Ed Orgeron at LSU is averaging # 8 recruiting class. Kirby is averaging # 2. LSU is prohibitive favorite over Georgia ? Because LSU beat Alabama who beat no one ? Because LSU beat Florida and Auburn both home games for LSU ? Georgia beat Florida and Auburn away from our Home. And we beat Notre Dame. LSU wins ? Bullshit.

$5000 per year per student-athlete maximum. Five Thousand Dollars year. Some collegiate athletes will NEVER market themselves for a penny. Thirty-thousand per student-athlete maximum. 6 years. The state of Florida is going forward with NIL before next season for collegiate athletes.

South Carolina # 18 in recruiting and Kirby # 6 for next year so far 2020. So how is South Carolina going to win then ? Because they TRY harder ? Are better coached ?

Obviously Kirby does a LOT better job recruiting than Will Muschamp.  That is why Will Muschamp has NEVER beat Kirby.  The trend will continue Saturday at noon.

Only 2 teams have more talent that Kirby’s Georgia Bulldogs 2019 Alabama and Ohio State so Georgia should go undefeated until we play in The SEC Championship Game then the playoffs.

# 5 Kirby ranking recruiting 2020 class with 16 recruits including Kendall Milton Running Back California and TEXAS player Chad Lindberg the # 14 Offensive Tackle in the nation # 133 overall player. Texas can NOT let us steal him from them nor Texas A&M. And Southern Cal can NOT give up # 22 overall Kendall Milton to us either.

4 of the top 22 Offensive Tackles in the nation have now committed to Kirby 2020.  Why would the # 4 best RB nation who is # 22 overall best player in America choose UGA from California when others thought Southern California or even Oklahoma ?  Duh because of our Offensive Line he wants to run behind.  Can we get to the # 1 or # 2 class ?  Sure we can with only 16 commitments right now with this impressive haul this past weekend.

7-30-2019

Georgia Tech recruiting has only one 4-star commitment with 16 who are 3-star rating. THAT is not very good at ALL. I thought Geoff Collins was supposed to be out-recruiting Kirby he bragged. That’s BULLSHIT.

Georgia is # 4 in the nation in recruiting and is the ONLY school to finish in the top 3 all 3 of the latest years in recruiting.  With only 14 commitments Kirby has double-digits he can still sign for this year.

A lot of BRAGGING by Geoff Collins to be so far behind Kirby who might end up with 6 who are 5-star recruits again this year.

Good luck on that Georgia Tech with Geoff Collins.

What a joke by Coke.  As for your tweet July 4th Georgia Tech well…

Happy 4th of July

7-4-2019

Georgia Tech has had two (2) Braun brothers earn all-acc honors on the OL Parker and Trey Braun. But Parker announced he is leaving to Texas and NOW Kirby went and stole Joshua Braun of Suwannee Florida for 2020 giving us 12 commitments looking very much like a 4th top 3 recruiting ranking 4 years in a row now for 2020 for Kirby.

It seems the new coach is NOT a hit with Joshua Braun or ANY other Braun.  Right ?

6-11-2019

Kirby is up to # 5 with just only 10 commitments so far for 2020 while Clemson has 16 and Alabama 17 commitments already so we have a LOT of potential with this great start.

Kirby does so well recruiting.  We’ve NEVER seen this type of recruiting.  And Kirby maintains it every year.

# 6 for 2016

# 3 for 2017

# 1 for 2018

# 2 for 2019

# 5 for 2020 and clearly moving up when we catch up on quantity of recruits

5-23-2019

Apopka Florida 4-Star Defensive Tackle Jalen Carter 315 lbs. picked UGA over Alabama Auburn Clemson Florida and Florida State making Kirby Georgia Bulldogs # 5 recruiting class passing BOTH Florida and Florida State 2020 recruiting rankings. Only Clemson has a higher average recruit with all UGA recruit commitments either 4 or 5-Star. Top 100 overall player in the nation we have needed Jalen Carter for several years in a row now.

5-21-2019

2019 Signing Date Kirby went out-of-state to sign 16 of his 24 who are coming on campus now for Spring Practice in droves. THIS puts UGA on the map.

16 out-of-state wow

14 enrolled now here !

10 signed letter of intent LOI

2 JUCO transfers

Does this make a statement to you that Kirby garnered 16 of his 24 not counting transfers from out-of-state ?

Well it should make a point to you.

THIS is the state of Georgia.

Only 3 other states actually compete with Georgia in sending their high school football players to play football and those are Florida California and Texas.

That Kirby went out-of-state for 16 of his top 24 this recruiting cycle 2019 is a statement not seen in the annuls of UGA Georgia Bulldogs ever.

Kirby gets off to an uncharacteristicly SLOW START in RECRUITING 2020 Signing Date

Kirby only has 3 commitments for Signing Date after this up-coming season.  The # 20 overall player in the nation Broderick Jones an undersized offensive tackle has committed and Kirby has Jamil Burroughs committed of McEachern a Defensive Tackle the # 60 overall player along with # 201 overall recruit DT Nazir Stackhouse.

Kirby has enjoyed 3 top-flight classes in a row garnering national press at # 3 then # 1 and this latest cycle now # 2.  This 2020 class is a defining moment in Georgia Bulldogs’ history.  I understand there are a lot of players considering us.    Right now we only have 3 commitments.

LSU and Alabama both have 11 commitments so Kirby is in unchartered territory at # 20 in recruiting rankings today.  It’s not time to panic yet but this is not where Kirby thought he would be in recruiting this year.

https://247sports.com/Season/2020-Football/CompositeTeamRankings/

This is what Kirby does best.  Well he runs a fine defense too.

2-24-2019

Look Mark Richt gave us the # 7 class in 2015. It is what he did. After the national championship game 2016 mid January Kirby finally showed-up HERE for February 3 recruiting signing date 2016. Since then Kirby has been # 3 # 1 and # 2 in recruiting. Because of this we are in the discussion.

https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/college-football-recruiting-schools-with-best-class-rankings-on-average-over-the-past-five-years/

Kirby is considered one of the top 3 teams with Clemson and Alabama for this up-coming season 2019-2020 season because of his 3 current years of recruiting # 3 # 1 and now # 2.  A college coach can be determined to be in fact a top coach by simply recruiting better talent than other college coaches and Kirby clearly is doing that.  His passing offense and his special teams are not up to those of other teams but his recruiting talent is.

2-19-2019

2019 Signing Class UGA 10 of the top 102 ESPN recruits nationwide joined The Mighty Georgia Bulldogs of Kirby Smart today because THEY feel that Kirby is always going to be right there playing for the national championship. And by nationwide we mean that of those top 10 ESPN recruits in the top 102 nationwide are 1 from Rhode Island 2 from Alabama 2 from Florida 1 from Texas 1 from Louisiana 1 from Mississippi and 3 from Georgia. Also it is not just that Kirby did so well it’s ALSO that Southern California SUCKED Florida State SUCKED Nebraska SUCKED South Carolina SUCKED and Ohio State SUCKED Notre Dame SUCKED Auburn SUCKED compared to Kirby. 16 out-of-state

# 6 for Kirby 2016

# 3 for Kirby 2017

# 1 for Kirby 2018

# 2 for Kirby 2019

Mark Richt NEVER did that.

Oh Mark Richt got told by his Athletics’ Director that it was totally unacceptable what happened ALL YEAR LONG at Miami whose recruiting SUCKED compared to Kirby.

Kirby recruited Florida better than Miami of Florida did.

Rivals has Kirby # 1 in the nation 2019 recruiting :

And we get Zamir White this year too from North Carolina ranked as 1 of the very top players ever at UGA.

2-7-2018

Alabama Clemson and Georgia are really the top 3 teams heading into this upcoming 2019- 2020 season. Mostly on the recruiting of Kirby # 3 two years ago # 1 last year and # 2 this year really as everyone sees this despite our very tough schedule including # 5 Notre Dame and # 7 Florida and # 9 Texas A&M. Of course we could face # 10 LSU or # 2 Alabama in The SEC Championship Game we’ve played-in the last 2 years and then Auburn is also receiving votes and we play them too.

