The men’s win over Georgie tek yellowjackets is our best win of the year, but they are going to fire Brian Gregory as soon as they can afford it. We have a full squad and are ready for SEC play. UGA Hoops’ Dawgs are # 40 in the RPI, on target for the NCAA Tourney. It seemed like we would never get over the Jim Harrick, Sr. Jr. show, hires that were made by Mike Adam$ at the specific advice by Vince Dooley that he had “reservations.” He was quite open about all that before Mike Adam$ insisted he knew he was good at Pepperdine. We have turned the corner finally this season. We have a very good team, as we all saw yesterday.
The ladies are doing quite well. Amazing when we have such a challenge shooting the ball. The Lady Bulldogs are # 6 RPI today ! We beat the RPI # 9 and RPI # 8 this season ! And, the Lady Bulldogs also beat Georgie tek yellowjackets who have no good win and go into ACC play totally unprepared.
Our football team has only 1 game left before all this crap is behind us, and it has been now 4 weeks and one day now since Coach Kirby Smart’s predecessor was FIRED, with his announced by ESPN 36 hours later. We have loads at talent at running back, and I have no concern is this area at all. Our Dirty Dozen Running Backs have NOT been given the football; but, again all of this is behind us after just one more game – a game where NEITHER opponent has beat a Power 5 Conference foe all season with a winning record. Maybe something can be done about our 5 wins in 16 games at the Gator Bowl by Coach Kirby Smart’s predecessor – fired 4 weeks and 1 day ago now. Our recruiting class is ranked # 14 with no one committed since we lost 3 of 4 games in October ! I would like to beat Penn State to even our record with them All-Time.
For the new year, I’d like to see Jake Eason, whom Coach Kirby Smart turned-around despite the dumbass move of his predecessor to try to save his job by flying out there the very day before he was fired by a boss whom he reported to for 6 full complete seasons and therefore knew it, become UGA’s # 5 NFL 1st Round 1st Pick in the NFL Draft. We have 4 previous NFL Draft # 1 picks overall.
(1) Who is Georgia – what have we accomplished – why have expectations?
(2) Who is Mark Richt – what has he really done after 2007 ?
Why did Georgia Bulldog coach Mark Richt quit ?
He did NOT quit. He was FIRED.
This blog for 8 long years told you why he had to and guaranteed that he WOULD QUIT. In fact, this blog ALSO stated the date he would quit – right after the Georgie tek game 2015 where he looked like crap AGAIN !
He was given no choice. We had offered the job to Coach Kirby Smart and Mark Richt was being fired for averaging 4 LOSSES a season for 8 years now. After 2007.
He also was # 40 in Win Percentage vs the Top 15 after 2007. For # 11 All-Time Wins’ UGA.
Run out of town on a rail.
Who are we ? What have we accomplished ? Why should we expect more than averaging 4 losses per season over the most-recent 8-year period ?
Sports Illustrated Zac Ellis :
” I used to consider Texas the best job in the country, but now I think it’s Georgia, followed by Ohio State. Why Georgia? My top criterion is access to players relative to competitors, and Georgia is in a really enviable position. In the past five recruiting classes, an average of 113.6 high-schoolers from the state of Georgia have signed with Power Five schools each year. (Note that we’re talking Power Five, not all of the FBS.) That number is third behind Texas (179.4) and Florida (164.4) and ahead of California (100.4). The competition between state schools in those states is far more intense than it is in Georgia. With Georgia Tech running the option, the schools aren’t really going head-to-head on offensive players because of different needs, and Georgia is the bigger brand name. It’s also in the conference that more recruits consider desirable. In Georgia, they grow up wanting to be Bulldogs. The state of Ohio produced 64.6 Power Five signees a year over that same five-year period.”
“Do Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Tennessee, South Carolina and others come in and poach Georgia talent? Absolutely. But there’s such an abundance of it in the state that Georgia can afford to lose a few top in-state targets and still field a team capable of competing for SEC and national titles. Alabama and Auburn have to invade Georgia. During that five-year period, their state produced 36.4 Power Five signees a year. People talk about LSU’s monopoly in its state, but the numbers between Louisiana and Georgia aren’t even close. Louisiana’s average number of Power Five signees during that span was 38.6 a year.”
“Add to this great facilities (now that the Bulldogs are building an indoor), great tradition…possibly the best college town in America and the fact that they play in the easier division of the nation’s deepest conference. That’s the recipe for a great job that just about every coach in America would crawl over broken glass to take.”
“I know no school president or athletic director will ever say it out loud, but coaches almost always get fired because of their win-loss record—not because they didn’t mold enough men.”
ESPN Alex Scarborough: “Let’s be clear, they’re both great jobs. If LSU and Georgia are open, the line of candidates will stretch as far as the eye can see. But for me, the question of which job is more appealing is easy. It’s Georgia, and I don’t think it’s close. The support is there from fans and administration. You’re recruiting in a state that produces the most SEC players of any in the country. And you don’t have to bother with the West.”
ESPN Edward Aschoff: “To me, Georgia would be the better job. It’s in the heart of one of the Southeast’s most fertile recruiting grounds. Atlanta is right down the road, and the facilities are only getting better. It’s also in the East, which has barely registered a pulse recently, so any rebuilding project shouldn’t take too long. And you don’t have to play Alabama every year. But don’t get it twisted, LSU is a great job. Louisiana doesn’t have the talent pool that Georgia has on a continuous basis, but you can pluck plenty of elite-level prospects out of your backyard However, you have to compete in the SEC West !”
10-Win Seasons before Mark Richt – twelve (12) but those are ALL 80% win % or more.
Winning Percentage Season of 80 % or better before Mark Richt
22 Georgia Bulldogs’ Football Seasons before Mark Richt of 80 % Win Percentage or Higher
4 Mark Richt Seasons of 80 % Win Percentage or Higher
26 Seasons of 80 % Win Percentage or Higher of which Mark Richt has 4 – eleven NOT.
These then are Mark Richt’s Best 4 Seasons :
2002 when he lost to Florida unranked in the Final AP Poll Top 25 even with their win over us when he went 0-13 on 3rd Down Conversions relegating him to play 5-loss unranked Arky SEC Championship Game and 5-loss FSU # 23 in the bowl game nobody cared about and nobody watched.
2004 when he lost to a hapless Phillip Fulmer vols’ team who should have lost 4 games that 2004 season and he got blown-out by Auburn by 3 TD without extra points 6-24; therefore he did not even get to play for The SEC Championship. For this, he played in the Outback Bowl nobody watched and nobody cared about at 11 am.
2007 when he lost to 6-6 South Carolina who did not even play in a bowl game. And, he lost – blown-out by the vols 14-35 by 3 TD. The vols should’ve been a 5-loss team. For these performances, he was awarded the booby prize of beating # 19 Hawai’i in the bowl game nobody watched and nobody cared about.
2012 when he lost – blown-out by South Carolina 7-35. A 4 TD beat-down. And, then he 3 times in front of me told Aaron Murray No, No, No, do not spike it – that Mark Richt said he was certain that Nick Saban would not expect an Aaron Murray pass, which was batted down at the line of scrimmage with all receivers covered. For these performances he was awarded 4-loss Nebraska # 25 AP Poll in the CapitalOne Bowl which nobody watched and nobody cared about.
Note please, that of these 4 best Mark Richt seasons only 2012 is after 2007 and that year he had 2 really really really bad coaching decisions – not preparing the team to be ready-to-play against South Carolina beat by more than 3 TD for 7 times after 2007 and this 1 of them ! And, then his disagreement 3 times with Aaron Murray that Aaron Murray wanted to spike it and Mark Richt 3 times over-ruled Aaron Murray when Aaron Murray CLEARLY DECISIVELY was correct and Mark Richt just wrong.
These are his 4 “best” seasons and the bowl games he earned for us compared to the 15 Bowl Games on the National Stage by The Georgia Bulldogs’ Football Program, many of which we Won and 6 of those named # 1 by this poll or that poll.
“Athens is an all time great college town, and its women can be put up against anyone’s and come out looking good. People who go to college in the northeast really have no idea what they are missing when it comes to the ladies.”

“The scene here in Athens is something that has to be experienced to be believed. If you’re over on Milledge Ave (Frat Row) on any given weekend night, you’ll hear bands and big time rap names blasting over the screams of some of the finest Southern Belles. But the main attraction to UGA is the downtown scene; it is absolutely unreal. Thursdays find wild outfits from socials running around, and every other night it seems like the entire student body is out raging in their Sunday best. Athens is where The South’s finest go to raise a little hell.”
“To put it simply, Athens is insane. Every single night of the week, you can go downtown and find people drinking and partying. Whether it be Sunday nights at Pauley’s or Thursdays at Whiskey Bent, there will never be a shortage of attractive Southern men and women downtown to meet. The Greek scene tends to dominate the party scene, with socials every Thursday and band parties nearly every weekend. However, one does not have to be Greek to go downtown and have a great time. Getting into bars downtown is a joke as well, so being a freshman does not mean you can’t join in the fun. Downtown Athens has 20+ bars where you can drink as much as you want. This is also a great school for guys, where the student body is comprised of nearly 60% women in a school of 32,000+. Saturdays in Athens on Gameday are also one of the big parts of the insanity. Typically, people wake up and start drinking and tailgating all day until the game starts. Athens is literally shut down so everyone can party and watch the game.”
“The music scene in Athens is also a big part of what makes UGA a great party school. With the Georgia Theater attracting big names on a weekly basis to huge country concerts in Sanford and out in the field, there will always be somewhere to listen to music and drink. Athens, GA is the best college town in the United States.”
We raise a little Cain, now and again.

I am sorry; we are characters ! And, we don’t like what’s been going-on over the last 8 years here.

