“Hugh Freeze head football coach Ole Miss has nobody to blame but himself. Whatever possible NCAA Violations Ole Miss committed under his watch are Hugh Freeze’s Responsibility. And Hugh Freeze needs to own-up to that.” CBSsports.com Tom Fornelli says.

http://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/ole-miss-coach-hugh-freeze-on-his-recruiting-class-it-was-a-penalty/

“In a 154-page response to the NCAA Ole Miss announced that it had self-imposed the loss of 11 total scholarships in football over a four-year period from 2015-18 including a reduction of three initial scholarships in each of its next three recruiting classes – which would allow the school to sign a maximum of 22 players in each class.”

http://www.espn.com/college-sports/story/_/id/15766359/ole-miss-self-imposes-double-digit-reduction-football-scholarships

“The Ole Miss football program was accused of 13 rules violations including eight that were determined to be Level I which are the most severe.”

Nine of the 13 allegations levied against the Rebels occurred under current coach Hugh Freeze including four Level I violations two Level II violations and three Level III violations.” ESPN Mark Schlabach

Mark Bradley AJ-C DawgNation ranks UGA # 14 on his preseason football poll 2017 in today’s AJ-C Page C1 continued C12. He ALWAYS takes shots at us. Is he really DawgNation ? Wouldn’t Mark Bradley be anti-DawgNation ? “Once again the Georgia Bulldogs appear to be the class of The SEC East. Once again we wonder if the results will reflect as much.”

Mark Bradley drones on : “Kirby Smart’s first season yielded a series of bewildering losses and one key question : Is the CAREER ASSISTANT up to the task ?  The return of Nick Chubb and Sony Michel and a banner recruiting class have spawned high hopes.  THOSE AREN’T NEW EITHER.”

You are not telling us a new story either Mark Bradley.

It’s the same old tired storyline from you Mark Bradley when you write about The Georgia Bulldogs.

Something new Mark Bradley ?

No.  I did not think you thought what you’ve written today was any different than any other article on us you’ve EVER written.

Ever.  Ever.

You putting shit on our beloved Georgia Bulldogs Mark Bradley boy telling us that Hope Springs Eternal when we ALL know all of us that all you do Mark Bradley is put us down.

Smart ass.

One would think reading his pompous ramblings of superiority that this guy who parts his hair down the damn middle thinks he’s BETTER than The Georgia Bulldogs.

But he’s NOT.

And never has been.

Well he’s been a has been.

That’s about it.

He just thinks he is better than The Georgia Bulldogs – which he’s not.

Mark Bradley is a smart-ass pig-mucker who has NEVER AMOUNTED to a damn thing in life because he doesn’t know dog shit about sports save MAYBE basketball.

And he doesn’t write about basketball often so he doesn’t give it away that he only knows maybe college basketball.

Football ?

College Football ?

Mark Bradley is a God Damn neophyte.

And FULL of HIMSELF on top of that.

If he has a URL Link to it or not I could care and am not going to go look for it.  He’s ALWAYS WRONG on college football anyway.

Stick this up your God Damn puckered asshole Mark Bradley.

Pontificate about that.

Otherwise piss-off.

Georgia Softball lost 3 of 4 in California Tournament returning in the Friday nightcap to give-up 7 more unearned runs losing to Notre Dame with 3 more errors by us.

On the season now 13-3 overall and 1-3 in the California Tournament.  On the season now Georgia Softball has given-away 38 runs only 17 of which were earned runs.

We have given-away 21 unearned runs in 16 games mostly on errors in our infield on the season for Lu Harris-Champer’s gals on the season so far.

The 7 unearned runs last night was the record for the season so far we given-away losing 7-10 as a result.

We’ve made some changes in the line-up.  It’s a long season.  We’ve got one more game in the California Tournament today then we can get back home and try to figure-out how to stem all these errors. The errors can NOT continue.

When 21 runs have been given-away on routine outs mostly in the infield of the 38 runs allowed our season is going to be defined by our fielding which is NOT good so far.

2-25-2017

Georgia Softball loses double-header Friday 24 February 2017 to end the undefeated streak at 12-2 on the season against 2 top 25 teams. In the loss to BYU we only gave-up 5 hits but only got 4 ourselves. And in the loss to UCLA our second baseman and shortstop made their 4th and 6 errors of this early season already unnerving our pitching staff who were ROCKED with the LEAD in the last inning. Let’s try some other infielders.

2nd base and shortstop are where you have be SOLID in the field.  You MUST be STRONG up the MIDDLE.  It is unacceptable that we have 10 errors from 2 players in the infield in 12 wins.  That does NOT cut it.

THAT is the mistake Kirby made last year 2016 season in Georgia Bulldogs’ football.  When you have all this talent on your roster and two are totally not doing their job on the field take them OUT put in ANYONE else.

Coaching 101.  Give the other gals a chance.  It sends the message that this is unacceptable.  It also sends the message to the WHOLE TEAM.  Not doing so at this juncture is a mistake in morale.    There are super talented subs sitting there who came-in with great fielding credentials.  We can NOT continue with ALL THESE errors.

You can no longer say we don’t have better shortstops and better second basemen on the roster.

Anyone can AVERAGE an error per win from their 2 middle infielders.  It’s just Keystone Cops.

“Kirby Smart must prove he’s as good on game day as he is in February recruiting.” USA Today Dan Wolken says. NOW there is a Patrick BRADLEY at the AJ-C DawgNation. God help us all. Tell me there is no nepotism and he’s unrelated – please ? Patrick BRADLEY AJ-C reports USA Today Dan Wolken says as well now : “The Georgia Bulldogs are so far above the rest of that division in terms of talent right now with the players that they’ve got coming back. Give me a break. The expectation for Georgia next year should be winning the East – point blank… period. If they don’t get that done – then I have to seriously question whether Kirby can coach.”

“The Bulldogs took a nice step toward re-establishing dominance of their recruiting borders and closing the talent gap with the likes of Alabama – but the biggest one remains until Smart proves he’s as good on game day as he is in February.”

“Let’s not give Georgia that much of a pass.  If Kirby Smart doesn’t win the East next year he’s a clown. I’m sorry. Point blank. They are so far above the rest of that division in terms of talent right now with the players that they’ve got coming back. Give me a break. The expectation for Georgia next year should be winning the East point blank… period. If they don’t get that done- then I have to seriously question whether Kirby can coach.”  USA Today Dan Wolken said via CBS Atlanta.

OxyContin Oxycodone two doses ? Pain killer. Would be dizzy two doses. 10 mg would be too much for me I am sure. I have no tolerance for poppy. Other symptoms are not expected such as bloodshot eyes from that or Percocet – the same. 50 mg now that would be serious and two of those ? Why say you did and have that negative at Athens Regional ? Trent Thompson get well sir. I wasn’t aware of pain Trent is dealing with.

I am very sorry to hear all of this Trent Thompson sir.  What a promising future.  The family owes it to Trent Thompson to let him speak.  It’s his future.  He said he took two doses.  He is released and that is the best news from this sad story.

Why would anyone no matter what size you are take two doses ?  They are slow-release so if he did take two doses as he told the Sgt then it could be true that 12 hours later they would not be in his system.  And it is consistent with at least some of his behavior early morning this morning Thursday morning if he took the two doses before noon Wednesday.

When I was prescribed this I threw them down the drain after taking one dose for having my wisdom teeth removed in a hospital.  I went toward the bathroom and remember having to throw my head to the side to keep from drowning in the toilet but I had lost significant blood too.

Trent Thompson take care of yourself sir.  And thank you.  I love watching you Trent.  I look forward to all the up-coming good news on you Trent Thompson sir.

SEC Country (NOT AJ-C writers) did a SURVEY today indicating a VAST MAJORITY APPROVAL RATING for Kirby’s job as head coach his 1st season BUT WHAT IF the question was – put RECRUITING to the side – and JUDGE KIRBY just on his COACHING DUTIES 2016 losing to 6-7 Vandie and therefore not even winning SEC Record given the avg # 7 recruiting ranking GIVEN HIM TO WORK WITH ?

Kirby is the BEST RECRUITER in the nation bar none.