Everywhere you turn # 2 recruiting class now 2019 and # 1 recruiting class last year 2018 and # 3 recruiting class the year before last 2017 have propelled UGA to # 3 team nationally right now. I fully expected Kirby to promote offensive coordinator position from within his existing staff as really Kirby makes all those decisions anyway.

Who plays how much what type of play we play for every down is and always has been just only Kirby making all those decisions NOT Mel Tucker and NOT Jim Chaney.  Mel Tucker didn’t get any pressure on opposing quarterbacks and left holes on his defense.  Jim Chaney all he did was want to run the ball to bolster Kirby’s defense as everyone knows a running offense is the best medicine for your defense.

1-12-2019

Nebraska signed 6 are 4-star 19 are 3-star none 5-star. Sad. Mark Richt signed 6 are 4-star 8 are 3-star rest 2-star Why even bother Mark Richt retire boy. Retire. Can’t compete with THAT bullshit recruiting Mark Richt. Oh boy Thomas Brown withering away down there. I told you so !

You told me how great Mark Richt would recruit the state of Georgia at Miami of Florida hurricanes.  I told you he would NOT.

Mark Richt’s best recruit from the state of Georgia is the # 751 best recruit in the nation Jalar Holley # 78 in the mighty state of Georgia.

247sports.com has him ranked the # 1106 prospect nationally.  Wee !  NOT in the top 100 best players in the state of Georgia.

Mark Richt also signed Jakai Clark out of the state of Georgia who 247sports.com ranked the # 1753 prospect nationally.

How are you going to beat # 1 team Mark Richt with # 1753 player ?

Did you think about that Mark Richt ?

Wasting your time over-charging Miami to be their “coach” with THIS type of recruiting ranked the # 33 recruiting class.  The # 37 recruiting class according to 247sports.com # 41 recruiting class for Mark Richt according to Rivals.com and the # 34 recruiting class for Mark Richt 2019 according to ESPN.

I told you we would recruit BETTER without Mark Richt.

Jesus Christ Mark Richt that SUCKS boy.

You are just ONE OF THOSE Pussies Mark Richt who holds-on to a job he can NOT do and sucks the energy out of them as an energy vampire.

FOOL.

Quit already.

Put yourself out of your God Damn MISERY Mark Richt.

Tells us again how you are not measured by your wins and losses Mark Richt ?

The kids sure seem to measure you that way.

Nebraska and Miami 2 football programs who USED to be good until they hired BAD COACHING.

But boy are you paying for it.  And in MORE ways than one.

Here.  Stick THIS up your God Damn dumb shit assholes Miami of Florida hurricane fans and that includes MOST ESPECIALLY those Georgia Bulldogs’ fans who said “NOW I am a Miami fan too.”

Kirby killed Mark Richt in recruiting ESPECIALLY in the states of Georgia and Florida.

12-29-2018

Out of the top 22 teams in the ESPN recruiting rankings The Mighty SEC has 11. Half of the top 22 teams are SEC 50%. Only 2 are ACC 9%. Only 2 are Big 12 which is then 9%. Only 3 are Big 10 which is 14%. 3 are Pac-12 also then 14%. 8 SEC teams are ranked in the AP Poll top 25 too to only 2 ACC and this is why. SEC kicks ass at recruiting and therefore SEC kicks-ass in bowl games and kicks-ass in Top 25 AP Poll rankings too. Where is all this bullshit about The Mighty SEC is being DOWN ? I seem to have missed that.

12-22-2018

Florida # 16 in recruiting zowie – that’s NOT going to get the job done is it ? Florida’s head coach has a BAD RECORD IN THE SEC – LOSING RECORD VS SEC DAN MULLEN 38-42 Bad 38 SEC wins 42 SEC losses Dan Mullen. Great hire ? NOT. I said the SAME about their previous hire as coach didn’t I ? NOT great hire. Ohio State # 12 Good gracious I told you those 2 hires were NOT GOOD # 12 Ohio State instead of # 3 every year BAD NEWS for Ohio State about THEIR NEW COACH with NO EXPERIENCE. Southern California # 21 oh dear This is another who EVERY YEAR was at the tippy top # 2 or # 1 now # 21 with BAD HIRE AS COACH not getting job done is he ? Miami of Florida # 38 Mark Richt. Is he retiring or just quit ? # 38 Mark Richt # 2 Kirby and the dumbasses told me they are NOW a Miami fan and how great Mark Richt is. Did you get that ?

Kirby goes out-of-state to sign 12 of his 20 joining us now. Kirby is # 2 overall as he was # 1 overall last year and # 3 overall the year before (and # 6 his partial first year.) Kirby is getting it done. Kirby went NATIONAL ! 15 of the top players in the country added today ! Great Coach can be seen that way just by being a GREAT RECRUITER. Kirby is that.

Nolan Smith 5-Star new goggle boy and top linebacker too out of Savannah # 1 overall

In all 20 signed with a dozen from other states

Kirby has really done it.  All over the country.  Kids buying-in.  A coach can be a great coach simply by recruiting top players.  He can call a bad game offensively and call a bad game special teams and with all this talent still be in fact a great coach.

Mark Richt NEVER did this.  Kirby has done this 3 times in a row # 2 # 1 and # 3 classes (# 6 Kirby’s first partial year.)

Trezmen Marshall was already a commitment to Georgia so what does this mean ? It means Kirby has kept in-state a most important linebacker and multi-talented athlete whom everyone wanted like Alabama for example. Where does Georgia stand ? We # 3 recruiting 2019 with 18 commitments because we don’t have more Scholarships to offer. There are only 13 scholarship seniors. 2 Juniors and 2 redshirt sophomores. That’s how I see it coming down. Kirby might sign another recruit or so but he’s already over isn’t he ? So we’re talking about players LEAVING. Got it ?

Scholarship Seniors 2018-2019 season who must give-up their scholarship :

  1. DaQuan Hawkins-Muckle DL
  2. Jackson Harris TE
  3. Kendall Baker OT
  4. Lamont Gaillard C
  5. Juwan Taylor ILB
  6. Ahkil Crumpton WR
  7. Jarvis Wilson DB
  8. Deandre Baker DB
  9. D’Andre Walker OLB
  10. Jonathan Ledbetter DE
  11. Natrez Patrick ILB
  12. Terry Godwin WR
  13. Jayson Stanley WR

JUNIORS

J.R. Reed

Isaac Nauta

REDSHIRT SOPHOMORES

Ben Cleveland

Demetris Robertson

The 13 scholarship seniors don’t have to go but they can’t stay on scholarship as they have exhausted it and free those up for Kirby.  But they are the ONLY ones.

12-17-2018

Georgia # 2 in national recruiting 2019 December 12 and Alabama is # 1 at average 93.73 while UGA’s Kirby is 93.58 although we only have 19 scholarships to 24 for Alabama. Last 3 classes # 3 UGA # 1 UGA now # 2 UGA after # 6 UGA Kirby’s first (half year.)

12-13-2018

Florida’s loss to Kentucky cements that The Georgia Bulldogs play Alabama in The SEC Championship Game again 2018. All the talk of the TRENDY pick to pick South Carolina proves that South Carolina NEVER HAS competed in football. They just haven’t. Meanwhile Southern California LOST. Notre Dame and Clemson proved we might be better than both of them too again 2018. LSU proved it will have to be beaten by Georgia Alabama and Auburn. Mississippi schools hanging tough with Kentucky and so are Vanderbilt and Missouri.

South Carolina has not been hanging with Kirby in recruiting.  They are NOT IN THE SAME BALLPARK with Kirby’s recruiting rankings of # 6 in 2016, # 3 in 2017 and now # 1 in 2018 with a strong # 1 still for 2019 possible again.

That is NOT South Carolina and it is NOT Florida.  It’s not LSU or Auburn either.  Certainly Missouri Vanderbilt and Kentucky can NOT hang with Kirby in his recruiting rankings either as Kirby is relentless in seeking-out top talent not just in-state in Georgia but also obviously nationally.

We own the city of Philadelphia.

We are the state champions of Tennessee 2018 obviously.

Florida schools can’t compete with Kirby now can they ?

