we do, I don’t want to play them, because we couldn’t move the ball against us. Our quarterback isn’t good enough.

If Georgia didn’t have a quarterback problem before the 60 lackluster minutes of offensive football in Nashville Saturday, they should.  Georgia will not win the Southeastern Conference with the quarterback play we have seen the first two weeks of the season.  Lambert has not been very good at all—this from a person who is often accused of being a Mark Richt apologist.  And Coach Shotty has done a poor job of opening up the offense.  If we keep this up our running backs are going to get killed.  It doesn’t take a rocket scientist—or aeronautical engineer (explain to me, again, please, the reasoning behind that last pooch kick against Georgia Tech in  November)–to stack the box and slow down the run.

Translation.  Georgia is about to be in deep do-do if things don’t improve under center in a hurry.  We couldn’t get into an offensive rhythm of any kind against the team that lost to a team with red towels on their helmets.  You just don’t explain that away.  Surprise.  I am being critical.  Yes, I am, and there is a lot of room for criticism in Lambert’s first two starts.

I was shocked when Mark Richt, who has been loyal to a fault to dues-paying quarterbacks (Do the names Joe Coz, Joe T., or Hudson Mason ring a bell?) turned the handing-the-ball off duties over to a mercenary who had been on campus for  about six weeks.
Yes, I am worried about this season getting away from us in a hurry.

Enough doom and gloom over the quarterback and the offensive schemes—or lack thereof.  I think they have been poor, but that’s all I have to say about that.
We could have been looking at 17-17 late very, very, very easy.
Lastly, if anybody has better linebackers than we do, I don’t want to play them, because we couldn’t move the ball against us. Our quarterback isn’t good enough.

“Lambert the Virginia transfer came out winging throwing on 4 of his first 5 plays.  Not promisingly so.  His first pass thudded to the ground like a 55-foot fastball.  He threw well behind tight end Jeb Blazevich after that…a 3rd down sack ended that drive.  Lambert who was asked to throw only 12 times in the Georgia opener had been but a facilitator.”

Well Justin, Brice Ramsey’s pass to Malcolm Mitchell was a catch – credit their safety for knocking it out of his hands.

Got it ?

Brice Ramsey was a LOT better than Greyson Lambert.

Another super ultra talented Mark Richt team with bad quarterback, guaranteeing loss after loss

Another season of loss after loss as a direct result because Mark Richt is stubborn as hell, a non-Christian trait.

It’s sad to read what Mark Richt said about it.

He has no intention of doing anything about his lousy QB.

Brice Ramsey’s throw to Malcolm Mitchell was perfect.  A completion.  Give credit to the Safety coming over and knocking it out of his hands.

Mark Richt ?

Puts sorry ass loser devout Christian Greyson Lambert back in right after that pass.

That pass was just what the doctor ordered.

But, Greyson Lambert goes in to take a knee.

This has to be frustrating for Brice Ramsey.  There is nothing he can do.  Mark Richt pulled this shit all last year.  He did the same in 2009.  He did the same as long as he could in 2006.

When he said he did not know who the better quarterback was, I seem to be the only person who was not surprised.

And, I certainly stated it correctly last night saying that Mark Richt deflated the ball.  He is clueless on game strategy.

Mark Richt sees this guy as his Starting Quarterback, and I am QUITE CERTAIN that Brian Schottenheimer does NOT.

How long can good Bulldogs’ fans put up with this ?

Do you have to have the loss after loss certain ?  Shameful with all these great players we have that Mark Richt would play favorites.

Again.

There is no article – none – which says other than that which is presented on this blog.

Only you are all saying it AFTER I did.

We’re so good. But, Mark Richt freezes his own field goal kicker with inexplicable long time out, and his chosen one at QB played like shit, again. He has now beat # 125 ULM & # 77 Vandie, but he will NEVER beat Alabama twice with him, as UGA moves back to # 9 – no thanks to Starting QB who fumbled both games so far, went 0-7 to begin the game and 100 % is not getting the job done – like his boss Mark Richt isn’t too. Passing Offense # 100 this year, just like it was last year with his bullshit starter Hutson damn Mason. Mark Richt’s quarterbacks did not throw a TD pass.

Mark Richt said at half time, when he put Greyson Lambert back in to take the knee : “That’s by Plan.  We do that.”  He puts Brice Ramsey in, and yanks him back out, while it is clear our passing offense will never get the job done to beat Alabama twice, Florida, Auburn, South Carolina, Missouri, Georgie tek, vols and whomever our lousy not meaningful bowl game opponent will be. And we damn sure ain’t making no play-offs with him.