On the recruiting trail Kirby was AWESOME our best Bulldogs recruiting class of all-time with 16 ESPN Top 200 players overall in a class of 3300 recruits.  15 of them were ranked in the top 100 of at least one of the top recruiting services 247Sports.com ESPN RecruitingNation or Scout.com.

But the SURVEY question was how did he do “COACHING YEAR ONE.”  Kirby did NEARLY EVERTHING WRONG other than that he could do his 1st coaching job ANYWHERE 2016 as our football coach.

The results were NOT SATISFACTORY.

Do not begin to tell me the results were satisfactory.

YOU can not call it like it is.

You NEVER have been able to.

It makes us WEAKER as a program to HAVE NO EXPECTATIONS.  It’s our # 1 problem and always has been.

Alabama has expectations and we don’t.

How did Kirby do year one in coaching duties other than recruiting ?

But BESIDES RECRUITING how did Kirby ACTUALLY DO his first season coaching ?

  1. Hired Jim Chaney and did not fix that widely criticized on BOTH accounts
  2. Jan 12 to Sept 15 practiced ONLY Greyson Lambert with # 1 unit then threw Eason to fire anyway
  3. Relied on 2 injured running backs when Brian Herrien was healthy better choice for Kirby
  4. Nick Chubb 32 carries for 227 yards game 1 after 3 ligaments surgery and never same after
  5. Never figuring-out who his pitch-and-catch combo was for Jacob Eason to throw to swapping-out this receiver with that one
  6. Giving his top 3 OL signees 2016 Ben Cleveland Chris Barnes and Solomon Kindley 1 snap combined when Kirby’s OL was so obviously tired and ineffective
  7. Kirby was thinking he was playing pass defenders on passing routes on vols’ Hail Mary got no pressure on the QB and did not defend the end zone
  8. Kirby forced the players to go to Jim Chaney instead of Kirby himself fixing that in-game adjustment vs Florida
  9. Kirby forced mutiny by the players holding a players-only meeting not even allowing Kirby in his own damn locker room before Florida
  10. Kirby was trying to control what people think by who he let talk and what he let them say  and made it so that only he can talk.  A coach is supposed to be a communicator.
  11. Kirby was handed the # 7 avg recruiting rankings making-up his team and ended-up the # 66 team at 8-5 by his roster full of talent wasted
  12. Kirby is # 31 on Coaches’ HOT SEAT.com today meaning a hundred coaches did a better job than he his first year.  Say THAT !
  13. Telling Greg McGarity Nov 28 that this is your dream job then not bothering show-up until 12 Jan 6 weeks 4 days later
  14. Stubborn running the ball even vs loaded box even when it was not working
  15. Did not Start Freshman All-America Isaac Nauta until game 5.  Next 2 games not start. Then 2 more Isaac Nauta  didn’t start.  Frankly Kirby I would have thrown to Isaac Nauta on every down as the go-to receiver.
  16. Started William Ham at Kicker going 3 of 7 field goals  and short kick-offs then criticizing Freshman All-America Rodrigo Blankenship
  17. Kirby : “Shaun McGee is going to finish up with us but then he’s going to transfer out.  He may have some academic issues depending on how his grades finish up.  We’re still checking on a couple of classes.  He may not be eligible for us next semester.”  Kirby can’t say that.  NCAA violation
  18. Kirby your antics to the press were a distraction from the time they first asked you who your QB is back in January.  The longer it went on the more stubborn you came across
  19. Kirby’s unwillingness to answer ANY question was adversarial defensive and made you sound mad whenever anyone dared to ask you a tough question
  20. Kirby is a very poor evaluator of talent and cannot really even tell who the better players are
  21. Scholarship Count “NO PROBLEM” Kirby said 4 over for 2017 but Kirby had his RB coach call Toniel Carter Junior December 7 and tell him he’s OUT of scholarships for early enrollment. What his brother and legal guardian told you Kirby was YOU SHOULD HAVE CALLED HIS BROTHER AND TONEIL YOURSELF KIRBY. Kirby you also gave 3 walk-ons a scholarship the week after Toniel SIGNED PAPERS WITH YOU KIRBY and knew you can’t have the kid here early like he wanted to AND LIKE YOU PROMISED HIM KIRBY as a result thereof.

NO ONE CAN SERIOUSLY SAY KIRBY WAS SATISFACTORY YEAR ONE COACHING HERE.

No.  The problem around here as Bulldogs’ fans is that we think anytime some OUTSIDER asks us about our coach that we are supposed to DEFEND HIM rather than tell the truth.

The TRUTH of the matter IS if Kirby can not fix all these GLARING BLUNDERS coaching us 2016 and SOON he will be gone and I will be the one firing him

As I did with his predecessor.

Our FANS have NO EXPECTATIONS.  I certainly DO.

https://www.seccountry.com/georgia/kirby-smart-approval-ratings-02-22-2017

SEC Country – Ken Bradley

That’s nice that so many of us myself included support Kirby and want him to do well.

Now answer the DAMN question.  How did Kirby do his 1st year other than recruiting ?

NOT SATISFACTORY.

THIS is where we disagreed on Mark Richt.  I said he had to go.  I FIRED him.  You said he should NOT have been FIRED.  You made Mark Richt’s job as cushy a damn job as you could possibly make DESPITE Mark Richt JUST LOSING IT starting with kick-off vs Alabama 2008.

I wanted him to care about WINNING again.

You wanted to agree that there was something BESIDES WINNING that was important HERE.

I supported Mark Richt from December 2000 until Alabama game 2008 after which he went from win 4 lose 1 to win only 3 lose 1.

I gave Kirby no throw-away year last year and do not this year either with all this talent around here.  I demand and expect a better COACHING JOB than we got year one.

When you average # 7 recruiting classes every year making up your team you should NOT LOSE to 6-7 Vandie and end-up not even a winning record in The SEC.

Quit trying to CONFUSE that you are a fan of the program with ANSWERING THE QUESTION ASKED.

You really think what Kirby did year one was SATISFACTORY with YOU ?

You’re the problem around here and always have been.  Have some balls.  Have some expectations.  You aren’t going to FIX THIS MESS by whistling in the wind that YOU LOVE KIRBY SUPPORT HIM WANT HIM TO DO WELL and think year one was just GREAT.

It was ANYTHING BUT in EVERYTHING he did 2016 season starting with NOT PREPARING Jacob Eason to be his STARTING QB and then throwing him into the FIRE anyway unprepared.

Demand Kirby not have yet again another throw-away year 2017.

For God’s sake.  Tell Kirby what he needs to FIX.  Quit ignoring our coaches’ foils.

# 31 on the Coaches’ HOT SEAT.com means only Hugh Freeze Butch Jones and Barry Od0m did a worse job 2016 coaching their talent in the SEC.  When THAT is satisfactory let me know.  Until then DEMAND MORE.

I do.

We are doomed to failure as a program with NO EXPECTATIONS saying 2016 was satisfactory for Kirby Smart and we’re all rating him HIGH APPROVAL RATING coaching this talent this program gave him.

Why is he # 31 coacheshotseat.com ?

Because he coached this talent well ?

Seriously ?

Are you that OUT OF TOUCH with reality ?

CY BROWN AJ-C DawgNation does some SOLID reporting. Cy Brown is the rising star of AJ-C DawgNation because HE IS SMART a trait NOT FOUND in several prominent others on that staff such as MARK BRADLEY and such as CHIPPER TOWERS to name some of the more OBVIOUS. 1 point Cy Brown really did NOT make however today is THAT YOU CAN BE A GOOD COACH SIMPLY BY RECRUITING GOOD PLAYERS.

And that REMAINS MY POINT that a coach can be judged a good coach SIMPLY by recruiting good players.

Now in all honesty I climbed all over Kirby all of 2016 from the day he finally showed-up and MOSTLY about not preparing Jacob Eason and his FRESHMEN CLASS he HIMSELF SIGNED here.

For 9 months Kirby said about his QB I don’t know who he is and still 9 months later was STILL practicing Greyson Lambert with the # 1 unit.  There were NUMEROUS other freshmen 2016 who did NOT get a FAIR SHAKE.

And if Kirby pulls that crap again this season 2017 expect me to again crawl all over his case about IT again.