Oklahoma ?  Oklahoma has NOT done what Kirby has done with their new head coach now has he ?

Southern Cal been doing this ?

Michigan ?

No.

One way a college football coach can be determined to be a good one is to have in fact better talent.

Justin Fields could not even get on the field until 13 minutes 22 seconds remaining as Jake Fromm came out on fire in the second half and swamped South Carolina and shut-up their crowd.

That is 3 in a ROW Kirby has won after Mark Richt lost 4 of this final 5 to South Carolina going into his final season.

South Carolina has LOST 4 in a  ROW to us.

The talent gap is WIDE.  As I told you pre-game despite all the bullshit how South Carolina was matching-up with us so well.

Uh no.  No they aren’t matching-up with us.  Are they Tim Tebow you God Damn Dumbass ?

No they’re NOT !

41-17 a two dozen swamping of South Carolina by Kirby just the way Kirby wanted it to go.

Precisely.

The nation was put on notice tonight.

Kirby’s back.

What does that say that the # 1 and # 7 best players in the state of Florida choose Georgia Bulldogs ? What does that say that the # 4 and # 13 best players in the state of Louisiana both choose Georgia Bulldogs ? What does it say that the # 3 and # 21 best players in the state of Tennessee the # 13 player in Mississippi and the # 1 in Rhode Island all 8 select us out-of-state of our 16 commitments to push us to # 2 best class in America for the 3rd time in a row for Kirby in recruiting ? It says that Kirby’s recruiting is truly nationwide. THAT is what it says.

https://247sports.com/Season/2019-Football/CompositeTeamRankings

Kirby goes out-of-state to pick up three more top picks overnight :

John Emery Jr 5-Star running back the # 4 best player in the entire state of Louisiana

.

.

Rian Davis one of the 5 best linebackers in the entire nation from Florida

.
.
Makiya Tongue  one of the 15 best athletes in the entire nation from Baton Rouge
.
.
What Kirby is doing here in Georgia in-state is being recognized by the best players in the nation.  When did The Mighty Georgia Bulldogs EVER go out-of-state to pick-up commitments from 3 like this in one day ?
.
.
NEVER.

Fourth 5-Star Travon Walker added for next Fall with classes starting now 2 weeks and 5 days from now moving Kirby to # 4 class 2019 beating-out Alabama and Clemson for this state’s # 1 overall player and # 7 best overall in the nation who also is a star Upson-Lee basketball player. The other schools have a LOT more available scholarships for 2019 than Kirby but at 6′ 5″ and 270 lbs. THIS is MAJOR GET now 4 of the top 10 in-state and 8 of the top 40 in-state for 2019.

When our 4th recruit of this stature and 9th of the ESPN Top 150 pushes us from # 11 all the way to # 4 ranked recruiting class for 2019 – obviously this is huge.

Kirby now has 11 of the ESPN coveted Top 300 overall football recruits for the next recruiting cycle.  There is no question that Kirby is just way better than Mark Richt at recruiting.

Mark Richt was an easy-going guy who let whatever happens happen with his hands-off approach to football as unimportant compared to leading the boys to Christ.

The top football players like this just want to win and when for his last 8 seasons here Mark Richt averaged 4 losses a season Mark Richt was a JOKE among the top football players.

Mark Richt might have only left Kirby with only a dozen scholarship seniors 2018 but Kirby is certainly doing a great job of filling those damn few open scholarships for next year with the best available he can get with his hands-on approach to seeking and going-after with dogged determination the elite in-state and across the nation.

# 6 class Kirby 2016

# 3 class Kirby 2017 (one service has Kirby at # 2)

# 1 class Kirby 2018

# 4 class Kirby 2019

With the general lack of seniors provided by Mark Richt for Kirby 2018 of a dozen only we can not expect to remain the # 4 class nationally 2019 but Kirby is doing all he can do to fill the slots available with the best men.

Congratulations to  Travon Walker and to Kirby in our quest for our football program to be better than averaging 4 losses a season for the last 8 years of the Mark Richt era 32 losses starting 2008 through when he was finally FIRED for it in 2015.

Kirby has lost 7 games his first two seasons and averages MORE than 10-wins a season which Mark Richt did NOT do.

21-7 Kirby with one national championship game

19-7 Mark Richt at Miami of Florida

.75 win percentage Kirby whom everyone said would play Hell matching Mark Richt’s

.73 win percentage Mark Richt at Miami of Florida since we FIRED him here

When we FIRED Mark Richt Mark Richt told little Aaron Murray that he was SURPRISED he was FIRED.

Readers of this blog were NOT.

It was way overdue.

Mark Richt averaged the # 8 recruiting class. Kirby is averaging # 3 recruiting class.

The difference is Kirby is KEEPING his recruits AND they are far better at the top-end.

Mark Richt LOST his recruits because of his lack of control LOSING CONTROL of his God Damn FOOTBALL PROGRAM.

It was some kind of a God Damn JOKE among the Mark Richt Apologists that Mark Richt was somehow NOT RESPONSIBLE for the actions of HIS recruits. Sure he was.  Mark Richt was 100 percent accountable for the fact that 63 of his last 146 signed scholarship recruits were kicked-off the team flunked-out never qualified failed to show up or quit.  I kept a RUNNING LIST which MANY BLOGS posted to YOUR CHAGRIN.  You joked that Mark Richt did NOT LOSE CONTROL of shit you said.  I remember you said that Mark Richt was NOT responsible for this.  He not only was but was FIRED for it you God Damn Dumbasses.

Mark Richt has only won 164 of 222 games a .7387 win percentage when you add back in what Mark Richt did 2001 through 2007 inclusive his first 7 years here when we ALL me included were NOT on Mark Richt’s case because we were winning.

But we quit winning.  It started with the Alabama black-out game at home and Mark Richt NEVER recovered from being FAVORED TO WIN and being blown-out nothing to 31 at halftime on national TV.

It was quite the statement with Mark Richt looking like he did not give a shit on the sidelines.

Mark Richt knows he LOST CONTROL of HIS GOD DAMN FOOTBALL PROGRAM.

He let the coaches do whatever the hell they wanted to do and the players as well.

He didn’t give a shit.

.7387 is NOT as good as Kirby’s .7500

# 8 is not as good average recruiting ranking as Kirby’s # 3 and a half either.

I told you we would recruit BETTER AFTER Mark Richt was FIRED.

You said he wasn’t going anywhere.

THIS is what YOU SAID you God Damn LIAR.

THIS is what I promised you and guaranteed to you would be the case today.

To which YOU SAID I was wrong and you a better Bulldog than I because I dared to want more.

You said Mark Richt was the greatest coach we ever had.

I said bullshit he was and should be FIRED for what he has NOT DONE after 2007 his last entire 8-year period here.

I was RIGHT and you gave me HELL that I was wrong.

You were WRONG.

Weren’t you all those years of OUT OF CONTROL FOOTBALL PROGRAM MARK RICHT RAN ?

Weren’t you punk ?

Go ahead.

You can say it.

We all know.

YOU SAID and still try to that Mark Richt averaged 10-win season.  Bullshit he did.  THAT was the problem. In 15-game seasons for the top teams which we were NOT he average 9.6 wins a year.  Liar.

Of 196 games at Georgia Mark Richt won 145 in 15 seasons obviously NOT 10-wins a year.

.7398 Mark Richt win percentage at Georgia (32 losses after 2007 avg 4 per season)

.7157 win percentage 73-32 Mark Richt’s last entire 8-year period here

You slapped each other on the back and said BAN THIS BOY’S POSTS as he is NOT a Georgia Bulldog but a Georgie tek fan despite the fact that you know and did know I am and have been a far better fan than you ever will be of my beloved football program of my alma mater.  You just didn’t want to hear that Mark Richt did NOT walk on God Damn Water.

63 of Mark Richt’s last 146 signed scholarship recruits either flunked-out were kicked-off failed to qualify never showed-up or quit 43% from 2010 to 2015 just were NOT HERE for Kirby.

THIS is what they don’t tell you when they KEEP BRINGING BACK UP THIS MARK RICHT SHITHEAD COACH and why they don’t.