For the game, we were 4 for 13 on 3rd down conversions because our QB cough cough can not hack it.

We have so much talent on our team.  We’re so good.

All-America Jordan Jenkins dominated the game as 6 times he tackled hapless # 77 Vandie behind the line, and 2 of those sacks.

Mark Richt’s special teams gave up a pooch kick with 4:33 remaining which # 77 Vandie recovered only losing to us 24-14 with the ball at our 8-yard line threatening to pull within 3 with all 3 of their time-outs remaining, while Mark Richt proved once again his clock mismanagement wasting his time-outs in this game, again, including freezing his own kicker.

For the entire game, Greyson Lambert never did go deep – nothing down field.

He now averages 141 yards per game passing against # 125 Louisiana-Monroe and # 77 Vandie, yet by design Brice Ramsey gets one series where he always looks better.

It was glaring how much Greyson Lambert is holding back his teammates.

He should go to Mark Richt and insist he play Brice Ramsey.

By the time, he figures that out, it will be too late.

Mark Richt freezes his own field goal kicker with inexplicable long time out, and his chosen one at QB played like shit, again.

Jake Ganus intercepted in the end zone, and then  Dominick Sanders intercepted them and went 88-yards for the final score.  Reggie Wilkerson also made an interception for us.

Greyson Lambert was bailed-out on his fumble last week when Nick Chubb pounced on it and this week by Greg Pyke who recovered the Greyson Lambert fumble.

The worst play of the game was Greyson Lambert’s high school pass downfield toward the end zone which was right to their Safety with the score 7-3.  Greyson Lambert was throwing to Reggie Davis in double coverage, and Oren Burks simply had the ball right in his breadbasket and failed to catch it.  Sony Michel took the ball in on the next play, to bail-out lackluster Greyson Lambert.

Greyson Lambert is # 99 in the nation in passing, despite us having played cupcakes # 125 Louisiana-Monroe and # 77 Vandie -who lost to Western Kentucky last week.

Isaiah McKenzie had his 3rd punt return for TD along with one kick-off return for TD.

We had 10 penalties for minus 92 yards, as we continuously prove what great talent we have and how poorly coached.  Hell, we were even off-sides on a damn kick-off, if you can believe that.  Mark Richt tried to sit on the ball.  Mark Richt tried to deflate the ball. But, Nick Chubb got us out of there taking us all the way to the Vandie 45 yard line, or I swear no matter how many great players we have, Mark Richt will find a way to lose when he finally plays anyone any good at all.  Vandie had not beaten a ranked opponent in 6 years’ time.

Nick Chubb gassed from a 68-yard romp sees Greyson Lambert stay in the play to hurry-up and hand it to him 4 seconds later.  We’re dumbshits, especially at QB and head coach.

Chris Mayes had a stellar effort.  Aaron Davis and Quincy Mauger were great.  Leonard Pope had half a sack and broke up a pass deep downfield in coverage, really looking great this year compared to last year. Chuks Amaechi had a sack.  And, Rico McGraw did well when he got in there.  Reggie Davis was awesome. Malcolm Mitchell caught everything thrown his way.  Jeb Blazevich earned a B for his performance again this week. Not sure what’s going on there. Terry Godwin  and Jackson Harris both got an A again this week, and this week, Jackson Harris’ catch was inbounds that’s because Brice (Russ) Ramsey threw it.   D’Andre Walker, Davin Bellamy, and DaQuan Hawkins all got after Vandie’s QB Johnny McCrary a dual-threat QB from Cedar Grove who had 11 offers.  Both Quarterbacks sucked tonight.  Neither got the job done.  Lorenzo Carter got kicked out of the game at the onset for taking his head off.

The game in Music City is done with no pass downfield except the 1 which should have been intercepted right after he fumbled again, leaving a bad taste in everyone’s mouth and setting us up for our annual pothole along the way, if we ever play anyone any good at all – because Mark Richt just never gets us to a meaningful bowl game, let alone wins such.

Vandie loaded the box and still Greyson Lambert could do nothing.

Mark Richt’s Quarterbacks against # 77 Vandie, did not throw a TD Pass.

Game Manager ? Classic City Today.com Jay Black “We still don’t know what Georgia has at quarterback. We don’t know if Lambert is a star that only Brian Schottenheimer can see or if he’s going to bomb in the SEC. We don’t even know if he is a “game manager.” Frankly he didn’t manage the game well at Virginia, with 11 interceptions and 10 TDs. If he was a “game manager” he’d probably still be in Charlottesville.”

