Did anyone notice that no one said Ohio State, Stanford, Iowa, Notre Dame or Florida State deserved to be in the 4-Team Play-Offs ? I certainly noticed. I called for this 4-Team Play-Off Format 15 years’ ago and have maintained throughout that it would be what we would have. Here we are. See a problem with 4-Team Play-Off that a 5th team deserved to be playing New Year’s Eve ? No. No one does.

Texas A&M is the only SEC team to lose so far.
I think this new 4-Team Play-Off format has increased the interests in bowl games this season again, just as it did last season; and for a proud football program such as our own, I am just so damn glad that we will be able to get back on the national stage at the end of ANY damn season once again as we did 15 times before Coach Kirby Smart’s predecessor got here – both teams ranked at the top of the Final AP Poll.
The ACC is really doing poorly in its bowl games, again !

The SEC has the Best Bowl Record again this season as we always do at 4-1.

Today The SEC has 2 bowl games with both Florida and the vols playing. They neither had very good years, but thanks to us – both – had better years than they should’ve. The SEC again has lost only the Texas A&M bowl game, and has the most teams playing in bowl games this season with 10 as there are 3 conferences with 10 bowl teams.
However, The SEC was going to have 11 Bowl Teams until Missouri declined a bowl game which they earned on scholastic performance ahead of Nebraska and Minnesota both also 5-7 as Missouri. Nebraska and Minnesota won their bowl games. Dumbass Missouri. It is a Bowl Win, and a Bowl Game dimwitted Mizzou, and it would have given The SEC 11 Bowl Games one more than every Conference !
Well, it’s a BIG DAY tomorrow with the morning bowl game at the Gator Bowl at noon against Penn State and then at 8pm SEC action for the men’s basketball team at 8 pm, both on EPSN channels. Noon ESPN Channel 846 and 8 p.m. tomorrow night ESPNU Channel 883 at Florida. In fact, BOTH are AT FLORIDA tomorrow all day.