Mark Richt not only did not recruit as well as Kirby and I told you we would be better at recruiting after we FIRED Mark Richt and lost 63 of his last 146 signed scholarship recruits but as a direct result thereof lost 18 of his last 24 games against the top 15 time game # 42 nationally at that with # 8 average recruiting class and threw in for good measure 12 losses (12) to unranked teams time of game or for season 2008 until he was FIRED for it.  You did NOT want to hear that.  So here we are years later and STILL you try to SAVE FACE discussing MY FIRING OF MARK RICHT.

There is NO END to your bullshit trying to save face about you standing behind Mark Richt and defending him against me.

So not only does Mark Richt NOT RECRUIT as well as Kirby does but Mark Richt LOST CONTROL of HIS GOD DAMN FOOTBALL PROGRAM and couldn’t keep his recruits inline nor his coaching staff and got FIRED for it to YOUR CHAGRIN and to my complete vindication.

Willie McClendon All-Time Great Georgia Bulldogs’ Football Star’s nephew Warren McClendon accepts Kirby’s Scholarship offer at 6′ 4″ and 318 lbs. # 21 best offensive tackle in the nation.

Kirby # 6 # 3 # 1 and now # 1 again 2019 in 247sports.com Composite Rankings with now 6 of the top 41 players in-state here in Georgia adds the # 3 best player in the state of Tennessee Memphis Bill Norton moves Georgia Bulldogs to # 1 in the nation now again for 2019

vols are just having an extremely bad time of it STILL with 2 of the top 3 now committed out-of-state LSU and Georgia winning big-time recruits in the state of Tennessee 2019.  In fact vols only have 1 of the top 50 recruits in the state of Tennessee committed to the vols so far.

https://247sports.com/Season/2019-Football/CompositeRecruitRankings?InstitutionGroup=Highschool&State=TN

By STARK CONTRAST the Mighty Georgia Bulldogs UGA have 6 of the top 41 in-state in Georgia already for 2019.

https://247sports.com/Season/2019-Football/CompositeRecruitRankings?InstitutionGroup=Highschool&State=GA

And now the 3rd best recruit overall in the state of Tennessee has committed to Georgia Bill Norton who is 6 feet 6 inches and 270 lbs Defensive End for our Defensive Line the # 128 overall best prospect in the nation.

Bill Norton makes Kirby # 1 again 2019 in 247sports.com Composite Rankings :

https://georgia.247sports.com/Season/2019-Football/Commits

The # 128 of 3000 top recruits nationwide 2019 Bill Norton has committed to the Mighty UGA Georgia Bulldogs 2019.  Fantastic Top 5 % prospect overall in the nation Bill Norton welcome sir.

Good job Kirby.  One of the ways a coach can be a good coach is to get top recruits.  In fact a good coach can do THAT and nothing else and be considered a top coach.

Some of the teams who did NOT do well in recruiting AT ALL whatsoever – teams who know they did NOT get the job done 2018

6-6 FSU # 11 recruiting rankings : No 5-Star recruits at all.

4-8 Nebraska # 22 recruiting rankings   :  No 5-Star recruits at all.

6-6 Ole Miss # 31 recruiting rankings   :   No 5-Star recruits at all.

7-5 Texas A and M # 17 recruiting rankings  :    No 5-Star recruits at all.

4-8 vols # 20 recruiting rankings   :   No 5-Star recruits at all.

4-7 Florida # 14 recruiting rankings   :    No 5-Star recruits at all.

8-4 Michigan # 21 recruiting rankings   :   No 5-Star recruits at all.

9-4 South Carolina # 19 recruiting rankings  :   No 5-Star recruits at all.

10-4 Auburn # 12 recruiting rankings  : No 5-Star recruits at all.

9-4 LSU # 15 recruiting rankings  : One (1) that is all 5-Star recruit.

10-3 Miami of Florida Mark Richt # 8 recruiting rankings with only one 5-star

12-2 Oklahoma # 9 recruiting rankings with one 5-star

13-1 Alabama # 7 recruiting rankings with two 5-star recruits

13-2 Georgia # 1 recruiting rankings  with eight 5-Star

There are a ton of teams who did NOT do well in recruiting 2018 and guess what ?  These teams all know they did not recruit well 2018.  It is going to COST THEM 2018 and 2019 and 2020 and 2021 and 2022 that they did not go out and get themselves the top football players for their team.  It’s the lifeblood and these teams did NOT get the job done.

Did they ?

Is it relevant that 6 of the top recruiters in the nation are on The Georgia Bulldogs’ Coaching Staff 2018 ?

You’re damn right it’s relevant.

There are different methods for becoming one of the top coaches and one of those methods is to recruit the top talent better than anyone else.  Frankly Kirby has done that 3 years in a row now and COUNTING.  Therefore THAT is one way a coach can be considered a GREAT COACH.  Just by recruiting the top talent.  I have made THIS POINT since the very day Kirby took this job.  Kirby can make mistakes in OTHER AREAS but if he recruits the best then THAT ALONE can be then that he is judged a great coach.  Just that.  Kirby is TEACHING YOU that now.  I said THIS statement in 2016 when he was going 8-5.  His recruiting THEN was the best UGA has ever had culminating in # 2 Scout.com ranking # 3 all others for 2017 recruiting and # 1 consensus 2018 recruiting.  Does THAT then ALONE make Kirby a GREAT COACH ?

You’re damn tooting it does.

Now Kirby gives them all a RAISE.  Did you know 6 of our coaches are determined to be the VERY BEST RECRUITERS 2018 by the prospects themselves ?

Nice.

Or did you want to tell us AGAIN that you want your son to play for Mark Richt ?

Bunch of dim-witted dumbasses. Who gives a shit where you want your son to play ?

THAT is not the relevant question.

Is it ?

It’s a LONG TIME since December 20 2017 when we got our first shot at this.  This time Kirby just went right back at it and disregarded that he does not even have a scholarship for these 26.  If they can play great football Kirby took them.  Sort it out later.

In the meantime NFL Wide Receiver Cortez Hankton joins Kirby to teach our wide receivers that which they to-date have NOT SHOWN and that is how to catch the football not drop it.  Thank you Cortez Hankton for helping.  Maybe you can SIGN some of the top receivers here too Cortez Hankton ?

These guys need to get on the field.  In 15-game season of 12-3 I think SEC East Champions 2018 season our opponents do NOT have these guys.  We must play them to replace what is I say the most NFL Draft Picks in the nation this up-coming NFL Draft for The Mighty Georgia Bulldogs.

Here are the number of four- and five-star prospects in the past five recruiting classes from each state in the SEC footprint. Note that this is a total, not how many signed with SEC schools.

• Louisiana: 73
• Alabama: 61
• Tennessee: 43

Remember again that THIS BLOG states that it does NOT matter where you are ranked in 5-star or 4-star or other star but where you are ranked nationally at your position that most reflects your recruiting rankings and therefore your expectations for future success.

There are only 15 who are 5-star so that group is too small to be useful at less than half a percent of the total prospects FBS Football each year.  There are 300 who are 4-star so that group is too big to be useful other than those 315 players are certainly very good football players.  But so too is # 316 and # 317 and THAT is the point.  # 316 is not as good as 4-star # 315 because # 316 is only a 3-star recruit ?  Bullshit.  THAT is NOT what the recruiting services said at all GridIron Now.com Mike Huguenin.  What they said instead by direct stark contrast is that recruit # 316 ranked the # 316 overall prospect in the nation and that he was the # 11 best QB in the nation.  Try to remember that.  There are 130 teams in FBS.  You got the # 11 QB # 316 overall prospect nationally.  Uh that would be VERY GOOD.  True it is not – not 5-star and is not 4-star but # 316 best national prospect overall and he # 11 best QB in the nation of over 3000 FBS recruits signed every single year.

Average Rankings 5 recruiting classes with redshirts who make-up each team 2018 :

# 2.00 Alabama

# 5.00 Georgia

# 5.60 LSU

# 8.40 Auburn

# 10.4 vols

# 13.8 Florida

# 16.4 Texas A&M

# 20.6 South Carolina

Therefore SEC East Champions The Mighty Georgia Bulldogs 12-3 overall record 2018-2019 season and Alabama SEC Champions 2018.  This is based upon the TALENT that all teams in The SEC have.

