Greyson Lambert said he does not mind the tag “Game Manager” but Brian Schottenheimer last week said he HATED IT.
All the DISNEYdawgs.com are trying to put on their game face about the unimpressive performance by Greyson Lambert in his 1st Bulldog game, but our 8 teams who got votes yesterday in the AP Poll this season we have to play ALL LOVED IT and they remember all the way back to last week when Brian Schottenheimer was so explicit about hating having that type of quarterback.
Absolutely abhors having that kind of quarterback
Not what he wants.
Not that which will work to beat the 8 teams we’ll have to play this season who all 8 earned votes in the AP Poll on yesterday.
“Greyson Lambert doesn’t mind game manager reputation,” according to Marc Weiszer / DogBytes | Athens Banner-Herald 8 hours ago.
Greyson Lambert is NOT ON THE SAME PAGE WITH BRIAN SCHOTTENHEIMER.
“I hate the term manage the game. We’re not looking for that. We want a guy that can go out and make plays as well. Certainly there’s going to be a lot of vertical elements to what we do. At the end of the day their job is to move the team and score points. You want to see a guy that can move the team. I think we feel very good that we’re going to be able to run the football. We want guys that can throw completions, but also when the opportunity presents itself, to push it down the field and make plays. We have good skill players, so certainly they don’t have to make the perfect throw every time.” Brian Schottenheimer said to AJ-C just last week.
I cannot be the only person who remembers Brian Schottenheimer is NOT LOOKING FOR THAT.
Marc Weiszer over at Dogbytes on Athens Banner-Herald, where they want money to read this bullshit “news” not even mentioning his coach hates it ( Jeez Louise! ) obviously does not remember what his coach said just last week.
Let me see now. I am reporting that the new appointed by Mark Richt Starting QB says today that
“Greyson Lambert doesn’t mind game manager reputation,” but I do not even remember that Brian Schottenheimer hates THE TERM GAME MANAGER and is not what he wants AT ALL.
Wake up Marc Weiszer ! And, how does it feel that your newspaper thinks they can charge for your “news” such as it is ?