“Then there’s football and the ultimate code word: “Game manager.”

“If a quarterback gets pegged as a “game manager,” it means many things, few of them good.”

“Can’t win us a game.”

“No talent.”

“We better run the ball.”

“Safe.”

“Don’t screw this up.”

“God I hope we have a good defense.”

“We better have a good defense. Oh and we better run the ball.”

“Evidently it didn’t take Georgia’s new quarterback long to become a “game manager.” One game, 8-for-12, 141 yards, two TDs, no picks and few memories.”

“That’s a “game manager” special right there.”

“No quarterback strives to be a “game manager.” It’s like meeting a seven year old who dreams of selling auto insurance when he grows up, but things happen.”

“Everybody wants to throw for 500 (yards) and five touchdowns, but as long as we’re getting the win, that’s kind of my job.” Greyson Lambert.

Some can.  Some cannot.  I know this : Greyson Lambert will NOT beat Alabama twice this season, Auburn, Florida, Georgie tek yellowjackets, vols, Missouri, and whomever our opponent is in our meaningless bowl game as a direct result hereof.

And, he won’t be taking us to the Play-Offs – not that Mark Richt has ever had or ever will have us on the Big Stage at the end of any season in a Big Bowl Game everyone watching us – let alone won one nor ever will.

College football has dynamic quarterbacks.  Brice Ramsey might be one.  Greyson Lambert, isn’t.

Mark Richt has made 6 proven mistakes choosing whom he considers his quarterback :

1.He told us that Cam Newton is only a Tight End and would not be considered as our QB.

2.He told us that Nick Marshall is not as good a QB as Hutson Mason and would only play db.

3.He told us that Joe Tereshinski III is a better QB than Matthew Stafford.

4.He told us that Joe Cox, chronic shoulder and flu Okie State better QB than Zach Mettenberger whom I called for pre-game to Start.

5.He told us that Hutson Mason is a better QB than Brice Ramsey, Jacob Park and Faton Bauta.

6.He with this bad experience as a backdrop tells us Greyson Lambert is a better QB than Brice Ramsey.

Mark Richt was wrong on all 6 of these choices for his QB.  He has been proven to have been wrong on all 6.

What really has happened, is that daily now, every Bulldogs’ Football Fan has admitted that I am right.  Every.  All.

Can you imagine how many times Patrick Garbin and I have slugged it out on this ?  Patrick Garbin and I have gone round and round about this.  Now, clearly, Patrick Garbin is finally agreeing with me right down the line.  My every point, Patrick Garbin finally now espouses as his own.

And, all Mark Richt talks about is getting to The SEC Championship Game in Atlanta, and attempting to control what we say and even control what we think.

Surely, even he tacitly now then, is agreeing with me as well – or, he would not be trying to censor me and my every thought – the same as every Bulldogs’ Football Fan – whether you want to admit it in public or not.

Patrick Garbin, Tim Tucker and DJ Shockley agree with me.

Grades for Georgia Bulldogs’ starting quarterback Greyson Lambert : C –

He did not do a damn thing.  He has a far better arm than Hutson Mason, but if Mark Richt thinks that Greyson Lambert, Joe Tereshinski III, Joe Cox, and Hutson Mason are Starting Quarterbacks for The Georgia Bulldogs, I have news for Mark Richt.

I give Greyson Lambert no more than a : C –

Brian Jones of Today’s U says Brice Ramsey was better than Greyson Lambert, which is what I saw too – in person. Brian Jones says GL is NOT STELLAR, did not complete ANY 3rd Down Completions for 1st down, was 9-yards short on 1 such, and just before Mark Richt said he did not want to play anymore, GL fumbled the shotgun snap because he was not looking when he called the snap himself, then on consecutive plays had the ball batted down at the line of scrimmage – forcing the throws. That’s it for GL on 3rd down attempts against cupcake # 121 team Louisiana-Monroe. Greyson Lambert is NOT STELLAR, uninspiring, dull, lackluster, unimpressive, tame, monotonous, bland, lifeless, unexciting, uninteresting, undistinguished, dreary, flat, indifferent, mediocre, unimposing, insignificant, insipid, nothing special, nothing noteworthy – like his coach.