I am counting on Kirby to make our talent count.

Last year is OVER.  Let’s look at 2018 and see who makes up our team and how these players compare to Alabama and other powers in The SEC.

Average Recruiting Ranking # 5 UGA over the latest 5 years with redshirt making up our 2018 team.  We will win SEC East and lose to Alabama.  Last year I told you we would WIN SEC Championship.  I said it this time last year and every day thereafter.  I was right.

# 1 ESPN and # 1 Rivals while # 2 class according to 247Sports.com Composite which is supposed to be the average 1 and 1 average is 2 ? Anyway 9 of the top 38 overall best prospects in the nation. 6 of those 9 are 5-star. # 1 dual-threat QB. # 1 and # 3 running backs. # 1 outside linebacker. # 1 guard. # 2 guard. # 2 tackle. # 2 defensive end. Utterly amazing class. 2016 great # 6 Kirby. 2017 fabulous # 3 Kirby # 2 Scout. And now 2018 # 2 or # 1 depending on whose average you believe. I said 2017 our best UGA class all-time. This is better. Ok the following season after this season looks pretty darn good now too. Kirby replaced the 20 seniors he is losing – in fact MORE than replaced them. HOUSEHOLD NAMES the REST OF OUR LIVES this class. Kirby just added AT LEAST a dozen starters.

Rivals # 1 ranked recruiting class The Georgia Bulldogs : “Georgia landed two powerful offensive linemen in Jamaree Salyer and Cade Mays. And they could form a road-grading left or right side of the UGA line for a few years. Throw in Trey Hill and you have arguably the best 1-2-3 punch at offensive line in the country. The Bulldogs are the clear winner of the day after they also added defensive end Brenton Cox defensive back Divaad Wilson (Florida flip) and linebacker Channing Tindall kept running back James Cook (FSU flip) in the fold and flipped Alabama defensive back commitment Nadab Joseph. Kirby Smart is quickly moving into elite company as a recruiter. Nadab Joseph’s sudden flip from ‘Bama is probably the most surprising event of the day. I can’t stress how dominant UGA was.”

Kirby was # 6 recruiting class 2016, last year Kirby was # 3 recruiting class nationally and now 2018 Kirby has us all the way up to # 5 recruiting class 2018. It has been a long haul to get here as JORDAN DAVIS from NORTH CAROLINA all 6′ 6″ and 330 lbs. DT of him brings his considerable raw skills to our real need for him on the DL an area where we really just have NOT GOTTEN THE JOB DONE despite multiple TALENT at JORDAN DAVIS’ position. Yeah ! The one aspect of our football Program Kirby has definitely done well is RECRUITING. Getting them ready and on the field not so much for Kirby yet.

We need help at the Defensive Tackle Position and Jordan Davis gets penciled-in at DT for loads of playing time 2018 for us.  We lose so much after this season 20 whom Kirby STARTED for us here after this season are gone and in fact it could be 22 including 2 top juniors who might jump ship early after this season too.

https://247sports.com/Season/2018-Football/CompositeTeamRankings

There is NO QUESTION that Kirby can definitely RECRUIT

Recruiting Rankings :

# 6 for 2016

# 3 for 2017

# 5 for 2018

Now if Kirby can just get them out there on the field for us and get them going.

We really needed help this 2017 season at receiver on the OL and as it turned-out at the QB position.

Instead Kirby really WHIFFED on getting those guys ready and lucked-into Jake Fromm being ready when Kirby certainly did not give Jake Fromm ANY practices with the # 1 unit until AFTER Jacob Eason went down.

Our help on the OL Kirby only now is looking around game 11 to see if he can MAYBE play some bigger boys to help us.

And the receivers just have not been promoted forward despite the fact that they none of them recruited for 2017 could have been ANY WORSE than the ones Kirby already have all of whom just can not catch the ball to save their souls.

But it is on the OL where Kirby has WHIFFED the most 2017 getting those guys he recruited here into the game plan and on the field trying to help us.

It’s a shame.

We really needed them.

And we really needed Jordan Davis.

Thank you Jordan Davis.

# 5 so far 2018 on 247sports.com composite rankings for Kirby.  Outstanding.  Much better than Mark Richt.  I made this point EVERY DAY here after 2007 that whomever we hired would be a BETTER recruiter than Mark Richt who just didn’t care about winning as a priority in his life.

Florida is going down.

Florida would love to have our recruits including especially Jacob Eason.

Kirby now # 11 finally for 2018 recruiting Scout.com ranking. That is really fine recruiting. With 17 commitments and 20 we lose after the season all 20 of whom STARTED for Kirby we have MORE COMMITMENTS coming. Welcome to Adam Anderson Rome Georgia ! Selects UGA over Clemson LSU Alabama vols all whom gave him offers. Tall this U.S. Army All-American can sack the opposing QB. 247Sports.com Composite Recruiting 2018 Ranking UGA Bulldogs # 6 now.

I am sorry that our quarterback next year got injured with a broken index finger but it is not an ACL or leg will heal in a couple of months and he will be fine, so this is all good.

Georgia is NOT Alabama ?  So what ?  We can still beat them and are as good if not better than every other program at beating Alabama.  Anyway I have predicted SEC Championship for us 2017.  I could care what someone at AJ-C DawgNation or some coach we beat has to offer-up on that either.  We CAN win.  Get over it.

Why can we win ?  Because we are REALLY good.  And because we do NOT have Mark Richt who did not give a shit about winning here any longer.

I wish Kirby had more sense of urgency about winning himself.  I wish he was not all about some process but about 2017 and doing the best we can 2017 by playing EVERYONE.

# 11 UGA https://www.scout.com/Season/2018-Football/ScoutTeamRankings

# 6 UGA https://247sports.com/Season/2018-Football/CompositeTeamRankings

# 12 UGA ESPN but only shows 16 commitments of our 17 http://insider.espn.com/college-sports/football/recruiting/classrankings/_/class/2018

# 9 Rivals UGA but only shows 16 of our 17 commitments so ESPN and Rivals are NOT RELIABLE rankings https://n.rivals.com/team_rankings/2018/all-teams/football

This man might lead the nation in sacks and as you know that is a critical element in being selected to play in the NFL as well – so if ESPN and Rivals BOTH fail to list this man as a commitment because he committed to UGA prior to this and then to LSU – then that makes ESPN and Rivals BOTH unreliable.

Frankly this is EXACTLY the type Bullshit ESPN and Rivals have ALWAYS PULLED that has prevented ME from listing THEM either one on this site as a top recruiting service such as Scout.com and such as 247Sports.com Composite Rankings both of whom I consider MORE RELIABLE and ones you see me quote daily.

If you can not even get the number of commitments right what freaking good are you as a recruiting rankings’ service ?  Tell me that ?  Go ahead.  I will wait.  This is now 8 hours after his commitment and neither ESPN nor Rivals has his commitment on their sites.  That’s bullshit.

Kirby now has two (2) of the top 316 recruits in the nation for next year 2018 which is now the # 26 recruiting class for 2018. This despite we are the 3rd best state for recruits in the nation and despite the fact that we have 20 openings for 2018 representing the largest group of NFL Draft Picks 2018.

It is a really fine blend of existing talent and returning NFL Draft Picks for this 2017 season.

This one-year window.

Surely 2018 can not possibly be a better season for The Georgia Bulldogs in football not losing 20 who STARTED for Kirby after this 2017 season.

I remember the solar eclipse of 1979 which was 38 years ago in the Spring.   We were in Florida and watched with pinholes.  During the day it just turned into night.  Dogs and cats sleeping with each other.

