MARK RICHT : “We didn’t win a national championship and didn’t win enough SEC Championships. But for me this coaching thing is still as much about serving a mission as it is anything and helping kids go on to better lives.” No. A coaches’ job is to WIN – not to win the recruits over to Christ – no mater how many times you say it AGAIN and AGAIN Mark Richt.

Preachers have a mission OTHER than JUST winning football games while you just simply LOST IT after 2007 at 73-32 your last 8 years here Mark Richt winning at only the # 45 rate vs top 15 teams with # 7 average Scout.com Recruiting Talent.  This is a miserable unacceptable showing your last 8 years thinking –  as you STILL DO – that there’s SOMETHING BESIDES WINNING that’s important averaging 4 losses a season from 2008 through 2015.  This includes the entirety of their time here for your entire dream team.

18 losses your last entire 24 games vs top 15 teams # 45 nationally Mark Richt all the games after 2007.  And Georgia is # 11 all-time in WINS.  And you averaged the # 7 Scout.com Recruiting Ranking.

And another 12 losses to UNRANKED TEAMS after 2007 Mark Richt here at Georgia.  12 losses your last 8 years against CUPCAKES unranked time of game or for season in AP Poll or Coaches’ Poll.

THIS IS WHY YOU GOT FIRED.

It had nothing to do with national championships.

Nothing.

As for SEC Championships why bring that up ?  You went 10 consecutive years not winning The SEC Championship.

It was ONLY THEN that you dreamed-up this BULLSHIT that there’s something BESIDES WINNING that’s important here at Georgia.

NO there is NOT.

You were NOT expected to get on the national stage and lose 18 of your last 24 games Mark Richt vs the top 15 teams # 45 nationally at that.  What you did do in winning some of the recruits over to Christ doesn’t mean a God Damn Mark Richt.  It was about winning baby.  You wet the bed on the national stage after 2007 when you JUST LOST IT.

As a coach paid $ 5 million dollars a year your job was to WIN Mark Richt.

You STILL DON’T get it.

“This coaching thing is still as much about serving a mission as it is anything and helping kids go on to better lives.”  No it is NOT – but about winning football games.