I confess I know nothing about Today’s U, nor their WebPages with expired credentials, but Brian Jones, I certainly know this asshole.  He writes for Bleacher Report, is a HOMER, a Chuck Dowdle, a bullshit artist of the highest order, and a person who firmly believes in censoring anything and anyone disagreeing with him.  He is a small person.  I have read his bullshit for less than a decade of my 4 decades of posting on the Internet here in Atlanta he has read mine.  Field Street Forum, who never seems to give credit to his sources, unlike this blog, has a URL Link but it goes back to Field Street Forum.

What’s up with your WebPages Today’s U that Internet Explorer reports your certificate is out of date, Brian Jones ?

At the end of your article, you state that Mark Richt will not hesitate to replace Greyson Lambert with Brice Ramsey.  That’s bullshit.  Mark Richt is more stubborn and stuck in his ways than you are Brian Jones, you freaking little moron.

Why even think that ?

Mark Richt has every intention of playing Greyson Lambert only as his Starter.  He will NEVER change; it is who he is.  Greyson Lambert is vocal here in Athens about being a Christian.  That sits well with Mark Richt.  Very well.  They’ve prayed together.  The coach and player who pray together, stay together.

“But he will need to be great moving forward because if not, Richt won’t hesitate to make a switch and give Ramsey a shot.”

In fact, Greyson Lambert when he was on he field, was 3 of 12 on 3rd Down Conversions – all by the running backs.  None by pass.  He was lackluster.  He was unimpressive.

Sure, Mark Richt will hesitate.  He is stubborn as shit – not a Christian trait.

Mark Richt has lost 10 games to unranked not Top 25 teams time of game or for the season after 2007. Here all 10 are

Mark Richt has lost 10 games to unranked not Top 25 teams time of game or for the season after 2007.

Here all 10 are :

(1) LOST Okie State unranked AP Poll for 2009 season

(2) LOST vols unranked AP and Coaches’ Polls for 2009 season

(3) LOST Kentucky unranked AP and Coaches’ Polls for 2009 season

(4) LOST Missy State unranked time of game 2010 both AP & Coaches’ Polls

(8) LOST Nebraska unranked time of game both AP & Coaches’ Polls 2013

(9) LOST South Carolina unranked AP & Coaches’ Polls for 2014 season

(10) LOST Florida unranked AP & Coaches’ Polls 2014

If anything, we’ve gotten worse against unranked teams the more recent we look at it.  We’re trending toward losing more of these type games against unranked opponents.

Double-whammy

No damn good against Top 25

Lose to unranked teams in addition, 10 losses to unranked teams after 2007.

So, in addition to having lost 23 of the latest 34 games against teams RANKED Top 25 for the season AP or Coaches’ Polls after 2007, Mark Richt has ALSO lost 10 more games to teams unranked Top 25 time of game or for the season AP or Coaches’ Polls after 2007.

The idea behind the fact that they list games against FCS (1-AA) teams is that they do not count for FBS (1-A) teams, unless they lose.  If you did that for Mark Richt vs Top 25 AP or Coaches’ Polls for the season after 2007, you would have to add in these 10 horrid bad losses to unranked teams time of game or for the season AP or Coaches’ Poll.

How has Mark Richt done against ranked teams after 2007 ?

Shitty.

He’s lost 23 of the latest 34 vs ranked teams for the season after 2007 and he’s lost 10 games to unranked teams time of game or for the season AP or Coaches’ Poll after 2007 in addition.

Only at a cushy damn job where the Christians tell us this is acceptable, would the coach be paid over $ 4 million dollars a year for these results against ranked teams for the # 11 program in Wins All-Time.

“Steve Upshaw writes: Mark Richt has publicly stated a dominant offensive line isn’t necessary to win big. He said they won all those games at FSU without having great offensive lines. The Seminoles do not play in the rugged SEC. You have stated several times how the OL is a perennial problem with the Dogs during the Richt era. As written in your most recent posting, once again there did not seem to be an emphasis on getting top O linemen signed. Nine of the Top 10 and 17 of 20 top OL prospects in Georgia chose to leave the state. It’s pointless to despair over Mark Richt. He is who he is, and that is a man who will never change nor adapt while everyone else around him is in constant adjustment mode and winning championships. So Dog fans, let’s get ready for another 10-win season. I love my team and school. That’s why I’ll be there again in section 137, row 60 hoping against all hope we’ll finally witness something different in 2015 — but I doubt it.”

So Dog fans, let’s get ready for another 10-win season.  I love my team and school.  That’s why I’ll be there again in section 137, row 60 hoping against all hope we’ll finally witness something different in 2015 — but I doubt it.”

