This is a tremendous opportunity for these players. There are key guys who could make quite a name for themselves Saturday night. We haven’t won since 1980, and despite whining about it – we have not been there to win one. Now Saturday we can for the first time in 37 years. You can’t be a Bulldogs’ Football Player and NOT RECOGNIZE this opportunity to have one hell of a game. You can yourself really affect the outcome by yourself. Want some names ? When I guaranteed The SEC Championship 2017 for us, it was because I figured these guys would STAND-UP and BE COUNTED. Now is the time. The rest was all warm-up. Starting with the win over TCU last year this time, I guaranteed This SEC Championship here on THIS BLOG and EVERY DAY since and THESE GUYS HERE LISTED HERE are WHY. Now can we get a BIG GAME FROM THEM ? I say HELL YES. Here are the 48 I was counting on to win This SEC Championship I GURANTEED starting TCU game last year. Is it too late to burn the redshirt of 3 more for the 3 biggest games of the last 37 years coming-up now ?

I remember when we recruited EVERY one of these men.  I remember Auburn wanted EVERY SINGLE SOLITARY one of these men.  I know we have better players than Auburn.  I know we have recruited better than Auburn after Mark Richt was FIRED.

http://www.georgiadogs.com/roster.aspx?path=football

I would rather these guys than Auburn has.

I would rather our coaching staff than their staff.

I would rather have LOST to them behind 10 to 40 just 3 weeks ago.

I guaranteed this on THIS BLOG after TCU game last year this time.

We WIN this game.

HERE is why.

These men.

These 45 men will step-up THIS GAME.

This game which counts.

I actually counted on 48.  Is it too late to say again let’s burn the redshirt of 3 more for the 3 biggest games of the last 37 years coming-up ?

I’mYourHuckleberry 10 Most Important Bulldogs 2016-2017 Season : Kirby is # 1 as he is the difference now after 8 years of what you called unsatisfactory performance by Mark Richt avg # 7 Scout.com recruiting ranking but avg 4 losses a season for the last entire 8 excruciating years here. Other than Jacob Eason we might as well have not recruited anyone for none other made your list while others did who obviously are NOT going to help us beat teams like you say of the vols Florida and Ole Miss. You did not mention Missouri North Carolina Auburn and don’t forget Georgie tek yellowjackets beat Mark Richt both of his last 2 games at Sanford including the year before last here where we play them this year then our SEC Championship Game then our bowl game hopefully BOTH teams ranked at the top of the Final AP Poll on the national stage EVERYONE watching us for a change. Sorry I’mYourHuckleberry but I have problems with your Top 10 Most Important Bulldogs 2016-2017 season therefore. Enjoyed reading it but you listed some who aren’t and left off others who OBVIOUSLY will be in my humble opinion if we are ALLOWED (or earned the Right) to add-on or comment I’mYourHuckleberry. If you list a player who has played here for years and not performed that doesn’t make him the Most Important Bulldog this season.

“The players that are most important to the Bulldogs success in 2016.”

MOST IMPORTANT BULLDOGS 2016-2017 SEASON :

A team is made up of much when we’ve recruited the average # 7 Scout.com Recruiting Rankings for the years these guys have been here who make up our team.

1.Nick Chubb

2.Natrez Patrick

3.Dominick Sanders

4.Terry Godwin – he was our most accomplished QB last year 2015 season. If the ball had been thrown to him properly and not behind him he would have had a more profound effect on a team who FIRED their coach for going 9-3 last season as Mark Richt did.

5.Lorenzo Carter

6.Brandon Kublanow

7.Trenton Thompson

8.Sony Michel was misused last year as our # 2 best at receptions yet used too much not out in space.  His natural position is wide receiver. He is our 16th Bulldog to rush for over 1000 yards in a season.  Sony Michel was critically misused last season not out in space and we acted like we had no one to run the ball other than him up the middle when we DID.

9.Jacob Eason almost did not make your list of the 10 Most Important Bulldogs 2016-2017 season.  OBVIOUSLY he is at the VERY TIPPY TOP OF THE LIST # 1.  Either that or we can SCRATCH this season as yet another write-off before it begins.

10.DaQuan Hawkins 9 days ago you listed at # 10 of Most Important Bulldogs 2016-2017 season.

Some of these guys are a stretch at best.

Some of the guys you left-off altogether are glaringly missing and who clearly are FAR MORE IMPORTANT 2016-2017 season than these 10.