Look up please here at this URL Link the OTHER FOOTBALL PROGRAMS who are considered the Top Football Programs and see how far down they are as a University ! These other top football programs really almost all of them are way worse as a school. We are going to recruit more of the Elite Talent here at Georgia after Mark Richt leaves. And, why is that ? Because one, we are a great University AND we have a great Football Program ! And, because two, the top players do NOT want to play for a Charlie Brown who really only beats the cupcakes and who struggles against EVERYONE else. This is the Major Point of this blog, whatever part of it you read.
Now that we’ve established who we are at Georgia, let’s study exactly coldly precisely whom it is Mark Richt has run his record up on, and why he has been considered by everyone as a coach who – just has lost it after 2007. Is it ok if we do this please ? This blog here does not have the 250 top analysts in college football today who have TOLD YOU he has to go for those would make this blog post too long. They are found on the right side of this blog as you read it in the 250 CATEGORIES where you can see in the 250 CATEGORIES on the right just who said what in their own words with the URL Link in each CATEGORY so you can just click it and see exactly that they ALL think he just has to go. Or, shall we just simply say he is a nice guy and leave it at that ?
72-32 beats powder-puff teams, averaging 4-loss season after 2007.
His religion has given him different goals from our own.
His roster mismanagement after 2007 has clearly been because of a goal other than winning, and his failures at his main position of QB are that he came here as a QB coach yet has failed to develop them. I think he spends too much time not directly doing his job. In fact, I know that has to be the issue because he tells us winning is not important to him and he’d be SATISFIED with whatever happens here in winning at Georgia. It’s not how he’s JUDGED he says !
# 88 Passing Offense 2014 with Mike Bobo
# 104 Passing Offense 2015 with Brian Schottenheimer
You saw something different against # 64 Georgia Southern in the last game than I ?
“We knew. I’m telling you,” Mark Richt said of Georgia Southern. “Everybody was like, ‘well coach is just saying this and that to try and get his boys ready to play,’ but we, especially our defensive staff, could see how well this offense executed. Just knowing what it takes to prepare for an offense like that. It keeps you up at night. Well-coached team. A team that knows how to win. They played their tails off.”
‘ I don’t think we’ve gotta create motivation. I think we’ve gotta temper it’ “head coach Mark Richt said on his radio show Monday night ” before Alabama kick-off this season – blown-out 10-38 more than 3 TD as he’s done 7 times after 2007 and did not once prior, because the team showed-up again not-ready-play ! Told players all week prior to Alabama THIS – that it’s HIS JOB to DE-MOTIVATE them, then they showed-up not-ready-play which the # 1 Athlete in the nation he invited to the game as Our Recruiting Guest told you after the game that his impressions were that Mark Richt did NOT bring his players to the game ready-to-play. It’s written between the lines in this blog post that these items herein listed make it patently clear that Mark Richt does NOT know how to coach a football team, or that if he does, he has FAILED to do so – often because he has a completely different set of goals from our own for our Proud UGA Football Program ! Did you get that please ?
Mark Richt says : “You can’t become what you do. What I do is not who I am. If I become what I do and I become just a football coach, then you’re asking for disaster. My identity is in Christ. I am a born-again believer in Jesus Christ. I know that he died for my sin and I am going to heaven when this is all said and done, forever. That gives me peace, no matter what happens here.”
“All the time y’all probably thought I was being coy but I really really didn’t know. Even on this decision – very very close decision to name the Starter. I think they all can get us in the right plays; all can get us in the right protections; I think they all can function extremely well and help us win. That is what made it tough. I can not tell you how many times it went back-and-forth quite frankly. It was very close. It really has been a tough decision because they all are extremely hard workers; all smart; all capable; all talented. It was a battle that didn’t define itself; no one really pulled away.”
5-2 before the game 8 with Faton Bauta -0- snaps at QB. None all season ! Then, left him in every snap not 1 running play for him – running QB – 4 interceptions. DESPERATE !
“Teams are trying to stack the box against us Malcolm Mitchell said. Vanderbilt stacked the box and we didn’t pass the ball and you saw what happened. Until we get comfortable throwing the ball I hope our defense shows up.”
“I think Coach Brian Schottenheimer is a great coach. I think he knows what he’s doing. I think he knows how to coach QBs extremely well. I’ve got a lot of faith in that.” Mark Richt head coach who calls ALL the shots on Offense and always has – and none on Defense and never has.
David Greene says : “Here we are in November and we still don’t know which direction they’re going in. It’s tough to be this deep in the season really without any identity offensively. Unfortunately it’s not just one thing. Offensively right now it’s very stale. Special teams has really struggled. There’s a lot of talent on the team but sometimes the players just aren’t making plays. As an entire team they just kind of seem lost…like they just don’t know what they want to do and how they want to do it. A good example of that is starting FatonBauta when he has zero starting experience. It just goes to show that what they’ve been trying to do just isn’t working.”
He was BLOWN-OUT embarrassed in 2 of those losses and the 3rd loss was to the yellowjackets averaging the # 52 Scout.com recruiting ranking !
“I don’t think much about it. I think the Lord is in charge of everything. So, I don’t think much about it.” Mark Richt
This is NOT your Calling Mark Richt. The SEC is NOT a Church League son.
We have 26 seasons of 80 % win percentage or higher – THAT is what the OLD 10-Win discussion was about !
Only 1 after 2007 of 80 % for Mark Richt ! One of 8 and it marred by blow-out Biblical Proportions by Spurrier 7-35 and then in front of me Mark Richt over-ruling Aaron Murray 3 times no don’t spike it !
You have told us since Mark Richt, that Nick Saban will never figure it out and expect an Aaron Murray pass with no time on clock, won’t rush him and deflect the pass and will not cover my receivers !
No one hates Mark Richt either.
I would rather have Mark Richt quit, which is that which I have said all season he will do and why he did not sign the extension – giving up half a million a year.
And, then tell us all that it was the Lord’s Will that we win this morning. Why show up then ? I guess that obviously explains the way you play against ranked teams sir ! We are to forget about the 5, 4 and 4 unanswered touchdowns by the vols, Alabama and Florida against you Mark Richt this season because it was the Lord’s Will ANYWAY so why bother to try ? It’s all preordained ? Where do you dream-up this crap Mark Richt ?
“EVERTHING IS PREORDAINED.”
You have free choice to work diligently at this your job sir – that which we offer-up $ 50 millions of dollars sir to you for coaching our team and being successful at it sir. It’s NOT God’s Will that EVERYTHING is preordained ! Not close ! Not true. Lie. You speaking of that which you have NO KNOWLEDGE ! A neophyte.
You sire are being held accountable by God for not performing your lifework up to the greatest of your ability, and wrongly putting it off on God that which was your own free choice sir. Your own free will sir ! Your goals are not our goals. Our goal is not to be SEC Champion or National Champion but to be in the game. 15 times in 15 previous Big Bowl Games Georgia has been in the game, winning most of these Big Bowl Games at the end of the season, the Nation Watching, all eyes on us, between 2 teams ranked at the very top of the Final Poll.
You never got that Mark Richt.
You still do not.
Rewriting history after all you can accomplish is a SEC East title in 8 years sir as that is our goal is just dumb.
Only your supporters who are ALL WRONG and owe me an apology would believe the lies out of your mouth that our goal was to win The SEC East.
The AJ-C has kowtowed to Mark Richt and lied about letters sent to them about our unhappiness with the direction this religious guy has taken our football program.
Bluto said that Mark Richt would be back.
Barrett Sallee Bleacher Report said to another Bleacher Reporter who bragged yesterday how great Mark Richt is and would be back, as well owe me an apology.
The Dawgbone owes me an apology insisting that anyone who dared speak up that Mark Richt is not beating the top teams and not getting us to our goals can not be linked to their WebPages.
Many DISNEYdawgs.com posters who supported the mediocrity of Mark Richt owe me an apology.
What he cares about is religion.
Not our football program.
God does not sit there and be in charge of everything at all.
God gives us Free Choice.
Lesson # 1 in my Discipleship.
According to you, then, God set Adam and Eve up for failure ! He did not. He told you He did not ! It was their will, not His. He gave them and you Free Will.
You just have chosen to NOT do your duties which could have brought great Glory on God, and have FAILED at YOUR HANDS sir ! NOT His.
Genesis 3 God tells us that He became saddened surprised and disappointed in Adam and Eve, sir ! He did NOT preordain it AT ALL ! He then tells us that Adam and Eve and all mankind would suffer for the consequences of our Own Free Will.
That is what God preordained, son. That you have Your Own Free Will, Mark Richt ! As we do to fire you. And, as you do to just step down, which is what I have called for for 8 long years now.
You have chosen to BLAME IT ALL ON HIM.
To resign yourself to Him preordaining EVERYTHING !
That is a purposeful lie on your part as you so often have done here for 15 entire years since you finally showed-up here Mark Richt.
You do not know what you’re talking about. You only recently even began studying the Bible. And, NOT very well. This is the major problem I have with you that you do NOT understand much around you – nor accept the responsibility of being our coach of our football team.
You do not think about it, because well it’s God’s Will ? Well excuse me Mark Richt, but EVERYONE else thinks about it a lot, sir ! Especially all of us who pay your salary sir. For all your obvious talent from this last of your Dream Team, 20 seniors gone, with # 8 Scout.com Average Recruiting Ranking and # 5 Most NFL Draft Picks, you surely are not Top 25 after 2007 at ANYTHING – any way you slice it – Mark Richt over this most recent most current 8-year period.
And, your blaming or resigning yourself to YOUR FACT ONLY that the Lord is in charge of EVERYTHING is another LIE from you sir to obfuscate your lousy records against the top teams after 2007. You are simply trying to turn our attention from your 2 tales of Mark Richt : (1) When you did do well oh so long ago now against the top teams 2001-2007. And, (2) when you GAVE UP, quit trying, made no effort at all, said you would become instead the CEO of this football program – promoted yourself in Peter Principle – to that which you finally then reached your own personal level of your own personal incompetence.
But, say oh well the Lord is in charge of everything.
I am satisfied.
I am over it.
I do not care.
I have no input on it anyway.
It’s all the Lord’s Will.
I do not think about it !
Why should I ?
The Lord is in charge of EVERYTHING.
I think ?
Nah; not me !
Don’t you KNOW that the Lord is in charge of EVERTHING ?
“YOU cannot blame me !”
That’s exactly what that means !
NOTHING else !
God was in charge of 2001-2007 ? God is in charge after 2007 ? Just what is that you SAY God is responsible for and not you Mark Richt – that you say is EVERYTHING ?
You are especially inept, sir, at beating Top 5, Top 10, Top 15, Top 25, and teams who go on to a bowl game that season sir. And, as bad as your records are against ALL of these – none in the Top 25 – with your # 8 talent sir, your record against them not at Home for us, is EVEN WORSE sir.
You tolerate our criticism because to be a coach is to know that, you said after the game this morning Mark Richt ?
You do NOT !
You THINK you are BETTER than us.
So, what you are left with sir is your 37-1 vs non-bowl teams after 2007, eight years of meaningless seasons with 33 teams now looking at 10-win season 2015 sir.
The Lord is NOT in charge of everything. We wanted to pay you over $ 4 million dollars a year until 2019 to have you be in charge of our Football Program. To beat ranked teams as the # 11 All-Time Win program with the # 3 best recruits available in this state which has no competition for them in-state from yellowjackets or Georgia Southern. You have FAILED to do so sir after 2007. No, sir, the Lord is NOT in charge sir – not of our football team, and NEITHER are you obviously.
The Lord is NOT responsible for all this after 2007 Mark Richt, you are !
Mark Richt averages the # 8 Scout.com Recruiting Ranking and has the # 5 Most NFL Draft Picks with 86, but after 2007 he is not in the Top 25 at really anything !
Talk about underachievement ! This blog post details the epitome of underachievement with all his talent after 2007 and details the vast resources at hand for Mark Richt to have accomplished after 2007 diddle-e-squat.
AFTER 2007 by Mark Richt and for which he is judged :
Man and God judge Mark Richt for all this after 2007 in his Calling which the Lord Called Mark Richt to, but which he DENIED and said unto the Lord, I am NOT accepting this Calling Lord. I want to be a preacher man. And, teach people in religion that which I know not either.
Mark Richt, sir, God expects us to take an active part.
This is why we find so many vigorous words and phrases in Scripture, such as “make every effort”, “strain”, “struggle”, “pursue”, “run with diligence the race set before you”, “fight the good fight”, “persist”, “resist”, “stand”, “take hold”, “guard”, “endure to the end”, etc. If everything is preordained, what would be the use of all this strenuous effort?
His plans for all of us – His plans for each of us will not be fulfilled unless we cooperate with Him in their fulfillment.
No sir. Everything is NOT preordained. You should KNOW that ! Your Calling in fact could have brought Great Glory to God, but you choose instead to say God Preordained EVERYTHING !
So, you did not try. Why indeed try Mark Richt – after all – the Lord is in charge of EVERTHING ! So, why think about anything related to anything as mundane as doing your Calling to Glorify Him. To Witness to others by doing what He asks to the best of our ability. As in every word out of your mouth : You just do not get it.
“I don’t think much about it. I think the Lord is in charge of everything. So, I don’t think much about it.” Mark Richt
God is not imposing Himself on everything Mark Richt. Good Lord, son.
This utter nonsense that Religion, Mark Richt and The Georgia Bulldogs’ Football Program may not be discussed, is over here on my blog.
Everything is NOT preordained. God is NOT in charge of everything.
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
God does not tell ME that He is in charge of everything, but that it is MY choice, as yours – only you do not see it and prefer to hide behind that which you know not, and tell us all purposely that He indeed Is In Charge and not you therefore – not your fault : You say as your parting shot :
“YOU cannot blame me !”
# 41 at 18 losses of 24 games vs Top 15 after 2007 for # 11 All-Time UGA
Jere Morehead e-mail address (since I firmly am convinced the problem is Greg McGarity no good at his job since he got here) firstname.lastname@example.org
How can the # 11 team All-Time in Wins, with our Average # 8 Scout.com Recruiting Ranking, with 86 NFL Draft Picks # 5 best nationally, us with 17 seasons of 0 or 1 loss, us with 15 Bowl Games on the National Stage both teams ranked at the top of the Final AP Poll most of which we Won, us with 26 seasons of 80% win percentage or higher have only 1 season after 2007 over 80 % win percentage and it marred by 2 devastatingly horrible coaching decisions to be # 41 in Won/Lost Record after 2007 vs the Top 15 Ranked teams, be 36-1 vs non-bowl teams and only 36-31 for our 72-32 over the most-current 8 years averaging 4 losses per season and therefore have only played in meaningless bowl games by stark contrast with 12-1 record not at Sanford vs non-bowl teams and only 18-22 vs bowl teams # 26 nationally ? How is this possible ? How could this possibly be considered remotely acceptable ? Mark Richt can not win the big game.
He’s gone and I accomplished what I wanted to accomplish with the FIRED guy you kept bragging on. I won ! You LOST.
” We (mostly) agree that we need to win more games, not lose to lesser teams, and have better winning % especially in the years since 2007. ”
We do ?
Or, we feel that there is nothing wrong under the sun with our program right now ? That we are doing great ?
Which is it ?
Censoring opinions of fact because you do not like the facts is certainly not going to fix the issues.
The issues are plain. They are clear. We, as fans, send the message to the coaches and players that they are great.
Then, after 2007 these are not on Mark Richt’s To-Do List ? Seriously ?
(1) not have only 72 remaining of 118 signed who with redshirt would’ve played last game. How do you fix that ? Well, you fix that by teaching the players to obey the rules. Conflicting messages that we love them, when we kick them off the team, is not teaching them to obey the rules. The head coach is sending mixed messages to the players. There is no excuse for giving Mark Richt all the credit for signing these 118 recruits who with redshirt play in the last game, to have only 72.
You get that, or you got something else to say about my mama ?
It has nothing to do with my mama and every thing to do with the lax discipline (teaching to obey the rules) followed by harsh punishment (which is not discipline.)
(2) not lose so many games against bowl teams after 2007 that our win % against them is only 54 %
We are unprepared for many games after 2007. We have the superior talent and are lax about our preparation. We take opponents lightly – teams we should be beating. We make bullshit in-game decisions such as wasted time-outs, not calling time-outs, not trying to use all the clock we can use to score against teams who consider us their # 1 Rival. We do this all the time. No one discusses it. No one suggests it’s an issue that we have poor clock management all the time. No one wants to discuss it. Just tell everyone we’re # 11 all-time in 1-A wins; and, that we recruit 2nd best nationally; and brag about what Mark Richt did 8 to 14 seasons’ ago, instead of saying what it is we’re in fact doing after 2007. We lost to 3 teams this last season who we should never have lost to. Shall we discuss the in game decisions by a coach 14 seasons now our head coach ? 1st goal 4-yard line and Hutson Mason who should never have been our Starting QB 2014 tries to throw a pass, when he is incapable of throwing the ball 14-yards down field out of the end zone. Mark Richt said he was wrong. Yes, he was. All our players told the press we took a team who considers us their # 1 Rival and whom Mark Richt is 5-9 against, lightly. Mark Richt told the press to tell his players to shut-up. You are ahead against another team who considers us their # 1 Rival by 3 points with 13 ticks remaining. What do you do, squib kick ? Mark Richt said he was wrong. Yes, he was. We cannot beat our way out of a wet paper bag, and it’s damn frustrating reading blogs tell us how freaking great we are. We’re anything but. We’ve been anything but after 2007 with a 54 % win percentage over bowl teams after 2007.
Did you get that damn it ?
You knew we’re 54 % win percentage against bowl teams after 2007 ?
You got some bullshit you want to put on ME for saying it out loud ?
I am freaking tired of it.
You seem totally satisfied with it.
(3) not have 29 losses the latest 7-year period, an average of more than 4 losses a season. You want a way where we can stop losing more than 4 games a season on the average after 2007 ? Hire a damn football coach who gives a shit.
And, quit telling him he’s friqin’ great.
He was when he 1st got here. He hasn’t been after 2007.
(4) not have so many games lost against less-talented teams who even with their win are unranked teams, 10 such after 2007 and 2 of those again in 2014. You want a solution to that from me ? This is my problem that I point it out to everyone ? Or, this is Mark Richt’s problem on his To-Do List ?
Which is it ?
You tell me ?
We’re not ready to play. We have 72 remaining to even suit-up of 118 signed to suit-up the latest game. This is a serious grievous issue that is pervasive across Mark Richt’s program after 2007. You cannot play winning football when you are not on the field. Credit is given to Mark Richt every February for signing all these guys. He’s had 82 NFL draft picks, and more 2015. Only Southern California has more. He’s had the average # 9 Scout.com recruiting ranking. Again, only Southern California has done better. We have plenty of talent and give Mark Richt the credit for signing them here. That is only half the battle. Once here, he has to coach them. Coaching is defined as getting more with less : Here, we get less with more. Georgie tek averages # 52 recruiting ranking and they beat the average # 9 recruits. Now, their coach does not have a losing record against us at Sanford. Mark Richt’s roster management is the worst in the nation. He has the 2nd best talent and # 21 in won/lost record after 2007. That’s not my issue. That’s not my problem. That is Mark Richt’s won/lost record which is not some damn stat but his won/lost record. Get off my back, and put the pressure where you say the pressure belongs. Not on me, but on Mark Richt.
Get with the program.
(5) not be 2-13 vs teams ranked AP Poll Top 10 for the seasons after 2007. We not only lose to lousy unranked under talented teams but we cannot compete with the top teams, either.
Get over yourself that you have made some freaking point to me about this, when this should be discussed openly by us, as it is by our opponents. If we’re unprepared for a team who lost 11 of their most recent 13 games who calls us their # 1 Rival and who Mark Richt is 5-9 against, then what the friq do you expect of the same coach against the top teams ?
His record after 2007 speaks for itself.
(6) not be 11-23 vs teams ranked for the seasons after 2007. This is a deceiving record as it is because if you play a 1-AA FCS team, that game does not count. Unless you lose. So all these games we lose to unranked teams has to be ADDED to this record of 34 teams, 23 of whom we’ve lost to who are simply ranked in either the AP or Coaches’ Polls for the seasons after 2007. He really therefore has played 44 games after 2007 leaving his wins in only 11 of the 44 games against ranked teams in either the AP or Coaches’ Polls for these latest 7 seasons after 2007 because he’s lost to 10 unranked teams after 2007.
Do not be sitting there asking me what to do to fix all this.
That is not my job.
It’s also not my job to be winning all these games you say SCDawg Mark Richt should be winning and isn’t at the rate you say he should be winning.
I am not paid $ 4 million dollars a season to be our head coach. He’s not supposed to be losing all these games, and you damn well know it.
Cease with your bullshit to me about his friqin’ losses.
I call it like it is.
I get it out in the open.
I know the recruits know it. I read Todd Gurley II say that he is sick and tired of losing and being mediocre. I read Chris Conley say the same. I read our players say this all the time. The recruits know it. I am not hurting recruiting by bringing it out in the open. We do not beat the teams we are supposed to beat, do not compete with the top teams, and overall lose over 4 games a season after 2007.
If this is acceptable to you, then, kiss my ass – that is not what you said. Instead, you’ve put the onus on me to explain to you what you say is unacceptable. I do not believe you believe it’s unacceptable. Otherwise, you would say : Yes, sir – Mark Richt has done a poor job of it after 2007 and I agree with you Thomas Brown, sir ! He needs to step up his game getting more with less, instead of less with more. And, honestly, I did not know that Mark Richt has been this anemic against bowl teams after 2007 that his win percentage is only 54 %. If it’s not acceptable that our win percentage after 2007 against bowl teams is only 54 % then stand-up and say it. And, do not blame me for his failures on and off the field to have his team prepared, to have his players he should be having play, in fact play. And do not blame me for his head coaching decisions. During these 14 seasons before this one, he has lost every year to teams he should have never lost to. It costs us dearly every year. He does a poor job, as you say, especially after 2007, SCDawg, sir.
(7) not be 57 % win percentage in bowl games after 2007. Mark Richt’s record away from Sanford after 2007 sucks. Overall, away and at home he once, had a 81 % win percentage. Now, after 2007, he’s 68 % win percentage, overall. He once was great against teams who that season made the AP Poll or Coaches’ Poll Top 25. Now, after 2007, he won twice only. We have had 49 games not at Sanford and lost 21. The games we’ve won, have been against cupcakes – except for 2 wins out of 49 games not at Sanford after 2007 ! It’s unacceptable and damn embarrassing to read hogwash excuses for it every year by the DISNEYdawgs.com fans of our program who actually truthfully believe he is doing well. No. No, he’s not. We do not beat the top teams away from Sanford, and only because he was extremely frustrated as all of us were with 2014, did he even try to win this bowl game. A trophy for everyone has been his mantra. Mark Richt does not give a shit about winning. He actually believes his calling is to be preacher man. He actually has conflicting mixed messages about players who brought us so much bad press all 2014 that he told them each he loved them. What the F is that ? His calling is to be our head football coach at the rate of $ 4 million a year.
We do NOT have something more important that we adhere to here at Georgia than winning, as Mark Richt told us 2014.
And, you know what I love more than that ? Reading DISNEYdawgs.com tell me about my mama when my post is quite plain exactly in fact what we are doing nowadays after 2007.
Can you imagine what this off-season would be like right now had he lost this last bowl game, as he did 3 of the previous 4 bowl games ? I wrote on my blog where I get to have my damn say unabated, just as I give you here, the Absolute Right to have your say sir, that he took the sour taste out of our mouth for 2014. A season of what could’ve been. But, wasn’t because once again he lost to 3 teams who were far less-talented but better coached against us than we offered-up against them. In each case, Mark Richt discussed the single issue in each game that cost us the game. In 2 of the 3, he admitted he was wrong. In the 3rd loss to Florida who beat the shit out of us, he told the players who ran to the press telling everyone we took them lightly to shut the hell up.
That’s what you really want from me.
To shut the hell up.
Bury our heads in the damn sand.
Good Luck with that !
(8) not be 4-21 against teams higher ranked than us in the AP or Coaches’ Polls for the years after 2007.
” We (mostly) agree that we need to win more games, not lose to lesser teams, and have better winning % especially in the years since 2007. ” SCDawg
There is something here besides winning that’s important ? Or we need more clear precise goals as our To-Do List – not bullshit ? Which is it ? Our goal is to quit losing for 7 years now more than 4 losses a season average ? How do we teach them to obey the rules not punish them harshly as if that is teaching them to obey the rules ? You’re clueless and more to the point purposely painting Mark Richt as not responsible for that which only he is responsible. He runs a lax ship and only punishes harshly. He doesn’t know how to tell them to obey the rules.
Get the Picture says Mark Richt’s To Do List is to score more touchdowns in the red zone when Bluto says that surprises him ! And, not do anything about all the arrests/suspensions/kicked-off that led to having only 72 suit up for the latest game of the 118 he signed who with redshirt would’ve been playing instead. And nothing to do with our abysmal 54 % win percentage against bowl teams the entire 2nd Half of the Mark Richt era – after 2007.
Nothing on Bluto’s Mark Richt To-Do List for 2015 about not losing to unranked teams as he’s done 10 times after 2007. Nothing on Bluto’s Mark Richt To-Do List for 2015 about him being # 50 in the nation at beating top 15 teams time of game after 2007 when we are all-time the # 11 program in wins. How can this be that THESE are NOT on Mark Richt’s To-Do List pray tell ?
Well punks how ?
Mark Richt needs to fix this shit. What is the fix for this shit ? Obviously I am saying it is Mark Richt. Aren’t I ? Are you that God Damn Stupid that you can’t see I am saying that the fix to this crap is that Mark Richt just has to go – this God Damn Friqin’ Hero of yours- not mine ?
You do not fool me that you do not see this is what I am saying.
You are just acting stupid.
And, because you DO NOT WANT TO DISCUSS THE ISSUES I am bringing up about your freaking hero and not mine. Why ? Because you know I am right if you did discuss any 1 of these individual points I make that you would agree with me. You do not know these points. If you did you would TALK ABOUT THEM as items Mark Richt needs to fix.
You do NOT know them.
They are NOT insignificant or meaningless.
They are ALL instead his win/loss record after 2007.
You know ?
Against top 15 teams after 2007 us # 11 all-time in wins.
Against unranked teams after 2007.
You know ?
With his average # 8 recruiting rankings.
Against teams who even go to a bowl game the season he plays them after 2007.
You know ?
The ones he likely as not loses to when they are bowl teams after 2007.
Quit telling me how great he was 2001-2007. We all rooted for him then me included no matter how you try to paint me TODAY on that way back then 8 to 14 years’ ago.
He has LOST IT.
Against ALL these groups.
It’s not a mini-record.
It’s what he’s doing NOW – these latest 7 years making up the entire 2nd half his career here.
Quit ignoring the point.
The more you do, the more you cement MY POINTS in everyone’s mind.
Surely by now you know you are LOSING this argument and me winning it, don’t you ?
Sure you do.
These are his real To-Do List items not that he needs to JUST ONLY score more TD in the red zone.
So why is it then that NONE of you can discuss what the issues are ?
Because I do not say it in a fashion in which you can look at a sentence and say you could re-word it better ? So could I. So what ? That is not what this is about and your stupid attempts to IGNORE all the facts or act like you knew them all anyway when you did not, just leaves me making my point and leaves me making my point which you make yourself out the village idiot for not addressing.
My points are here.
You attempting to avoid my points leaves ONLY ME MAKING MY POINTS of what should have been on Bluto’s To-Do List for Mark Richt for 2015 and did not.
Doesn’t it ?
Well punks ?
You’re just all a God Damn Bunch of NOTHING BUT INTERNET BULLIES the freaking lot of you.
These pervasive issues about Mark Richt are going to cost him his job.
I will see to it.
You want to stop me seeing to it.
This is where we are.
You are going to lose.
You IGNORE me at your own risk because I am making these points about him as coach and don’t give a shit if he is a fine man. Nothing on Bluto’s Mark Richt To-Do List for 2015 about teams who play in a bowl game the season he plays them which he is after 2007 likely as not to lose by the way. Nothing about getting the ever-living shit kicked out of him after 2007 every year by more than 3 TD when he never did that 2001-2007 either. Just that I can NOT say this on his blog, you can say the problem is my English or my mother and TRY TO IGNORE these points I DO BY GOD MAKE, and that he ONLY THINKS THE ONLY ISSUE is instead his bullshit Mark Richt To-Do List for 2015 that we have to do better in the red zone scoring TD. Yeah, that’s the point. He’s a dumbass for even attempting to say that and does not have the balls to hear me take him to task on same on his blog where I made him look like shit so he banned me at your request because YOU ALL – as a group there – think we have some other goal besides winning here. We don’t. You can’t. You’re wrong. He’s shallow and off-point and he is wrong that Mark Richt only needs to score more TD in the red zone. It is a LOT more pervasive across our football program than that shallow bullshit analysis and if Bluto and his minions don’t wake-up he will be FIRED for what I have been saying after 2007 about him. He could have looked at ANY of my posts to know what Mark Richt’s To-Do List IS for 2015. Any of them. You can read my points quite clearly. You just want to act stupid that you can’t. Sure you can. You do NOT LIKE WHAT I SAY not how I say it. You can ALL stick it up your assholes. I will make my point. I do make my point and you have NO POINT.
Whether you like it or not I am changing the court of public opinion about what a fine man Mark Richt is. He is a fine man and shitty coach after 2007. Wake-up. You have FAILED to shut me up and I am WINNING. That is what bothers you.
Bluto is the character’s name in the movie – not any damn freaking senator. He showed-up online a few years’ back now in the Online Athens’ forum crying for censorship then, too. Today, he writes a Mark Richt’s To-Do List. Ah, bullshit Bluto is all I can say to such utter nonsense, Bluto !
(1) Mark Richt is # 21 in Won/Record after 2007 – the entire 2nd Half of Mark Richt era
Teams such as Florida, Southern California and Nebraska who have been abysmal, are all better than Mark Richt these latest 7 years now to-date.
And, Bluto says that Mark Richt’s To-Do List is scoring better when we are down there ready to score and that ” given how solid Georgia’s offense was running the ball ” that surprises him. Dimwit. Dumbass.
How about beating teams we should not be losing to, you freaking dumbass Bluto ?
Wouldn’t that be up there on the Mark Richt To-Do List ?
He’s 5-9 vs Florida, and let yet another underwhelming Florida team beat him.
He lost to Georgie tek to give their coach now not even a losing record against us at our house.
(2) He made a quarterback our Starting Quarterback who lost to 3 unranked teams and to lowlife # 52 average recruiting ranking Georgie tek – 4 inexplicable losses.
But, when we get down there ready to score, we should do better Bluto surmises – bless his heart – despite our awesome OL and running game.
How about our damned Quarterback # 88 in Passing Offense Bluto dumbshit ? Nothing about that, either ? If we had a passing game, we would have really racked-up down there in the red zone scoring touchdowns.
(3) Instead, we’re # 88 in Passing Offense nationally.
And, # 67 in Passing Yards per completion. If Mike Bobo had not taken that demotion to way out there in the snow with a program who has a losing record all-time, Mark Richt would have never done anything about his offense which Bluto says is anemic inside the red zone actually scoring as Mark Richt’s To-Do List.
(4) Now that Penn State has been restored to its previous win total which the NCAA took away from them in 2012 and added back last week, UGA is now outside the Top 10 All-Time in Wins again back to # 11 All-Time.
Instead, Mark Richt has 29 Losses after 2007, an average of MORE than 4 losses per season for these 7 latest current seasons.
But, Bluto says that in the red zone, Mark Richt should score touchdowns more frequently.
God Almighty Bluto ! What a dumbass liar you are to not discuss what we’ve been doing these latest 7 years and the reasons for it, which are by the way the attrition on our roster.
In the latest football game, we had only 72 of the 118 signed scholarship recruits who with a redshirt season would’ve been playing this game. None were drafted early by the NFL in the 2014 NFL Draft.
The attrition has been so damn devastating that teams who recruited nowhere near us have dominated us. How do you explain away Florida’s win over us this season or South Carolina either for that matter ? Georgie tek was supposed to beat us with their recruiting so sorry compared to our talent ? No !
But, Bluto says nothing about this either, just that when we’re down there we need to score more touchdowns.
(5) Mark Richt’s To-Do List is quite a bit different from the bullshit presented by Bluto this day, I can assure the dumbass.
He has not won a national championship yet the coaches who have won these 15 years now average only 3 and a half years at the school before they won one.
Mark Richt has 2002 when unranked Florida of Ron Zook mind you held him to -0- of 13 on 3rd Down Conversions, a hapless Florida team. And, Mark Richt has 2007 when not only did the vols blow us out but that we also lost 2007 to 6-6 South Carolina who did not even go to a damned bowl game. Of course, there is 2012 when South Carolina beat us like a drum 35 to 7. And, 2012 we have that wondrous do not spike the ball by Mark Richt as well ! These are the high water marks for Mark Richt. The best of the best. Mark Richt just has bad luck ? Bullshit, he sucks and you know it.
Bad Luck, my Ass !
And, so he censors posts to “his blog” and calls me out saying I am not a fan of The Georgia Bulldogs.
Hogwash, he isn’t and never has been.
I’ve known this twit Bluto for 15 years now online. He does not want the countering viewpoint and for smoke and mirrors, he shall reply to this reply to his bullshit post of Mark Richt’s To-Do List with there is something wrong with me ! No, his post sucks and even he Bluto senator of nothing, would readily admit that my discussion here is far more hitting the nail on the head for Mark Richt’s To-Do List ! Don’t you Bluto ? Facebook says you have to know the person face-to-face. I think not. We all have many dealings with folks whom we speak with every day, and whom we send back and forth e-mails all the time to transact our business, and none of these are our friends ? Bullshit Facebook. Bullshit. We do not “KNOW” these people ? Ridiculous proposition. Bluto is a guy who is into censorship and into power and authority – wanting to tell everyone else how to live their lives – he having so screwed-up his own. Daily in every blog post, Bluto, has come-on titles designed to get you to click the URL Link to see just what the hell it is his blog is about that day.
What is Bluto’s blog about ?
Well, # 1 it is a Mark Richt Apologist blog. If that is not obvious.
And, # 2 it is a blog about anything but that which are our woes, anything but that which are our bucket list. Afraid to bring it out in the open, and unwilling to discuss the real issues you get red herrings instead.
Bluto spends his days reading a blog such as this one here with meat in it, and then he “WRITES” a blog about it, putting it down and saying how worthless the blog’s point is. He oozes censorship and unfair play, that he can say whatever the Hell he wants to say but Heavens Above, do not allow the altering viewpoint.
That is Bluto – the one you call senator when the character was called Bluto the entire movie.
(6) NEVER does Bluto have a point of his own. Never ! Always just steal someone else’s idea and present it as his own blog post of the day with inane discussion of the point of the actual point-making blog post.
# 63 in Sacks by our Defense and Bluto tells you to your glee drink the damn Kool-Aid that we have all these mighty pass rushers returning to our team 2015. We do not sack opposing quarterbacks, now do we Bluto ? Why say that bullshit either then bubba Bluto ?
Come-on titles to stolen point-making blog posts where you throw your 2 cents worth in, all how great Mark Richt.
No, he isn’t.
Is he ?
He was when he 1st got here, but what he did 8 to 14 seasons’ ago has little resemblance to what he’s been doing since, now does it ?
Add in to that that he has also lost to 10 unranked teams in this timeframe and you have a horrid situation requiring it to be up there at the top of Mark Richt’s To-Do List, you dumbass !
Think just maybe you failed to hit the nail on the head ?
As always ?
Only 2012 blown out by South Carolina and then the don’t spike it in front of me, and this past season when we lost to 3 far less talented teams has Mark Richt made the AP Poll Top 10 after 2007, clearly our goal as a program # 11 All-Time in Wins. But, no that’s not listed – or, even hinted as a To-Do List action item for Mark Richt !
Mark Richt is 65 % win percentage away from Sanford after 2007 to-date and no To-Do List discussion by you sir ? Seriously ?
54 % win percentage vs Bowl Teams after 2007 to-date and not worthy on your To-Do List ? Come on you bullshit artist of no substance and just censorship how great you are and your friqin’ To-Do List for Mark Richt !
57 % win percentage bowl game after 2007 and again no mention. Why is that Bluto ? You that stupid ?
Vs Higher YrRnk Tms: 25-(26.9%)-(4-21-0)–0.160 after 2007 to-date
4 wins 21 losses to teams after 2007 to-date who are higher ranked in either the AP or Coaches’ Polls for these latest 7 seasons making up the entire 2nd Half of the Mark Richt era, and Bluto says this is not worthy of discussion on his blog post of that which is in his humble opinion the Mark Richt To-Do List.
They are the same posters who say our 29 losses the most recent 7 years is not all that bad, too.
They are the 1st posters who call for censorship.
They say that other teams tell our recruits about all this.
Do you really think the recruits do not know all this ?
That it was a long long long long long long long time ago that we were considered elite.
They say we were great 2012, 2007 and 2002.
2002 we lost for God’s sake to a team not ranked who held us to zero for 13 on 3rd Down Conversions. Mark Richt was not jobbed 2002. He wasn’t ready to play a team who calls us their # 1 Rival. He is 5-9 against them. That was Ron Zook for crying out loud.
2007, we lost to 2 more such teams. One South Carolina for example was 6-6 and not even in a damn bowl game, but we lost to them. The vols blew us out of the water – destroyed us.
2012 we lost to South Carolina 7 to 35. Convenient how you forget all this, isn’t it ? I am sure you even have an excuse for Aaron Murray asking Mark Richt 3 times should he spike it ? Oh, yeah, I just love me 2012. Such bullshit.
Hear a lot about our overzealous drug policy, how bad our admin is, how indoor practice facility only 1 other SEC does not have, and the great recruits coming-in next, new coaches – hear a lot about all of these.
Know what you do not hear a lot about ?
That we’re # 21 in won/lost record the most current latest most-recent 7-year period.
They also do not talk about all the arrests/suspensions/kicked-off – except to whine about our written drug policy which is only different in 1st offenses from everyone else’s.
Our drug issues have been repeated violators who would have met the same fate at every other school by their policies.
They act like the police cover-up stuff about other teams’ issues, but we’ve covered-up as well. Haven’t we ?
Do you remember our police chief press interview about Nick Marshall et al ? He told us all that no one contacted the police. That there was over $ 500 stolen in cash from the locker room. That makes that a felony. Police never notified.
We have a ton a damn excuses for 29 losses.
It takes a lot of excuses to cover-up for 29 losses.
10 of the 29 are to teams who either were not ranked at time of the game or for the season, or both. That just the 2nd half of the Mark Richt era.
Remember when he used to win away from Sanford ?
Not so now, is it ?
We have a horrendous record away from Sanford nowadays against teams ranked for the seasons we lost to them in away.
Has talent been the issue here ?
No, it hasn’t been. We’ve had plenty of talent. Take South Carolina, Nebraska, Florida and Georgie tek – the latest 4 losses (by Hutson Mason), all 4 of those losses were to far less talented teams.
Was talent any issue in these most recent 4 losses ?
Averaging over 4 losses per season for 7 seasons now.
No. Talent was here, but the coaching was not.
Do we need to expand our stadium ? Sure we do. Been many years since we talked about making it into a bowl with a view of Baxter Street dorms over the bridge. Nothing has happened.
Whined about IPF. Nothing done there either, yet even Vandie has a 120-yard field with a 6-lane track outside that 180,000 square feet – for all sports.
Now only 1 other SEC team does not have one.
But, we still have 29 damned losses the latest 7 years.
It’s all this bad press.
No. Not me. I am not angry and upset. You are complacent while I am not satisfied in the least bit with any of this.
We’re Top 10 All-Time in 1-A wins as a Program.
We find only 3 other states produce more high school recruits who go on to the NFL than we do.
Talent, ladies and gentlemen is not going to fix any of this. Is it ?
The class coming-in will end up # 8. It’s always like that. That’s good recruiting. Coaching ? Not so good.
So wait until new OL and new OC get on same page as 2nd year DC.
Wait until we get a Special Teams’ coach.
Wait until Hell freaking freezes over.
The issues remain the same.
Yes, the AD is weak. Yes, he has a horrendous record in football on his watch.
For the talent handed this coach, he is the dead last worst coach in all of America.
He fails to teach the boys to obey the rules.
He fails to prepare for the easy opponents who are lesser than we.
He fails against the top teams.
He fails to win and loses too many.
He doesn’t care.
Do I want us to go undefeated every year ?
What kind of hogwash is that ?
More of the make excuses crowd.
More of the you settle for nothingness – mediocrity.
Do you realize we have 6 wins out of the last 22 games away from Sanford against teams ranked for that season we beat them or not ?
Then, why do you brag about his away record ?
He sucks on the road against the top teams.
He sucks at teaching them to obey the rules.
He frankly sucks at hiring a coaching staff and I told him this 10 years ago that he was costing us with his sorry staffs.
Now, he has a good staff.
Will this change anything ?
I know this that he is still the head coach and still makes these decisions such as Joe Cox Starting QB over Zach Mettenberger NFL QB, Joe Tereshinski III Starting QB over Matthew Stafford NFL QB, and Hutson Mason over Jacob Park and Brice Ramsey – both of who also are NFL QB.
He still will not teach them to obey the rules.
We will brag on the recruiting class.
They will come here and be no different because they in fact are no better and no worse than the ones already handed this coach.
We have top facilities (other than Gym and IPF.)
We have fan support unmatched in any sport anywhere.
None of the football schools up where we are in football come close to the education at my alma mater here at UGA.
We’re in the Sun Belt – the Bible Belt. Everyone wants to be here.
We have 7 million now they count here. Loads uncounted.
We buy our merchandise. Everywhere we all wear our Bulldogs’ memorabilia we all buy. We say Go Dawgs ! to each other as we pass. Our vehicles are clearly UGA vehicles.
Our homes are.
We hang on every news.
We follow year round.
Can’t even talk about the men losing in double overtime or women winning on road against really a pretty good Auburn team, despite making like 14 baskets.
All we think eat and drink is Bulldogs.
All of us.
The truth of the matter is it is all we really care about.
$ 100,000 and counting for me. That’s just to be able to spend all my monies on our team.
It’s all I talk about.
It’s all any of us talk about.
It’s almost all we think about.
Seriously now we average over 4 losses for 7 years and that’s not that bad really for us ?
Mark Richt had bad luck ?
Other coaches’ teams – 14 others – got lucky and Mark Richt did not ?
Are you a fool ?
Do you really believe when LSU won 7 games against Top 25 teams 2007 that we deserved to be in the NC game and not them with our 2 losses to 2 horrible teams one who blew us out by three (3) touchdowns and the other who was 6-6 and not even in a bowl game ? Was that bad luck or bad coaching ?
I want an answer to that ?
Do you really believe it was bad luck in 2002 either ? That a team not even in the Top 25 even with their win over us held us to zero (0) of thirteen (13) on 3rd Down and beat us while 2 teams went undefeated ? That’s bad luck or bad coaching ? Damn it answer the freaking question ?
2012 was bad luck ? Or bad coaching ? South Carolina beat the ever-living shit out of us 7-35 and then our QB is smart enough to repeat the question in front of me to Mark Richt not once or twice, but 3 times : Spike It ? Not liking the answer, he kept asking and Mark Richt kept telling him the same, no do not spike it. You even have the damn balls to still today try on some new excuse for that one.
Squib kick with 3-point miraculous lead with 13 ticks on the clock ? God Almighty.
1st and goal and Mark Richt says now he would’ve hammered it. Jesus Christ is all I can say with Todd Gurley II and the crowd all knowing it would be.
Mark Richt makes no excuses for all these myriad of bullshit seasons all because he is a dumbass.
And, you ?
Where do you stand ?
We have only 72 of the 118 signed to play this season who were left and could even play in the latest game. We have an outstanding large class coming-in ? Duh.
We over-sign because we have too much attrition.
We stay in the bad press.
Mostly because every off-season YOU brag on the staff and players and then reality hits averaging more than 4 losses per season for 7 years now.
You are proud to say that you indeed are a DisneyDawgs.com ?
Why don’t you brag some more about what he did 8 to 14 years’ ago now ? I loved it then too. That’s not what we have anymore around here nowadays, is it ?
Not all that bad losing more than 4 games a season for 7 seasons now ?
Wait until the latest coach added fixes his won/loss for him ?
Wait until the next batch of recruits fixes his won/loss for him ?
Wait until he has an IPF ?
Wait until the admin does not have HIS won/loss record as their won/loss record since he took over as his boss ?
He isn’t being paid enough ?
His prayer circle staff was not being paid enough ? The OL coach at Alabama makes more than our OC ? That’s the damned freaking problem around here ?
I am fed-up with it. And, you are not ! It’s his damned religion, if you ask me ?
Nick Chubb is All-America. The All-America teams will show him on it. He is a true freshman. He has this year, 2015, 2016 and 2017 if he wants. I think he may want.
A memorable season has come to an end. The Georgia Bulldogs ate up and spat out Todd Grantham and Bobby Petrino, who could find no QB on their roster, while Brice Ramsey showed the effects of not being prepared as I called for for him all season.
After the game, Nick Chubb was asked about his performance and he said it was about his team, not him. They blocked for him and got him the ball. He just did his job. Nick Chubb has long-established he gives the best interviews. So, ESPN asked about the future for UGA, and Nick actually for the 1st time, was caught by surprise by that question. Is it bright ? No real answer.
Hutson Mason was releasing the ball in an over throw to the end zone, and was slammed to the grass surface and his head bounced. John Lilly had rolled him out when it seemed the pocket protection was this year, awesome all year. Run blocking by this veteran OL who loses only the center, was also spectacular this season. Still, Hutson Mason was asked to roll-out to his right and throw toward the end zone. He was on an island.
Hutson Mason stated he had a concussion and everything was spinning. If you have never had a concussion, the first is recognizable. You have no idea where you are. Everything is light. You are light-headed. It takes some time, which the NCAA does not allow, to play-on. He did anyway, not telling anyone. But, he had no idea where he was or what he was doing when Nick Chubb had his memorable TD run. The hit happened when it was 13-7, having settled for 2 field goals. There was the Chris Conley beautiful post route. How does Louisville have safety on the play and coverage, and the route so adroitly run that he is wide open by 10-yards. To Hutson Mason’s credit, he hit him in stride. You could see Chris Conley get his feet right, something Brice Ramsey needs a lot of work on as detailed on this blog all season long about him, before hauling in the give-me TD reception.
Hutson Mason was dazed and confused, and led UGA Passing attack the only QB to play all season, to # 87 Passing Offense all 2014 season nationally. Not good. Not respectable. Hutson Mason did beat Mike Bobo’s 1997 season, a season I’ve pointed out to you ever since. Why he was out there with no protection, God only knows, but that was the play call. John Lilly is a Tight End’s coach here who only played QB by trade himself, and not an offensive coordinator, and he did not make this game plan. But, he did his job to fill-in, and that is good on his resume; although Mark Richt must go hire a top offensive coordinator since obviously he does not care to take over calling plays as he did when we were great 2001-2005.
2006, he started transitioning to the now demotion Mike Bobo takes to the # 92 University nationally US News and World Report ranking as top colleges in Fort Collins Colorado. Fort Collins is quite the growing city and Colorado State University is quite large actually, but they are a horrible football program. And, they always have been, with a losing record all-time in 1,040 games with only 470 wins.
Kurt Roper would be a fine choice.
Mark Richt will not hire him.
Mark Richt is trying to let John Lilly take over as O.C.
Anything, but call the plays himself.
He does not care.
Speaking of which, how in the Hell does he have a such a suntan December 30 ?
Was he on vacation in the tropics at the end of the season while we lost 2 and won 3 ?
The year, 2014, started off poorly off-field with what ended-up 16 arrested/suspended/kicked-off. And, the season got no better start than to beat an impressive Clemson, who just doesn’t have a QB – although I identified one in the game, and pointed it out in my review of that game found by clicking calendar on home page and seeing all the posts here on this blog by date they were written. As the season turned-out, Clemson took my advice at QB and is quite good right now.
They still need a running game.
Many of the teams at the bottom of the polls will drop-out. LSU comes to mind, and so too does this team Louisville, although they might hang-on utterly demolished by UGA on a day Hutson Mason and Brice Ramsey made 12 of 18 on 3rd down conversions against supposedly the # 2 best rush defense nationally. Louisville played no one. Well, the teams they played, all beat them. Clemson beat Chokelahoma like a red-headed step child. Mark Richt beat Todd Grantham, who hate each other and everything each represents, 37-14.
3 TD and a field goal Mark Richt beat Todd Grantham.
Mark Richt never liked Todd Grantham to begin with and only chose him because he was told to. He did so against his own better wishes and better judgment. He quickly criticized everything Todd Grantham ever said or did here.
There is little difference in that hate relationship and the hate relationship now enjoyed by Mark Richt as well with Greg McGarity. Greg McGarity is happy to finally have his 2nd bowl win, albeit finding only 2 SEC teams played on days’ prior to our own weenie bowl on a night of 31 degrees and a 7 mph wind from the NE. It was cold. Nick Chubb will be drafted higher than Todd Gurley II, because well, he is a workhorse and tireless and thankless at his task. That would be a factor that he did well in such cold condition for the NFL to rate him higher, since football is a winter sport, called Fall Sport.
NFL Winter Sport for sure with the cities up North.
After football, I played basketball and lettered as well. Then, the 3rd season, I lettered in track and field and also in baseball as the starting catcher my junior and senior seasons. This season has come to an end, and hopefully the off-season will not be like last year.
Mark Richt needs to get on the stick and hire Kurt Roper. He will pause and think of John Lilly. It is what he does. He just doesn’t care. If he did, he would call the games, himself. It is his Calling actually. Well, his second Calling.
Mark Richt has been fit to be tied. He cares about his suntan, but he has been fit to be tied for some time now. It is his own fault for not preparing once again his back-up QB.
Jacob Park gets a shot at the job now. Brice Ramsey has taken 2 steps back in recent games. He and Hutson Mason should have both thrown 2 more picks each. Louisville just had not played anyone. Certainly not with our talent.
Make no mistake about it, it was bitter cold. Some guys can play in the cold. Some cannot. It is a mindset, as I see it. Your task at hand, you focus in, or you are destroyed by the 7 mph wind. If it were slightly warmer, as New Year Day’s Bowls in Florida hint hint, then, the 7 mph wind or even the same temperature would not be so bad. But, this was cold. Bitter.
If you step outside in cold, you get a feel, but you have to imagine yourself in the mountains for the weekend, and nowhere to hide from it. It gets old, and you need to warm-up. A football game of 3 hours with break inside halfway, one can get one’s mind right about the cold. For that period of time.
We did and Louisville, a itty-bitty city of Healthcare really is up North.
Charlotte is certainly not down South.
Raleigh is 8 hours from us and quite North.
Nick Chubb had a task at-hand. He was in a zone, and remained there through his interviews.
All-America Nick Chubb
I am so proud of Nick Chubb.
I hope that you all are enjoying your holidays, and that at least for you, they were not mostly just discussion as with ours of Mark Richt and where his head is consistently. Tonight on this cold evening, Georgia showed what it is capable of, albeit against a team likely to be removed from some Top 25 Polls for the season, having beat no one. Still, they find a QB, and they might well be a team who can beat Clemson and FSU, the only 2 teams in the stinking ACC with their stinking bowl record, Louisville adding to that. All-Time Louisville does not even have a winning bowl record.
Notre Dame does not either.
28-19-3, now, Georgia is one of the top bowl teams, despite Mark Richt having lost 3 of our previous 4.
This was the shot in the arm we needed.
Obviously, Mark Richt is going to give Brice Ramsey the 1st right to refusal to the QB job. I’d personally consider this the right time to begin my call for Jacob Park to get more play next season than afforded strong-armed Brice Ramsey. He really has shown the rust from not playing now for two years. How you can have a QB of his caliber and put him in that position at this critical juncture of his growing life that he has not played at all really for 2 entire seasons now, is a question for Christian Mark Richt. He plays Favorites. He always has.
He is quite stubborn, a trait not normally noted about Christians, but can be in circumstances where the Christian thinks his does not stink.
Or, that his lot in life is to run others’ life for them. I believe they screwed-up their own life and have no Calling to screw-up others’ as well.
If you want to do something : Do it; do not tell me how to live my life.
I reserve that right to screw-up my own on my own, and my own way.
No one has ever told me what to do.
No one ever will.
If that your lot in life to tell others how to live their life, good luck.
All the best.
But, you are FOS to do so.
And, will fare no better than anyone else with me.
I know you are wrong to do so, and you probably know that yourself.
But, you do it anyway, because well, that makes you feel superior. I mean, well, you’ve thought about it, and this is what is right to you right now – so, you share it; but, you do not stop there : You feel obligated to ram it down everyone else’s throat how they should follow your lead.
You might change your mind.
Then, we must follow that new lead in your own direction.
Just let me be.
I am not here to live up to your expectations.
I’ve thought about it. I choose what I choose because well I get one go-round.
You shall not live my life for me.
This is where Todd Grantham got off on the wrong foot with Mark Richt.
This is where everyone has felt the need to correct Bobby Petrino – nothing but a little shit himself.
I on the other hand, you see, am quite fed-up with the
OFF-SEASON BULLSHIT BY UGA FANS OF HOW GREAT WE ARE
followed by the results of losing to far less-talented teams and ending up losing to 3 such this season alone, not to even begin to mention the 16 arrested/suspended/kicked-off. If Louisville does as I think next season, it will be because of our players in this category.
Why are they in no trouble up there ?
Is it because they are lax ?
Or, we were lax ?
Harsh punishment : Yes, by all means !
But, we turned our backs on them when they needed us most, and we failed to teach them to obey the rules, prior.
Is someone teaching them to obey the rules, there ?
The police had no problems here finding them, and there no different.
Here they were Forgiven.
Loved when they bad. Sent all the wrong signals at all the wrong times. Not taught to obey the rules, therefore. It is our Achilles’ heel.
And, so another off-season begins.
One with great promise for the future of a few and others, well the end.
A time when standing-pat once again, will just not get it.
But, without the sour taste in our mouths we had until tonight in the cold.
Todd Grantham is tossing and turning.
On a night they had no QB, our quarterbacks were woeful, but converted 3rd down two-thirds of the time. Funny how that works. 2/3 of the time lose in football, and you are an also ran. In baseball, the greatest ever at the plate, and in football for the game, the winner.
Or, the loser failing that.
We racked-up 505 yards of offense, 305 on the ground against the # 2 best rushing defense nationally.
Our OL tore them a new one every play. Nick Chubb had a Thanksgiving Feast of cardinal stew.
1-0 all-time now thanks to Nick Chubb.
Let’s get out our crystal ball, shall we ?
Mark Richt will drag his feet on his OC and lean towards John Lilly promote from within. Brag on the plays he neither designed, the OL he neither recruited or trained, the running back he neither recruited or trained, and the game plan he also neither came-up with nor the plays themselves he conceived. He will be bragged about 37-14, not Nick Chubb All-America, then promoted.
A special teams’ coach will not then be hired.
To fill that old position of John Lilly.
Tight Ends’ Coach who knows nothing about Tight Ends.
Quarterback by trade, his Calling may well have been to ultimately be OC, but he has no experience wasting his time teaching that which he knows not, Tight Ends. When what you do your whole entire time is but tight ends, you well might learn something about that, but you certainly are not honing your skills to conjure up not an antiquated offense, as our own. And, this what Mark Richt wants. It is his team. You call plays here, you will call the plays 10 years’ ago he designed and since we’ve run.
10 years’ ago, it worked.
Now, we need new vision.
Not the antiquated one conjured up by a then vibrant young man, who since just doesn’t care, or he would take over play-calling duties himself – by far our best option since we were great then. Elite. Losing to the likes of 7-win South Carolina and 6-win Florida ( who did not lose 6 games, yet.) and # 52 recruits of Georgie tek, is most certainly
We have not been elite since Mark Richt last called our plays.
We got a sniff of what this season might have been with a QB to complement the running game tonight, but unfortunately, Brice Ramsey was only allowed to throw
24 this season
24 is all we had Brice Ramsey complete all season, and that includes coming-in the 2nd quarter of this game and playing exclusively there after. He was poor as a result.
When all you are allowed to do in a 15-game season for the top teams of which we are not one because of this, is to complete 24 passes, you are not in the least able to come in and play a top defense, rated that way without beating anyone or not.
Buck Belue, he played tonight. He had to. For one, we were ahead 13-7 when Hutson Mason suffered his career-ending concussion, and 20-7 when he came in for him. For two, he was not prepared by Mike Bobo and Mark Richt. Damn it, you have to play your freaking back-up quarterbacks.
How many times, do I have to tell you the same basic precepts of college football ?
Brice Ramsey looked like shit out there tonight and it all is because he has not played at all in 2 years’ time of 24 passes. That’s one completion per month for 2 entire freaking years, for God’s Sake !
Get Jacob Park in in game 1 and let him throw the damn ball, live.
Don’t tell us all off-season how great Brice Ramsey is, or is not, and teach him instead how to throw the football by placing his feet in a throwing position. He has not done that since he got here. When he does, he will be sent directly to the NFL. He will anyway, and they will re-teach him that. Obviously, we’re incapable of that. John Lilly can teach him that.
We converted less than half our 3rd downs for the season, against a weak-ass schedule with the likes at running back The University of Ground Attack has never seen.
Well, we all saw it this year and it was great fun. But, Good Lord Above, had we not had the # 88 Passing Offense to complement it, defenses would not have keyed on our stable of Tailbacks. We had so many Tailbacks of great stature that even injuries, suspensions, and repeated over use of them individually with all the talent behind him sitting no the bench fresh and foaming at the bit to carry once, JJ Green quit the team, himself quite a two-way player for us who was jerked around by us, mismanaging our roster.
As we continue to do.
Nick Chubb needed to set the all-time record 266 yards ? Or, should have been taken out to great fanfare, short of that ? Win by 3 TD and a Field Goal or by a Field Goal and 2 TD ? That was the question. Again, Mark Richt left in his star tailback.
Inexcusable how we failed to prepare a back-up QB for this contingency and complement our tailbacks with a real QB with a real arm. And, inexcusable how we mismanaged our tailbacks, veritable plethora of embarrassing riches at tailback behind one of our best OL ever.
Certainly of the Mark Richt era.
And, so 29 losses for 7 seasons despite the embarrassing wealth of talent.
More than 4 losses a season. Yes, 9 seasons of 10-wins out of 14, however more than 4 losses the latest most current 7 seasons when these are 15-game seasons for the top teams. 10 wins ? Shit.
There are 30 teams who end this season with 10-win seasons. Most did not lose to 3 teams far less talented.
You will be watching them play.
They play, ALL OF THEM, after us this bowl season.
And, with the season ending, we have a I told you so.
To those few brave enough to utter as we went along that I was all wrong on the team’s direction and the documented problems on-going between Greg McGarity and Mark Richt, guess what ?
I told you so.
As to the off-season bullshit by our fan base of our greatness ?
I told you so.
We beat some good teams, and played none of the great teams.
But, we lost ladies and gentlemen to three (3) teams far less talented, all 3 of whom were we supposed to beat and handily.
2 of them, sucked.
The lone remaining loss besides 2 sucky teams was # 52 avg recruiting rank to our # 9. We had all 3 games won. The QB cost us all 3 losses. The same one who lost to Nebraska last bowl game, another unranked team.
Mark Richt really wants a puppet O.C. so he can closet call the plays, like he has been doing. But, he doesn’t care anymore or he would’ve updated this offense. And, he doesn’t care, or he would have called the plays all his career here instead of 2001-2005 when we were great.
So ends a season of no bananas as I promised before it started, and for the reasons I promised as well.
We go into the off-season with a top recruiting class coming-in. About # 8 I calculate we will find our class ranked. It has no QB; that’s the year after next. Will he be a 4-year starter ? I called for one this season. We failed because we did not.
In the end, we were forced to bring in someone else and he has 24 passes now he’s had in 2 years’ worth of time. Friq. Aaron Murray threw that many in 1 quarter.
We shall see at QB, as OC, as TE coach when we do not throw the ball any longer in our out-of-date offense to TE anymore, as to whether TE Coach is instead Special Teams’ Coach, and how many arrested/suspended/kicked-off will kill our season next season, not nearly as kind a schedule as this wasted season.
But, a season that for a change ends on a high note. For that, we’re thankful.
We did not have interceptions, sacks and fumbles for a change in this old-style basic offense. We should have suffered a lot of interceptions but our schedule weak-ass, and our opponents all dropped them. We fumbled a fair bit, but did not lose them. And, when we sacked, they were all in games against weak-ass teams who game planned that they would make Hutson Mason beat them. Louisville did not do that tonight. They never could stop Nick Chubb.
We need wrinkles on offense.
Isaiah Mackenzie was conspicuously missing. That just # 16 for the season, and no one would say why.
But. Faton Bauta did not play and he can play many positions.
Tramel Terry made a bone-jarring tackle on special teams.
Zach DeBell, as it turns out did not play – so, there’s that.
Ray Drew, Starter the last 11 games, body slammed a poor whiny little guy.
Leonard Floyd had surgery.
JJ Green did not play, but we would not have played him anyway – jerking him around like so many.
Toby Johnson did not start, but was hero.
Tim Kimbrough did not start once all season. Our linebackers were that good, because this man can get the job done.
Keith Marshall gets another medical year. He was rushed back when obviously he was not ready and still compensating. We have so many tailbacks, JJ Green left over it.
Quincy Mauger who started 7 games including the last 3, we will have to find out about his injury.
Sony Michel started against Louisville and would have battled Nick Chubb for the honors this game had not our special teams needlessly away from the ball not involved, tackled Louisville defender from the back. Damn it. We did that shit all season.
So, it does not look like there were any other suspensions.
Might move up but not making any Top 10 – don’t deserve it.
On to basketball, baseball, recruiting signings, G-Day Game, new QB we got an unfair glimpse of not prepared at all with 24 passes the latest 2 years’ period here, and an off-season of standing pat – like 29 losses great these latest 7 years.
2nd Half of the Mark Richt era shows us with 29 losses, an entire third to unranked teams.
Half the teams we lost to latest 29 losses, nowhere considered better.
The ACC drops to 3-5 this bowl season, like they always do.
LSU gave away their game for SEC only loss.
The big bowl games are in 2 days’ time. The day before New Year, and New Year’s Day.
Well, I wake up and read the AJ-C Sports Section as I’ve done here every day now since the fifties, and front page Sports, there is Mark Bradley in print edition having an entire half-hour scheduled one-and-one interview with Greg McGarity, UGA Athletics Director. It goes on for 2 pages in print. 1 whole entire page.
Greg McGarity was installed as the puppet replacement for Damon Evans by the same guy who hired Damon Evans of the famous videos warning us at Sanford not to drink and drive. Mike Adam$ hired Damon Evans much to the chagrin of all Bulldogs’ fans everywhere to replace the wildly popular (still) Vincent J. Dooley who has 3 (three) national championships in football in all the same polls Georgie tek has all their nc in (although Georgie tek never has won an AP Poll nc except once in girls’ tennis long ago now) and Vince made a number of great hires. Then, Damon Evans “do you know who I am,” he whined to the Roswell Policemen, was arrested for DUI. His bimbo, like that of our next opponent Bobby Petrino coach of Louisville, got both in deep hot water.
Hot water, not unlike that of Greg McGarity and Mark Richt, today. That Greg McGarity and Mark Richt neither have bimbos is of little consolation to either on this day.
They’re both Goody Two-shoes, and this where the dissimilarity ends with Bobby Petrino and Damon Evans. Mark Richt and Greg McGarity are beyond reproach with regard to bimbos, but their efforts at winning have put both in hot water. Both are on the hot seat. Both the subject of many e-mails from supporters such as myself, and you, no doubt. Greg McGarity states he reads them and replies to many, by the way.
With Greg McGarity, there never was a good time. He came here from Florida in the off-season after the 2009 season – not a stellar year for Mark Richt and frankly neither was the 2008 either with both all the losses and all the off-field arrests and suspensions.
To begin the next season for Mark Richt, Greg McGarity was here in his current position in charge for the win over Louisiana Lafayette. Then, the dam broke for Greg McGarity, and the roof caved-in on Mark Richt.
Not that the dust has settled even yet after the Louisiana Lafayette win to begin that season when Greg McGarity was installed as our puppet-AD of Mike Adam$, the losses since have been staggering. To replace widely unpopular Mike Adam$’ previous puppet-AD, Damon Evans. “Here just let me drive the vehicle home officer, ok ? Do you even know who I am ?”
So, Greg McGarity knew coming-in, that he was taking over a football program in dire straights for 2 entire seasons before he was hired. Both of the previous 2.
Mike Adam$ was so unpopular here in The Bulldogs’ Nation that when we went to the Sugar Bowl at the Georgia Dome and sat down, we none of us could quit booing Mike Adam$ and his wife before we were behind 0-28 to West Virginia, mind you. That may seem like a long time to you 28 to nothing, but we showed-up unprepared and no game plan, unmotivated – all this while the entire Georgia Dome was rocking from the booing of Mike Adam$.
I wonder who picked up the check with Greg McGarity and Mark Bradley meeting at a restaurant downtown here in Atlanta ?
Mike Adam$ bilked us for all we were worth on such junkets.
Even double-dipping on expense reports, and later after being caught red-handed saying he would please like to re-pay that 1.
I do not know what the budget is yet for the new replacement of Mike Adam$ because he has failed to provide it, despite an e-mail to me personally and despite his URL Link to nothingness as well. Lots of fluff, and no substance. In fact, that is all Jere Morehead has done as well, replacing the wildly unpopular Mike Adam$.
So, you have wildly unpopular folks for a variety of reasons. In this case, the subject of all this interview is Mark Richt. I love the guy as a person and fellow Christian. But, we did not hire him as either of those. He is our football coach in charge of winning, not something else we adhere to here at UGA more important than winning as Mark Richt was quoted just a week ago telling us fans.
But, Greg McGarity’s failures go back all the way to after when the 2009 season of Joe Cox was over. The beginning of the 2010 season, perhaps you recall, found Greg McGarity here for the whole year in its entirety. All 6-7 of it. The loss to Colorado who fired their coach, like Florida did their coach this year. Greg McGarity and Mark Richt lost both of those games together. It’s a sordid story of their failures on and off the field together. Jere Morehead ? No comment from him ? Really ? If Mark Bradley can have this no-holds-barred interview where he does not have to kowtow to the AD to ask these questions, and the dimwit is stupid enough to show-up right now for it, why not interview Jere Morehead. Hand him this post right here. All the losses all 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and now 2014 have mounted for Greg McGarity and Mark Richt and all the arrests/suspensions/kicked-off which caused all these losses to less-talented teams. It is far from pretty the entirety of this match made in Hell of Mark Richt and Greg McGarity – Loserviille together and bad press city as well.
Mark Richt and Greg McGarity have teamed-up to be the biggest under-achievers in football history because we have had the 2nd best talent in the nation and have lost to ten (10) teams who either did not make both the AP or Coaches’ Poll for these 5 seasons they’ve been together, or the loss was to a team who was not ranked at game-time, or both, or the team did not make the AP Poll for the season.
Worse, we are only 45-21 overall during their tenure together a ludicrous puppet and a we do not even try to win because we believe in God here and that more important than winning coach. I do not know what you know about college football, but I share with you as a fan of this sport for all these years now, that 21 losses for 5 seasons is MORE than 4 Losses a Season, which is what Greg McGarity and Mark Richt have both accomplished together – not to diminish their myriad off-field bad press as well.
It’s not a pretty picture no matter how you try to paint it.
And, the same goes for Mark Richt for the years Greg McGarity was not here, after 2007 as well – the back-drop to the hire of AD Greg McGarity the horrid 2008 and 2009 seasons back-to-back.
2008 was a particularly poor season for UGA before Greg McGarity was hired, so this was there as a backdrop to his hire. We had 22 players in bar brawls pre-season 2008 being named # 1 Pre-Season Consensus in both the AP and Coaches’ Poll for the only time in school history. That very night of the polls both being released, we partied hearty. It was clearly the worst day in UGA Bulldogs’ College Football History that Saturday night before the season started when the AP Poll was released also showing us # 1. We had so many suspensions that Mark Richt was fortunate to be able to field an offense, special teams, and defense. We struggled against every team we played.
Then, having beat the teams we struggled against, we were dropped in the polls from # 1 and then we faced Alabama at our house on national TV the game-time # 6 team and we # 3. We fell behind 0-31. We do this all the time under Mark Richt, don’t we ?
We are simply frequently unprepared, unmotivated, and must be with our heads in the clouds, filled of off-season bullshit from our fan base on how great they all are, and don’t think they need to GATA. That they can just show-up and well, the worse ranked team, Alabama in this case, would just roll-over and play dead.
No, that’s UGA.
UGA is great at rolling-over and playing dead.
On the sidelines, he frequently is shown just asleep, sitting there on his bag of ice.
Mark Richt has put our fanbase asleep after 2007 similarly.
Mark Richt’s teams show up all too frequently the entire 2nd half of the Mark Richt era after 2007, asleep at the wheel, like UGA. After we lost to Alabama 2008, we lost to Florida and to Georgie tek. We were supposed to win ALL 3.
2009 was the year of Joe Cox when he was bragged about by Mark Richt and Mike Bobo yet he played with his chronic shoulder that kept him out of every 4th practice all season, and he had the flu against Okie State. We flew Joe Cox on charter flight to Stillwater because of his flu. Instead of what I called for pre-game of now NFL Zach Mettenberger, these dumbass UGA coaches told us all Joe Cox was the greatest QB on our roster. Bullshit and I said so pre-game, pre-season 2009 of Joe Cox as I did about Matthew Stafford not Joe Tereshinski III the 2006 season and as I rightfully called this season about Hutson Mason and his # 87 Passing Offense for UGA 2014 against a WEAK-ASS schedule. We also lost in addition 2009 to Okie State, to LSU, vols, Florida, and even to Kentucky. We average OVER 4 Losses a season under Mark Richt after 2007,with 29 Losses and Counting, so this 2009 season was no aberration, now was it ? 5 losses and that no aberration. Did you get that DISNEYdawgs.com Mark Richt Apologists ?
Then, this is where Greg McGarity was hired as Damon Evans’ replacement by Mike Adam$. After this horrid 2008 and 2009 on and off the field.
45-21 Greg McGarity and Mark Richt together here
45-21 Greg McGarity and Mark Richt together. Not exactly a match made in heaven, despite both being Little Miss Goody Two-shoes.
45-21 is win 2, lose 1, win 2, lose 1, win 2, lose 1 ad infinitum ad nauseam. It’s sickening with the 2nd best recruiting average ranking 2001-2015, and that as verified 2nd best nationally. For those who think the recruiting services are well just wrong. Excuse me, but Mark Richt also has 81 NFL Draft Picks 2001-2014, also 2nd best in the nation. So, if the recruiting services are wrong, so is the entire NFL.
Under-Achiever label fits ?
We have had 118 signed scholarship LOI in the Greg McGarity/Mark Richt era here, who with a redshirt season would be playing in this bowl game, only 2 SEC teams playing before us this entire bowl season. There are 14 SEC teams. 2 play before us. Of the 118 LOI Greg McGarity/Mark Richt era, 72 can play in this weenie bowl in Charlotte. Mark Bradley quotes, by the way, Greg McGarity pointing out as I that Mark Richt has lost 3 of the latest 4 bowl games. This is Greg McGarity’s Bowl Record, pardon me. And, together their collective bowl record to have lost together Greg & Mark show 3 of the 4 bowl games they’ve had.
72 of 118 signed LOI scholarship recruits all remaining for Bowl Game
These 2 together have been an abomination, both on the field winning 2 losing 1 the entire time together, but also so many arrests/suspensions/kicked-off that Greg McGarity quipped in September that there had been zero in September. 15 for the year 2014, but 0 for September. He was proud of that. I thought at the time, if he were I and I made such a statement, it would have been on Saturday Night Live in a skit making fun of UGA Bulldogs’ Football Program to make such a hyperbolic statement.
Surely, no one not making a joke would quip that we had none arrested/suspended/kicked-off in September in a year 2014 in which 15 were arrested/suspended/kicked-off. Right ?
That just means we had 1 more some 4 other months, then.
Howdy Doody couldn’t have been more funny on his best day.
Reminds me of what he said when they informed Ray Goff that he’d been elected in the Georgia-Florida Football Game Hall of Fame : “For which team?”
Seriously, Howdy Doody ?
No one has been arrested/suspended/kicked-off all September, sir ? Really ?
You’ve got to be kidding me.
This puppet, Greg McGarity, has presided over the biggest under-achiever in college football history winning 2, losing 1 for 5 seasons together with Mark Richt with the 2nd best talent nationally 45-21.
Half of the more than 4 losses a season average, have been inexplicable.
This season , for example, we lost to 2 unranked teams and another team whose recruiting ranking averages # 52 to our # 9, and we lost at home to give their coach not even a losing record at our house.
How bad is that ?
Well, Florida had lost 10 of their latest 13 games when we also lost to them, blown-out.
South Carolina to begin this mess this season has only 6 wins, same as Florida, who fired their coach.
South Carolina beat us. Everyone beat South Carolina and Florida, but us.
The damn coach has been quoted after each of the 3 losses this season.
“If I had it to do over, I’d hammer it from the 4 on 1st and goal against South Carolina giving the ball to Todd Gurley II.”
“If I had it to do over, I’d kick it deep with 13 ticks on the clock, not to the 43-yard line as a squib kick having taken the lead by 3 at home against under-manned Georgie tek.”
“As for us showing up unprepared and taking it lightly that all these football players on our team have been quoted by you to me that the whole team took Florida our # 1 Rival I Mark Richt am now 5-9 against, I can only offer to them all, shut up !”
Well, that’s what he said.
Mark Richt, not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
Joe Tereshinski III instead of NFL Matthew Stafford, seriously, Mark Richt as Starting QB son ?
Joe Cox instead of NFL Zach Mettenberger against Okie State, seriously, dumbass ?
Hutson Mason instead of future NFL Jacob Park AND Brice Ramsey, or even Faton Bauta ?
Mein Gott !
Got to be the stupidest coach and most ludicrous athletic director combination in the history of histories.
Together, the most unsuccessful combination – the most under-achieving in college football history with the most or 2nd most talent nationally in addition. Hard to imagine, isn’t it ?
Look, it’s one thing to get 1 QB wrong, but 3 ?
Look, it’s one thing to lose a game you’re supposed to win, but 10 un-ranked teams ?
3 of the 5 years, Greg McGarity has been unranked, for UGA Top 10 All-Time in Wins.
Mark Bradley got it right when he said in print AJ-C today that there are fans of Mark Richt who will support him no matter what.
There are not many left of those anymore. Their ranks have been depleted by half.
It’s gone on too long.
I supported Mark Richt 2001-2007, or at least 2001-2005 when I started to notice irregularities. We picked on opponents for bad behavior and then our fans refused to criticize us for it. We lost to top teams on the road where we used to always it seems to win those, or certainly the vast majority. The pendulum swung.
2011, we lost 4. You’d never know that talking to the still today Mark Richt Apologists. They are closet Mark Richt Apologists, mostly, now today where they say they are disappointed in his results on the field the dumbass stuff he says and does, and the off-field woes he wishes he could ignore every press conference telling the press do you want to talk football or that ? If that, I will just pack up my toys and leave. Adolf Hitler could not get away with that, but Mark Richt the Saint can ? Not in my lifetime. Thus, me. Thus, this. Thus, called out son.
2012, little Aaron Murray asks Mike Bobo and Mark Richt not once or twice but 3 times in front of me. All 3 times, they BOTH tell him no, do not spike it. Aaron Murray knew to spike it. That’s why he kept asking ?
Spike it ?
Spike it ?
Spike it ?
We just waste the talent we recruit. We are dumb.
I do not know what the AJ-C is doing any more. I think they must be charging 99 cents for this story in print thrown in my driveway today.
But this is not the story I am relating to you about.
Here, let me type how it starts out at least for you, and maybe you can find it if you are accustomed to paying for news available free on the Internet ?
“AD takes heat…”
“Amid some UGA fans’ doubts, McGarity ‘not afraid to make changes’…”
“In the days since Georgia lost to Georgia Tech, several people close to the program have suggested that all is not well in Athens, that some fans have lost faith in coach Mark Richt and doubt that athletic director Greg McGarity would be forceful enough to make such a high-profile change even if warranted”…
That this is the state of our football program, Proud Top 10 All-Time Wins’ Program UGA, is sickening. It has grown more tiresome as it has gone on for now 7 entire seasons of the 14 Mark Richt has been here now. Half the time. The 2nd Half. The most recent half. The Current 2nd Half of the Mark Richt era.
When we look at the polls on this blog, they all contradict The Mark Richt Apologists.
Mark Richt signed 118 scholarship recruits who with redshirt would be playing in this bowl game – which finds only 2 other SEC teams playing before us this bowl season. All 118 signed the letter of intent. Not 1 was drafted early in 2014 NFL Draft.
I submit herein that there is a correlation between arrests/suspensions/kicked-off and won/lost record, as Mark Richt over-all is 63-29 after 2007 – an average of MORE than 4 LOSSES a season nowadays.