Part of your problem in discussing recruiting is that you don’t know jack shit about recruiting and NEVER WILL. We are # 27 in recruiting 2018 and have in that recruiting class for next year one player ranked in the top 311 in the nation. One. We had last year 2017 fifteen in the top 100 nationally. Now we have one in the top 311 for next year 2018. We have 20 players GONE after this season and currently have only 84 on-scholarship because several FAILED TO QUALIFY 2017 and one was ARRESTED. That is 3 of the top 15 players in the nation Kirby signed here 2017 who are NOT here and who will NOT be here 2017. One who will NEVER be here. And NOW for 2018 WITH THAT as a backdrop Kirby has 1 of the top 311 players nationally 2018. Did you get it that time ? Kirby gets 20 more open scholarships for 2018 for the 20 players 2017 who are leaving all of whom were starters here for Kirby. We have to sign a full complement of 25 recruits 2018 and have only one of the top 311 recruits. We are in a world of hurt 2018.

You guys write blog post after blog post MAKING EXCUSES for 2018 recruiting and you know nothing.

2018 is our worst recruiting class of all time.

You are absolutely without knowledge of recruiting whatsoever.

You have no idea about which you write on recruiting.

See if you can follow this ?

(1) Kirby signed 15 top 100 players 2017

(2) Kirby has 1 commitment of the top 311 players 2018

(3) Kirby currently does NOT have a full complement of 85 scholarship players for 2017

(4) Kirby loses 20 who STARTED for Kirby here after this 2017 season

(5) Kirby is expected to have 4 more attrition between now today and 2018.

(6) Kirby has 84 on scholarship today and one open scholarship

(7) Kirby gets 20 more open scholarships for 2018 for the 20 players 2017 who are leaving all of whom were starters here for Kirby.

(8) Kirby has 4 more attrition expected between now and 2018

(9) 4 + 20+ 1 = Kirby has 25 Scholarships open available for 2018

(10) Kirby has one (1) top 311 nationally recruit committed for 2018.

What is WRONG with this picture besides your bullshit excuses about these KNOWN FREAKING FACTS ?

You just don’t get it and you NEVER will. Quit telling ANYONE that 2018 recruiting is just fine for Kirby.  It is anything but dumbasses.

7-26-2017

Kirby # 6 recruiting 2016 and # 3 recruiting 2017. Kirby is even # 2 recruiting 2019. So what is the problem now that Kirby is # 52 officially for next year 2018 ? What does # 52 for 2018 say about Kirby’s commitment to the recruits themselves ?

# 6 ranked recruiting class Kirby 2016

# 3 ranked recruiting class Kirby 2017 Scout.com # 2 ranked class

# 2 ranked recruiting class Kirby 2019

# 52 ranked recruiting class Kirby 2018

http://247sports.com/Season/2018-Football/CompositeTeamRankings

What is wrong with this picture ?

Kirby loses 20 who started for him after this 2017 season so the openings are there big-time after this 2017 season for recruits yet Kirby is # 52 for next year despite this drop-off in talent after this season with all these openings.

THIS is what is wrong with this picture.

This is quite the statement by the 2018 prospects to Kirby that Kirby just does not make positive statements about his 2016 recruits nor his 2017 recruits and frankly that Kirby has done all he can do to NOT play either.  Kirby is going to have to FIX THIS 2017 by PLAYING his 2016 and 2017 recruits because after this season all he is going to have are our 2016 and 2017 recruits – unless of course Kirby does in 2018 that which he has FAILED to do 2016 and failed so far to do 2017 either and that is PLAY HIS DAMN FRESHMEN – a  particular problem ONLY Kirby suffers from in 2016 fifty years after freshmen were not allowed to play.  Then maybe if Kirby PLAYS his freshmen from 2016 and 2017 here in 2017 then maybe Kirby can finally get some 2018 recruits.

Right now that is NO on all 3 accounts.

Nowadays Freshmen either make or break your team.  If you don’t play them your team SUCKS and if you do then your team is FAR BETTER OFF than if you do not.

Instead at The University of Georgia we have dimwits who call themselves our fans who say Oh don’t start a freshman at Georgia for God’s sake – no freshman ever did diddle-e-squat in The SEC ever.

What total hogwash.

Yet THIS is where we are 2017.  Kirby either plays his 2016 and 2017 OL recruits or frankly Kirby’s entire career is on the line.

We suffer as fans of a program here at Georgia holding our program back having NO EXPECTATIONS of our program and settling for mediocrity.

I don’t know what YOU call 37 losses the latest 9 years but I call it AWFUL averaging MORE than 4 losses a year for 9 years and NOT GETTING ANY BETTER.

Here we are with all these hosses to play on the OL 2017 and Kirby saying EVERYTHING BUT that they are the ones he will rely on but instead itty bitty teenie weenie little guys on the OL who could not even get on the damn field last year with that crappy assed OL we trotted out there last year.  So this year they are world beaters Kirby tells us all Spring then G-Day they SUCKED like I told you they would all last year and all this year so far.

The season – this SEC Championship Season for UGA – hangs in the balance on what Kirby does and does not do to get his hosses on the OL he himself recruited here 2016 and 2017 out there playing on the OL instead of relying on the back-ups to those who did NOT get the job done 2016 and damn sure did NOT show shit G-Day either.

Contrary to the every word out of Kirby’s mouth on the topic.

Dixie Highway to Chicago is I-75. If you go anywhere by car you go straight here and even more so by plane. High School football is played here. THIS is high school football and we the hotbed of college football fans with more fans here than anywhere in the world. We are the Heart of Dixie and we are the Heart of High School Football and we are the largest college football fan base. You have to come through here and we’re The Empire State of The South. The Dixie Highway does not even go through Alabama.

With 20 out-going players who are STARTERS for Kirby 2017 – why is it Kirby has only one commitment for next year then a 5 feet 10 inch tall cornerback speedster ?

Can ANYONE help me understand this disconnect please ?

We host the national championship in college football this season at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium the World’s Most Expensive Stadium ever yet we as the King of College Football have one commitment for 2018 with 20 Starters from this 2017 team gone after this season.

One commitment.

Some teams have 17 commitments.

Some teams have 15 commitments and some 13 commitments and we have one.

Surely the players know we lose 20 STARTERS after 2017 and need their commitment right ?

Lifeblood and best indicator of future success and now Seth Emerson writes today : “Notre Dame averages # 12 and Georgia averages # 6 over the latest 4-year period making up these teams except for Redshirt Seniors 2017 using the 247Sports.com Composite Rankings” but if Kirby does not play them with his obsession against Freshmen practicing with the # 1 unit again all Spring 2017 what difference does it make ?

You simply put can not waste an entire year of freshmen in big-time college football any longer in 2017 but this average ranking of # 12 for Notre Dame the latest 4 years making up their team except for redshirt seniors 2017 really pinpoints why Notre Dame is NOT and HAS NOT BEEN any damn good at all for a long time now.

But what about Georgia ?

Georgia Seth Emerson points-out today averages # 6 for the latest 4-year period making up this 2017 Kirby team except for his redshirt seniors.

It’s a farce that Notre Dame deserves to be completely separate from the ACC in football ONLY.  One of the 65 teams making up the POWER FIVE but not part of the ACC.

But again what about Georgia ?

Well first we had Mark Richt who well over 40 % of his recruits just simply were not on the team any longer most due to being kicked-off quit flunked-out or never qualified and now we have Kirby who recruits all this talent then brags to the press about how bad ALL FRESHMEN are and that he will not play them and then is forced to because well Mark Richt ran-off all the talent he “recruited” here.

59 of Mark Richt’s 118 signed scholarship recruits 2010 through 2015 just simply were NOT on this team making up over 40 % of his team and now Kirby hates on Freshmen making up over 30 % of his team.

https://www.dawgnation.com/football/georgia-notre-dame-recruiting-comparing-past-five-years

Which is worse a coach who believes that there is something besides winning that’s important here at Georgia as Mark Richt REPEATEDLY stated or Kirby who categorically held-back his freshmen 2016 and then threw them into the fire anyway having WASTED all Spring 2016 and all Fall Camp 2016 not getting them any snaps with the # 1 unit.

Kirby NEVER had any choice  but to play and use 30% of his players – nearly one-third.

The FRESHMEN.

Why 30 % ?

Because 30 % of your players ARE FRESHMEN.

Both approaches are a failed model Mark Richt with well over 40% of his players he signed here as scholarship recruits GONE from the team and Kirby holding-back the very ones he ultimately had to rely on anyway as this blog told him this time last year.