Most ESPECIALLY with these 15 signed recruits he has coming-in for the 2017 season who in one top recruiting service or the other are all 15 ranked in the top 100 of 3300 recruits 2017 nationwide – Kirby has to find it in his heart of hearts to get his STARS on the field playing football.

The FACTS still remain that Cy Brown is correct today.

AND moreover a coach CAN be a good coach SIMPLY by having good players.

A coach can ALSO lose his job if he can not better judge who his top 50 players are and get the top half of those 50 out there nearly most of the snaps.  If he has a built-in bias in 2017 against Freshmen he is DOOMED.

You have to PLAY your stars.

Kirby for all he did in recruiting since the day he arrived and really before that even LOST to Vandie.

He will forever be remembered whatever his legacy for THAT LOSS 2016.

There is NO EXCUSE for losing to 6-7 Vandie and thus us not even having a winning record in The SEC 2016 as a direct result thereof.

But damn the recruiting has been fun.

I always said that once Mark Richt was finally fired that our recruiting would take-off.

Pundits told me Mark Richt was a great recruiter.

No he is NOT.

Kirby is.

https://www.dawgnation.com/football/team-news/recruiting-matters-georgia-football

AJ-C DawgNation Cy Brown also said earlier that Jim Chaney is no good and to blame for the offense.  Well Cy Brown said so without pointing-out that weighing-in at 429 lbs. as a coach for college kids on the field of play out-front for all to see is as bad an image and example as can possibly be for The University of Georgia to our kids.

PROFOUNDLY obese dumb and stubborn is no way to go through life.  You only get 1 go-round.

4th season in a row Georgia Softball has started-out at least 11-0 to begin each season culminating with our Opening Game WIN in the Women’s College World Series last season 2016.

There are great expectations for this season with us adding 2 of the top 100 softball players in the nation this off-season to bolster our already potent attack and top-notch pitching.

With 246 Division 1 Softball Teams and rosters of 25 players there are 5000 top softball players in our Division alone and the other smaller divisions also play great collegiate softball.  With Title IX every college in the nation fields softball teams.

We just play Softball at a higher level than all but the elite of the elite and frankly could win the Women’s College World Series which we have come-in 3rd place several times.

If you want to root for Georgia in an exciting sport in which we actually do well this is it.

Lu Harris-Champer   is doing a AMAZINGLY GREAT JOB as our Softball Head Coach.

“Our donors have been fantastic. I think one thing is we have just scratched the surface. We just know there’s tremendous upside there.” Greg McGarity to Seth Emerson AJ-C DawgNation just now.

I predict this is the END for Greg McGarity who shall NOT recover from this duly reported by Seth Emerson AJ-C DawgNation.

This is the end of the end that Greg McGarity would MOUTH-OFF like this to the press about how much MORE he can BILK from we Georgia donators who have given so much for the lip-service Greg McGarity gives us and BRAGS he can get MORE from – that he has only scratched the surface with us donating to him.

“Our donors have been fantastic.  I think one thing is we have just scratched the surface.  We just know there’s tremendous upside there.”

Greg McGarity quote to Seth Emerson AJ-C DawgNation just now.

“Jacob Eason is going to have a great future solid QB right now going to win BIG. He’s got crazy arm talent and was one of the bigger recruits in that class for a reason. He made smart decisions especially for a freshman had more composure than I was expecting is a hell of a player. We needed him to throw one up for grabs but he didn’t. There’s something there for sure and gives them a great foundation to build on.”

Auburn senior safety who played against Jacob Eason 2016 Rudy Ford : “Jacob Eason is going to have a great future. He’s already a solid quarterback right now. You can tell he’s going to win big at Georgia.”

vols senior cornerback who played against Jacob Eason 2016 Cam Sutton : “What stood out was how much respect we had for Jacob Eason after the game. He’s a great player. We gained a lot of respect for him. He’s different. He brings a lot of versatility to their offense with his arm. He’s going to help them a lot in the future.”

Florida senior linebacker who played against Jacob Eason 2016 Alex Anzalone : “When we played him our mindset was Jacob Eason is a freshman quarterback. You want to put pressure on him and get as many hits as you can. Georgia hadn’t played a defense like us up to that point. He’s got crazy arm talent. He was one of the bigger recruits in that class for a reason. He’ll be a really good player. He’s really tall having rare height.”

Auburn senior defensive tackle who played against Jacob Eason 2016 Montravius Adams : “Jacob Eason made smart decisions especially for a freshman. I was able to sack him twice but some guys would’ve tried to force a pass. A sack isn’t great but it’s better than an interception. He had more composure than I was expecting. He’s a hell of a player. We needed him to throw one up for grabs but he didn’t.”

TCU senior defensive end who played against Jacob Eason 2016 Josh Carraway : “Jacob Eason is going to be a really great player. He showed he can come through late for them. He has great arm strength. With a little more time film study and getting older he’s going to be a great player. There’s something there for sure. He gives them a great foundation to build on.”

http://gridironnow.com/jacob-eason-opponents-perspective/

Mr. Hays Carlyon GridIronNow.com .

5 Defensive players expected to play in the NFL next season all 5 have these GLOWING WORDS for Jacob Eason all 5 of whom played against Jacob Eason their Senior Season 2016 three of the 5 of whom lost to Jacob Eason and 2 of the 5 of whom beat him but in the 2 losses Jacob Eason impressed the Hell out of those defensive stalwarts as Kirby Smart told Jim Chaney to run the ball still Jacob Eason threw the ball for the 3rd most in SEC HISTORY for a true freshmen quarterback. A quarterback whom Kirby would NOT let practice with the 1st team to prepare him for the season last SPRING at ALL. And Fall Camp until the last 2 weeks of practice Kirby AGAIN would not prepare Jacob Eason whom he ultimately THREW to the FIRE anyway like I said he had to Starting SPRING PRACTICE # 1 last year.

If you don’t know differently and EVERYONE tells you that Jacob Eason is the real deal then you give him every opportunity to PREPARE him from the get-go. And you get the receivers out there who EVERYONE tells you are the best 3 receivers and have him throw to them EVERY SNAP from Spring Practice # 1. And when you see your Offense TOTALLY FAIL against run defenses STACKING the box to FORCE you to have Jacob Eason throw the ball you do NOT run the ball anyway.

You pass the ball to open-up the running game Offensive Game Plan Strategy 101 when they stack the box.

Whom do we lose off this team after this season for then Available Recruiting Scholarships for 2018 ? Well there are 18 who are seniors 2017 season for UGA Bulldogs not counting Walk-Ons and Preferred Walk-Ons. So we know we can sign 18 for 2018 recruiting class for Kirby. Walk-Ons :

David Marvin from Wofford while Wofford has not been very good he has personally.  Senior said NOT to be Walk-On but On-Scholarship however the Hell that is possible.   We’re 4 over on Scholarships for 2017 and he is On-Scholarship. You don’t do that and not use him.  So THIS is your Kicker.   He is a great athlete a great soccer player actually a fine baseball player son of 2 professional athletes from Charlotte would be kicker and punter for most any team in America Transfer as a Graduate of Wofford gets his Masters degree from UGA this 2017 season.  I would not be surprised to see he plays in the NFL.

Cameron Nizialek Senior Graduate Transfer 2017 Walk-On 44.8 yd punt 53.6 yd K-O one year eligibility

Trent Frix Senior 2017 was On-Scholarship 2016 with Kirby himself August 2016 awarding it to him as a Walk-On at the time.  Trent then played 12 games including bowl 2016 and has 2 Varsity letters UGA and Academic Honor Roll.  This blog here UGA Thomas Brown . wordpress.com reported that Trent Frix WAS given a Scholarship for 2016 by Kirby in August 2016.  Whether he keeps that for 2017 would seem to me to be up to the terms of providing it by Kirby.  I can not document that Trent Frix is or is not on Scholarship for 2017 but it would seem he like some others here should be.  I have not read Kirby say Trent Frix has a Scholarship for 2017 or that he does not.