The number after each player is their ranking at their position in the nation. RB 1 would mean Isaiah Crowell was the number 1 running back in The United States of America. These rankings are verified by not only the # 9 average recruiting rank for Mark Richt Scout.com 2001-2015, but also by his 81 NFL Draft Picks 2001-2014, both of which are 2nd best in the nation behind only Southern California in the Mark Richt era 2001-2015 and # 1 best in The SEC at both as well. So, why are we # 20 after 2007 and # 5 in The SEC after 2007 to present at winning ? Well, I am going to delve into that for you in grave detail.
Does this look like a problem here for Mark Richt ? Earth is not ethereal, but earthy, Mark Richt.
If you do not like it, do not represent me or my University in a poor way. You represent your precious damn coach however you damn well like – the wimpy ass weasel.
Mark Richt signs more to LOI than other coaches do. He over signs. Your actions reflect on your coach. You represent your University.
This is what really irks me about Mark Richt, besides all the losing – a total waste of talent. Seemingly, on purpose, a total and utter waste of talent.
A Football Coach is paid to teach the recruits to obey the rules and to win.
A Preacher has a CALLING where higher ideals than winning are the goal.
There is a confusion around here about this.
When Mark Richt said that he was freed-up so that he could spend more time on football, what has he been doing ? Freed-up from what ? Church ?
Did you know that Mark Richt was not raised a Christian ? That he was not Saved until Bobby Bowden led him to the Lord when one of the FSU players died ?
When Brent Benedict OL told Mark Richt in 2011 that the Strength and Conditioning is all wrong here, why did Mark Richt disagree with Brent Benedict then, and now all of a sudden after losing to Georgie tek’s average # 52 recruits, 6-win Florida who fired their coach the following week, and 6-win South Carolina – he fires Joe Tereshinski II (Jr.) who should never have had the job in the 1st place obviously and still does not have any clear idea in his mind whom it is he is replacing him with. Just fire him instantly after Georgie tek loss, and make it appear as if Joe Tereshinski II (Jr.) is the scapegoat for that.
Does Mark Richt over sign recruits ? Mark Richt is supposed to be some coach who does NOT over sign, but does he in reality ?
Does Mark Richt over sign ?
Why does Mark Richt over sign ?
Why does he act like he doesn’t ?
Why do Mark Richt Apologists put-up with this ?
Honestly, the ranks of the Mark Richt Apologists are DWINDLING.
This BLOG has had a great part in this.
Here, I do not put-up with whiny little their shit doesn’t stink, Mark Richt Apologists. Not for one New York damn nanosecond, and never have and never will.
You want the facts ?
Or, are you going to sit there and try to tell me what is, isn’t and what isn’t is ?
You make up your own mind.
But, do not come whining to me.
Here we will discuss Mark Richt’s Religion and his CALLING from a Christian Viewpoint.
We will ALSO call it like it is.
Ask Fran Tarkenton.
I call it like it is.
Mark Richt signed 119 scholarship recruits who with redshirt would be playing in this bowl game – which finds only 2 other SEC teams playing before us this bowl season. All 119 signed the letter of intent. Not 1 was drafted early in 2014 NFL Draft.
The losses, arrests, suspensions, and kicked-off continue to mount on the coach Mark Richt, his loser AD Greg McGarity and Jere Morehead UGA’s do-nothing say nothing president.
These are all players who other schools recruited as well, but here at UGA is where they were given a lax sense of obeying the rules – often followed by harsh punishment and turning of the back by Mark Richt on the young men just when they needed him the most. Mark Richt did the most he could do to minimize the exposure of these incidents, and to cover them all up as best he could, including below as noted completely refusing to even contact the police and authorities, even for felonies he kicked them off the team for. Sending continuing lax sense of obeying the rules to these recruits, for whom Mark Richt alone is given all the credit for signing here even after they were no longer part of the team, Mark Richt has been cited in most of these incidents recently as saying he Loves the kids. This is a confusing and contradictory stance by Mark Richt to tell players that screwed-up here, that he loves them just when they needed him to be firm and make them understand that they must obey the rules.
Christians have these problems; they believe that they are forgiven; therefore they are not direct that the recruits here must obey the rules; in fact, Mark Richt is completely the opposite of direct that his recruits must obey the rules when he tells them after he kicks them off the team that he Loves them, which is worse than a mixed message on obeying the rules and really tantamount to directly telling them it’s ok – that they are forgiven. They are not forgiven. They bring bad press upon the good name of The University of Georgia. Mark Richt’s Christian goals of ministering to these kids are in direct contradiction to winning here at UGA, which is best exemplified by Mark Richt’s own quote just last week, that there is something here at The University of Georgia that we adhere to which is more important than winning. Mark Richt’s calling is to be a preacher man, not to be head coach of a football team. In fact, I do not believe that you can find ANY evidence to the contrary that Mark Richt does care about winning football games or coaching football or learning even the basic precepts of a calling of being a head football coach. He believes his calling actually is preacher man. A man cannot serve 2 Gods; he must either have a calling at $ 3.5 million annually to be a head football coach as his calling; or, he must have the calling to be a preacher man : Not both – as to have BOTH as priority # 1 goals, would be contradictory; it is, however, possible to have BALANCE in your life and witness to others in ANY calling; it’s just that Mark Richt’s calling is not to be football coach but minister.
When Mark Richt 1st got here, many of the recruits he brought in, he bragged about to the press that the reason he brought-in a trouble-maker was that he wanted to minister to him. After 14 years now, Mark Richt now sings a different tune on that – now, saying other schools recruited them as well, and then kicking them off the team like that exonerates him and cleanses his soul of them; but they say he turned his back on them just when they needed him the most.
Seen on the sidelines following losses to 10 teams after 2007 who did not make either the AP or Coaches’ Polls, or were not ranked at game time, or failed to make the final AP Poll, Mark Richt appears down-trodden by this double-whammy that he brings bad press to UGA on and off the field.
Mark Richt appears to the world as a defeated man over all this. Of the latest 24 games against teams higher ranked than he for these recent seasons, he has lost 20. Of the latest 21 games either as visitor or neutral fields against a team ranked for that season in either the AP or Coaches’ Polls, Mark Richt has lost 16. Of the latest 33 games against teams making either the AP or Coaches’ Polls for that season, Mark Richt has lost 23.
I submit herein that there is a correlation between arrests/suspensions/kicked-off and won/lost record, as Mark Richt over-all is 63-29 after 2007 – an average of MORE than 4 LOSSES a season nowadays.
It has come to the point today, where Mark Bradley wrote an article in the AJ-C print Sunday that even the old-school diehard Bulldogs’ fans have come to the same realization as Mark Richt appears to have come to on the sidelines, appearing worn-out from all this losing on the field to lesser teams who have lesser talent who he should never have lost to and from the continuing on-going never-ending off field arrests/suspensions/kicked-off.
I mean how can he be a minister, if at every press meeting, he has to take charge of the press meeting by telling the press to shut-up ? That if they do not want to discuss football, that he will go to his room and just spend his time, praying.
Mark Richt after losing to Florida, whom Mark Bradley points out fired Will Muschamp 15 days’ later, told the press when they informed him of player after player who admitted they took Florida lightly because well they had lost to 10 of their latest 13 games at game time, that his players should all just shut-up.
Defense of Mark Richt is considered defending the faith of The Bulldogs’ Program, and so many topics such as this are banned, deleted, censored, edited so that no discussion of same can be openly laid-out and gone through thoroughly.
There, however, is a growing concern among even those where about half of them have abandoned their earlier belief in Mark Richt and censorship of anything remotely resembling criticism of Mark Richt, and joined the bandwagon of the bastion group who actually do make the Bulldog Nation, the Bulldog Nation. Those from that camp forever will be known to be not Bulldog Football Program fans but fans of just only Mark Richt.
Why else would one put up with all this ?
Surely, the Top 10 All-Time College Football Wins’ Program has both College and Pro Hall of Fame Football Players who tell it to you like it is, guys like Fran Tarkenton who tells us too that Mark Richt is out of balance in his Religion and what SHOULD BE HIS CALLING of head college football coach at Top 10 All-Time UGA.
If your calling, indeed is football coach, then there is NOTHING more important than winning. And, this hogwash around here the contrary by Mark Richt is just yet another attempt to control your mind, have you drink the Kool-Aid, and to put-up with what Todd Gurley II termed mediocre losing.
Well, yeah, except that does not address the cause for all this losing – all the arrests/suspensions/kicked-off.
(1)WR NR Lonnie Outlaw – Wide Receiver Georgia Military, failed to Qualify
(2)DT 16 Michael Thornton
(3)OT 90 Kenarious Gates
(4)QB 53 Hutson Mason recruited because we kicked-off Zach Mettenberger. Zach Mettenberger kicked off team – Quarterback – LSU. He has 8 TD Passes in his 6 Starts in the NFL with 60 % completion ratio and 1,412 yards passing. There is no damn way that he should have stayed on the damned bench against Okie State 2009. That’s bullshit that Joe Cox with chronic shoulder and with flu only played against Okie State. I said that pre-game, as I did that Brice Ramsey or Jacob Park should have played against South Carolina instead of Hutson Mason who gets to play 1 more football game in his lifetime. And, as I said about not Joe Tereshinski III but Matthew Stafford. We recruit all these top 10 QBs in the nation, but then we have this bullshit lying coach who tells you the obvious poor QB is the better QB. Not in their lifetimes.
(5)MLB 74 Alexander Ogletree – suspended multiple times for violation of team rules, including the 4-game suspension for REPEATED FAILED DRUG TEST mandatory by my alma mater school policy. Removed from roster supposedly for medical reasons. Part of a package deal in the 1st place to get his NFL twin brother, Alec. Mike Bobo said he had a bad attitude. Was he kicked-off or mutually agreed to go to medically ineligible ? You tell me ? The issue here, as with all these others, is that Zander obviously has an illegal drug issue reported widely and that he had a bad attitude, but that Mark Richt could not maintain discipline. It cost us games. It cost us tons of bad press. It caused turmoil.
(6)DT 6 Garrison Smith
(7)DE 12 T.J. Stripling
(8)DE 45 Dexter Morant – quit when he 1st got here. Unquit later. Then, flunked-out.
(9)S JC Jakar Hamilton – transferred-out Safety South Carolina State, not like we needed any damn safeties here, is it ?
(10)DE 52 Brandon Burrows – serious high school injury after offered scholarship. Mark Richt kept the scholarship anyway. Brandon showed-up and quit the team as soon as he got here too. Then, he too changed his mind and unquit. Then, it was revealed that he really could not play due to injuries and then was put on medical hardship. This was supposed to be good press that Mark Richt left his offer intact ? I don’t think so, like the others listed herein, this is why the other coaches retracted their offer ladies and gentlemen.
(11)RB 25 Ken Malcome – to replace all these arrested/suspended/kicked-off running backs, Ken Malcome was here for us. What did Mark Richt do all 2011 while all this was going on with Isaiah Crowell ? Well, sir, Mark Richt gave FAVORITISM to Isaiah Crowell at the expense of Ken Malcome that is exactly what happened. 2011, Ken Malcome witnessing Isaiah Crowell given the opportunity to play Florida 3 days’ after FAILING THE DRUG TEST and all the other bullshit Isaiah Crowell subjected us all to, quit Mark Richt. Told him to his face. Ken Malcome had Mark Richt over a barrel. So, Mark Richt promised him he would play him. So, Ken Malcome un-quit Mark Richt. Then, Mark Richt did NOT play Ken Malcome and Ken Malcome AGAIN QUIT MARK RICHT – this time over the LIES by Mark Richt to Ken Malcome. Tailback 2014 Southern Illinois. Good school with a top athletic department. OL depth issues, RB depth issues, secondary depth issues… Quarterbacks signs all these top 10 Quarterbacks every year, and NEVER PLAYS THEM EITHER. It’s Bullshit how you WASTE talent here Mark Richt and PLAY FAVORITES. Hutson Mason comes to mind. Joe Cox comes to mind. Joe Tereshinski III comes to mind; his dad comes to mind as coach. Your DC for years comes to mind Willie Martinez. It’s what you do, Mark Richt you sorry piece of shit. All contradictory to your goal of winning here, which NOW you say is NOT YOUR GOAL HERE AT ALL BUT SOMETHING HIGHER. Bullshit Mark Richt and bullshit son on you, sir. Fed up with it all. Is that a FLAME ? I know this, it’s every word true – and more importantly, it’s TO THE DAMN POINT. Mike Bobo had to take up for you with Ken Malcome, Mark Richt. That made you feel good ? Or, that made you remember what you promised Ken Malcome, Mark Richt ? That all while instead, despite all the issues with Isaiah Crowell, you played Crowell and NEVER Ken Malcome. Why recruit the kid if you do not want to play him and want to lie to him Mark Richt ? Ken Malcome was 2nd leading on his team Southern Illinois Salukis last year with 5 Touchdown runs, but this season was cut short by injuries. But, that’s not the point Mark Richt, why play Isaiah Crowell stubbornly like you did as nothing but FAVORITISM when Ken Malcome you told, you would play instead. Sometimes you act Holier than God Mark Richt and sometimes, you are totally against everything that are my Christian Values. So, quit already Mark Richt with the bullshit about your Christianity, and coach football players. Was Ken Malcome like all your other running backs Mark Richt ? No, sir. But, you played them all despite their BAD PRESS at the expense of good kids, Mark Richt; and, I sir, take exception to that, as a Christian. I take exception to that on the basis of chemistry on the team, and by that I do NOT mean drugs, Mark Richt. You do not treat players right all the time Mark Richt – sometimes, you just get damn stubborn and play them no matter what they do. Montez Robinson comes to mind – arrested battery/family violence, multiple incidents, in fact Mark Richt went to jail and talked with him after he had not only picked-up his girlfriend allegedly and thrown her repeatedly to the floor, but also had a previous violent incident with her also arrested for and a 3rd time with her where he beat-up allegedly not her this time, but her car, kicked-off finally after ALL this. Absolutely amazing. Lax program here ? No question of it. No wonder the players love the coach. It sure as Hell is not because he is only 68 % win percentage for the last entire 7 years here, despite once having a 81 % win percentage. There are still fans today, Mark Richt Apologists, who quote what Mark Richt did way back then when he had the 81 % win percentage, who tell me on my blog here that I am taking a small subset of his career here – the 2nd half of the Mark Richt era after 2007 – to talk about 68 % win percentage and running a lax ship. Stick it where the sun doesn’t shine ! This is what you do here, Mark Richt. You want to be minister to Isaiah Crowell and Montez Robinson while nice guys like Ken Malcome get the freaking shaft by you, Mark Richt. It’s NOT right and it damn sure ain’t Christian. Maybe in the slums downtown you could put forth that as that preacher there, it was right on your part-time side job to play Isaiah Crowell and Montez Robinson after their repeated violations of EVERYTHING HOLY to give the bad boy a chance, a shot in life. But, this is NOT a trophy for everyone, and we are TRYING to win football games here. Some of us anyway, speaking for myself Mark Richt. You just are not the sharpest knife in the drawer, as you repeatedly prove to EVERYONE on this earth.
(12)OLB 3 Alec Ogletree
(13)CB 45 Derek Owens – became the 15th Mark Richt signed recruit who left UGA in 2011 alone who still had eligibility remaining. It was supposed to be THE GREAT EXODUS, THE CLEANSING NEEDED, THE GOOD RIDDANCE, THE GET OFF THE BUS, THE ADDITION BY SUBTRACTION. Instead, it became the mantra of only the Mark Richt Apologists who bragged THEREFORE thereafter that Mark Richt would go 15-0 and win the damn national championship. Uh huh. I believe all that shit. Right. Sure I do. How about not one friqin’ syllable of it ? None of it. I am not having any of it gentlemen. Transferred Derek Owens, Cornerback, Alabama State. We did not need any defensive backs, nah. Nothing like that.
(14)WR 84 Michael Bennett
(15)OLB 23 Demetre Baker – 10th Bulldog arrested that year too when he was arrested for DUI and under-age possession of alcohol open container in the vehicle. These are not MINOR arrests, are they ? Mark Richt suspended this 10th arrest that year for Mississippi State, whom Mark Richt LOST TO, and kicked him off the team. Demetre Baker tailback then transferred to South Alabama college whatever that is, and then was found there too in violation of team rules and also there, therefore, kicked-off.
(16)OT 10 Brent Benedict – Joe Tereshinski II, otherwise referred to as Junior – whom Mark Richt just fired after losing to Georgie tek like it was his fault – NEVER had our men training properly for Strength and Conditioning. Mark Richt had no OL 2011. Brent quit Mark Richt after discussing Joe Tereshinski II with Mark Richt 2011. 4 years’ later, Mark Richt agrees. Stubborn ass Mark Richt. Stubborn. Really stubborn. If Mark Richt has only 1 character flaw we can analyze, it is his repeated dogged stubbornness. Offensive Tackle Virginia Tech. Brent Benedict was injured AFTER Mark Richt offered him a scholarship here, and Mark Richt kept his commitment; Brent comes here to UGA and cannot play because of the injury and then goes to Virginia Tech where his career ends with him unable to play, after starting 7 games last year 2013. He just could not go, medical disqualification. But, he sure took his shots at Mark Richt and his Strength and Conditioning Program here, didn’t he ? And, again, how does this look giving away a scholarship when materially Brent Benedict was as damaged goods as Todd Gurley II is today and as Keith Marshall is. We are running a football team here, not a Christian side-job Pop Warner everyone gets a trophy program – not here. If Brent Benedict is injured, tell him to walk-on and you guarantee him a Full Scholarship the 1st one that comes up. If Brent Benedict is not injured or it’s not a bad injury as this one, and he tells you that your S&C sucks big-time, don’t run the press and tell us how great your S&C is you numbnut only to come back now and recant all that saying it was all Joe Tereshinski II’s problem – certainly not yours. All these years, and now you say it’s Joe Tereshinski II’s fault – junior’s problem ? From 1982 to January 2011, Joe Tereshinski Jr (II), was the assistant film room projection booth operator and Mark Richt promoted him from that to Strength and Conditioning Coordinator January 2011. Players, coaches, pundits, color commentators and fans have pointed-out to Mark Richt the glaring issues on BOTH lines for example, and the myriad of warm-up technique non-necessary preventable injuries to stubborn ole Mark Richt. What does Mark Richt do ? He has bragged about Joe Tereshinski II (Junior) since the criticism started, stubborn as ever. He has disagreed with EVERYONE, and quickly changes the subject. Put his cushy damn job of $ 3.5 million on the line, and he FIRES HIM INSTANTLY. Not even a plan for replacement. I presume this means then Mark Richt that Brent Benedict was right after all in 2011 when he came to your office and told you all this, then, sir ? And, that you were wrong all along with all your hog shit manure you’ve shoveled to us since 2011 about our Strength and Conditioning as a damn Strength somehow Mark Richt ? Like everything else, which is it Mark Richt ? You said to the fan in Macon you knew what you are doing : “I know what the Hell I am doing,” you said. Really ? According to whom ? Because I cannot By God, find ANYONE who thinks you do know what the hell you are doing, and that includes now yourself as well Mark Richt. Which is it Mark Richt ? You know what the hell you’re doing, or this was all wrong from the beginning ? Which is it please sir ? OL+Brent Benedict+RFr.+Transferred to Virginia Tech