Why else would a team who historically averages # 7 recruiting class Georgia UGA Bulldogs be in fact averaging MORE than 4 losses a season for 9 damn years now after 2007 ?

Why in the name of God ?

Because we are NOT USING OUR TALENT.

https://www.dawgnation.com/football/georgia-notre-dame-recruiting-comparing-past-five-years

Forty Percent 59 of the 146 Signed Scholarship Recruits beginning 2010 through 2015 were either kicked-off the team failed to qualify flunked-out never showed-up or quit which got us in such a mess that we did NOT have what we needed for 2016.

If you’re a college football program who ranks very high in recruiting every year then you will be able to compete annually because Scout.com Rivals.com ESPN RecruitingNation.com and 247Sports.com Composite all 4 do a far better job of evaluating talent than any other method of projecting future success.

You’re far more likely to make the NFL and to be drafted if you’re a 5-Star Recruit who are the top one percent of the 4 recruiting services’ rankings. If you’re a team without any 5-Star signee then you’re not going to play in the National Championship Game.

The recruiting services began keeping their rankings 2002. Prior to that they published them but did not retain them. Starting 2002 no team has played in the National Championship Game without any 5-Star signee contributing. So for 15 years now not one NCG participant has failed to have one of these top one percent prospects.

Recruiting Rankings mean so much to the future success in the college football game that it goes much further than 5-Star or top one percent prospects.

Take Top 10 recruiting service rankings for example. Also starting 2002 all participants in the National Championship Game have had their program’s recruiting ranking ranked in the Top 10 in at least one of the previous 4 rankings before making the big game except for Oregon in 2010 and again Oregon in 2014. And Oregon ranked # 12 or # 13 for 2010 2011 and 2012.

So the next time you find yourself stating to the public on the Internet that you don’t follow recruiting or that recruiting does not matter that it is all a crap shoot anyway think about how totally uniformed you are to make such silly statements about yourself and your knowledge of the game of college football.

And it is not just 5-Star recruits and being ranked in the Top 10 classes playing in the National Championship Game either. It’s pervasive across the board for all college football programs and for all rankings of the prospects and subgroups of prospects that the recruiting rankings are the single-most significant factor in determining future success.

If you’re just outside that group of the number 32 each year of 5-star prospects as the top one percent prospects rankings but in the top ten percent of the 3200 recruits who sign annually with the 129 Division 1-A FBS schools 2017 then you’re a 4-Star. And you’re far more likely to have success personally and far more likely for your school to be successful if you’re one of the 5-Star or 4-Star Recruits. There are 3200 FBS signings each year and of those 32 are 5-Star and 300 are 4-Star. And while that leaves over 3000 annually who are not 5-Star or 4-Star all the rest of these prospects have a far lesser chance of contributing greatly to the program’s success. They don’t get their team to the National Championship Game they don’t indicate that their team is a Top 10 recruiting rankings program capable of propelling their program to success and you’re so far less likely to be drafted by the NFL or make it into the NFL.

It’s a matter of odds. The facts prove beyond all reasonable discussion that if 5-Star and 4-Star recruits are far more likely to go on to the NFL and to be drafted than if they are just even 3-Star recruits or 2-star recruits or even unranked recruits yet it is these very 3-Star 2-Star and Unranked prospect who make-up 90% of all prospects.

This blog who has followed this recruiting ranking industry from the beginning has cautioned you that it is not just 5-Star or 4-Star that is important but their overall ranking number at their position which should be followed. If a player is ranked # 2 nationally overall as a QB then that player is not only a 5-Star but more importantly from my point of view he is # 2 of 129 possible quarterbacks you might have recruited and signed. Now if you think the recruiting services don’t know what they are talking about then you’re talking about something in public that proves just how poorly educated you are on the topic to even talk about the game you purport to try to discuss in public with others. You would be far better served to read than to write.

You see ?

The recruiting ranking at their position indicates to you or should approximately what they rank of the 129 teams competing to try to find a player for that position. Since 5-Stars are one percent of 3200 prospects annually 4-Stars are the top ten percent of the 3200 prospects then 90 percent are 3-Star or below. Therefore where they are ranked at their position as # 2 best nationally quarterback is far more important and telling than to lump them all in a subgroup of 3-Star which is by definition a very large group.

Since this is then the BEST INDICATOR OF FUTURE SUCCESS for the prospect’s team AND for the prospect personally then THIS is the Lifeblood of any college football program and is what separates the great coaches from the run-of-the-mill coaches because it is possible therefore to be considered a good coach simply because the coach signed top ranked recruits and recruiting classes.

2017 Kirby signed 15 players ranked in the top 100 overall nationally regardless of position.  True 2018 is not the same at all but then again Kirby did lose 5 games 2016 and recruits do want to go play with teams who are doing well.  If Kirby can beat teams such as Notre Dame vols Florida Auburn and not lose to 6-7 teams like Kirby did to Vandie 2016 in his 8-5 season then recruits will once again flock here because for a football school UGA is one of the very best educations any football school can offer the prospect.

Kirby is going to have to do a better job of highlighting his top ranked recruits than he has like he himself doesn’t give a shit about their rankings either.

Until he sees otherwise the recruiting rankings have proved so far that they know a LOT more about the players than Kirby does.

I am not happy with Kirby. Are you happy with Kirby ?

I am NOT satisfied with Kirby.  That is the message I want to send to Kirby with all his SECRETS about this football program.  Does he really think he can control what we think about The Mighty Georgia Bulldogs ?

23 seniors 2017 for Kirby and how many commitments does Kirby have to REPLACE these 23 after the season while some schools have 19 commitments already ?  One commitment a 3-star linebacker. None committed G-Day in our SPARSE not impressive crowd.  17 of the 23 seniors are STARTERS.

Kirby is the # 66 Scout.com Recruiting Ranking 2018 :

I did not enjoy Vandie 6-7 beating us whom 3 cupcakes beat.

This recruiting is a RED FLAG.

His secret practices and NO NEWS for The Bulldog Nation has stymied interest garnering only 25 maybe 30 thousand at most to G-Day.

According to Coaches’ Hot Seat dot com Kirby is # 31 on the Coaches’ Hot Seat today on the edge of the hot seat.

The question is are you satisfied with Kirby ?

Kirby has been critical of EVERY player we have.

Kirby has NEVER coached an offense or special teams and has no clue to offensive game strategies.

Frankly Kirby has misjudged some major talent on this roster except for on defense where he seems to recognize talent.

I’d say his honeymoon is over.

How can Kirby have 23 seniors 17 of whom are STARTERS when there are Juniors who will declarer after 2017 season is over too and have one commitment for 2018 ?

How any of this ?

4-28-2017

The SEC East has 3 of the top 4 WORST under-achievers in Final AP Poll rankings in ALL of college football starting 2002 through today and yet we recruit at the top of the recruiting rankings 2002 through today. This chart proves we CONTINUE to WASTE TALENT here at Georgia and NOT succeed DESPITE all our talent. How did Kirby do and is he doing again now 2017 ? It’s a pretty simple question to answer.

Difference between Final AP Poll Ranking Points and Final Rivals’ Recruiting Ranking Points:

Top-10 Underachievers (2002-2016)

Difference Team AP Poll points Rivals’ points
-159 Tennessee 46 205
-140 Florida State 143 283
-131 Florida 132 263
-109 Georgia 162 271
-108 Texas A&M 36 144
-104 Notre Dame 77 181
-101 Miami (Fla.) 82 183
-101 UCLA 36 137
-95 Auburn 131 226
-84 So. California 224 308

This chart shows that we have recruited very well since Rivals and Scout.com began keeping their final rankings online starting 2002 for all to compare over time with 271 Rivals’ points.  There are only 2 others on this chart who have recruited better than UGA starting 2002.

This chart also shows that despite all our talent here The Georgia Bulldogs have only 162 Final AP Poll points starting 2002.

The difference between the final Rivals’ Recruiting Rankings 2002 through today and the Final AP Poll Rankings 2002 through today is minus 109 poll points. -109 UGA.