Christian Payne Senior Walk-On 6′ 1″ 242 lbs. Starter

Glenn Welch Walk-On Redshirt Senior

Thomas Swilley Senior Walk-On 2017 OG played one game 2015 one game 2016 walk-on 6′ 3″ 317 lbs. Cedar Shoals

Billy Seward Redshirt Senior Walk-on 2017 redshirted 2013 played 2014 2015 2016 Center 6’ 3” 269 lbs. Oconee

Nick Moore Junior Walk-On FB 2017 Brookwood had tackle 2015 played 4 games 2016 walk-on still.

Steven Van Tiflin Redshirt Junior Walk-On 2017 WR played one game 2016 walk-on 6′ 1″ 207 lbs. Michigan

Keyon Brown OLB Redshirt Junior 2017 who may be on Scholarship 2017. 6′ 3″ 257 lbs. Florida.  I believe I recall we provided Keyon Brown Redshirt Sophomore 2016 a Scholarship and he had played in one game 2016.  So I did NOT say that Keyon Brown is not on Scholarship but that I said that he WAS provided a Scholarship for 2016 and played in a game 2016 for Kirby.  I have quite a few I am listing as Walk-Ons here rather than list them as On-Scholarship whom I feel ARE OWED a Scholarship because I can not document he is On-Scholarship for 2017  – Keyon Brown is one of these – not one of the 85 I can document ARE On-Scholarship 2017 I can document but one of the beat writers should ask him if he is.  I think he is.  Rather critical if he is or is not.

There are two main facts about after this 2017 season and they are one that it will NOT go next year like it did this year in NFL Draft Eligible Georgia Bulldogs when only 1 elected to do so.  And two the 2018 Recruiting Rankings will NOT be like the 2017 Recruiting Rankings for Kirby because they can NOT be not with only 18 seniors and him 4 over on On-Scholarship players for 2017 as we speak.

So if you are looking for momentum in Recruiting Rankings for 2018 like that of 2017 for Kirby you are barking-up the wrong tree.

This is going to be the smallest recruiting class for The Georgia Bulldogs EVER 2018 unless a ton of these eligible for the NFL Draft 2018 declare for it.

There is going to be a LOT of attrition because so many have been promised so much and others are OWED or due a Scholarship who just will not get one.

We over-signed by 4.

18 On-Scholarship Seniors who MUST leave after the season unless redshirted 2017

6 Walk-On Seniors who MUST leave after the season unless redshirted 2017

24 Seniors 2017

24 On-Scholarship Juniors or Redshirt Sophomores who can declare for 2018 NFL Draft

3 Walk-On Juniors who can declare for 2018 NFL Draft

27 Who can declare for the NFL Draft after this 2017 season

51 who either must or could leave after this up-coming 2017 season for UGA.

18 Scholarships freed-up after 2017 season if none of the 24 On-Scholarship players declare for the NFL Draft after the season who could.

Here they all are set down here by name and status of each.

Nobody else is doing this for you.  Just I.

NASCAR begins tomorrow night Saturday night at 8 p.m. DAYTONA 500 is a week from Sunday 2-26-17 then ATLANTA hosts the 2500th NASCAR race the next Sunday at 2:30 p.m. March 5. Monster Energy which causes anxiety blood pressure and sluggish movement is title sponsor with 3 times the recommended amount for 6-year olds many of whom are FANS of NASCAR. NASCAR changed the rules 2017 no longer allowing fixing cars in garage. AND boy-howdy POINTS are REALLY changed with 1/4 points when race stopped at 25%. Another 1/4 pts when race stopped at HALF-WAY. Remaining 50% points AWARDED for FINISH. It’s like a whole lot of sprints like the stupid races they hold SPEED-WEEK Daytona which is THIS WEEK. So if you think they GO AWAY after that for 36 NASCAR races after speed-week – no it’s that BULLSHIT every race now.

NASCAR began racing 69 years ago 1949 and this is the worst format ever.  It’s privately held and lacks stars today who connect with the fans.  Their concept is to race all over to get a geographic representation of fans although as in college football NASCAR is BIGGEST here in The South.

Therefore they race races with fewer fans in weird cities where no one is interested in NASCAR.

For many years now NASCAR has catered to not the one driver whom you want to win but to conglomerates with BILLIONS of dollars to better engineer their cars.

Their cars are Toyota Ford and Chevrolet ONLY.  So there is no MOPAR.  Why can’t Chrysler race in stock car races ?  I wonder sometimes if Chrysler will be viable even as a manufacturer.  MOPAR is acronym for MOtor PARts and are parts built by the original manufacturer Chrysler themselves OEM.

The little guy has no chance in NASCAR.  Big teams have so much more to work with that the little guy can not compete.  The restrictor plate races Daytona and Talladega are a total joke where anyone can win no matter how good their driving ability car or team is.

And this format change for NASCAR does not help the little guy out a bit or make the race for the chase into a real play-off either as in EVERY other sport.

It seems as if Bill France Jr.’s son Brian OWNER of NASCAR governing body wants to kill NASCAR.  Brian France also sells Britney Spears’ perfumes.  During Brian France’s reign NASCAR has gone totally down hill now leading to THIS this 2017 season of utter crap for racing.  Attendance has gone down as a result of trying to have races at places who don’t give a shit about NASCAR.  I currently have NO DRIVER to root for.

The stock car has 725 horsepower and 720 torque by Rule.  They say they are all the same and then allow conglomerate owners to have huge advantages in preparing their teams.

And no one gives a shit or has anyone to root for while traditional races are GONE so that we can race in places like Dover Delaware Kansas City Pocono Pennsylvania Sparta Kentucky New York Loudon New Hampshire California Las Vegas Phoenix and Miami ALL of whom have bad attendance obviously.

Forget you Brian France.  I used to love this sport.  You have RUNIED it.

NASCAR has gone DOWN fifteen percent (15%) during Brian France’s rule of NASCAR by HIMSELF.

Britney Spears’ perfumes – really Brian France ?  If you are born in Daytona Beach you should not be allowed to govern ANYTHING especially an ENTIRE SPORT.

Brian France has concocted a race for the chase of nothing but junk to try to simulate other sports’ play-offs and it has been and continues to be an utter failure for NASCAR.

The season is broken-up now to the last 25 % of the races where all the 43 drivers are eliminated except a few and then more are eliminated as the season progresses of the 36 races.

There are only a few drivers to root for at the end of the play-offs and all the other drivers ARE STILL OUT THERE TRYING TO WIN.

Win what ?

All the other drivers of the 43 are all still all 43 out there and they can’t win it.  They drive.  They do NOT count.

What is wrong with NASCAR?

This entire concept of Brian France is full of shit.

No wonder attendance has gone DOWN 15 % during this time Brian France has so changed NASCAR where the races are and how the winner is determined.

Inbred.

Georgia Softball 7-0 wins double-header # 12 nationally now batting .443 as a TEAM through 7 games. DEEP pitching staff 2017 sports 0.70 ERA as we are averaging scoring 11 earned runs a game. HOT START Georgia Lady Diamond Dawgs Softball.

229 Division 1 NCAA Softball teams 2017 season and Georgia is # 5 in team batting average and # 5 in team slugging percentage while we are # 197 team fielding percentage.  We lost in the Women’s College World Series last year after winning our Opening Game in the Women’s College World Series 2016 season because of our fielding.

Fielding is a skill learned by drilling.

http://www.ncaa.com/stats/softball/d1/current/team/283/p4

We are # 16 of 229 teams College Softball in team ERA.

It jumps-out how badly we field.

We need to take more infield.

Even if you are better in one sport than another the value and memories that come from participating in multiple sports overwhelmingly outweighs the advantage of spending all of your time on just one.

Even if you are great at pitching and hitting you play Defense half the time.

We want athletes who put themselves in a competitive situation on both Offense and Defense rather than the athlete who spends all of her time in a hitting cage or in the Circle not working on her Defense.

You have to work on your fielding and on your base-running.  We run the bases extremely well as a team because some of our gals are the very best nationally at speed on the base paths.

If you just put the ball in play against us again 2017 you are likely to score a run or more every game against us even on routine outs.