(18)S 59 Marc Deas – Derrick Lott announced he was transferring and Marc Deas followed the next day with the same. “With the news of the possible suspensions in the future for All-American safety Bacarri Rambo and starting linebacker Alec Ogletree due to drug violations, along with the suspensions of cornerbacks Sanders Commings and Branden Smith, Deas’ decision comes as bit of a surprise. Beyond Rambo and Shawn Williams, Georgia does not have a lot of depth at the safety position, which makes Deas’ choice to leave Georgia a bit of a mystery even to Richt. The loss of yet another player has also put Georgia in bit of a situation personnel-wise.” “You need as full of a boat as you can have,” Richt said. “You want to make sure you have enough guys out there to do all your special team work and everything. That’s part of the reason why we are making sure everyone is getting reps.”
(19)DE 30 Jalen Fields – failed to qualify here but inflated Mark Richt’s recruiting average like so many too many of these others as well, it was widely known he did not have the grades to get in, spent years at Georgia Military and then years at Louisiana Lafayette, then their coach said they parted mutually before 2014 season just quitting there as a back-up.
(21)RB 1 Isaiah Crowell – Dream Team Isaiah Crowell was given a scholarship because Washaun Ealey’s arrests/suspensions/kicked-off who then was replaced by Caleb King’s arrests/suspensions/kicked-off. Enter Isaiah Crowell, who was arrested on a felony weapons’ charge. Crowell also said teammates Blake Tibbs, Quintavius Harrow, Josh Harvey-Clemons and Sheldon Dawson, who were passengers in the car, had just left a club called Aftermath, according to the police report. The arresting Athens-Clarke County Police officer also stated she smelled marijuana inside the 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis that Crowell was driving. Crowell said they were drunk. Crowell had been suspended for the 1st Quarter October 15, 2011 and then was suspended the whole game November 5, 2011, both prior to this incident and there were MANY incidents on the field as well leading to all of us standing up and booing the kid. The entire crowd, both teams, stood up and booed with us at the Georgia Dome when we LOST 10-42 to LSU in The SEC Championship Game, widely described by Mark Richt Apologists as something Great Mark Richt did that he won The SEC East to get us there. There were other incidents too. We played Florida October 29th, and Thursday 27 October he failed a drug test, but was allowed to play against Florida 2 days’ later despite the double-blind positive drug test, which caused him to be suspended not October 29 for Florida but November 5 for New Mexico State college. Isaiah Crowell the # 1 RB in the nation of Carver Columbus was the LEADING RUSHER for both teams, Georgia AND Florida, getting the most rushes and the most rushing yards in a narrow 4-point win for Mark Richt. THEN, he was suspended AFTER the Florida game for failing the drug test Thursday prior to the game. Defenders of Mark Richt said they could not convict Isaiah Crowell, despite all the evidence prior as well, and despite the double-blind NCAA conducted drug test Thursday prior to Florida game Saturday because he was INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY. Obviously, they have never had the NCAA mandated drug test where it simply is not possible that either were innocent, and Mark Richt knew all that Saturday October 29, 3 days’ after the failed drug test by Carlton Thomas and Isiah Crowell, a mandatory at least 1-game suspension according to The University of Georgia WRITTEN POLICY – written by Mike Adam$ after all these arrests/suspensions/kicked-off gave HIM the Fulmer Cup National Championship in a season Georgia would start out # 1 and end # 13 in the AP Poll – had they started # 13, they would have ended-up outside the Top 25 – it was that bad – also described variously by Mark Richt Apologists as a GREAT SEASON, which it wasn’t by ANY stretch of the imagination. Was it ? Carlton Thomas and Isaiah Crowell, BOTH failed that drug test Thursday before Florida and BOTH were suspended for New Mexico State, not Florida, by Mark Richt who could’ve suspended them forthwith for either. Carlton Thomas also played against Florida. At the time, we ALL called for both to be suspended for the Florida game. We all found out about the failed drug test that Thursday night from Tweets from the players, and from the discussion again on the team bus leaving to Florida that they had FAILED THE DRUG TEST. This was improperly handled by Mark Richt, too. Wasn’t it ? Mark Richt LOST 4 games this season, BOTH of the 1st two games and BOTH of the last 2 games of 2011. It was NOT pretty sight all these mounting LOSSES and all these arrests/suspensions/kicked-off all 2011 season as well. It has been on-going never ending after 2007 for Mark Richt. Mark Richt kept sending mixed messages to the troubled-child in his doghouse and out of it all season long, seemingly every game; where even when he was playing, he seemed to be dogging it on the field according to teammates and most especially according to all of us fans AT THE GAMES like me. We even bought a Bust Boise T-Shirt at the Georgia Dome Game. Want it ? I’ll pay you $ 25 to take it. I am ashamed to even do yard work in it. Kicked off team by Mark Richt FINALLY, transferred to Alabama State college whatever that is, and now Cleveland Bad-Boys NFL where he has rushed for 546 yards this his rookie season there with Cleveland Browns December 15, 2014. It’s all a sordid mess for a player recruited by other schools, but whom Mark Richt signed and then kept sending mixed and contradictory messages to the kid. Interesting how the same very kid could have no issues with the coach at Alabama State or Cleveland. Isn’t it ? Dad laid the law down at our house, and Dad’s Dad was a Baptist Preacher. Every football coach I have ever heard of lays the law down, except Mark Richt who continues on, happy as a pig in shit, telling his recruits he signs that he LOVES them when he kicks them off. Mark Richt kicked Jasper Sanks of the team, and a month ago, Jasper Sanks said Mark Richt turned his back on Jasper Sanks, who it has been proven did NOT fumble against Georgie tek, as I said at the very moment it was called a fumble. Mark Richt because of his RELIGION, does not know how to teach the recruits to obey the rules. Obeying the rules is the definition of DISCIPLINE. We had discipline in our house of 7 from my Dad. Punishment is a punitive measure by those who are RESPONSIBLE for teaching discipline, which is not discipline but the end result for not teaching discipline. Mark Richt Apologists have NEVER LOOKED-UP THE WORD DISCIPLINE and to the day, still call punishment discipline, when Discipline is teaching to obey the rules, and punishment a punitive measure applied when the person to whom it REPRESENTS POORLY, punishes the kid harshly for their OWN FAILURE to teach the kids to obey. Funny isn’t it that some people obey the rules and others get confused, and do not obey the same authority. Trust me, all 7 of us represented our family when we were anywhere. We answer to the family, still, and always. Washaun Ealey before Isiah Crowell was arrested leaving scene of accident, failed to show-up for disciplinary running, suspended multiple times by Mark Richt for violation of team rules, asked to transfer by Mark Richt by mutual agreement, transferred to Jacksonville State, arrested there on drug possession charges. And, before Isaiah Crowell, Caleb King too was arrested multiple times including DUI here at UGA, flunked-out after all that lax program we run here where anything goes, kicked-off, went to NFL Vikings where he also was arrested and kicked-off.
(22)MLB 37 Kent Turene – failed to qualify academically. Applied to Marshall, accepted and plays there now after having to sit out a year under NCAA non-qualifier rules.