Greg Pyke picked to be NFL Draft Pick # 7 of OG after this season and you do not even list him but do these other 10 instead ahead of him ?

Can’t see it sorry I’mYourHuckleberry.

Mecole Hardman Jr. is OBVIOUSLY 1 of the 10 Most Important Bulldogs 2016-2017 season.  Our special teams have sucked.  We have really nothing but questions about running the football today and he is a great rusher.  From there or out in space he is a great target for Jacob Eason you do list.  But Mecole Hardman Jr. you don’t I’mYourHuckleberry ?

http://www.bulldawgillustrated.com/author/mpasek/

How in the world can you leave off  Tyler Catalina I’mYourHuckleberry ?  And to list these you do consider the 10 Most Important Bulldogs 2016-2017 season and leave off  Tyler Catalina is a travesty and injustice.

Davin Bellamy is left off so you can prop-up these other guys who have no business being listed ahead of him as well ?  Talk about injustice.

Just my opinion now.

If we are BACK to allowing opinions around here with my over 50 years of Seasons’ Tickets studying all this as my hobby quite obviously.  A hobby I’m quite good at I might add.

I am PLEASED that you did leave off Isaiah McKenzie as the Top 10 Most Important Bulldogs going into this 2016-2017 season given his failures on and off the field leading up to this up-coming season.  He has some proving to do including demanding that we buy some of the $ 150 beeping footballs so that he learns how to properly hold on to the football with the fundamental 5-points of contact causing the balls to whistle or beep so they know they are finally holding the ball correctly.  Up until now he would not have had a ball not only not wear out its battery but in fact never beeped yet here for us.  I still don’t like the way he treats ladies off the field either.  This man was coddled.

I am likewise pleased that there not only is no mention of Greyson Lambert but specifically you also LISTED Jacob Eason.

Even if it was at # 9.

Greyson Lambert fumbled the ball 7 times last season for us and others that were not charged to him in his sorry ass season of only 12 times throwing a TD Pass ALL SEASON.  He rushed 29 times for minus  – 39 yards.  He was # 109 Passing Offense refusing to TRY to throw the football down the field thinking he would lose his Starting QB job if he did and keep it if it did NOT.  And he was # 119 on 3rd Down Conversions as a direct result thereof.

So thanks for that too I’mYourHuckleberry.

But even Chipper Towers AJ-C DawgNation who completed his series on this question before you even started yours I’mYourHuckleberry listed Jacob Eason at # 2 Most Important Bulldogs 2016-2017 season.

Why # 9 for you Jacob Eason ?

I’d have Jacob Eason at # 2 after Kirby and if players only as you specify # 1 clearly and undeniably with Mecole Hardman Jr. # 3.

Mecole Hardman Jr. was invited to the Alabama game last year by Mark Richt and said afterwards that Kirby’s guys were ready to play but Mark Richt’s were NOT.  AND Mecole Hardman Jr.’s MOM said then too that Elite Prospects WANT TO WIN !

And you left him off your guess as to the top 10 most important Bulldogs 2016-2017 season.

https://www.dawgnation.com/football/team-news/georgias-most-important-players-of-2016-how-long-until-launch-for-jacob-eason

Again a team is made-up of much when we average # 7 Scout.com recruiting rankings as we do for this 2016-2017 football team.

Indeed several of the coaching additions this season could join Kirby at this point in my list such as Dell McGee whom I love and always have ever since even before he told Mark Richt to go jump in a damn lake.

Not only coaching additions to this 2016-2017 team but FANS are MOST IMPORTANT TOO.  For far too long these last 8 years according to you of unsatisfactory results the Mark Richt Apologists have held back this # 11 All-Time Wins’ Program with 6 NC and # 3 best in bowl games.  Our FANS have held us back.  If we’re going to be successful sometime SOON this has to end.

Now 7 and a half months AFTER I FIRED Mark Richt they STILL are whining about it daily on EVERY BLOG on the Internet notably daily on senator Bluto’s gtp get the picture blog.

As noted herein daily.

It’s sickening.

For this reason I list our FANS as Most Important Bulldogs 2016-2017 season.  They have to be UNIFIED as Kirby has repeated 2000 times already.  And they are NOT.

Read any senator bluto gtp get the picture blog and READ THE COMMENTS.

I do.

“I don’t think Mark Richt is losing his job this year” November 2015 mind you.

“I can’t deny it was a decision by Greg McGarity that could not be justified.”

“Again I’m not saying that you can’t make a case that he didn’t deserve to lose his job.”