373892 ladies play U.S. High School Softball.  Is it the # 1 sport for women ?  There are many top sports for women gymnastics swimming soccer basketball cross-country track and field golf tennis volleyball equestrian and Softball is certainly one of the very top sports for women. The facts of the matter are with Title IX women have an extreme advantage in collegiate sports’ scholarships. What advantage do women have in collegiate athletics?  Title IX has resulted in equivalent women’s participation while fewer women compete in sports. You have a better chance since 1972 to get recognition and scholarship.  I am proud of my support of women’s sports and love it. I do not miss soccer matches basketball games softball games or Olympics.  American Olympics DOMINATE because of our WOMEN.  Of the 373892 women playing high school softball ten percent play college softball.  NCAA Division 1 teams are limited to only 12 Scholarships which can be given to 18 ladies getting two-thirds of a Scholarship.  HOPE Scholarships can make up the difference.

TV series ALONE had 0 women 10 men year 1 and now in year 3 two of the final 3 were women.  1 of those had to be removed when she absolutely wanted to go on but because of body weight which was low for her coming-in she was forcibly removed.

I like football.  I like women’s basketball soccer and softball because on the U.S. level our soccer is great.  And because our basketball and softball are a LOT better than our men’s sports at The University of Georgia.  I competed in 4 sports I lettered in.  I have played Softball all my life.  I love Softball.  I love women’s sports.  I competed in sports prior to Title IX and after.

Physical excursion contributes to having a strong mind.

It’s really tons of fun watching us 2017 in softball.  We can hit and pitch.

5000 ladies receive a free college degree Division 1 NCAA Softball worth at Georgia approximately $ 5 million dollars during your lifetime including retirement income from your degree.

Keep your grades up.  Maximize your HOPE Scholarship.  Maximize your Softball Scholarship.  Learn how to catch ground balls.  It’s an acquired skill.

That makes a LOT of sense ESPN. We’re # 10 in softball. We go UNDEFEATED 5-0 to begin our defense of our Women’s College World Series Opening Game Win last year. And you DROP Georgia Lady Diamond Dawgs to # 12.

http://www.ncaa.com/rankings/softball/d1/espncomusa-softball

ESPN has no writers of sports any longer.  You have washed-up bullshit artists and that is IT.

This is a non sequitur ESPN to vote us # 10 last week us go 5-0 and drop us to # 12.

We could not possibly be a more EXCITING TEAM 2017.

Biased ESPN.

And by the way you have NOT televised a single Georgia Softball game all year yet this year either ESPN either on your ESPN SEC Network or ANY of your OTHER ESPN channels on TV.

See you in The Women’s College World Series ESPN.

Jay Hawkins Armchair All-Americans : “The vocal minority (if you will) of Georgia fans have criticized head coach Kirby Smart of late for various issues. I am behind Kirby Smart on each of these issues.” Excuse me dumbass but you could NOT possibly be. No one is. He was HORRENDOUS his 1st season with literally 26 MISERABLE decisions. Kirby’s Top 2 Dozen and One and One more BLUNDERS of year one. I am NOT in the least bit surprised you have joined-up with Andrew Stephens.

I have been TRYING to ignore all his 26 bone-jarring BLUNDERS of year one but I will be dipped in shit if you are going to run to the Internet to hide behind your God Damn keyboard and say this :

“The vocal minority (if you will) of Georgia fans have criticized head coach Kirby Smart of late for various issues.  I am behind Kirby Smart on each of these issues.”  Armchair All-Americans Jay Hawkins

Kirby recruited well so I was TRYING to ignore his BLUNDERS of EPIC PROPORTIONS 2016.  Then you have to write you are 100% BEHIND Kirby on ALL EACH OF THESE ISSUES.  I totally firmly believe he purposely scuttled 2016 as a throw-away year because he is NOT a stupid person.  No one could JUSTIFY ANY of these BLUNDERS :

Armchair All-Americans – Admin Andrew Stephens and you Armchair All-Americans Jay Hawkins are 2 peas in a pod.  For YEARS Andrew Stephens made himself out the VILLAGE IDIOT on how great Mark Richt is and now you join-up with THAT after running yourself off the other site where EVERY BLOG author THERE totally disagreed with EVERY POST you ever wrote there so you had to LEAVE.

1.Hiring Jim Chaney and then keeping him instead of promoting Dell McGee to Offensive Coordinator when he clearly does not know who his best offensive players are and has no idea how to call plays for Kirby.  Profoundly obese is no way for an UGA coordinator to maintain himself at 410 lbs.  His in-game adjustments are non-existent.  That Kirby hired him in the first place is the issue.  This glaring issue still goes on.

2.From Jan 12 to Sept 5 Kirby still did not know all 33 weeks later who the hell his Starting QB is which lost the confidence of the QB and the teammates in him.  This was VERY obvious.

3.Kirby relying on 2 injured running backs when he had a healthy Brian Herrien. Pretty darn obvious Kirby.

4.Giving Nick Chubb 32 carries for 227 yards game 1 after 3 ligaments surgery and never the same after. Obvious.

5.Never figuring-out who his pitch-and-catch combo was for Jacob Eason to throw to swapping-out this receiver with that never getting timing down with any of them.  And one touch of the ball all season long by Mecole Hardman Junior no run, no pass thrown to him, no punt return one kick-off return ONE touch # 1 athlete in the nation whom Kirby was going to redshirt then relented and played him to TACKLE on special teams.

6.Giving his top 3 OL signees 2016 Ben Cleveland Chris Barnes and Solomon Kindley 1 snap combined when Kirby’s OL was so obviously tired and ineffective.

7.Kirby was thinking he was playing pass defenders on passing routes on vols’ Hail Mary got no pressure on the QB and did not defend the end zone.  This was the wrong play Kirby practiced for that situation.

8.Kirby was still giving # 1 snaps with # 1 unit to Greyson Lambert September 5 Tuesday before Nicholls State game which was game 2.  Inexcusable and stubborn of Kirby.

9.Kirby forced the players to go to Jim Chaney instead of Kirby himself fixing that in-game adjustment vs Florida.  We did everything wrong we could do all season it seemed.  And Kirby is smart.  He tried to scuttle the season to make next year look better by comparison.

10.Kirby forced mutiny by the players holding a players-only meeting not even allowing Kirby in his own damn locker room before Florida.  This mismanagement of Kirby’s roster caused all of this.

11.Kirby was trying to control what people think by who he let talk and what he let them say  and made it so that only he can talk.  A coach is supposed to be a communicator.

12.Kirby was handed the # 8 avg recruiting rankings making-up his team and ended-up the # 66 team at 8-5 by his roster full of talent wasted not played.  One would think Kirby can not judge talent or thought he had a throw-away year after 8 years of 73-32 for FIRED Mark Richt.  NO there was NOT.  And is not 2017 either.

13.Kirby is # 26 on Coaches’ HOT SEAT.com today meaning 102 coaches did a better job than he.

14.Kirby’s disrespecting of his players to the press and their teammates is some kind of tough love like Rodney Garner.  This derision of all the players by Kirby has to stop.  You encourage them Kirby when they do something you WANT.

15.Kirby has a bias against Freshmen 2016 like this is 1959 saying no freshmen is going to start at QB for him.  Yes he did Kirby and you dragged your feet on it until game two 33 weeks of NOT PREPARING Jacob Eason and the team with him.

16.Telling Greg McGarity Nov 28 that this is your dream job then not bothering show-up until 12 Jan 6 weeks 4 days later.  I would have fired you right then Kirby.  New job take 6 weeks 4 days vacation.  Didn’t want this job too badly did you Kirby ?

17.Stubborn running the ball even vs loaded box even when it was not working.  You never did run to open pass and pass to open running game.  You just had bad game strategies for all to see.

18.Kirby has no offensive experience and it showed in everything he did offensively.

19.Kirby has no special teams’ experience and that showed in everything he did on ST too.

20.Did not Start Freshman All-America Isaac Nauta until game 5.  Next 2 games not start. Then 2 more Isaac Nauta  didn’t start.  Frankly Kirby I would have thrown to Isaac Nauta on every down as the go-to receiver. Awful.

21.Started William Ham at Kicker going 3 of 7 field goals  and short kick-offs then criticizing Freshman All-America Rodrigo Blankenship.  God Almighty Kirby.  Mitchell Wasson is better than that.