(27)S 136 Quintavious Harrow – after other incident above, Dream Team Quintavious Harrow – Safety – Garden City Community College, flunked-out. The only reason offered scholarship was to get Isaiah Crowell. I did not like the use of my scholarship monies on this lowlife in the 1st place and said it loudly on all blogs as it was offered. Mistake from the beginning and everyone knew that. Was also a horrible influence on Isaiah Crowell. Bad element. Idiot as well. Didn’t fit in. Didn’t belong.

(29)CB 9 Damian Swann
(30)WR 146 Sanford Seay – allegedly a felony theft of cash from the locker room by Nick Marshall, Sanford Seay and Chris Sanders of over $ 500 cash led to Mark Richt not calling the police, according to the Chief of Police. They covered it all up in-house, but did kick all 3 off the team for it. Wide Receiver – Louisiana Tech 2014

(32)OT 28 Zach DeBell

(36)CB 15 Nick Marshall – allegedly a felony theft of cash from the locker room by Nick Marshall, Sanford Seay and Chris Sanders of over $ 500 cash led to Mark Richt not calling the police, according to the Chief of Police. They covered it all up in-house, but did kick all 3 off the team for it. Later, at Auburn, Nick Marshall was arrested. This arrest was for possession of drugs and for illegal window tint to cover the use of drugs.
(39)QB 8 Christian LeMay – Kicked-off high school team senior season after we gave him offer. Mark Richt never wanted this guy here or his little brother. Mark Richt only wanted to be able to say, see ? See how I maintain offers after injury and after being kicked-off your high school team ? See ? I am a great guy. Come here play for me. I do it the right way, despite all the bad press and despite all the losses. Transferred-out to Jacksonville State college January 2014.

They covered it all up in-house, but did kick all 3 off the team for it. Safety 2014 JUCO transfer to Baylor.
(48)CB 11 Sheldon Dawson – violation of team rules, suspended, then after all that bad attitude arguing coaches who to play and what plays to run, rumored transferring to Memphis
(49)RB 13 Todd Gurley II – admitted sold autographs for 2 years for $3,000 unreported income, suspended for 4 games threw the entire team into turmoil, then Mark Richt after he had not played from Oct 4 to Nov 15, left him in for 29th carry to gain a 4 TD lead with a 3 TD lead already only 5 minutes remaining when Todd already was nursing a previous injury in this same game and was seen compensating for the injury he already had – also had a 100-yard kick-off return called back. He was worn-out beyond all get-out, and it was a bitter cold windy day – Mark Richt criticized widely for leaving him in, did not do so next game with Nick Chubb. Has ins policy paid for by UGA which he no doubt will have to invoke in the NFL Draft he was going to be a Top 8 pick in – announced from hospital he is the only Bulldog to say he will declare for early entry into the NFL Draft. Mark Richt would be liable if Todd sues him personally in addition for gross negligence.

(61)P NR Collin Barber
(62)FB 2 Quayvon Hicks
(63)DE 18 Leonard Floyd – this is the 1st time we recruited him and inflated Mark Richt’s recruiting ranking because he failed to qualify academically.
(64)TE 18 Ty Flournoy-Smith – arrested for filing false report of a crime, then Josh-Harvey Clemons admitted to UGA police that Josh had been doing drugs in his room and Ty was in the room with Josh – so Ty was kicked-off the team and Josh was given a 1-game suspension for the opening game for this offense that cost Ty his scholarship here and got Ty kicked-off the team. The police report read that the dorm room wreaked of drugs that permeated the hallways. Had this gone in Colorado, Oregon Washington, and Alaska this incident would have been illegal because of their age. In ADDITION to all that, the books he said were stolen in a sworn police report, were turned-in by him for cash later. Ty Flournoy-Smith is Tight End Alabama 2014 playing in the play-offs and # 1 in the nation.
(68)OT 31 DeVondre Seymour – failed to qualify, at Hinds Community College Mississippi, nephew and adopted son of Richard who I thought deserved Super Bowl MVP quite clearly he was the star of the game.
(74)CB 19 Brendan Langley – Started at Free Safety against Missouri in 34-0 rout, played in 5 other games 2014, transferred-out, did not get a snap against Georgie tek, but did the game before, already not listed on roster
(75)RB 37 A.J. Turman
(76)OLB PG Leonard Floyd this time he qualified
(77)DT PG John Atkins
(78)S JC Shaquille Fluker – Safety – Transferred-out also to Jacksonville State for 2014 season after recruited here JUCO from East Mississippi Community College but never got a single snap here at UGA.
(79)S 34 Paris Bostick – Safety/Linebacker – Mutually Transferred-out 2014 to Iowa Western Community College, forced out, forced transfer. Butted heads with Mark Richt in bold fashion. I’ve done that myself. If you have, it is because of me. “I mean, best of luck to all the other recruits and everybody who’s up there, but I’m not coming up there to sit on the bench and wait my turn. That’s not me.” Jerked around from Safety to Inside Linebacker and buried at that position with all the issues we have in the secondary, quite obviously. Quit. Forced Out. Both. He did not want to be buried on depth chart at ILB but PLAY in the completely depleted Secondary. This one is on Mark Richt too, and he and he alone, as he is the coach. It ALL REFLECTS on Mark Richt and his mismanagement of the talent. Doesn’t it ? When it is THIS PREVALENT, and at positions of needs, Mark Richt’s REPEATED STUBBORNNESS, is a character flaw caused by his Christian Beliefs where Mark Richt is sure he is Forgiven, so he does whatever the Hell he wants to do, even though it is in DIRECT CONFLICT with his $ 3.5 million CALLING, supposedly to be our head coach – not some damn Christian Minister. I go to Church, but I would not make these decisions. This is because I am balanced and know that being a preacher like Grand Dad is NOT my calling in life. His, yes sir. That’s fine, but do NOT make decisions that are directly because you THINK you are a PREACHER when what you SAID your calling is is to coach our kids. There is NOTHING we adhere to here more important than winning and making decisions which lead to success on the football field and off the field representing YOU MARK RICHT and us well, both on the field and off. You just don’t get it Mark Richt. Quit coaching and preach, sir. Quit the charades. I am not in the least bit fooled by your RELIGION Mark Richt. Know why ? I have spent MORE time in Church than you have Mark Richt, only led to the Lord by Bobby Bowden and that not long ago. You’re just confused Mark Richt and NOT CENTERED, sir. You also have not done shit after 2007. What’s that all about ? 2011 was not the only year Mark Richt had no OL. He had the same problem 4 previous times, and each time went out ONLY THEN and recruited 7 OL in one season. That’s just bullshit Mark Richt. 2008, you had this problem with your OL. 2002, you had this problem with your OL. 2003, you had this problem with your OL. 2004, you had this problem with your OL. Why the same recurring problems with your OL, Mark Richt, son ? What’s the deal here ? Can’t you communicate Mark Richt ? You surely struggle with communicating with the Press, too, don’t you ? Remember the fan in Macon, you quipped back to with I know what the Hell I am doing. Remember ? All this storm from ALL THESE OLD-SCHOOL BULLDOG FANS, and yes 1 guy has been dogged in this from the get-go : ME ! And, Mark Richt in his stubbornness, has made NO EFFORT to communicate with the base who PAY HIM $ 3.5 million a year. Know why ? Because he is freaking stubborn. By the way, stubborn is not a Christian personality trait; in fact, it is completely the OPPOSITE of Christian personality traits. Christians are NOT stubborn. Christians are completely the opposite of stubborn.

Transfer Georgie tek – obviously, they NEVER let us have 1 of their players who quits their team but for some really odd reason, we allow very talented players who started for us this season – J.J. Green – to transfer to Georgie tek. All we ever did with this talent was jerk him around here, and he is a crowd favorite who kept his nose clean and stayed out of trouble. Fine young man. Excellent football player, EVERY position, they jerked him around to and from. 2-way player. Probable NFL Draft Pick. Good guy. Put up with a lot of crap here, which the coaches pulled on HIM.

