Kirby today : “I think we’ve still got a ways to go at wideout. But Jacob Eason helps those guys – putting the ball in the right spots.”

“I think we are advancing in our passing game and the guys competed hard.   I think Jacob is getting more and more comfortable with our system.  He understands the protection now.   To manage that offense.  It’s challenging coming straight in from high school. I think he’s in a better place.  He’s more confident.  He’s throwing the ball good.  Things that Jacob Eason can handle now.  And being able to do a little more things. And being able to open things up to run the ball as well as throw the ball.  Give him some options to check into and out of things.  He’s come a long way”

Kirby today but Kirby did not mention the offensive line.