And this chart shows The SEC East has 3 of the WORST 4 underachievers with all this talent we have here at Georgia and continue to have losing 5 games this latest season last year even.

I realize that we have an Athletics’ Director for this football school here who has no idea about college football with no experience and no knowledge of anything football related but there is no excuse for us to recruit so well and continue to do so poorly.

I knew it would happen and indeed it did yesterday that one of our fans pointed-out how well Mark Richt is recruiting next year 2018.  He had plenty of talent here.  That was not his problem.  But with all the myriad of stories of how poorly Kirby is doing with not only the press but in also in terms of basic choices by Kirby in players he is preparing to start again now 2017 and that he is just continuing all this unabated it was inevitable that the Mark Richt Apologists would come out of the woodwork to say see I never wanted Mark Richt fired in the first place.

Kirby is just continuing the crappy coaching of Mark Richt.

Yes Kirby is a poor coach unprepared to be a head coach.

You see that across the board in EVERYTHING he says and does and in his results.

That does NOT mean that we should not have fired Mark Richt.

Jesus Christ do you really believe that you can do away with the wealth of knowledge of Mark Richt’s results after 2007 until we finally had to fire him?

Yes.

Yes you actually do think you can TELL US ALL NOW that you NEVER wanted Mark Richt fired – now that Kirby is being proven as NOT PREPARED TO BE HEAD COACH.

Neither were any good as you can CLEARLY see if you only get your head out of your ass.

The school who despite all its recruiting prowess here can not do well with them while we sit and twiddle our thumbs about well let’s see is Greyson Lambert a better QB than Jacob Eason ?  Yes I think he is.  I will start Greyson Lambert.  Therefore I will NOT prepare Jacob Eason and hold him back.

I said Mecole Hardman Jr. if he is elite rated the consensus # 1 athlete in the nation I will be able to tell after 5 or 6 practices.  Well after several games I was redshirting him.  I kept telling the press that we won’t even consider him on offense despite the obvious glaring hole that I was unable to recruit a top receiver for the # 2 rated QB nationally.

Now this season I have banned everyone from talking including the press itself which 6 of the most prominent members of yesterday banded together to tell Greg McGarity that they will report what they see.  Pardon us.  And what is it that we’ve continued to see from 2002 through today pray tell ?

(1)Jacob Eason clearly was the only hope for us last season not Greyson Lambert

(2) Mecole Hardman Jr. has practiced EVERY practice with the receivers 2017

We suck at PLAYING our best 11 players and preparing them to play even if we have an obvious hole and even if it is obvious whom it is who should be filling that hole.  That is OUR PROBLEM.  And continues to be.  Our coaches do NOT recognize talent quickly enough.  They see what we see.  They just don’t recognize what they see.  You need perspective to see talent.  As seasons’ ticket holders for the Atlanta Falcons for decades I can assure you I clearly know an NFL player when I see one.  They STAND-OUT.

There is NO QUESTION of this POOR COACHING for Georgia Florida or Tennessee for the entirety of the time 2002 through today.  And there is just as much NO QUESTION that Kirby coached this team crappy last year too.

I don’t frankly give a shit that Florida and the vols are BOTH in the top 3 worst coached football programs for 16 years in a row now.

The issue I have is that EVEN THEY beat us.  We lost to BOTH with Kirby.

Does banning news make Kirby or the team better ?  Certainly NOT.  It is a weak attempt to CONTROL.

Just how easy has this been and continues to be to beat these underachieving SEC East teams in The SEC East ?

Kirby DAMN WELL better get his ass to Atlanta 2017 at the Atlanta Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Now I do care about how we APPEAR to the press too that our coach is this poorly prepared to even talk with the press but then again I never suspected for one moment that Greg McGarity would actually TEACH Kirby anything.

That leaves it to me.  Here on my blog.  Me to now have to teach you the facts.  We continue to be one of the weakest divisions in all of college football and yet we have not won The SEC in 2016 2015 2014 2013 2012 2011 2010 2009 2008 2007 2006 and in fact in 2005 we ended-up in EVERY poll the # 3 SEC team.  This is the 3rd longest streak in our entire history of not winning The SEC.

Is it because we can not recruit ?

No.

It’s because despite all this talent we CONTINUE to NOT PLAY our best 11.

This chart proves it because the recruiting services have proven beyond all doubters otherwise that they do in fact a top-notch job of highlighting the top players.  The NFL agrees with them and the national champions come from these doing well in the recruiting rankings’ services.

Our coaches both Mark Richt and Kirby Smart have failed to play the players rated well by the services and they go on to the NFL and do well there while less talented teams beat us here and they accomplish NOTHING here.

Kirby last year for example said about our 2 top-rated players Jacob Eason and Mecole Hardman Jr. that they were in fact NOT his choices.

Now he takes that ALL BACK and says they are.

This blog said that all year last year – didn’t I ?

What is Kirby doing with this recruiting class 2017 ranked # 2 nationally by Scout.com and # 3 by Rivals and # 3 by ESPN RecruitingNation ?  Is he PLAYING  them ?  Is he PREPARING them to play even in the holes our team CLEARLY has ?

The day after tomorrow you can judge for yourself.

He is playing the wrong guys and it will be clear to all of us the day after tomorrow because Kirby is playing the ones against the ones.  And the twos against the twos.

The twos will stand-out but they will NOT be prepared and will NOT play 2017 any more than Kirby did in 2016 with that crappy-assed OL yet all 3 Kirby signed 2016 to help on the OL all 3 got one snap combined all of 2016.

Come Fall Camp Kirby AGAIN will NOT prepare this fantastic best-ever UGA football recruiting class to play 2017.

He thinks he has ANOTHER throw-away season.

That he can muck-up 2017 and you will give him ANOTHER Mulligan.

Like the one touch Mecole Hardman Jr. got all of 2016.

Like all the days from January 12 through September 6 when Greyson Lambert was STILL practicing with the ONES.

You can watch this AGAIN the day after tomorrow yourself.  And you can report it online in whatever manner it is you speak on the Internet.  No one can stop you.

What will you report ?

That we with all this talent stockpiled here since 2002 don’t play them.  That they CONTINUE to be the players who are NOT the ones but the twos.

We can not even figure-out who should be playing.

That is what Kirby does NOT want reported.

If you recognize who are your best players and get them on the field to fill your holes you will do better and be judged a good coach.

If ALL you do is to RECRUIT and don’t even prepare them to play then throw them into the fire anyway without any preparation and without coaching them then all you have done is to recruit well.

But how is Kirby doing COACHING ?

Surely by now you determined that Mark Richt was NOT the answer and NEITHER is Kirby.

The very definition of “coaching” is to get more from less.  Here for 16 years and counting we get LESS with MORE.

Just imagine that Kirby lost to 6-7 Vandie whom 3 cupcakes beat.

Does it matter that Mark Richt is ranked # 1 for recruiting 2018 ?  Hell no.  He had more than enough talent here and could not get the job done # 42 in won/lost vs top 15 teams after 2007 yet # 7 average in recruiting rankings.  Talent was not his problem.  It was PLAYING the talent coaching them getting them prepared and on the field to do well.

Does Kirby help his situation with the latest firestorm that 6 of the most prominent members of the press had it OUT with Greg McGarity yesterday that they WILL report that which they do see.

So will I.

I have continued to.

Haven’t I ?

Kirby is a bad coach and so was Mark Richt.

If THIS is what you EXPECTED to be my summary Kirby of you banning EVERYTHING about our football program we are all TRYING to be the fans of then congratulations Kirby for you sir have succeeded.

You’re not prepared to be our head coach Kirby.

Come back when you are.

And STFU about what I can and can NOT say.

I can say you are trying to cover-up how poorly you are coaching.

And there is NOT a DAMN thing you can do about it Kirby.

# 2 ranked Recruiting Class Nationally : # 2 USA Today – # 2 Campus Insiders – # 2 Sports Illustrated – and # 2 Scout.com When did Mark Richt ever do this with 15 of the top 100 overall nationally in 247Sports.com ESPN RecruitingNation or Scout.com ? Answer he NEVER did.

He was not cold-blooded enough to recruit like this and I told you we would recruit better without him :