This 2015 Recruiting Class, Darnell Salomon is arrested felony burglary on recruiting invite here July 23, 2014. The beat goes on, and the losses therewith.
This 2015 Recruiting Class will end up the # 8 in the nation, which is what Mark Richt averages 2001-2014.
But, is it really ?
Isn’t Mark Richt really with only 73 of these 119 remaining to play in the bowl game all he has left of the 119 he signed who with a redshirt year would be playing, just double-dipping himself ? Isn’t he just replacing those who are arrested/suspended/kicked-off ? Isn’t that really what we do and have been doing after 2007 here, while we lose as a result ? While our dumbass head coach tells us that we have something more important than winning we do here at Georgia.
We do ?
Yeah, replace all the arrested/suspended/kicked-off. It’s a full-time job by itself, never mind the dumbass coach thinks his calling is not to be head coach UGA but preacher man.
What will we do next year ?
It will not be one damn bit different, at all. Will it ? Come on now, you can say it !
Based on what we’ve seen after 2007, Mark Richt will lose inexplicable losses to despicably lousy not nearly as talented teams, and not be competitive with the very top teams either, oh, and we will have a year 2015 with bad press of arrests/suspensions/kicked-off and more lies about all of this.
Drink the Kool-Aid. This guy has become one bad coach on and off the field, hasn’t he after 2007 ?
The 2nd Half of the Mark Richt era 2008-2014. What he did do 2001-2007 was so long ago, it’s not relevant any more :
2001 Miami won a national championship in the Mark Richt era here, Larry Coker 1st year as head coach.
2002 Ohio State won a national championship in the Mark Richt era here, Jim Tressel 2nd year as head coach. This while Mark Richt went 0-13 on 3rd Down vs unranked final AP Poll Florida and lost to that lousy team.
2003 LSU won a national championship in the Mark Richt era here, Nick Saban in his 4th year as head coach.
2004 Auburn* won a national championship in the Mark Richt era here, Tommy Tuberville in his 5th year as head coach.
2005 Texas won a national championship in the Mark Richt era here, Mack Brown in his 8th year as head coach.
2006 Florida won a national championship in the Mark Richt era here, Urban Meyer in his 2nd year as head coach.
2007 LSU won a 2nd national championship in the Mark Richt era here, Les Miles in his 3rd year as head coach. This while Mark Richt lost not only to lousy vols team in a blow-out by 3 TD, but also lost to 6-6 South Carolina who did not even go to a bowl game. There is no way Mark Richt deserved to play for the NC compared to LSU who beat 7 ranked teams. No sir.
2008 Florida won a 2nd national championship in the Mark Richt era here, Urban Meyer in his 4th year as head coach.
2009 Alabama won a national championship in the Mark Richt era here, Nick Saban in his 3rd year as head coach.
2010 Alabama won a 2nd national championship in the Mark Richt era here, Nick Saban in his 4th year as head coach.
2011 Auburn won a 2nd national championship in the Mark Richt era here, Gene Chizik in his 3rd year as head coach behind Cam Newton Heisman Trophy QB now NFL fame, who dumbass Mark Richt recruited as a damned Tight End and told Cam so. Cam Newton was no more arrested at Florida for stealing a lap top and throwing it out a dorm window into a dumpster than Nick Marshall was arrested stealing over $ 500 cash from the locker room because our Chief of Police here was interviewed and he said NO ONE CALLED THE POLICE on Nick Marshall et all, even though it was a felony.
2012 Alabama won a 3rd national championship in the Mark Richt era here, Nick Saban in his 5th year as head coach.
2013 Florida State won a national championship in the Mark Richt era here, Jimbo Fisher in his 4th year as head coach.
Alabama 7th year of their head coach, Oregon Mark Helfrich in his 2nd year as head coach, FSU 5th year of their head coach, or Ohio State Urban Meyer in his 3rd year as their head coach will win 2014 national championship.
Mark Richt era 2001-2014, fourteen seasons, average number of years it took this century for a coach to win national championship is 3 years.
48 divided by 13 years is 3.69 years it took all the teams of this century to win a nc with a new head coach. We’ve had ours 15 years next year. Time is up ? No improvement ? In fact, all the same mistakes all 15 years ? Losses all 14 seasons to-date against less-talented worse ranked teams, inexplicable losses all 14 years for Mark Richt ? Yes.
“He is a wonderful guy. He’s a good Christian guy. He wants to be a missionary, goes on mission trips. That’s a wonderful thing. But do you know the religion of Nick Saban? Gus Malzahn? Or Chip Kelly, playing for the national championship? I don’t think we care what their religion is. That’s their business. But we hire them to be football coaches. If we are going to hire a religious instructor, let’s go to the Candler School of Theology…and get some of their people to come coach our football team.” College and Pro Hall of Fame Fran Tarkenton. “I think Greg McGarity has got to look at this awfully hard. I think the signs are that we have a program that’s in big trouble.” Dawgbone Index does not give you URL Links to Fran Tarkenton’s WebPages anymore. Want to know why ? “We either didn’t choose right or we didn’t coach right, because we didn’t have success,” Fran tells us. Better to drink the Kool-Aid of the one-sided purposeful censorship of Fran Tarkenton by Dawgbone Index, like that is the only source of Bulldogs’ News. Hardly, in fact, I use it only to find bullshit from the bullshit crew to lambaste from pillar to post.
Because I sure as Hell am not happy with this damned program right now, on or off the field.
It’s coaching. We have plenty of talent. Talent everyone else recruited as well, only when they come here they are given mixed messages contradictory to winning and having a team morale that is ready to play every week and wants to play to their best that EVERY game. In fact, Mark Richt tells our players, all of them, exactly the opposite of that, that no matter what they do or ever will do, he LOVES them. How in the Hell does that teach them to obey, Pray Tell dumbass ?
I’m the only 1 ? Fran Tarkenton is the only 1 ? Have you read what Todd Gurley II said about how mediocre we are and how sick and tired he is of it ? It’s bullshit what’s going on, and I am calling you out Mark Richt. Get with the program or hit the highway, and I hold no hope with your Stubborn disposition that there is any way in Hell that you can all of sudden get with it. You’re not capable of it. Your goals are those of a preacher man. I love preachers, but I have yet to see a preacher coach a major college football program. Ever.
There’s something here at Georgia that is MORE IMPORTANT THAN WINNING, you bragged 2 weeks’ ago Mark Richt. Ah, shucks Mark, what is it ? I give up ?
Does this look like this is a problem here ? Well, does it ? Here is the summary on this page alone, players who with a redshirt year would be playing in this 3rd tier bowl game December 30 with only 2 SEC teams playing before us this entire bowl season :
5 Failed to Qualify
12 Suspended, some up to 3 times.
2 Bad Attitude
1 Questionable Medical Disqualification for kid with nothing but drug problems & brother
23 Quit or Transferred
15 Arrested, again, some multiple times
2 Injured after offer, ended-up Medical Disqualification
4 Medical Disqualification
Note some made multiple categories here, lighting up all the bells and whistles – such as Arrested/Suspended/Kicked-Off or Suspended/Transferred – therefore, since these are not mutually exclusive categories, there were not 80 who had one or more of these categories checked-off; but by God Above there are 80 in these categories – sometimes checking-off multiple categories. URL Links are provided to each. Macon.com ran a similar study a few years’ ago for Georgia, and it was not a pretty sight either.
Think we have no problem here ? That would be impossible to pass-off on anyone, wouldn’t it ? I knew it was this bad before I started, living each of these Mark Richt incidents, and just be glad that I did not give the details of all these losses here and the reason I did not is because I have already covered that detail on this blog for you with URL Link too, but I will leave you with that URL Link again here now to close because who we’ve lost to is clearly very very bad :
Lost to 6 teams who were not ranked for the year they beat us in either the AP or Coaches’ Final Polls, even with their win over us – unranked either poll :
2009 LOST vols a 6-Loss team 19-45, unranked either poll for season
2009 LOST Ky 6-Loss team home 27-34, unranked either poll season
2010 LOST Colorado 5-7 by 27-29 unranked either poll season fired coach
2010 LOST Florida 5-Loss team 31-34, unranked either poll season coach quit
2014 LOST 6-6 South Carolina, unranked either poll for the season
2014 LOST 6-5 Florida, unranked either poll for season, fired coach
In addition to losing to these 6 who were not ranked in either Final AP or Coaches’ Polls :
LOST Okie State 2009 who was NOT RANKED Final AP Poll even with win
LOST Central Florida 2010 who was NOT RANKED time of game AP Poll
LOST Vandie 2013 who was NOT RANKED either poll time of game coach quit
LOST Nebraska 2013 not ranked either poll time of game not ranked Final AP fired coach
In Total after 2007 – the 2nd half of the Mark Richt era – he has LOST to 10 teams who :
(1) either did not make the final polls for the season or
(2) were unranked at time of game when they beat him or
(3) even with win over Mark Richt did not make the Final AP Poll Top 25
LOST 10 games he SHOULD’VE NEVER LOST in 7-year period to teams far less talented who were LOUSY TEAMS, inexplicable losses.
God Almighty – that’s all I’ve got to say.
God Almighty damn !
Obsequious Georgia Bulldog Fans (really just Mark Richt Apologists) just make Mark Richt’s job a cushy damn job, don’t they ? Why do we settle for this shit ? Why do we allow these Obsequious Fans to NOT ALLOW us to discuss religion when discussing Mark Richt ? What the friq’ is that all about, when that is exactly what is wrong with the coach Mark Richt – not the man – the damn coach. All of his problems on and OFF the field, are ALL related to his religious bullshit. Nothing else. Just his religious hang-ups. They contradict and counter-mind what his goals here are. On lax discipline, religious zealots always are wimpy about teaching even their own kids to obey the rules; they believe that they are forgiven – therefore, they do not concern themselves when their children do not obey – shit, they tell their own kids when their own kids do exactly that which they do not want them to do that’s it’s ok – they LOVE them anyway. What total abject hogwash approach to teaching them to obey the rules is that ? It sends really not even a mixed message, but sends a conflicting message directly diametrically opposed message to the message they really wanted to send on obeying the damn rules.
Mark Richt is FORGIVEN for all this crap going on on and off the field for us the latest 7 years here ?
The friqin’ Hell he is.
He has 2 masters. Really, everyone knows Mark Richt only has 1 master : Jesus Christ. Nothing else. Never has been anything else. We cannot discuss this ? Excuse the Hell out of me, we cannot discuss this. We sure as Hell can discuss this. Mark Richt does not care about winning – that much is patently obvious not only from his own direct quotes such as there is something more important than winning here that we adhere to here at Georgia. The freaking HELL there is ! When he should be preparing the team to GATA against our # 1 Rival Florida, he spends his time praying to Jesus Christ, and really doesn’t give a shit if we win or lose which is why he’s 5-9 against Florida. This is the whole entire problem with our football team right now that there is NO SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE, and that Mark Richt can hold dear as more important than winning, something HIGHER he claims as our $ 3.5 million annually head coach. We do not pay him $ 4 million of my hard earned monies to have some other more important than winning here, objective. If he wants to be a damned preacher, have the friqin’ damn Church pay him $ 4 million a year, and we will go find another “COACH” who can do better than the results provided to you with URL Link by me here on this blog post. I am fed-up with the holier than thou friqin’ Christians telling us all what we CAN and CANNOT discuss about Mark Richt. He’s flawed and its sole cause is his Religion. He’s out of balance. His calling is NOT PREACHER. His calling is COACH of Georgia Bulldogs’ Football Team – there is NOTHING that should interfere with that ! NOTHING. He wants to go to Church on Sunday ? Fine, I do too. But, I damn sure don’t sit there feeling FORGIVEN that in my calling, I always admit AFTER another INEXPLICABLE LOSS that well, I was thinking about something else on the sidelines and screwed-up, AGAIN. He doesn’t think about football; he thinks about Jesus Christ. Get the picture, get it right in your mind, that to discuss Mark Richt without discussing his religion is something the religious zealots who want to control what you TALK ABOUT and what you THINK ABOUT our football team, will not allow you to talk about. When anyone anywhere anytime tells you what you CANNOT discuss, ask yourself if you intend to SUPPORT such a site ? I’m not stupid, not with a 3.88 GPA at UGA. This is the whole underlying uncontested topic that must be discussed. Am I getting through to ANY of you, or you intend to be told what you can and cannot discuss by someone who obviously does not want THIS DISCUSSION RIGHT HERE ?
Are you friqin’ tired yet of being told what you can and cannot say about our football program ?
Especially when that very topic is EXACTLY the ONLY PROBLEM we have on and off the field ?
Excuse me ? I cannot talk about this ?
Forget you then, for I will be damned if I will not discuss this exact specific topic any damn way I want.
Mark Richt is not our college football coach at The University of Georgia – this is NOT his calling here. He has a different calling. He only uses his position and monies from this subservient lesser importance not primary job in life for him, to further his more important to him goals – all of which are completely in contradiction to winning football games and teaching his recruits to obey the rules on and off the field.
This is why EVERYTHING on this page has happened to our football team.
Therefore the religious zealots tell you you cannot discuss religion on topics online about UGA football and Mark Richt. You have to mind your words about the dumbass decisions Mark Richt has made, because those decisions were not made with winning in football here as their objective.
You better think about this, talk about this, get this out in the open, if you intend to do more in talking about Georgia Bulldogs’ Football under Mark Richt than to be told that which you cannot discuss for obvious reasons.
What in the hell has happened to us the last 7 years ?
Strength of Schedule in Football shows, in fact, that we have played the # 42 Strength of Schedule 2014 to-date, according to the Official NCAA SoS and now we play Georgie tek # 46 SoS in 3 days’ time.
Looking at the schedule pre-season I figured South Carolina and Florida would be better than 6-win teams 2014. I figured Georgie tek’s SoS was worse than our own and it is.
Every year, there are other SoS listings updated through the latest games like the Official NCAA Toughest Schedules’ Rankings. NCAA always has their own Official NCAA SoS for you as well.
Other observations from the Official NCAA SoS is that Florida State has played the # 51 SoS 2014. Duh. For the whole entire season, only 53-47 is the combined won/lost record of all 2014 opponents for FSU. That includes Florida’s 6-win season and does not include the ACC CHUMPionship Game yet, but it will for the Play-Off Selection Committee prior to their decisions. They told us they will weigh this.
Florida’s SoS is # 48 and only a 6-win season. Horrible showing, right ?
Southern California’s SoS is only # 53 and they have another 4-Loss Season.
Southern California has the Most NFL Draft Picks in the Mark Richt Era 2001-2014 and Mark Richt is 2nd best nationally. He also is 2nd best nationally in average recruiting rankings 2001-2014 with his average # 9 while Georgie tek averages # 52.
It shows that Hutson Mason has 1825 Passing Yards on the season for 11 games, losing like last year to unranked Nebraska, losing this year to unranked 6-win South Carolina and losing to unranked 6-win Florida who fired their coach the week after he beat Mark Richt to drop Mark Richt’s record against our # 1 Rival to 5-9. Hard to feel good about yourself with a losing record that poor against your # 1 Rival.
Is there any question that Florida is a bigger Rival for us than Georgie tek is for us ?
Now, Georgie tek does consider us their # 1 Rival by a long wide margin with no other Rival at all. We’re the only team mentioned in their Fight Song, which is the Most Famous Fight song, nationally – maybe Internationally.
It promotes Poor Sportsmanship among the fan base at Georgie tek.
You have seen this all week on every blog.
Every blog where, like here, everyone’s posts are posted. We had one run on to this blog and brag they’d beat us 55-7.
He based this upon Florida’s rushing total against us 3 weeks’ ago.
He does not take into account they did well early only to have Hutson Mason again not stretch the field and failed to answer anything, sending the defense right back out there to bail his ass out to the tune of 31 unanswered points.
Unanswered points means that our offense failed to answer.
That’s what that means.
Last season, Hutson Mason did not lead the come-back against Georgie tek. In fact, he had another performance which could’ve lost us another game with him as our Starting Quarterback losing to yet another unranked team. It was Todd Gurley II who scored all the consecutive points against Georgie tek. They got off to a big lead and then Todd Gurley II put us on his back.
The score was nothing to 20 for Georgia tek with 35 seconds remaining in the 1st Half last year because Hutson Mason forgot to show-up. He does that. He is not like little Aaron Murray who called his own number 51 percent of the total plays. He is not like little Aaron Murray who had 10 percent of his plays result in interceptions, fumbles and sacks – all at the very worst moment, either. Hutson Mason suffers from trying to minimize those MISTAKES by not being like that, and a direct result, has only 1825 Passing Yards on the season.
Ray Goff and Jim Donnan all averaged more Passing than Hutson Mason has.
For the team, including the damn few plays either Brice Ramsey or Faton Bauta have been allowed to even play in the games Hutson Mason has started and played every minute of – not preparing a Quarterback for 2015 – since 2014 is shot to hell in a hand basket with the losses to 6-win Florida and 6-win South Carolina 2014 already. For the team now 2014, Mark Richt’s chosen quarterbacks & including Todd Gurley II’s longest pass play of the 2014 season for us, have thrown for a grand total of 2,205 yards only. This on top of his performance against Nebraska 2013 season, he also lost to an unranked team.
2,205 yards passing 2014 for UGA. Who would’ve thunk it ?
We could’ve taken advantage of our talent and especially at running back by throwing the football downfield, and stretching the field in so doing 2014. Never in the history of man, has there ever been a more wasted season on that front for us this season.
1825 yards passing is all Hutson Mason has to show for 2014.
Other than his
Todd Gurley II, you recall led the comeback against Georgie tek, falling behind 20 to nothing, scoring 4 Touchdowns against Georgie tek, including having the ball on every single play of BOTH OVERTIMES.
For the season, Hutson Mason has 38 rushes for 23 yards.
He just isn’t a college quarterback.
Mark Bradley says he is.
In fact, yesterday, Mark Bradley AJ-C said that Hutson Mason is A GREAT QUARTERBACK.
In the last 20 years, including Ray Goff and Jim Donnan years in addition to the Mark Richt era, this is the most God-Freaking-Awful Starting Quarterback other than Joe Tereshinski III in 2006 and 2009 with Joe Cox.
Both were, ALSO, 5th year Senior Starters for Mark Richt who like Hutson Mason NEVER GOT ANY snaps to prepare him, either.
Might as well have played Brice Ramsey all season on that point because Hutson Mason did not show me anything last year either, not against Georgie tek, not against Kentucky and not against Nebraska – just like Florida and South Carolina this year.
In fact, it has been a wasted year 2014 because Hutson Mason did not stretch the field all season to take advantage of all these running backs.
Never so tentative a starting quarterback is the damn history of the game.
I do give him credit for not making the myriad of mistakes that Aaron Murray did.
Unfortunately, he WASTED OUR YEAR, just as Joe Cox in 2009 and just as Joe Tereshinski III in 2006.
At least Joe Tereshinski III got YANKED in 2006, sat down, sent to the pines, lost his starting job. 2009, once Joe Cox even with the flu on top of his chronic throwing shoulder, was the only QB to play in the Okie State game who did not make the AP Poll Top 25 that season even with their win over Mark Richt (Joe Cox), 2009 was shot to hell.
Just like 2006.
2010, Mark Richt STARTED a redshirt freshman Quarterback.
2014, he did not, and has not and will not.
Brice Ramsey kind of shot himself in the foot last Saturday aiming the ball on a short crossing route, getting his 1st interception. It could not have been worse for Brice Ramsey, just when he was looking so comfortable back there and threw the deep passes with such aplomb.
It does highlight the difference between Hutson Mason and Aaron Murray and Brice Ramsey, now too.
All off-season, the seed has been planted now in the back of everyone’s mind fresh off seeing him from our seats on an easy throw, take something off the throw and just give the ball away. His interception and all the fumbles by folks Mark Richt had to expect fumbles from – I certainly did – and we ended-up against a 1-AA team with no plus average on the turnovers’ ratio against Charleston Southern University.
Too bad, really. Should have been + 3.
If we were, we’d be # 1 nationally in turnover ratio instead of # 2.
So, after it was 7 to nothing last year against Georgie tek, Hutson Mason
1st went 3 and out, and we punted, which they converted to 10 to nothing FG.
Then, on our next possession with the ball, Hutson Mason threw an Interception. Georgie tek promptly took it in for 17 to nothing. Then, to add fuel to the fire, Hutson Mason then after it was 17 to nothing, fails again to get the 1st down and we punted AGAIN to Georgie tek, who promptly again put up ANOTHER FIELD GOAL to extend their lead to 20 nothing.
I was pissed.
You were satisfied, you run in here and TRY to share with me.
Yeah, right you were.
Damn friqin’ right you were.
Then, Hutson Mason FAILED AGAIN to get the 1st Down and AGAIN we punted.
THIS is what Hutson Mason did against Georgie tek last year.
It should have been 35 to nothing with 38 seconds remaining in the 1st half.
THAT is what happened last year.
Then, Todd Gurley II willed his team to Victory, scoring 4 TD.
I remember thinking when it was 20 to nothing at their lousy as hell stadium, named for college drop-out Bobby Dodd (who dropped-out in college at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville), that we were fortunate our Defense held Georgie tek to only 20 of their should have been 35 to nothing lead.
Todd Gurley II damn sure certainly took advantage of it.
So, the writing was on the wall last year about this Hutson Mason Experiment of Mark Richt – just like his Joe Cox Experiment and his Joe Tereshinski II Experiments as 5th year senior starting Quarterbacks for Mark Richt with ZERO experience, un-played, unproven, and frankly proven to be exactly the opposite of that which Mark Richt tried to quell our concerns with of his glowing praise.
Mark Bradley wrote that bullshit piece so that Mark Richt would talk with him, after his earlier salvos of “it’s Mark Richt’s fault; it’s his team.”
I have no such requirement as I like you read the quotes of Mark Richt. I read every one. And, I watch the video clips and listen to him on the radio.
So, I know Mark Richt and Mike Bobo are BOTH big-time disappointed in Hutson Mason.
Still, he is the only one played. The only one all season. And, NO ONE PREPARED for 2015.
That, since 2014 has been OVER for a month now against Florida.
Bullshit 6-win Florida, who FIRED their coach the week AFTER beating Mark Richt to extend their # 1 Rival Advantage against him to 5-9 Mark Richt vs Florida.
Included all these wins by INFERIOR Florida teams.
Georgie tek is an INFERIOR TEAM.
How inferior ?
# 9 recruits vs # 52 recruits.
2007 we had a similar schedule strength as we have 2014, but our Quarterback managed to throw 10 interceptions and had 3 fumbles, unlike Hutson Mason, and also was sacked 15 times. This is what Hutson Mason does NOT do. Among other plays Hutson Mason does NOT do, such as throwing the ball downfield.
He prefers the 4-yard dinky dunk down pass.
It is ALL he looks for, staring the receiver down, and never going through his progressions despite the criticism ALL YEAR by Mark Richt and by Mike Bobo.
But, rue me for saying the same.
And, you. You too say the same.
2007, we lost to a 6-6 South Carolina who did not even go to a damn bowl game.
2007, we lost to a poor vols’ team, again neither with anywhere near the talent we have, and the vols had a BLOW-OUT win over us 14-35.
I cannot explain the 10 losses by Mark Richt to 10 teams who even with their win over Mark Richt that season, failed to make EITHER the AP or Coaches’ Polls.
That blow-outs like 3 weeks’ ago against Florida and in 2007 to the vols would also be common occurrences nowadays, is just hard to understand given the level of talent we have in the Mark Richt Era, which has not dropped-off at all.
We just take teams lightly, fumble, throw interceptions, get sacked, get blown-out against bitter damn rivals, and just fail to even show-up. We go 3 and out and wait for the suspect defenses we have, to bail our asses out. And, wait for our not so special, special teams to bail us out. Sad, how our offense is actually MARKED WITH THIS.
I do not understand it.
I certainly EXPECT it.
But, I don’t grasp how in the Hell we continue to go out there in big games and fail to convert on 3rd Downs and instead brag on the friqin’ Starting Quarterback.
In addition and in proving the 2nd best # 9 Average Recruiting Class of Mark Richt 2001-2014, Mark Richt ALSO has the 2nd best 81 NFL Draft Picks. This verifies the Average Recruiting Rankings. Southern California, who has the highest Average Recruiting Ranking 2001-2014, is # 1 in NFL Draft Picks too. 83 NFL Draft Picks, Southern California 2001-2014.
Georgie tek average recruiting ranking # 52 for 2001-2014 has only 29 NFL Draft Picks 2001-2014.
There is no excuse for Georgie tek to be ahead of us 20 to nothing, and frankly it should have been 35 to nothing. We were fortunate, no thanks to Hutson damn Mason.
With all this talent.
No different from 2007 and no different from 2002 either.
2002 we got a BCS Bowl Win over a 5-Loss FSU # 24.
2007 we got a BCS Bowl Win over # 19 Hawai’i.
That’s IT for BCS Bowl Wins Mark Richt Era.
All this talent, and frankly NOTHING.
Not a damn freaking thing.
Remember 2002, since we covered 2007 now ?
2002, we LOST to a Florida team who did not even make the Coaches’ Poll Top 25 even after Ron Zook beat Mark Richt. Mark Richt’s Offense that year failed to convert a single 3rd Down Conversion. 0-13.
This is WHO we are. This is WHAT we do.
2014, it’s 6-win Florida and 6-win South Carolina.
It’s frankly so bad that Todd Gurley II said he is sick and tired of losing and being mediocre.
In this week’s latest College Football Poll prior to the last week’s games of this college football regular season, we remain # 9 CFP, while we welcome # 16 Georgie tek, who is ranked WORSE than Auburn at # 15.
Who we blew out.
Forgot to take out Todd Gurley II, but BLEW them OUT.
There are so many teams ahead of prior to the last game of the regular season, that even a blow-out over # 1 Alabama were we to back-in to that game by Arkansas beating Missouri who has played the # 56 Strength of Schedule to Arkansas # 1 SoS 2014, that we cannot possibly be judged in the Top 4 teams in America with these continued on-going BAD LOSSES to not 1 but 2 teams who are 6-win Florida and 6-win South Carolina :
So, we had an easy schedule and LOST to 2 crappy-ass teams.
Excuse me for calling it as it is ladies and gentlemen.
I am NOT happy.
Do NOT feel this is a great season.
It is what I said it would be.
Isn’t it ?
Don’t want to read my posts ? Then what the friq are you doing in here ?
Afraid I am RIGHT ?
Sure I am.
2015, with no Quarterback prepared and without Todd Gurley II whom we WASTED as we WASTED KNOWSHON MORENO, will be MORE of the same.
Will it not ?
One Mark Richt Apologist in the last several weeks remarked to me that I should wait until 2016.
Cannot even get 2014 over, and forget wait until 2015.
2016 he says to me.
Such a damn cushy job Mark Richt has.
Cushy as Hell job.
Satisfied with all this LOSING and being mediocre.
We have not played ANY OF THE TOP 14 TEAMS IN THE LATEST CFP.
If Missouri loses as we all hope, and they might lose to a 6-win team, and if we beat Georgie tek and Alabama beats Auburn, we will not have played even a single team in the College Football Play-Off Poll Top 20.
Then, we hope to play Alabama.
We will NOT have beaten a single team in the Top 20 of College Football Play-Off Final Poll.
If we do beat Alabama, we’d have that one win. Clemson is not likely to remain ranked, Georgie tek is not likely to remain ranked, and Auburn is not likely to remain ranked. As it is, they will be at the tail-end of the Top 25, if at all.
I am NOT raining on our damn parade.
That happened at South Carolina and Florida.
Didn’t it ?
Wake-up and smell the damn roses.
I am NOT disappointed we’re # 9.
I am satisfied with that.
I am not satisfied with playing the # 42 SoS and losing to two 6-win teams.
I do not believe we have a chance in Hell of beating Alabama were Missouri to lose to a 6-win team – something we do around here REGULARLY nowadays, don’t we ?
Number # 9 ?
Who is the Play-Off Selection Committee going to pit us against in our Bowl Game ?
The BCS sure blew all that.
Told us we were # 3 team in 2002 and pitted us against 5-Loss # 24 FSU.
Told us we were the # 2 team in 2007, and pitted us against # 19 Hawai’i.
Bullshit BCS Bowl Game Wins.
Give us a team up there where we are.
I’d love to play Oregon as I am certain we’d beat them.
Let us play them.
Let us play # 2 Florida State !
We’d beat the shit out of Florida State.
Let us play TCU or Ohio State or Baylor.
But, we’d NEVER beat Alabama this year. Their passing game is too good and our passing game is piss poor.
Hutson Mason only has 5 fumbles this year, 15 sacks and 3 interceptions. Compared to what Matthew Stafford and Aaron Murray did, this IS GREAT !
Otherwise, no one will even invite Hutson Mason for an NFL look-see even.
He has proven beyond a shadow of the doubt, as Joe Tereshinski III and Joe Cox before him, that he isn’t getting any consideration. His career is over after the next games.
Never to be seen or heard from ever again, as neither Joe Tereshinski III or Joe Cox have been, either.
All 3 with head-scratching losses here, as well – as 3 so-far for Hutson Mason. 3 unranked teams.
You think Aaron Murray was the master at that ?
It’s been ongoing around here.
Hasn’t it ?
And, it has SHOT EVERY GREAT SEASON !
This year is NOT great.
Beat Alabama and it would be.
Don’t and it will not be.
And, we’d still say as in 2002 and 2007 that the reason we did not do what we could’ve those years, and this if we beat Alabama, is that we LOST to two 6-win teams.
Good Lord !
Everyone else BEAT THEM, but Mark Richt did NOT !
I knew this coming in.
It’s what we do.
YOU argued with ME and said it’s not, and that we ARE great.
Adjust your glasses, and say it’s almost as good as a XEROX.
When you’re not even in the top 25 won/lost records after 2007, and playing Alabama 2014 would pretty much assure Mark Richt of that sitting at # 22 as it is, you’re NOT GREAT.
I do not care what the friq you say.
There aren’t any excuses – so, quit wiggling in your panties trying to think of one or more, per usual.
We had the talent and we WASTED IT.
We had an off-season of NOTHING but BAD PRESS.
We followed that up with the players saying we took Florida lightly, to which Mark Richt replied to the players in the Press with : Shut-up !
Pretty much what you’ve said you told me, isn’t it ?
You will see we’re # 10 Sanford Stadium; but we have watched team after team after team in our own conference add to their stadiums while we stand firm while we too could fill a lot more seats, as they.
Jeff Sagarin has his ratings up, you might enjoy looking at the top 2 teams, including us and Alabama.
So, our schedule is weak, we have 9-2 and we have ruined the season with 2 bad losses.
Next up, Georgie tek – another team out-classed by our recruiting as verified by our NFL Draft Picks – who says all week every post I’ve read that they will beat us handily, when at their own house # 43 attendance to our Top 10 Attendance.
Georgie tek is on NCAA PROBATION in FOOTBALL all 2014, again.
JAX is not a place anyone would got to for a vacation, and certainly not in November. The stadium leaves much to be desired, and is no comparison with Sanford Stadium. Our beautiful campus is always a source of great pride and rightfully so, but JAX, instead ? Hell no. We stayed at the Desota Beach Hotel over on Tybee Island and eaten at the Flying Fish we enjoy because we can walk there from the Hotel. We like the room because with a view of the Atlantic Ocean from our balcony, the staff is friendly and courteous, and the drive down I-16 is still nice after finally being built. We stayed in JAX too, the Hell Hole. For our money, however, it’s still more a destination for vacation to go 95 miles South to Daytona Beach, where the restaurants are even better and the hotels have a far wider choice.
Florida is not a very good football team. We were told by the jort-wearing crocodiles’ fans that their offense would be far superior this season because they got Kurt Roper as their Offensive Coordinator when I felt they should have replaced their head coach. I asked them in reply : How is Kurt Roper going to make guys who have never done a thing, all of a sudden, a great offense ?

