Nick Chubb relentless 222 yards 2 TD rushing even with Tar Heels stacking the box with 9 some plays. Isaiah McKenzie game of his life including 122 yards receiving 1 TD perfect game. Our Loudest crowd ever anywhere so much that my right ear still hurts.
Kirby tried to put us asleep for 2 and half hours then put Jacob Eason back in DOWN double-digits 3rd Quarter winding down and for an hour Kirby let him play then took him back out. Lol.
Greyson Lambert 54 yards passing -0- TD passes.
Brian Herrien 59 yards and 1 TD rushing told you he plays Sundays.
Raucous crowd at Dome sees Kirby win % go to 100 % yelling and cheering our guys on as if he one of our players. Awesome !
Comeback WIN for Jacob Eason brought-in with TONS of pressure against a Defense which SHUT-DOWN Greyson Lambert and sacked him 3 times too losing by double-digits late in 3rd Quarter.
Costly win for us with so many injuries.
Jacob Eason provides change of pace and our Offense all of a sudden is unpredictable and dynamic – it was so exciting at the Dome. 1-1 at Dome now for us in this Chick-Fil-a Kick-Off Classic Leather Helmet # 1 for UGA.
Every FRESHMAN played. Kirby ran them ragged with his Depth and played everyone. Our Defense held-up very well. Bring on vols Ole Miss Florida after beating # 22 North Carolina a RANKED TEAM we beat. One likely to BE RANKED for the season too. A Bowl Team we beat.
Kirby gets an A. Nick Chubb A. Isaiah McKenzie A. Jacob Eason A. Defense A. Malkom Parrish A. Roquan Smith A. Natrez Patrick A. Aaron Davis A. Mo Smith A. Lorenzo Carter A. David Marshall A. Juwan Briscoe A. Davin Bellamy A. D’Andre Walker A. Coaching A. Brian Herrien A. Greyson Lambert C.
Greyson Lambert gets a C because he just sat back there and did nothing. I care not if we are in the right play or wrong play, as THAT is unimportant when in the RIGHT PLAY Greyson Lambert was LOSING by double-digits and had to be bailed-out by an A performance by Jacob Eason who CLEARLY should have started. We run away with this game with Jacob Eason the starter and Greyson Lambert the solid back-up quarterback whom we could have brought-in with a big lead and let him get sacked 3 times unable or unwilling to TRY even to get the ball off behind an Offensive Line who GOT THE DAMN JOB DONE tonight. Instead the OL gets 4 sacks 3 of which they did not deserve. He just stood back there the longest time all 3.
Kirby will have a press conference Monday at Noon georgiadogs.com where he will say he has seen the tape and announces Jacob Eason as the Starter for the remainder of the season. Alabama will likely make the SAME PRESS ANNOUNCEMENT that Nick Saban is STARTING A TRUE FRESHMAN TOO ! Neither Nick Saban nor Kirby have ANY CHOICE.
Kirby is pissed-off every time the press asks him about the QB rotation for the up-coming game with 85 scholarship players and these 2 BOTH making Kirby LOOK BAD. Kirby handled this incorrectly by (1) not getting Jacob Eason ANY snaps with # 1 unit all Spring (2) by demoting Greyson Lambert with 3 weeks prior to tonight (3) by therefore not having his Starting QB prepared for the game because he MISSED 2 of the last 3 weeks prior to kick-off getting the # 1 snaps as # 1 QB with the # 1 unit he then had to go out and play with (4) by then thereafter ALL THAT demoting Jacob Eason who did just FINE Kirby. He did a LOT better than just fine Kirby. He kicked-ass and you KNOW IT.
Now, get over this B.S. about the press showing you up Kirby and just name the better QB as the God Damn Starter Kirby. The OTHER QB in this QB controversy is at best a serviceable back-up whom you could have brought in with a big lead. You played right into North Carolina’s hopes and dreams that they could with Greyson Lambert and NOT Jacob Eason as you saw, stack the box against Greyson Lambert.
I told you we’d score 33 pts and win AND that it would TAKE THAT to win. On target for my 11-3 or even 12-2.
We run our record to 17-12-2 all-time against North Carolina with their average # 30 recruiting ranking to our # 9 average Scout.com recruiting ranking average for the 5 years with redshirt making each team up.