22.Kirby your antics to the press were a distraction from the time they first asked you who your QB is back in January.  The longer it went on the more stubborn you came across.  You cut off your nose to spite your face and hurt the team Kirby.

23.Kirby’s unwillingness to answer ANY question was adversarial defensive and made you sound mad whenever anyone dared to ask you a tough question.  Kirby you’re a poor communicator.

24.Kirby is a very poor evaluator of talent and cannot really even tell who the better players are.  I say you did ALL this on purpose Kirby.  You’re not stupid.  You scuttled the # 8 talent in the nation to be # 66 team.  Unforgiveable Kirby. You cannot tell me you did not do this on purpose.  You STILL are.  Congratulations you had the season YOU wanted.  The players will NEVER get this year back. NEVER.  Inexcusable.  You pissed me off Kirby.

25. Scholarship Count for Kirby for 2017 since Kirby had his RB coach call Toniel Carter Junior and tell him he’s OUT of scholarships for early enrollment. What his brother and legal guardian told you Kirby was YOU SHOULD HAVE CALLED HIS BROTHER AND HIM YOURSELF KIRBY. Kirby you also gave 3 walk-ons a scholarship and NOW can’t have the kid here early like he wanted to AND LIKE YOU PROMISED HIM KIRBY when you promised his brother and him EARLY ENROLLEE then 2 days AFTER his commitment you gave 3 Walk-Ons Scholarships thus ENDING Toniel Carter Junior’s Early Enrollment.  Expect to DEFEND that decision for the next 20 years – AT LEAST. By my count Kirby could sign 22 and signed 26 including a kicker/punter scholarship transfer.  So Kirby over-signed by 4 more new Scholarships when he has COMMITTED SCHOLARSHIPS and a damn deserving veritable bevy of Preferred Walk-Ons and Walk-Ons that is INEXCUSABLE treatment of them.  See the MOMS picking on Kirby about this !  And Dads.  And I know Kirby had therefore an early enrollee spot for Toniel Carter Junior.  If you don’t even know his God Damn NAME then don’t talk about DEFENDING Kirby on this. So my read on this is that Kirby did NOT WANT Toniel Carter Junior. Therefore you can add this to the list of the top 2 dozen biggest blunders by Kirby his first season coaching anywhere. It stands at 26 blunders Kirby 2016.   Kirby dropped from # 2 recruiting class to # 3 by his treatment of Toniel Carter Junior who clearly wanted to be here January 6 early enrollee. And Kirby gave Tom Herman a huge big boost in his new job and made Texas a better team.  This will be used against Kirby in RECRUITING his entire tenure at Georgia.  This is TYPICAL of the manner Kirby treats folks.  You have seen it ALL YEAR on ALL HIS PLAYERS.  Texas is a huge fertile recruiting ground.  If we can’t recruit in Texas over this this will be even bigger than Kirby not wanting the guy after HE TOLD THE KID HE DID.  This is what is being said and although Kirby said he didn’t have an early enrollee spot Kirby certainly does and could have if he wanted to.  So he didn’t want him AFTER he told the kid he did.  I did Kirby.  I wanted the kid.  When I give MY WORD to a kid it MEANS SOMETHING Kirby.  Business ?  It’s just business ?  BAD business.  I have a BUSINESS DEGREE same as Kirby from SAME SCHOOL.  If you’re going to DEFEND this decision THEN DISCUSS what our beefs about it ARE.  Not a straw man red herring DEFENDING of indefensible decision.  NOTHING about the manner Kirby Smart handled Toniel Carter Junior and his brother can be DEFENDED.

26. Kirby : “Shaun McGee is going to finish up with us but then he’s going to transfer out.  He may have some academic issues depending on how his grades finish up.  We’re still checking on a couple of classes.  He may not be eligible for us next semester.”  Kirby can’t say that.  NCAA violation.

“The vocal minority (if you will) of Georgia fans have criticized head coach Kirby Smart of late for various issues.  I am behind Kirby Smart on each of these issues.”  Armchair All-Americans Jay Hawkins

Dumbass.  It must be April Fools’ Day EVERY day on your blog to STATE THIS Jay Hawkins Armchair All-Americans.

All-American FOOLS.

You could NOT POSSIBLY mean this Jay Hawkins.  Look over the criticism of Kirby Smart year one one more time and tell me again you are behind Kirby Smart on each of these issues dumb shit.

Go ahead.

I shall wait for THAT.

http://www.armchairallamericans.com/kirby-smart-proving-college-football-business/

I thought it is Valentine’s Day not April Fools’ Day Jay Hawkins.  Take it back boy.

If he doesn’t fix this shit he will be a damn short-timer here I can TELL YOU THAT as I did that Mark Richt had to be FIRED.

Without an AD to tell Kirby THESE 26 BLUNDERS one might fully expect them to REPEAT THEMSELVES 2017 including MOST ESPECIALLY not practicing the 18 ESPN Top 300 and 15 top 100 players overall nationally he just RECRUITED in his WAY over-signing which he poo-pooed and said was NO PROBLEM.

Sure it is.

He AND you are going to PISS-OFF a LOT more than just me if he repeats ANY of these 26 undeniable BLUNDERS again 2017 including the WHOLE DAMN TEAM and all our recruits along with ALL THE PRESS.

I can ASSURE you of this Jay Hawkins.

Now what was it YOU wanted me to discuss with you Jay Hawkins today when I was TRYING to IGNORE all this shit and harp instead on his 15 top 100 overall recruits he just added ?

If you take this softness on my part toward Kirby since Signing Day to be SOFTNESS on my part you are GRAVELY mistaken.

I simply wanted to move forward.

THIS does NOT mean you can then write your bullshit today Jay Hawkins that you are BEHIND Kirby on EACH of these decisions with SO MANY OF US (the vast majority) totally miffed by Kirby’s 1st year antics on and OFF the field.

Stick THIS then up your God Damned Asshole Jay Hawkins as my reply to THIS bullshit from you yet again about you being BEHIND Kirby on EACH of these 26 BLUNDERS of Biblical Proportions 2016 by Kirby Smart.

In January after the bowl games before Signing Day ESPN ranked Kirby’s 2017 Edition # 13 by Mark Schlabach of ESPN who used to be The Georgia Bulldogs’ Beat-Writer for the AJ-C. That was before the current group upgraded a few years back by stealing from Macon.com Seth Emerson and then replacing him with Jason Butt at Macon.com. All is better as a result of these 3 moves. NOW in Mark Schlabach’s latest February post after Signing Day he LEAVES Kirby # 13 for 2017 noting “A WHOPPING 18 ESPN top 300 overall signing selections by Kirby.” This is just the type of INCONSISTENT reporting Mark Schlabach’s writings were here in Atlanta MARKED BY NOTABLY. He moved-up others for their recruiting but idly left UGA at # 13 DESPITE Mark Schlabach reporting : “a whopping 18 ESPN 300 selections.” ???????????

Which is it Mark Schlabach ?

“A WHOPPING 18 ESPN top 300 overall signing selections by Kirby”

or

NOTHING to write HOME about ESPN’s Mark Schlabach ?

He repeatedly left me MIFFED at him here in Atlanta and I was happy to see him leave.  He’s NOT FAIRED well.

“The Bulldogs might be poised to take control of the SEC East in 2017” ESPN’s Mark Schlabach said back in January after the bowl games here at this URL Link :

http://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/18395211/alabama-crimson-tide-florida-state-seminoles-headline-way-too-early-top-25-2017

Now today February after Signing Day at this URL Link ESPN’s Mark Schlabach states : “Kirby Smart made his mark on the recruiting trail, signing the country’s No. 3 class. The Bulldogs’ class includes a whopping 18 ESPN 300 selections.”

http://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/18586725/alabama-crimson-tide-florida-state-seminoles-remain-top-2017-way-too-early-top-25-national-signing-day

If you have point SUCH AS THIS then don’t write then thereafter inconsistent non sequitur contradictory points to the point you have to make ESPN’s Mark Schlabach.

That does NOT follow ESPN’s Mark Schlabach.