In a long run of not good football teams we’ve played 2014, Florida stands out. Last season, you recall they went the entire season of 2013-2014 not beating a single team who even went to a bowl game. They suck. One Florida fan replied not only that their Offense would be great 2014 having added Kurt Roper to their talentless Offense where high school offensive players go to never be heard from ever again in their lifetime, but that Florida did beat a team who at least made it to playing in a bowl game : lowly Toledo. Excuse me, I pointed out, Toledo did NOT play in a bowl game 2013-2014, as I studied before I made the statement that Florida did not beat a single team all 2013 season who even WENT to a bowl game – let alone won it.
We chase opposing Quarterbacks, but actually getting them on the ground, we’re not actually accomplished at that.
As bad as Florida’s Offense is again this season as I said it would be all along, we’re actually WORSE Passing the damn ball than they are. Imagine that !
There is nothing that really stands out as the key to this game, as there is no key to a game against such a vastly inferior football team.
All those recruits, and they still have – even with Kurt Roper – a hideous offense.
We have not beat anyone, and have played a long string of just nobodies – including most especially 4-4 South Carolina and now 3-3 Florida.
Why do you think everyone MAKES the point that The SEC East is DOWN ?
vols 3-4 certainly are worse than both Florida and South Carolina, if that possible even. I expect the vols to lose at South Carolina while we are stomping Florida, and the vols already lost to Florida and to us.
These teams are NOT the measure of UGA.
Are they ?
That’s like talking about Mark Richt’s consistent record against Georgie tek – like that any measure of our football program either – now, isn’t it ?
Lose to a team like this Florida squad, and you have serious bad press the likes of which will not be lived down.
Florida hates us. We’re their Rival. We never really caught on to that fact. They believe, and their fans believe, that it is their birthright to beat us. No. No, it is not.
Is it ?
We’ve gone down there to JAX the Hell Hole, many times, and just as this season – on paper – there was no contest who the better team is.
Florida cannot make 3rd Downs and they cannot stop anyone from converting them – although their defense is good until 3rd Down. Their special teams, mostly, suck.
And, to think, I thought we were bad at 3rd Down Conversions.
We are. Florida is way worse.
And, penalties I have spoken about all season again, for us – as bad as we are, Florida is way worse at that too.
I have said how poorly we have made 1st Downs all season and again, rightfully so. Florida is so bad at this, as to render any discussion on this point pre-game as moot.
I have made the point that our Kick-Off Return Defense has been poor because until last game, we did not kick the ball off far enough back into the End Zone; but again, Florida is so bad at Kick-Off Returns’ Defense that criticizing us on this point for the sake of gaining our attention to these points for the up-coming games against top teams nationally that criticizing our own Kick-Off Return Defense before this game, would seem to be beating a dead horse – if we ever get finished playing all these nobody opponents all season long and continuing this game once again.
But, is it ?
We’re still bad at all these areas.
Aren’t we ?
The fact our hapless opponents have not taken advantage of all these areas for us, except for Steve Spurrier with his hapless 4-4 record, is of no consolation.
The facts are, Mark Richt has lost 8 games to teams who even with their win over us, did not make either the AP Poll or the Coaches’ Poll for the season.
We’ve got real problems. Florida will not expose them.
Our Defense will shut down Florida’s Offense. Florida cannot win when they do not score.
We still have no Passing Offense, and Florida does have a Defense against both the Pass and the Run. This the very type of Defense I have warned of all season long : a Defense that packs the box and forces our QB to throw the ball into their stout Pass Defense.
I think we will throw interceptions. I think we will get to JAX to get acclimated to the humidity and temperature a scant few hours before kick-off. I think we will play in a dilapidated old worn-out run down rinky-dink stadium where they play the Gator Bowl every year with fans for the opponents who actually think Will Muschamp will be back if he can finally live-up to his Guarantee Multiple Times that he would BEAT GEORGIA !
I think our Passing Offense will be exposed as what it is, again. We’re a joke Passing the damn ball.
Here we are Tuesday and no TGII, just TGIII.
Hutson Mason has seen us lose and beat Florida here. I have seen much more. Florida knows that this game is like Georgie tek playing us every year. Nothing to lose and everything to gain.
Las Vegas has us a 2 Touchdown Favorite.
Imagine that !
Auburn looms, and thereafter the # 1 SEC West team for us in The SEC Championship Game. Getting there is NOT the goal. Nor, is simply getting there acceptable. I have little expectations that we can beat the top teams nationally, but I would love to play Oregon in a Bowl Game. I am certain we would beat Oregon.
Auburn is in the thick of their schedule now, not that losing to Mississippi State 2 weeks’ ago now, was not the thick of their schedule too. Auburn will be beat-up by the time they have to face us, and this finally a home game for us.
We’ve been on the road forever.
1st it seemed we played all the games this season at lovely Sanford Stadium.
Now, it’s been so long since we played on our beautiful campus, that I wonder what it looks like ?
At least, we got to play one “game” at home all this long October : Vanderbilt like they the same team without James Franklin in what was then last season his 3rd and final. Yeah for that !
A month and a half between home games for us : Vanderbilt to Auburn. Vandie Oct 4 and Auburn Nov 15 !
We can look ahead, if we like. It’s been this type of schedule all season, as it turns out.
Our win over last place in The SEC West Arkansas is the only win by any SEC East team over any SEC West Team.
We should be considering the fact that we have areas to seriously work on, for the games coming up because # 8 Coaches’ Poll and # 9 AP Poll, most certainly will be on the radar today in the 1st Play-Off Selection Committee Poll. But, do we deserve it ? Are we really that good that we demand attention in the Final 4 Play-Off Selection ?
Does anyone really believe we will beat the # 1 SEC West team in The SEC Championship Game ?
Show up ?
That good enough ?
Cushy job here.
Florida is just the next step. Another crappy assed football opponent for us, not worthy of stepping on the same damned field with us, but they will be there and they will believe they can beat us – for it would make their season and at least make Will Muschamp feel like he delivered on his promise – the 4th try.
I do not like JAX. I do not like the crocodiles’ program or its fans equally. I do not like us having one less home game every year because of this shitty stadium. I especially do not like all the cops between here and there targeting us. I do not like it when we do get there, and I like the alternative cities all better but too far away to my liking. It’s not being there. Being there, no treat as I see it. I’d like our men to have equal footing and we do not have that by any measure.
We should never have lost the game in 2002 to Ron Zook, but we went 0-13 on 3rd Downs including the pass floated by David Greene over the head of Terrence Edwards who went on to the hapless Falcons the following year, now retired. That pass was our last of the 13 Third Downs we faced. Had we even completed that one, we win – as he was wide-ass open with nothing but turf ahead of him. Florida would go on to be unranked even with the Ron Zook win over Mark Richt 2002 in the Final AP Poll for 2002, but they beat us. We got to play 5-loss FSU in our BCS Bowl Game.
I’d like to beat Florida.
I’d like to beat Auburn. I remain unconvinced of Auburn again this season as I was last.
I’d like to beat The SEC West # 1 team.
We have to play this cruddy team 1st.
Where have the obnoxious Florida fans gone ?
Hiding. That’s where they are. This is one of the most God Awful football teams in the nation and has been.
Will Muschamp’s Last Harrah, or last pitiful Offensive Showing for a program who prior to him, had an Offense.
I remain unimpressed with their former Rice player, and all his stops in-between – none of which produced any wins over top teams, either.
Is Georgia a top team for Kurt Roper ?
Unfortunately, we’re on the outside looking in – because we have not beat anyone, either.
The team who wins Saturday shall not alter this fact for either team.
And, it had better not be Florida.
This is our game, and we deserve to win. This is how we should act.
Well, he does everything else. So, why not let him pull-up and throw the ball 50-yards to a wide open man ? I understand Mark Richt was not in agreement with that. He’s still trying to prove to someone, anyone, that Hutson Mason was not the wrong choice. Just like Joe Cox was not the wrong choice, and just like Joe Tereshinski III was not the wrong choice.
Thursday night saw # 2 Oregon and their Heisman Hopeful QB not only lose but the QB have the ball taken away from him on the last play of the game at 2:30 a.m.
TGII is now leading candidate for the Heisman Trophy, which would be our 3rd Heisman, while Georgie tek never has won one; however, they did make the poll at # 22 for playing no one. Bullshit on that.
Half the top teams ahead of us lost after Oregon got it started. Oregon losing opened it up for Auburn and for Mississippi State and Ole Miss. Those 3 teams are beating top-ranked teams several times, while Oregon lost to an unranked team.
Mississippi State and Ole Miss are tied for # 3 in the nation behind # 2 Auburn. All 3 play each other.
Alabama only dropped to # 7. I have seen whiny fans for us whining this morning that we got robbed in the polls. I am sorry but you’d have to concentrate on the greatest player in the land, and not our team to think we belong in the same rankings as the Top 4 teams in The SEC West. There is more to a football team than 1 player. Many football teams have suffered similarly through the years. Get some perspective. On our team, Brice Ramsey again did Far Better than Hutson Mason, whose latest gaffes now include : watching Brice Ramsey mix-up the deep pass with the TGII runs for a long drive and TD, and then coming right back in despite looking like shit before that and being YANKED by Mark Richt and insisting on throwing deep passes himself – like anyone in the world now that it felt like football weather when we woke up to go to the game, came to watch his sorry ass play freaking football.
Hutson Mason threw the worst looking passes again ever witnessed at Sanford Stadium, except the one to Chris Conley. Remind me now please ? Chris Conley has played all 5 games and started the 1st three before coming in off the bench in the last 2 by Mark Richt despite being our best wide receiver not because he dropped any passes because he didn’t, but because Hutson Mason refused to go through his progressions and throw it to him deep, preferring 4-yard passes – which is what the other Chris Conley TD pass was this day against lowly Vandie. 19 times we’ve lost to lowly Vandie and we’ve been playing since the eighteen hundreds. 2 of those are Mark Richt. Besides last year’s debacle by Mark Richt against Vandie, Mark Richt also lost to 4-8 Vandie in 2006, another of those brain fart Mark Richt years where Mark Richt could not bring himself to not be loyal to Joe Tereshinski III and play Matthew Stafford, who was only the # 1 football player in the nation coming to us because his sister was here at UGA and left the same way # 1 overall draft pick by the NFL. Charley Trippi accomplished that and won the NFL Championship Game MVP one of 4 Bulldogs to accomplish the MVP of the championship game in the NFL. How in the hell do you otherwise lose to a 4-8 team here at UGA with all this damned talent, but to bench the wrong players – or, kick everyone off the team you were given such great credit for signing here ?
2 more attrition this previous week now including another kicked-off for shop-lifting charges, turning his back on him. Good riddance, right ? I always have to remember to say that for you since you do not have the guts to type your reply and say it. Not Mark Richt’s fault, but all the credit to Mark Richt, prior to turning his back on him for charges against him, for bringing him here. That’s how that works unless anyone is confused ?
76 all that remains of the 119 signed scholarship recruits who with redshirt could be out there helping Mr. Todd Gurley II.
Sure are a lot of walk-ons we could be giving Scholarships to. Guess we will over-sign again next year now ?
The count is now 14 arrested/suspended/kicked-off just in 2014 and we’re barely into October. We have party season coming-up to get that total up to a respectable Fulmer Cup Championship number, if 14 is not enough for you yet – or, you think you have thought up enough excuses and Good Riddances yet to make-up for all your bragging on Mark Richt bringing them all here, watching idly as they all 14 are arrested/suspended/kicked-off just this year in 2014 mind you so far, then confusing as you try to do punishment with discipline, when there is nothing confusing about either. Completely different as they both are.
Shaq Jones arrested for stealing a car cable and transformer from Wal-Mart valued at $43. That is 0.0000 of $ 3,500,000 Mark Richt was paid to bring him here at great fanfare by you each year. 2015 promises more of the same. And, more of the lack of telling his coveted recruiting class rankings, best in The SEC since he got here 2001 and most NFL Draft Picks to prove the rankings’ averages for Mark Richt here, that they must obey the rules.
Dear ole Dad would have his hide for that.
Instead, Mark Richt turns his back on him. That what you want your coach to do ? Turn his back on the charged, the accused ?
You see ?
That means that Mark Richt is not associated with Shaq Jones.
Only problem with that is that he played in the game the week before last, as we all saw.
14 have been arrested/suspended/kicked-off we know of in 2014 alone, whom you gave great credit to Mark Richt for signing here with us. This now leaves us with 76 of the 119 signed, available for Missouri. It’s good we’re only taking 70, as we only have half a dozen more signed scholarship recruits on the damn roster.
So, right after Florida’s QB who won the game vs the vols Saturday, Sunday morning gets arrested for violence to a lady, Mark Richt’s signed scholarship recruit # 14 in 2014 gets arrested for alleged shop-lifting. The value of the items Wal-Mart says and is prosecuting him for, is greater than the value of the crab legs for Jameis Winston, who still is being defended by Booby Bowden, er uh I mean Jimbo Fisher.
Chip Towers says it was 2 USB cables @ $30 each and 2 other items at $ 13 each for a total of $86, which was more than Athens Banner-Herald thinks he is accused of stealing. Twice as much.
We’re jerking Brendan Langley around again, I see.
What else is new, if you’re not the chosen 1 ?
2006 Vandie could only beat 1-11 Temple, 0-12 Duke, and something called Tennessee State. But, they certainly beat Mark Richt. Fans try to rewrite the 2006 season as great nowadays. 9-4. That’s his average year by the way.
So, let’s try to brag on him and compare him to yesteryear when teams only played 11 games. This season is a 15-game season for the top teams. That, uh, would not include us since we’re more interested in proving Hutson Damn Mason is so bloody great. No sir. No, he’s not.
Chris Conley has played all year. And, Hutson Mason feared his job, so he finally threw it to him, open all season as he is running just awesome routes to be ignored so that his passing percentage could be the only respectable showing he has as a Quarterback, which would not include starting on any other team we’ve played all season. And, that includes Vandie, who also has a better QB than Hutson Mason. Not that we don’t – like in 2006 – we just bench him after the strongest drive of the season. Very disappointing.
So, he has played all season, and Hutson Mason throws him a 45-yard TD pass right after the strong drive by Brice Ramsey. Ramsey blocked downfield, ran out his fakes, and threw the ball better than Hutson Mason ever will.
Hutson Mason did not throw the football to Michael Bennett at all, not the entire game, and he started at Wide Receiver against Vandie.
13 passes this entire season Hutson Mason has thrown to Chris Conley. That includes the 2 TD passes against Vandie once his freaking job was on the line. Not until.
Hutson Damn Mason is dragging this whole team down with him. It’s inexcusable. So, no, it’s not beating up on UGA to have us # 5 SEC team in the polls for beating Vandie this season. As for the rest of the team, our defense was porous, our special teams again sucked, and oh yeah besides Hero TGII, Hutson Mason made our Offense into a Hutson Mason show, checking-out of the call at the line to his own damn number 15 of the 19 plays. Give me a freaking break Hutson Mason. Just tell Mark Richt you WANT TO SEE BRICE RAMSEY.
You know you do.
So, we remain # 13 in the AP Poll, watching half the teams ahead of us, lose.
Arizona was not even a ranked team last week, and they jumped us.
Pac-12 is not The SEC, but then again The SEC West is not The SEC East either, are they ?
Fauot Field again next. Columbia Missouri. That whole state is a waste. I told you I did not think we could even beat the Mississippi Schools in The SEC West. I said that last week. Now, they moved-up in the Polls. We instead tuck our tails again between our legs and act like there is no quarterback controversy. That’s all we’re trying to prove here at UGA this season, and nothing else.
Once in a lifetime player, and Mark Richt wants to prove he’s right about Hutson Mason. A trophy for everyone, and not admit what he had to know prior to the season, as I certainly also said. Didn’t I ?
Missouri is # 23 and # 24 in the polls, so they lose to us and they drop-out of both :
What kind of dumb shit stuff can we pull in Columbia ?
Let’s see now. We’ve played 11 consecutive away games at the opponent’s home field, and won 1 when the opponent makes either the Coaches’ or the AP Poll these most recent seasons.
So, there’s that.
Missouri has no offense and a reasonable defense, and they are not penalized as we are either, but then no one ever is compared to the undisciplined Mark Richt teams – like this one. Discipline, again, is teaching to obey the rules, and punishment is not discipline but the end result of failing to teach to obey the rules. Then, turn your back because they’re charged. The rest of this great nation is innocent until proven guilty. Here, play everyone, trophy for everyone, bench the better and play the worse.
This is not football.
On kick-offs Missouri either returns it all the way down the field, or allows the return against them.
This is not a top 25 team, Missouri. A reasonable defense mid-pack does not a football team, make. Missouri beat South Carolina last week, but who hasn’t ? Other than that, they haven’t played anyone. South Carolina is a team we should NEVER have been beat by. Not in God’s Green Earth. South Carolina should have lost to us, were it not for Hutson Mason calling his own number at the 4-yard line, handed the ball by our Defense 1st and Goal and then looking like a deer in the headlights. South Carolina has lost 3 games already and now faces-off against Auburn after Furman this weekend. South Carolina lost to Missouri, lost to Kentucky for crying out loud, and lost to Texas A & M, who just got beat to by # 3 AP Poll now Mississippi State. Auburn obviously beats them.
# 90 in the nation on 3rd Down Conversions and that’s with Mr. Todd Gurley II
# 82 in the nation on 1st Downs for us and that’s with Mr. Todd Gurley II
# 98 in the nation in passing yards per completion which includes TGII’s 50-yard bomb
It’s really sad folks. Shoot a promising season in the foot losing to South Carolina 1st and Goal from the 4, with a once in a lifetime player, and you twits brag on Mark Richt doing this to this season, again. It’s what we do around here. Pay him $ 3,500,000 annually and make his job the cushiest job on the planet.
You can take that and shove it.
Georgie tek is ranked better than Missouri. That should tell you all you need to know.
We should teach Brice Ramsey to get his feet underneath him, and follow through. We all know he’s a far better athlete than Hutson Mason, but what we want to see is that he takes what the coaches tell him to do and does it. We’ve seen ample evidence of just that all season now. And, all off-season. What we have not seen however, is our coaches teaching him the footwork. If he plants his foot and tees off, folks, this will do it for Hutson Mason. Not and we can continue to trot out coach’s favorite.
Hutson Mason, despite playing once again the whole game, threw 17 passes for 121 yards. Yuk. And, that’s against Vandie, and that includes him being worried and calling his own number 15 of 19 consecutive plays including the 45-yard longest of the season pass to Chris Conley who has played all season folks, too.
Been open all season as well.
We just don’t try to throw the ball downfield because, well, we might get intercepted.
We’re getting intercepted anyway.
On the 4-yard passes and more should have been. Again what I saw was several more that should have been intercepted. 4-yard passes that should have been intercepted.
There is no consolation they weren’t.
They were horrible passes right into the horrid Vandie secondary’s guts, and they could not catch them wide-open pick 6 green, nothing but green and Hutson Mason in front of them.
Faton Bauta was brought in for his one play, where Mike Bobo calls for him to run, despite he too having a better arm than Hutson Mason who plays all of every game.
No mystery defending Faton Bauta with such continuing on-going play calls only for him.
Stephen Rivers Vandie’s back-up QB for reasons I cannot see, was a lot better than Hutson Mason. Maybe it was all the rain Friday that meant we had no place for him to practice ? The vols lost again and now Butch Jones is saying the whole season rests on the next game. I understand the game was on SEC Network. They still do not show live sports’ events like I thought we were getting for all this money for ESPN.
So, another player is kicked-off the team. Again, turn our backs on them :
We remain a long way from being in the play-offs and still do not have a Quarterback. Right ? All this despite the once in a lifetime player. All he did, is prove that he, too, is a better QB than Hutson Mason.
Sheldon Dawson cannot tell the coaches what play to run or which players to play. Well, he can; but he is kicked-off the team for it. Mr. Todd Gurley II can. I presume that’s ok with the coaches. We all apparently, can tell the coaches they are full of shit that Hutson Mason is our damned quarterback, however. Mark Richt has announced on that front, that “anything could happen” as far as all of us wanting Hutson Mason thrown under the damn bus.
Is this our freaking consolation booby prize that Mark Richt signed 119 scholarship recruits for which he was given great credit, by the way, who with redshirt would’ve been playing this season, and that now only 77 remain, while none went early in the 2014 NFL draft. We apparently do not even have a quarterback, since this dimwitted coaching staff of ours thinks Hutson Mason is our best QB like they did when they told us Joe Tereshinski III was better than Matthew Stafford and like they did with Joe Cox when we had that year Aaron Murray and Zach Mettenberger both of whom could’ve been picked as better quarterbacks than Joe Cox but were neither picked better – and our booby prize for more BAD PRESS is that Sheldon Dawson can go play for Auburn ?
Sheldon Dawson and Josh Harvey-Clemons were 2 of the most heralded of that recruiting class you two both bragged about Mark Richt signing. Sheldon Dawson is a Junior this season. Cornerback. Our secondary ring any bells to you ? Or, you think all we need is a Quarterback ?
Sheldon Dawson is a 4-Star Cornerback ranked the # 11 best Cornerback in America, according to Scout.com and one of their Top 150 best overall players in America.
These guys Mark Richt keeps kicking off the team, he was given such great credit for signing here as recruits by you both and still is, tell Mark Richt he is TURNING HIS BACK ON THEM, not helping them.
vols, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, North Carolina and Arkansas among others all offered Sheldon Dawson a full scholarship, but no, Auburn did NOT.
In the meanwhile the # 6 SEC team in the polls this week, Georgia dropped behind worse than Mississippi State in the AP Poll this week, after the disaster passing game in the vols’ game, another in a long run of disasters in passing by Hutson Mason – the chosen one this season by Mark Richt which NO ONE AGREES WITH MARK RICHT ON, by the way.
So, while you BRAG on Mark Richt’s recruiting of Sheldon Dawson
You are quick to kick him to the curb when he is kicked-off the team too, like you do to all the arrested/suspended/kicked-off players of which now there are 13 just in 2014 alone.
Addition by Subtraction ?
Best of luck to him at Auburn ?
Seriously, if that is all you have to say, why not keep your traps shut ? This makes us look bad to the selection committee, is an on-going blot on Mr. Jere Morehead whoever named a guy Jere. And Greg McGarity has had NOTHING but bad press on and off the field since he brought his LOSING WAYS and ARRESTS/SUSPENDED/KICKED-OFF here, as he too is not in the Top 25 won/lost in the entire Greg McGarity Era here at my alma mater and his.
Your excuses for this mess of Mark Richt being # 28 in won/lost record after 2007, make me PUKE given yet more BAD PRESS for another arrested/suspended/kicked-off 2014. The Bulldog Nation is NOT HAPPY right now with the state of our program on and off the field. Pukes bragging another can go to Auburn provides no consolation to me, or to you dumbasses saying it does.
TheDawgBone.com (Index) of links to articles and blogs on the vols’ game ‘Tween The Hedges shows that the entirety of The Bulldog Nation disagrees with Mark Richt on Hutson Mason. I guess TheDawgbone.com presume all of these are not questioning Mark Richt’s decision. Excuse me, they all do.
“After the performance of Hutson Mason against Tennessee I think it is fair to say UGA has a QB controversy. Mason looked indecisive in the pocket, his poor arm strength stood out and he made poor decisions on throws…I mentioned after the South Carolina game and the Troy game, Mason’s lack of arm strength is startling. Mason simply cannot make the throws that are necessary for this offense to be as explosive as it can be. With guys like Mitchell and Scott-Wesley back we won’t really be able to use their speed to our advantage bcause Mason won’t be able to get it to them downfield…I would prepare Brice Ramsey as the starter and see how he handles a whole game plan and game preparation. If he goes out against Vanderbilt and plays well then you give him the keys to the car kind of like you did with Matthew Stafford. My opinion is with Hutson Mason is we are playing not to lose. With a guy like Ramsey, sure he will make some mistakes, but he is capable of making up for those mistakes with the spectacular. What do you have to lose against Vanderbilt? The last thing I want to see is a wasted season due to an inept quarterback when you have a talent as special as Todd Gurley in the backfield. ”
It’s clear that our fans and all national media are questioning Mark Richt’s decision to go with Hutson Mason, and even more so, the longer this Hutson Mason Experiment is allowed to go on.
“I agree 1000%…after todays game it’s become crystal clear Mason is not gonna lead us to an SEC championship or a trip to the final four. I say we take a shot with Ramsey. With our running game, it wouldnt be asking too much for the young kid to play the role of “game manager”…he would allow us to stretch the field more and provide more of a compliment to the rushing attack. Sadly, we all know Richt wont pull Mason”
“With Ramsey I would be handing the ball off to Gurley/Chubb and then taking play action shots deep down the field to Justin Scott-Wesley and Malcolm Mitchell. Then I would be throwing a lot of passes outside the hashmarks making the reads much more simple. The first time Ramsey uncorks a throw 60 yards downfield in the air to Mitchell or JSW the defense is going to think twice about 8 or 9 in the box.”
“inferior quarterback play that made Georgia’s offense one-dimensional…squeaker victory over a young, modestly talented Tennessee team Saturday at Sanford Stadium. The Vols could [stack 9 men in the box] because, frankly, they didn’t respect Georgia’s passing game. At all. And didn’t need to, unfortunately. As a result, the Vols held the Bulldogs to a dismal 1 of 10 on third-down conversions. I don’t know whether Mason has some sort of arm fatigue or just wasn’t feeling it Saturday, but his passes had no zip and frequently were off-target. He also continued to show the downside of his first-year-starter status, locking in on well-covered receivers while ignoring others who were wide open, and tucking and running (mostly ineffectually) whenever his pocket threatened to collapse. But perhaps Richt and offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Mike Boboneed to consider getting [Brice Ramsey] some more playing time…lest the Dogs come to rely strictly on their running game. Yes, Ramsey (who got in on only one play Saturday after Mason had lost his helmet) would be prone to freshman mistakes, but, let’s face it, despite being a fifth-year senior, so is Mason. And he’ll be gone after this year. ‘We had two turnovers that could have turned into points’ [ Mark Richt said.] Georgia got a win that was much closer than it should have been.”
” It gets old [our only goal every year now is our DOWN SEC East] for the Georgia program, but that is the reality with the way the schedule sets up…how hideous they look. Georgia won in spite of a punchless passing attack”
“This evidently won’t be the game that Georgia goes downfield. The tailback or fullback has touched the ball on 29 of Georgia’s 34 plays [to start vs the vols]. And at least at the outset it wasn’t a matter of taking what the defense is giving the Bulldogs: Tennessee didn’t respect the pass at all, stacking the box to start the game. And on third-and-eight on Georgia’s first drive the Vols only had one safety back. Mason couldn’t take advantage…And a couple drives later, when Mason had his…interception…it looked bleak for the passing game…this may be the game Mason needs to pass the ball to win”
” the offense didn’t come out after halftime with…success. Seemingly changing the play calling, offensive coordinator Mike Bobo called five passing plays to start the half. Mason pulled the ball down for a run once of those five plays and went 2-for-4 for 13 yards and his second interception of the game on the other four plays and Georgia would go on to punt in its next four drives. Compounding Mason’s struggles was the fact that Gurley was rarely used in the quarter, including a nearly 11 minute stretch in which Gurley did not have a carry. ‘The defense had a lot of series there, especially in the third quarter, when they didn’t have a lot of grass behind them,’ Georgia head coach Mark Richt said. ‘I thought the defense did a phenomenal job after both turnovers, not giving up any points.’ [Josh] Dawson’s fumble recovery for a touchdown ultimately gave Georgia the win.”
WR Michael BennettOn the passing game…
“We’re doing what we need to be doing. We aren’t trying to force anything, but we’re taking what is given to us. We were taking some shots down the field we just need to execute them.”
“Fact is, Gurley had to turn into Superman, or Herschel Walker reincarnated, because of the inability of the Georgia passing game to make things happen. Folks, without Todd Gurley, the Bulldogs don’t even come close to winning this football game.”
” Hutson Mason didn’t sugarcoat his performance against Tennessee. He didn’t point fingers at receivers, linemen or coaches. He didn’t try and convince anyone that the passing game did, in fact, play better than what the statistics say or what the game film most certainly will show. Quite simply, he was honest. “The pass game is very frustrating. That starts with me,” Mason said. “It just flat out starts with me getting better in the passing game.” With constant one-on-one coverage on the outside and a one-high safety — looks the Bulldogs have seen a lot of this season — Tennessee dared Georgia to win with its passing game. And, yet again, the Bulldogs’ offense unsuccessfully quieted the concerns of its non-existent downfield passing attack. “It was frustrating,” head coach Mark Richt said, unable to wholeheartedly diagnose the passing offense as a season-long problem.”
“Mason is not a gifted quarterback, he is just “good” enough to keep the offense somewhat varied. I was sure last year that he was going to be an average SEC type quarterback…Against top flight SEC teams, Georgia will struggle this year. This is not a top 4 team which is required to get into the playoffs.”
Hutson Mason disappointed by his two-interception performance Saturday