Junkyard Mail: Sweater Guy, hiring Hines Ward, Dawgs underachieving, recruiting, basketball and more! (Updated)

Bill King AJ-C replies :

“As I previously wrote, one of the areas I was most concerned about was offensive line, more with future seasons in mind than 2015, since those guys generally take a year or two to develop. And while Georgia did pretty well here in the latest recruiting class, it bothered me they didn’t really seem to put top priority on signing offensive linemen until after new coach Rob Sale was hired last month, when they suddenly launched on a frantic quest for prospects in that area. I think you may have touched on why this has chronically been the case under Richt — he’s convinced himself that a merely adequate OL is good enough”

“I really felt bad for those guys,” Sale said. “… Just like anybody, they’ve put in the work and the effort. Those guys were disappointed for sure.” New OL coach Rob Sale shares today he was about to put in all these back-up OL whom Mark Richt promised family then said shit I do not want to play anymore when Referee said he was “suspending” game, not ending it.

“I really felt bad for those guys,” Sale said. “… Just like anybody, they’ve put in the work and the effort. Those guys were disappointed for sure.”

Mark Richt ran to the middle of the field when the Referee announced he was suspending the game, and no.  No, I do not want to continue.  Let me talk to the other coach.  Hang on.

Now, it is revealed that in fact new Offensive Line Coach Rob Sale was quite disappointed that he could not play ANY of his back-up OL, and that he was looking forward to the last ten minutes to do just that.  We do not have a quarterbacks’ coach to ask how disappointed he was that Brice Ramsey got only 2 passes against a cupcake.  Brice Ramsey looked better out there than unimpressive game manager Greyson Lambert.  OC Brian Schottenheimer HATES game manager quarterbacks – not what he wants, AT ALL he states repeatedly to the press.  How is he going to keep Brice Ramsey happy ?

Dyshon Sims did not get to play a single snap against # 121 team, cupcake, Louisiana-Monroe.

Kendall Baker did not get to play a single snap against # 121 team, cupcake, Louisiana-Monroe.

Only 6 OL were able to get in the game before Mark Richt tacitly told them all go screw themselves, he just does not want to play football any more, in the 1st game of the season.

ROSTER MISMANAGEMENT

NOT PREPARING TEAM TO BE NATIONAL CHAMPIONS

HAPPY BEING MEDIOCRE AND LOSING, to quote Todd Gurley II

Mark Richt should well know that he cannot begin to beat 8 teams he’d have to beat this 2015-2016 season who all 8 got votes in this Tuesday’s AP Poll (which found Mark Richt dropping in the polls because other teams behind Mark Richt in the AP Poll played better against better opponent than Mark Richt did not even want to play at all, nor allow his back-ups the precious playing time snaps they desired.

Lamont Gaillard did not get to play a single snap against # 121 team, cupcake, Louisiana-Monroe.

Mark Richt promised OL recruits that he would play them if they worked hard at it.  They did, and he did not.

Patrick Allen is one of the top OT in the country.  He got no snaps either.
Sam Madden and Sage Hardin both have worked their butts off and got no snaps as well at OT.
Jake Edwards got no snaps vs cupcake ULM yet CMR recruited him here several years ago.

Aulden Bynum at OT did not get in yet CMR recruited him 3 years’ ago.

These are the only snaps these guys get for all the hard work they turn in for Mark Richt who damn sure does not appreciate them.  Tells them family then does not give a shit about them.  This cupcake game might be their only snaps in their entire career here.  I look at those snaps and PT all the time, because I was  a walk-on.  These guys I listed here are all Scholarship Recruits Mark Richt promised as family he would play.
More lies.
That is all.
And, we will not be prepared for the games when we need the back-ups.
OL Coach Rob Sale may as well go ahead and call Mark Richt a dumbass to the press.
Mark Richt mismanages his ROSTER every year.  How else does the guy with the same Average Recruiting class as the nc, never even get us to a damn meaningful bowl game 15 seasons now ?
By mismanaging his roster.
Mark Richt does not give a shit about these guys.

Hutson Mason says about Mark Richt today : “as a coach, he is still sharp. He has been in the game for 20-odd years, and has handed off a lot of the duties to Coach Mike Bobo and now Coach Brian Shottenheimer, but still understands the new era of football coming about in spread football” “His coaching method is not grabbing a kid by his facemask and cussing him out. His teaching method and what he believes in based on the principles of his faith” “I think you just have to understand what kid you are coaching. Some kids you got to kind of kick them in the butt a little bit to get them going, maybe motivate them a little more with yelling” Hutson Mason contradicting himself.

Hutson Mason, sir, you are contradicting yourself.