How improbable is it that UGA does well 2018 or even 2017 ? Fantastical far-fetched ? Pro Football Focus.com thinks it is almost a foregone conclusion and cites the losses by the vols and by Florida this off-season pinning Kirby’s youthful troops to the highest odds of playing Alabama in The SEC Championship Game this year with Nick Chubb and Sony Michel and with 2nd year improvements by Jacob Eason and the Defense and Special Teams. And notes the great talent on-hand 2018 AND 2017 now.

ProFootballFocus.com thinks that Georgia can do well in 2018 and has picked us to do well 2017 now each growing day this off-season with all the continued good news for our football team.

One of the points I have noted is that what I have witnessed the last decade from watching Jake Fromm is his incredible accuracy.  If there is one surefire method for getting and keeping the attention of a large pool of receivers it is the same as it is in baseball pitchers keeping their defense on their toes too.  That is to say throw strikes.

I have watched Jake Fromm for a decade now and have seen his ungodly accuracy.  He can throw the ball where he wants to throw it and do it every throw in a row all game long.  Let’s be realistic about what we witnessed in the Super Bowl by Tom Brady.  If anything he’s accurate.

We’ll see if that amounts to more than pressure on Jacob Eason.

But you can’t deny that Florida and the vols both have nowhere near the talent pools that Kirby now has.

Now Kirby did fail at getting his guys out there practicing with the # 1 unit last Spring AND Fall whom he ultimately had no choice but to Start but if he can turn that around season 2 instead of another throw-away year and get last year’s Freshmen and this year’s Freshmen out there contributing such as Jake Fromm 2017 is not out of the question for Georgia to do well in so says ProFootballFocus.com :

Take that vols. 21678 expected at Thompson-Boling Arena to coronate vols’ season to March Madness 883 ESPNU carries the festivities and J. J. Frazier just RUINS everything. They fouled-out Yante Maten with just 7 pts 4 rebounds but Tyree Crump contributes 13 pts Juwan Parker 11 pts while J.J. Frazier rips their hearts out with a lay-up with 21 seconds left and makes the 3-point play the hard way hitting the foul shot too to tally 29 points against the vols who were # 38 RPI fresh off wins over Kentucky Vanderbilt Kansas State and Auburn with Georgia # 62 RPI. Ladies then finish-off the nightcap of double-header in softball to remain unbeaten # 10 nationally 9 to 1 and 14 to 2 with again great hitting and pitching.

Georgia Softball WINS double-header tonight to START 2017 by 8 to nothing followed by the dramatic come-from-behind WALK-OFF WIN over Syracuse in the nightcap tonight 6-5. Softball Georgia in Women’s College World Series again last season 1 win from semi-finals after 2 previous 3rd place finishes has GREAT TEAM 2017. None of the games this Opening Weekend on SEC Network. Why NOT ? We have 19 of the top softball players in the nation on this team half of whom we just added in recruiting.

Softball Georgia Lady Bulldogs coached very well by  Lu Harris-Champer have an awesome team this season.

Our 2 primary pitchers 2017 both had no hitters last season for us.

Our lead-off hitters return batting .441 and .404.

We added great talent.

We have power hitters.

We are very good in the field.

We’re solid and are Top 10 in the Pre-Season Polls.

You can watch the games on WATCH ESPN.

The SEC is the Top Conference for Softball and we’re a major part of that again 2017.

It was so exciting last season including our Opening Game Win in the Women’s College World Series 2016 over FSU.

  1. We return our All-SEC Freshman Shortstop Lacey Sumerlin.
  2. We added Mahlena O’Neal a hard-hitting great fielding catcher.
  3. Star infielder Justice Milz who hits like crazy at the plate joins the team this season.
  4. Great expectations welcome Madison McPherson to the line-up 2017.
  5. Power hitter Maeve McGuire is back for her senior season.
  6. Speedster Tyra Holliday joins our talented outfield this season.
  7. Catcher and Outfielder Kaylie Harding joins with her sister 2017.
  8. Twin-sister Karlie Harding comes in to play second base an open position 2017 for us.
  9. Junior Brittany Gray returns to the Circle for us this year.
  10. Power hitter First Baseman joins us Alysen Febrey.
  11. Sydni Emanuel is a Senior this year and team leader.
  12. Cortni Emanuel returns as an outfielder for us with great speed too.
  13. Speedster Shortstop Jordan Doggett joins us this season.
  14. Sophomore 3rd Baseman Alyssa DiCarlo returns as our top Power hitter.
  15. Kendall Burton transfers-in as a Junior to bolster our outfield.
  16. Defensive gem Ciara Bryan joins us to take-on infield spots.
  17. Kylie Bass returns as a Sophomore after her Stellar Freshman pitching job.
  18. Mary Wilson Avant joins us from Macon to fill-in the all-important pitching rotation.
  19. Amanda Ablan is the Brookwood Ace Pitcher we added for 2017.

Alban did well tonight pitching and we have another double-header Saturday 2-11-2017 at 12:30 and 3 p.m. here in our Opening Tournament # 10 in the nation sure to move-on-up at this rate.

Emanuel sisters combined for 4 hits to open the season and Maeve McGuire another senior added 2 more hits.

All-SEC Freshman Shortstop Lacey Sumerlin also had 2 hits.

Power hitter First Baseman Alysen Febrey added 2 hits as well.

Kendall Burton who transfered-in as a Junior to bolster our outfield added a hit.

And Sophomore 3rd Baseman Alyssa DiCarlo who returns as our top Power hitter added another hit for the victorious Lady Diamond Dawgs 8 to nothing in the Home Opener and Opening Day Game.

Junior Brittany Gray who returns to the Circle for us this year and Amanda Ablan the Brookwood Ace Pitcher we added for 2017 combined in the Opener to gain the Shut-Out 8 to nothing.

The 2nd game tonight was much more dramatic as Kylie Bass returns as a Sophomore after her Stellar Freshman pitching job and went the distance against a very good opponent giving-up only 3 earned runs.  We gave-up too many unearned runs last season which ultimately cost us in the College World Series but as you can see we can pitch and hit.

After only able to tally 2 runs through the first six innings The Lady Diamond Dawgs put-up 4 in the bottom of the 7th for the Walk-Off Win over Syracuse.

Kendall Burton tripled to clear the bases scoring all 3 with the bases loaded and then Cortni Emanuel picked-up her 3rd hit in the nightcap to score Kendall Burton and win the game in dramatic fashion.

Too bad SEC Network saw fit not to televise any of it.

I’d say The SEC Network has been a huge disappointment not telecasting LIVE events with great following.

The Georgia Lady Diamond Dawgs are # 10 this season already looking to return with this stout line-up to the Women’s College World Series for our 4th trip with two previous 3rd place finishes there.

http://www.ncaa.com/rankings/softball/d1/espncomusa-softball

No Greg McGarity did NOT hire  Lu Harris-Champer as our Softball Coach perhaps this season better than any other season ever for us.

The USA Today Coaches’ Poll for Softball has us at # 12 :

http://www.ncaa.com/rankings/softball/d1/usa-todaynfca-coaches

I can tell you watching these gals is mighty exciting.

$ 150 grand more than Ole Miss could PONY-UP for Tray Scott as their Defensive Line Coach to which the Lady Sportswriter states : “Talk about odd. Tray Scott apparently had a change of heart and will now join Kirby Smart’s staff in Athens.” Odd that Tray Scott would want $ 150 thousand a year more here doing the same job and not having to deal with the NCAA Investigation Self-Imposed 11 Scholarships Reduction at Ole Miss over the next 4 years Lady Sportswriter ? Seriously that’s odd to you Lady Sportswriter ? No. It’s not.

Good luck with that approach Ole Miss.  Have us sweep-in and swoop-up your new DL Coach before he could EVER even start for $ 150 grand more EVERY YEAR and NO NCAA Investigation with self-imposed 11 Scholarships reduction in FOOTBALL over the next 4 years the first of which you JUST WITNESSED with Ole Miss WAY DOWN IN RECRUITING therefrom.

We also have RECRUITED BETTER on the DL than Ole Miss.

THIS is a no brainer for Tray Scott.

“Talk about odd.  Tray Scott apparently had a change of heart and will now join Kirby Smart’s staff in Athens.” Lady Sportswriter today.