“Georgia senior quarterback Hutson Mason wasn’t happy about his performance in Saturday’s win over Tennessee. “It’s frustrating,” Mason said. “It’s just, I don’t know, I don’t have an answer for it.” Mason talked after the game like he was the losing quarterback after he didn’t live up to his own expectations.”
“… Georgia’s passing game against Tennessee was a complete mess. They’ve played in their fourth game of the season, with a fifth-year senior at quarterback and senior wide receivers, and they’re still struggling mightily”
“Amen again Tyler…Mason is not even executing game management now. I saw the lack of arm strength in the spring game and the Nebraska game. I’m not sure he’s regressed at all. The opponents just have it figured out. I perceive a growing lack of patience in the bulldawg nation over many things. We need our staff to go with our best chance to grow and win a championship. With that performance against a young physically talented team we better be more ready to take risks on younger more physically talented players and get them experience in live game situations. (i.e. Ramsey, Park or Fauta).”
Michaux: With Hutson Mason in a funk, Todd Gurley comes to rescue for Georgia
“With a passing game that was – oh, how can this be put diplomatically? – ineffective, Georgia was in grave danger of losing to Tennessee…“We came out and got like three straight three-and-outs and everybody was like, ‘We’ve got to run the ball. We’ve got to run the ball,’” Gurley said of the second-half lull. Mason was (again, being diplomatic) not so good. “Without that run game I don’t know where we’d be right now as far as wins or losses,” admitted Mason. “Those guys have definitely carried our team.” But for how long and how far? Plan A is really, really, really good, but Georgia needs to find a Plan B soon.”
“Georgia’s passing offense (162.3 yards per game) ranks 111th in the nation, ahead of only Vanderbilt in the SEC. But perhaps the worst sign is the Bulldogs are averaging 10.14 yards per completion, which is 113th nationally and worst in the SEC. ‘The passing game hasn’t been going too well’ [Todd Gurley II said.] “The bottom line is when you play quarterback you’ve gotta deal with the good and the bad, and right now I’m sure he’s frustrated with not getting many deep balls thrown, and completed, and all that sort of thing,” Richt said.

“Richt also discussed senior quarterback Hutson Mason possibly experiencing a great deal of frustration following his shaky performance against the Vols, when Mason suffered two interceptions and again failed to complete any downfield throws.”
“1. Sometimes it’s unclear whether the Bulldogs are trying to win because of Todd Gurley or to prove they can win without him. Example: Saturday’s third quarter. It opened with five consecutive Georgia pass plays, one of which became a Hutson Mason scramble. The first series yielded an interception, the second a three-and-out. Gurley, who would finish with 208 yards rushing, didn’t touch the ball. Indeed, he carried only four times for nine yards in a quarter that saw neither side score. 2. The passing game got a failing grade. With the Tennessee defense aligned to stop Gurley (also a fail), the way was clear for Hutson Mason to find open receivers off play-action. Didn’t happen. Mason…threw two bad interceptions. “We’re definitely not clicking in throwing the ball” [Mark Richt said.]
I am not into CENSORSHIP and I will be darned but that it seems what I’ve been saying all along since prior to Hutson Mason being named the QB to be the only QB to play any game, that everyone agrees with me now all of a sudden. Don’t you ?
Mark Richt and Mike Bobo have been doing this for 14 years now. This is nothing new, is it ? They recruit all these Top 10 nationally ranked Quarterbacks, and they want to throw the ball 1st. Knowshon Moreno got 13 carries and 15 carries in the big games, and after only 2 years’ playing here, was drafted # 12 pick overall in NFL Draft. Why were we # 65 in the nation in rushing last season ? A trophy for everyone is the way Mark Richt coaches, which explains why the # 53 nationally ranked Quarterback Hutson Mason was playing at all. They did the same with 5th year senior Joe Cox and 5th year senior Joe Tereshinski III. Mark Richt now tells us Hutson Mason is better QB than # 7 QB nationally Jacob Park and left on the bench once again this game the # 8 QB nationally Brice Ramsey, exactly the same as he told us Joe Tereshinski III was better QB than # 1 QB nationally Matthew Stafford and as he told us Joe Cox was better than Zach Mettenberger.
We knew going in to the game that DC Ward would load the box for Spurrier. We also knew we would try to pass the ball with a guy who as you can see, cannot pass the ball. The only back-up QB Mark Richt has ever prepared was DJ Shockley, whom Mark Richt redshirted the 2001 season, causing his Dad Coach Shockley to insist Mark Richt promise him he would play every game, or he would have his son, DJ, transfer. Other than that, there is no back-up QB ever prepared by Mark Richt. So, why do all these top-rated Quarterbacks continue to sign here ?
72-19 the 1st half Mark Richt era 2001-2007
55-27 the 2nd half Mark Richt era 2008-2014
16-13 the 1st half Mark Richt era 2001-2007 vs teams who made AP or Coaches’ Polls those seasons
7-23 the 2nd half Mark Richt era 2008-2014 vs teams who made AP or Coaches’ Polls those seasons
7-2 the 1st half Mark Richt era 2001-2007 as visitor vs teams who made AP or Coaches’ Polls those seasons
1-10 the 2nd half Mark Richt era 2008-2014 as visitor vs teams who made AP or Coaches’ Polls these seasons by stark contrast.
Mark Richt is a great guy who has assembled a staff of great recruiters and has 75 NFL Draft Picks to prove his recruiting ranking average of # 9 in the nation 2001-2014. His recruiting class next year is perhaps his best class ever ranked # 3 nationally so far.
With all this continuing talent, it does beg the question since coaching is doing more with less, has Mark Richt lost the edge the entire 2nd half of his career ?
I love the guy, and the players do too. The recruits do. The newspapers and magazines do as well. Everyone does. He has had more than his fair share of arrests/suspensions, hasn’t he ? He is tougher than other coaches on punishment, but seemingly not as good as other coaches at telling the recruits to obey the rules on and off the field, is he ? Either way, it is clear that the 2nd half of the Mark Richt era has been marred by mediocrity and losing, hasn’t it ?
2009 Mark Richt could’ve started Zach Mettenberger or at least played him vs Oklahoma State in game 1, but told us Joe Cox with chronic throwing shoulder and the flu requiring a separate charter to get him to Stillwater was the better quarterback. We lost the game and went 8-5.
2006 Mark Richt could’ve started Matthew Stafford vs the vols and Vandie but started Joe Tereshinski III instead. We lost both games and went 9-4.
Mark Richt started freshmen quarterbacks 2010 and 2001. We went 6-7 in 2010 and 8-4 in 2001.
2002 we went 13-1 won The SEC Championship but only other SEC team in Coaches’ Poll was # 14 Auburn 4-loss team besides # 25 Florida who was 8-5 but beat Mark Richt with Ron Zook when Mark Richt went 0-13 on 3rd down conversions.
I hear no one saying that Mark Richt or Mike Bobo are the nation’s top play callers. Our offense is a Fullback-oriented Offense with over 200 top fullbacks available every year, yet we never recruit any of them. Mike Bobo said this year he would not be lining up any 2-back sets and running the ball. It did not surprise me therefore that he started this game with a floating pass poorly defended or would’ve been intercepted if the DB had just even looked at the QB once, as it was underthrown obviously. It did not surprise me therefore that at the 4-yard line 1st and goal with 5:24 remaining in the 4th Quarter, that he did not hand the ball to the leading Heisman contender Mr. Todd Gurley II, but instead had the # 53 QB pass the ball resulting in a 2nd and 14 after the sack. It’s what we do, isn’t it ? Then, 2nd and 14 when we have to pass, we hand it to Mr. Todd Gurley II who went nearly 4 yards, which would’ve put it on the inch line but now it’s 3rd down and more than 10 to go with yet another pass which was tipped at the line and was a dink-down pass anyway nowhere near the marker. The whole entire series of plays were what we’d been doing the whole game, settling for 4 field goal tries in a game their QB was out-dueling our QB once again.
South Carolina has a poor Secondary, not that we don’t too because we do after all the off-field arrests/suspensions kicked-off and transferred players – the entire Secondary.
The Game Plan was to throw vs South Carolina, even though he left # 7 QB Jacob Park and # 8 QB Brice Ramsey on the bench, and played instead the # 53 QB Hutson Mason.
Dylan Thompson out-played Hutson Mason all night long after the game was to start at 3:30 and finally ended after lightning delay at 8:30. Dylan Thompson dominated Hutson Mason the entire game.
2005 DJ Shockley won us The SEC Championship but because he got injured during the season and Mark Richt brought in his favorite Joe Tereshinski III we ended up the # 3 SEC team in every single solitary poll. The SEC was not down in 2005, as it was in 2002.
Now that the BCS era is done, Mark Richt’s only 2 BCS Bowl Game wins were over # 19 Hawai’i 2007 season and # 23 Florida State a 5-loss team 2002 season. That’s it.
8 SEC teams have Won The National Championship in the Mark Richt era, yet his # 9 recruiting ranking average and his 75 NFL Draft Picks 2001-2014, are the best in The SEC # 1 at both. In fact, there is good reason to say Auburn won the NC 2004 as well at 13-0, since the BCS vacated USC. That’s 9 SEC teams who have won or should be declared NC in the Mark Richt era with the best talent here at UGA all these 14 seasons.
Coaching is doing more with less, but around here, we do less with more, don’t we ?
$ 3.5 million dollars annually, Mark Richt has been passed by the best collegiate coaches nowadays, hasn’t he ?
Stale is the word, as Mark Richt has gone stale.
Mark Richt has won some big games. He beat # 4 South Carolina just in 2013, and # 14 LSU; but he lost 5 games. In 2001, he beat # 4 vols on the road at their house, as Visitor; but he’s bragged since that he knocked the lid off the Georgia Bulldogs’ football program with that win when UGA is Top 10 All-Time in Wins yet he was 8-4 that season, too, in 2001.
Going into the 2005 season, Mark Richt was 81 % Win Percentage.
He only 67 % after 2007, the entire 2nd half of the Mark Richt era.
We’re not doing as well now with the same top recruits he has had all along, as he did in the 1st half if his career. We’re not as good on the road vs teams who are ranked teams these years. We’re not as good vs teams who are ranked teams these years. We’re not as good Won/Lost Record these years. We were far better the 1st half of his career on the road vs teams who were ranked teams those seasons way back then. We were far better vs teams ranked for those seasons way back then than we are now. And, our Won/Lost Record is not even in the Top 25 the 2nd half of the Mark Richt era 2008-2014.
55-27 is a mediocre Won/Lost Record for the # 9 best talent nationally for a Top 10 All-Time Wins Program UGA.
We have a huge following. The rumblings have been ever-increasing. Something is amiss after 2007, the entire 2nd half of the Mark Richt era, isn’t it ?
How does a guy who going into the 2005 season was 81 % win percentage drop off to not even Top 25 win percentage after 2007 ?
The SEC has gotten tougher, and is a lot better conference than when Mark Richt 1st got here. All we hear here is that Mark Richt is a great recruiter of talent. We hear no offers for head coach anywhere from anyone. We hear no one say he is the best play-caller. We hear no one say he has great Game Plans, or makes great adjustments. We hear no one say he is the best at time-out management at the end of the games. He is not noted for his hires. He is not noted for his strategies, but for his recruiting, arrests/suspensions and his losing. Isn’t he ?
Especially against the top teams, and most especially on the road, Mark Richt is mediocre and losing now compared to when he 1st got here and The SEC was down, isn’t he ?
We wake up this morning the # 6 SEC team in AP and Coaches’ Polls.
I am not sure how many of those teams he can beat with Hutson Mason as his QB. The play call might have been the right play call with a QB generally considered one of the top quarterbacks nationally, but because Mr. Todd Gurley II # 3 RB nationally wanted to get out of North Carolina where there are no good teams, he has the running backs instead with Nick Chubb # 7 RB and Sony Michel # 3 RB as well, and Isaiah McKenzie; but redshirted Jacob Park # 7 QB this season Jacob tells us all. And # 8 QB nationally Brice Ramsey has been left on the bench too all season long and this a game against a team I told you had a great Offense and no Secondary and required us to play a QB Saturday night who could exploit their Secondary. Mark Richt did this so he could play instead # 53 QB nationally Hutson Mason, just as he did Joe Cox and Joe Tereshinski III. A trophy for everyone.
It’s more of the same.
Isn’t it ?
While Alabama has gone 75-9 here in The SEC after 2007, Mark Richt has gone 55-27. Mark Richt has gone stale, hasn’t he ?
“We’re just tired of just being mediocre and going to the SEC championship game, going to the bowl game and losing.” Mr. Todd Gurley II.
Did you read Todd Gurley II make this statement or NOT ?
Why criticize me when it’s David Pollack or Todd Gurley II I am quoting to you that Mark Richt has to be FIRED for his performance of his so-called duties here ?
Mark Richt starting QB win % :
.40 Joe Tereshinski III win % as Starting QB 2-3
.50 Hutson Mason win % as Starting QB 2-2
.64 Joe Cox win % as Starting QB 9-5
.67 Aaron Murray win % as Starting QB 35-17
.80 Matthew Stafford win % as Starting QB 27-7
.81 David Greene win % as Starting QB 42-10
.83 DJ Shockley win % as Starting QB 10-2
After starting out well, Mark Richt has grown stale hasn’t he ?
You BRAG to ME that Mark Richt is GREAT you SAY on the road :
Here are the facts (so please say something about my MAMA and ignore these facts:)
LOST 35-38 at South Carolina 2014
LOST 38-43 at Auburn 2013
LOST 27-31 at Vanderbilt 2013
LOST 35-38 at Clemson 2013
LOST 7- 35 at South Carolina 2013
LOST 31-49 at Auburn 2010
LOST 12-24 at Mississippi State 2010
LOST 6-17 at South Carolina 2010
*WON 30-24 at Georgie tek 2009* would’ve VACATED win if they beat us too
LOST 10-24 at Okie State 2009
LOST 14-35 at Tennessee vols 2007
Of the most recent current latest games as Visitor at the field of our Opponent who was a ranked team for these seasons now, he’s 1-10 with the 1 a game which would’ve been vacated anyway had they too beat him and that is the only game of the 11 where he ran the ball.
Here is what he used to do 8 to 14 seasons’ ago on the road by STARK CONTRAST (so lump in what he did 8 to 14 seasons’ ago on the road and BRAG he IS GREAT ON THE ROAD AGAINST RANKED TEAMS – no he IS NOT:)
WON 37-15 at Auburn 2006
LOST 6-24 at Auburn 2004
WON 41-14 at Tennessee vols 2003
LOST 10-17 at LSU 2003
WON 30-0 at Clemson 2003
WON 24-21 at Auburn 2002
WON 27-25 at Alabama 2002
WON 31-17 at Georgie tek 2001
WON 26-24 at Tennessee vols 2001
7-2 as Visitor vs teams ranked AP or Coaches’ for the seasons when he 1st got here in 2001, the 1st Half of the Mark Richt era.
Started out 7-2 but is only 1-10 since as Visitor vs teams ranked AP or Coaches’ Polls for the season.
Why brag about what he did a long time ago, when recently he has been mediocre, hasn’t he ?
55-27 is not even a Top 25 Won/Lost Record after 2007, yet we’re Top 10 All-Time in Wins here in our program.
His QB he chose to bail him out this season found Dylan Thompson the far better QB. This is college football. If you have a poor QB, you are going to lose the big games, unless you feed your top running backs. This is therefore exactly what I expected 2014 a 15-game season for the top teams and us hoping to get to 9-4 or 9-5 if we make it to The SEC Championship Game against Alabama, Texas A & M, or LSU. I am not even certain we can beat one of the Mississippi schools with Hutson Mason, and have serious doubts Hutson Mason can beat Florida. He is not going to beat Florida. Hell he might even lose to Georgie tek since Mark Richt refuses to run the ball with Todd Gurley II with Nick Chubb with Sony Michel and instead has no quarterback so he calls only the number of the QB in the big moments of a season now well and truly OVER.
Now where pray tell are the Mark Richt Apologists ?
He’s lost 8 games to teams who were not even ranked, even with their wins over us, in either the AP or Coaches’.
2014-2015 season promises to be more of the same recently around here at 9-4 or 9-5 if we make it to The SEC Championship in a 15-game season for the top teams.
We’re not one of the top teams, and we’re not Elite.
We have Elite Recruits, and top talent but we do not use it very well, anymore, do we ?
A lot of this now has to do with having only 78 of the 119 signed scholarship recruits who with redshirt would’ve been playing this season.
Should I list them ?
Are all of these now gone from the team to blame for us losing once again to South Carolina Saturday night in Prime Time ?
Are we doing well ?
Should we present a front as if we are doing well ?
How does that make us look if we do ?
What message do we send to the players if we present ourselves as doing well ?
That this is what passes for acceptable now, and Mark Richt is the most accomplished college football coach in America when he actually is not even Top 25 at 55-27 Won/Lost Record 2008-2014 the entire 2nd half of his career here ? This is the message you want to send to him ? That we should present ourselves only as doing so well ? I want a cushy job like that. Go on the road and lose to everyone any good at 1-10 vs teams who are Top 25 AP or Coaches’ Polls since 2007. Play everyone any good and lose all but 7 of the most recent 30 games against teams who are ranked for these seasons the entire 2nd half of the Mark Richt era.
It’s grown old this censoring of Bulldogs’ fans so that only how well we’re doing and will be doing is all which can be presented in public, while you mutter under your own breaths that you too hate what has been going on the entire 2nd half of the Mark Richt era.
Mark Richt has grown stale the 2nd half of his career here, hasn’t he ?
Every off-season we get bad press, except for the recruiting. Every football season we get bad press like this article on Sports Illustrated certainly Premier Sports Coverage. Isn’t this what is really happening now in this 2nd half of the Mark Richt era ?
Isn’t it ?
With all this talent.
Mark Richt era 2001-2014 Number Drafted by NFL :
2013…11 ….9 …..8……9….….8…..4………7………0………0
Recruiting Rankings :
The talent has not dropped off, has it ?
I believe I speak for all Georgia Bulldogs’ Football Program fans when I say that we, like Mr. Todd Gurley II, demand more than these results with this talent for $ 3.5 million dollars annually.
Are you really satisfied right now, or want to send the message that we like Mr. Todd Gurley II, demand more ?
Should we censor those who point out that Mark Richt is not doing well ?
Are you fans of our football program, or Mark Richt ?
4 of 14 on 3rd Downs vs Clemson – LOST
4 of 14 on 3rd Downs vs Vandie – LOST
5 of 12 on 3rd Downs vs Mizzou – LOST
6 of 12 on 3rd Downs vs Auburn – LOST
4 of 13 on 3rd Downs vs Nebraska – LOST
5 of 12 on 3rd Downs vs South Carolina settling for 4 field goal tries – LOST
Greg McGarity hiding. Jere Morehead hiding. The Dawgbone telling you only how great we are and going along with these Mark Richt Apologists, who are Mark Richt fans not Georgia Bulldogs’ Football Program fans, as I. These will change. I will not be denied. Indeed, we will not be denied and not because we dropped 8 places in the polls, but because Mr. Todd Gurley II demands more of Mark Richt and so do all of us.
Congratulations to South Carolina on the big win at their house, and best of luck to them on their season for it is obvious that they are going to need it as they SHOULD HAVE LOST to Georgia Bulldogs with all our talent and did NOT. South Carolina is NOT the better team. They don’t have our talent. They won the game because our offensive geniuses are dumb shit Mike Bobo and dumbass Mark Richt. Your coach gets more out of less than our coach does, on and off the field. It’s always painful to lose but I am certain that we can dream up some excuse, despite the fact that whatever South Carolina players were taunting Mr. Todd Gurley II, that he too at least deserved off-setting penalty in one of those failed drives by our offense where we settled for a field goal 4 times and lost.
I am told by a vocal minority of loud-mouth Bulldogs’ fans that I am not a great Bulldogs’ Football fan, but I go to the game with our seasons’ tickets, go to JAX, go to the Bowl Games, and go to the Games at the Georgia Dome, graduated from UGA, and live here, rooting for only UGA to do well.
I think their defense of Mark Richt’s Record makes them a Mark Richt fan, and not a Bulldogs’ football fan for surely he does the least with the most talent of any coach in America the entire 2nd half of his career here.
He makes dumb decisions. He runs a lax ship where the players do whatever they want to do, and then he punishes them harshly, rather than teaching them to obey the rules on and off the field.
He plays Favorites, and will continue to despite the fact that he obviously has been displeased with Hutson Mason all year long. His angst at halftime national TV Prime Time about the QB play from Hutson Mason was palpable.
So why not give the ball then with 5:24 remaining to Mr. Todd Gurley II Mark Richt ?
1st and goal at the 4 with 5:24 left in the 4th quarter, never having a lead, losing 35-38 on the road for the 10th loss of the latest 11 games vs teams who are ranked for these most recent seasons as visitors, and our coaching staff calls the number of Hutson Mason.
“If I had to do it again I would’ve hammered it,” Richt said of his decision to pass on the Dawgs’ first-and-goal chance Sports Illustrated Martin Rickman reports this morning.
Jacob Park is redshirting 2014-2015 he says. Both he and Brice Ramsey are all around equals. Both are 6′ 3″ and Brice Ramsey might be slightly bigger at 205 lbs. Brice Ramsey and Jacob Park are neither one very athletic, but Brice Ramsey moves around back there better and has the better arm. In fact, Brice Ramsey should be our Quarterback right now.
Alabama wanted both, Auburn wanted both, Clemson wanted both but Jeff Scott could not get the player to go to a really lackluster school, FSU wanted both and Florida wanted Brice Ramsey to be their Quarterback and would have played there last season and might have entrenched himself.
Jacob Park is a 3.82 GPA out of Goose Creek South Carolina this year, and Charlie Weis also wanted him badly at Virginia Tech.
Mark Richt has no one lined up at Quarterback for the 2015 recruiting commitments in what is one of his best recruiting classes 2015, although there are 3 junior college players transferring in with the 7 open scholarships, soon to be given to 7 walk-ons who will not play on offense or defense.
Faton Bauta is a strong guy who could play many positions at 6′ 3″ and 220 lbs out of Palm Beach Florida 3 years’ ago 2012. On this team, he is relegated to slim pickings with the depth at running back and at quarterback we have.
Christian LeMay from 4 years’ ago out of Charlotte 2011, I never liked keeping that commitment from that lax home environment in the 1st place, nor understood why when he obviously never fit in, why his troubled brother, also, came here. That family was a disaster for us. Wrong from the start because when Christian LeMay was not allowed to even play his senior season, we still brought him in. I did not care for that.
Brice Ramsey is out of Camden County High and is the better quarterback and the only QB we took 2 recruiting classes ago.
5 years’ ago, we did not pick-up any Quarterback for 2010 except for Hutson Mason after 6 years’ ago signing both Aaron Murray # 3 nationally – and Zach Mettenberger – whom I thought at the time should have played against Okie State to begin the season, not Joe Cox.
Joe Cox the # 22 QB nationally, like Joe Tereshinski III the # 20 QB nationally, both were highly touted by only Mark Richt – just as he is doing now with Hutson Mason.
Brice Ramsey and Jacob Park, of these Quarterbacks were ranked in the top 10 at quarterback.
I want what is best for our team.
Then, there is Hutson Mason who was ranked # 53 QB nationally and has languished so long here now, that he extracted a promise that he would be the quarterback though he himself knows he is no Brice Ramsey.
Only FSU wanted the # 53 QB in the nation with plodding feet and a weak arm. Hutson Mason can never be judged in his lifetime better than Brice Ramsey, but I forget I cannot have that opinion – just as I could not that Zach Mettenberger also a 4-Star was a better Quarterback than Joe Cox and just as I could not that Matthew Stafford # 2 QB nationally was a better Quarterback than Joe Tereshinski III.