What is ODD Lady Sportswriter that a guy wants to be paid $ 150 thousand dollars a year MORE to coach here than at Ole Miss going through Ole Miss’ self-imposed 11 Scholarships reduction over the course of four seasons suspension of two assistants from recruiting fined itself $159,352 and required football staff at Ole Miss to go through additional training on NCAA rules and policies ?

I am sorry Lady Sportswriter but I FAIL to find this ODD as you call it that a guy would want to be paid $ 150 thousand dollars a year MORE than Ole Miss can afford to pay him.  If Hugh Freeze really wanted him he should have paid him the additional $ 150 thousand dollars a year MORE Kirby offered him to leave before he started there.

The results of the NCAA Investigation there at Ole Miss and their recruitment of Atlanta here by Ole Miss clearly required a savvy representation here in Atlanta by Ole Miss and THAT is NOT worth the additional $ 150 thousand a year Kirby offered Tray Scott to come coach here instead of there with all that hanging over his head AND $ 150 thousand a year LESS to coach there ?

Excuse me but there is NOTHING ODD about ANY of this.

Jesus Christ Lady Sportswriter wake-up for once in your God Damn Life.

Why in the Hell would you say that it is ODD that Tray Scott would want $ 150 thousand dollars a year MORE here than at Ole Miss with self-imposed reduction of 11 Scholarships over the course of the next 4 years which you just witnessed the first year of at Ole Miss and their HUGE DROP in recruiting directly therefrom ?

I wondered about you many years ago Lady Sportswriter.  I don’t wonder any more.

You’re a dumbass of the highest order and ALWAYS have been.

http://theladysportswriter.com/georgia-football-that-didnt-take-long/

What would be ODD Lady Sportswriter would be if you did NOT criticize Kirby Smart after all the EXCUSES you floated on your bullshit blog of LIES and MISREPRESENTATIONS about how great Mark Richt was his last entire 8 years here Lady Sportswriter.

It would be inconsistent of you Kimberly Nash.

Yeah I get it Kimberly Nash.

There is NO WAY you can stretch THIS to be odd.

Just as there was NO WAY you could have DEFENDED Mark Richt his last entire 8 years here Lady Sportswriter Kimberly Nash.  But once again you have indeed done just that.  Again.

Odd that Tray Scott would want $ 150 thousand a year more here doing the same job and not having to deal with the NCAA Investigation Self-Imposed 11 Scholarships Reduction at Ole Miss over the next 4 years Lady Sportswriter ?  Seriously that’s odd to you Lady Sportswriter ?  No.  It’s not.

Was hiring Todd Grantham who got FIRED from Louisville by Bobby Petrino a way for Mississippi State to take advantage of the Ole Miss NCAA Probation or a MISTAKE as well ?

It’s a big mistake for Mississippi State and a step backwards hiring Todd Grantham when Bobby Petrino hired the Mississippi State Bulldogs’ Defensive Coordinator Peter Sirmon but had to wait to announce it until after someone anyone would hire Todd Grantham.

No one liked Todd Grantham and it was surprising to ME that Bobby Petrino even offered Todd Grantham 5 years one point three million to go there.  Now the way he handled hiring this Peter Sirmon a total nobody in his haste to rid himself of Todd Grantham just leaves you wondering even more about Bobby Petrino.

But Mississippi State has done themselves no favors in this swap of their nobody defensive coordinator to this one now who is just a north end of a south bound horse no one likes at ALL.

Safety Jonathan Abram and defensive lineman Chauncey Rivers joins him there.

Lol.

Good luck with that kind of hiring and recruiting Mississippi State.

“Kirby Smart’s No. 3 class ranking is Georgia’s highest finish since ESPN began tracking commitments. Kirby Smart reeled in 18 ESPN 300 prospects. Georgia lost just one starter on defense. And with the seven defensive backs he signed expect a few new faces in the secondary this fall.” ESPN Edward Aschoff Florida grad. Edward – with 18 of ESPN Top 300 players in the nation wouldn’t we expect new faces on the OL too for example ? Just the Secondary who returns intact ? Huh ? How about at RB any shake-up there Edward sir ? How about DL ? How about LB all those no changes 2017 Edward sir ? Wide Receivers with all the DROPS last year and no 2017 recruit cracks that line-up at all either Edward ? I don’t get it expect changes in Secondary Edward. You must really HATE Georgia Edward to make such a shallow statement that we should “EXPECT A FEW NEW FACES IN THE SECONDARY THIS FALL.”

Super Bowl ? Puppies’ Bowl ? Pussies’ Bowl ? Matt Ryan is NO Tom Brady. 1 win in 168 seasons of Atlanta Professional Sports and with a 28-3 lead with more than 2 minutes 3rd Quarter losing 28-34.

Matt Ryan was nervous.  You could see it.  He lost that game.  He handed it to the New England Patriots.  Tom Brady kept the pressure on the Falcons’ defense and Matt Ryan just hung his defense out to dry.

Bart Starr has the highest Winning Percentage in NFL Post Seasons as Starting QB and is tied with Tom Brady for the Most NFL Championships Won as Starting QB with 5.  Tom Brady has the most wins NFL Post Seasons with 25 wins 9 losses and 5 Super Bowl Wins while 2 of Bart Starr’s NFL Championship Wins as Starting QB were BEFORE the Super Bowls and 2 of Bart Starr’s NFL Championship Wins were renamed Super Bowls AFTER they were played and before they were NAMED Super Bowls.

Matt Ryan is 3-5 in NFL Post Seasons with no NFL Championships and blew his chance himself by himself as his body language gave him away as desperate and scared with jitters on the Big Stage.  3-5 Matt Ryan is # 69 as an NFL Starting Quarterback in Post Season play with no NFL Championships.  Frankly Matt Ryan hurt his chances of joining Terrell Davis in the Pro Football Hall of Fame tonight.

# 2 ranked Recruiting Class Nationally : # 2 USA Today – # 2 Campus Insiders – # 2 Sports Illustrated – and # 2 Scout.com When did Mark Richt ever do this with 15 of the top 100 overall nationally in 247Sports.com ESPN RecruitingNation or Scout.com ? Answer he NEVER did.

He was not cold-blooded enough to recruit like this and I told you we would recruit better without him :

# 3 in every other Recruiting Ranking 2017

Mark Richt NEVER got us 15 of the top 100 players in ESPN RecruitingNation or 247Sports.com or Scout.com.

He did NOT come CLOSE to this even.

2-4-2017

While the 2017 class is fewer in number than the 2002 class and fewer in number than the 2006 class – the 2017 class has as many top players as those 2 earlier classes combined.

# 9 Scout.com 2002 Mark Richt class :

http://www.scout.com/a.z?s=73&p=9&c=14&yr=2002

The 2002 class was 9 of the 29 either 4-star or 5-star as you can see.

# 4 Scout.com 2006 Mark Richt class :

http://www.scout.com/a.z?s=73&p=9&c=14&yr=2006

The 2006 class was 15 of the 27 either 4-star or 5-star as you can see.

# 2 Scout.com 2017 Kirby Smart class :

http://www.scout.com/a.z?s=73&p=9&c=14&yr=2017

The 2017 class has 23 of the 26 either 4-star or 5-star as you can see.

There are 24 either 4-star or 5-star both 2002 and 2006 COMBINED.

There are 23 either 4-star or 5-star in this 2017 class by itself.

While the 2017 class is fewer in number than the 2002 class and fewer in number than the 2006 class – the 2017 class has as many top players as those 2 earlier classes combined.

There is NO CLASS for us which compares to the 2017 class.

I return you now to your Mark Richt Apologists telling you 2017 matches-up fairly closely with 2002 and 2006 and is the best class SINCE 2002 and 2006.   Put your crack pipe down. That stuff is NO good for you.

Alabama overtook us at 4:15 p.m. for # 1 Recruiting Class in the nation Scout.com 2017 also. We held on from 9 am this morning and now # 2 Scout.com. This is our best recruiting class EVER and a ton better than 2006. 15 top 100 in Scout.com or ESPN RecrutingNation.com or 247Sports.com Composite. 2006 class a joke compared to THIS.