“He isn’t going anywhere.”

Jim Chaney I would not list yet as he has to prove himself to me from what I can tell so far.  Will he have the # 89 Passing Offense of Mark Richt Mike Bobo and Hutson Mason of 2 years ago 2014 now this season ?  Will he have the # 109 Passing Offense of Mark Richt and Greyson Lambert last year 2015 now this season ?  Well Kirby is counting upon him to fix this crap isn’t he ?  It won’t happen without Jacob Eason.  Jim Chaney has STOOD IDLY BY as Kirby did not give Jacob Eason 1 single snap with the # 1 unit.  If Jim Chaney thinks I missed that he is gravely mistaken.  It’s his responsibility with Kirby only 1 season on offense here as running backs’ coach ever in his lifetime to point out to Kirby that Jacob Eason has to get used to the # 1 unit and THEY to HIM.  We wasted the Spring.

Wasted it.

Mel Tucker will have to prove himself to ME too not just to Kirby from what I can tell so far as well.  Kirby said we were protected here at Georgia last year on defense.  Well we certainly DID have an easy schedule to FIRE the coach for being 9-3.  There were 29 teams Division 1-A FBS who made it a 10-win season last year and Mark Richt did NOT DESPITE a protected easy schedule since he was only 9-3 and UNRANKED in the Final AP Poll Top 25 therefore.  Thus Mark Richt’s 2015 team NOT ONLY COST HIM HIS JOB but more importantly to ME since I was FIRING him anyway he did not even make the Final AP Poll Top 25 even with a bowl win against an unranked opponent him coaching at Miami of Florida at the time.

Half the latest 8 years Kirby was National Champion calling all the defensive plays as Defensive Coordinator while Mark Richt for his latest 8 years here was NOT ranked half the time in the Final AP Poll Top 25 even.

Good Lord.

Please do not hold-up these guys who have NOT GOTTEN THE JOB DONE around here as they underperformed and act like now they are the top 10 most important Bulldogs.  No they aren’t.  They have to PROVE themselves.  There is QUITE a DIFFERENCE there in our thinking I’mYourHuckleberry.

I would love to see them do well.

They AREN’T my expectations since they HAVEN’T and HAD THE CHANCE to.

Sam Pittman our Offensive Linemen Coach is ALREADY the difference for Kirby SIGNING Jacob Eason.  And he has REALLY LINED them UP since joining the staff and causing Jacob Eason’s Dad’s quote that that is the reason he quit looking at Florida crocodiles when he certainly DID when Mark Richt was fired.

The Dirty Dozen Running Backs 2016-2017 season I highlight have been left-off your list entirely other than Nick Chubb and Sony Michel.  How about at least 4 others I see Kirby using as running backs you leave off for some of the likes of those you do list ?

No one is talking about Charlie Woerner.  That is a BIG HUGE MISTAKE.  I promise he could rush for 1000 yards this season for us.  I have seen him run the football.

Our SoS this season is top 10 in the nation.

We are not getting through it with the running backs left-off EVERY BLOG’S LIST except mine of the Dirty Dozen Running Backs 2016-2017 season who will set RECORDS for us.  Trust me on this.

I do have a small amount of credibility on my PREDICTIONS don’t I I’mYourHuckleberry sir ?

Yes we lost 2 dozen guys in the great exodus here after last season guys who averaged the # 7 Scout.com recruiting ranking and DOMINATED the NFL Combines winning those Awards and monies who were misused here by Mark Richt.  But since Kolton Houston graduated after last year too joining Mark Richt’s Dream Team in the great exodus after last season those guys averaged 4 losses a season too while they were here with 24 losses in 6 years the same record Greg McGarity and Mark Richt shared together and for which he was FIRED summarily.  And of course these last remnants of the Dream Team fared very well in the NFL Draft and free agent signings.  They just did not do shit here.

Tracy Rocker indeed was already here but he stayed unlike Thomas Brown.  He’s great too.

Ben Cleveland how can he be left off while others you list are ?

I just don’t get it.

How can Isaac Nauta be left off while others are listed by you AHEAD of Isaac Nauta ?

Tim Kimbrough # 14 of ILB if he did not flunk-out when grades came out December and was suspended academically for the bowl game I presume.  Recall as well as reported here that Mark Richt demoted Tim Kimbrough for the Georgie tek yellowjackets’ game.  Did he have reports Tim Kimbrough was behind in his grades at that time ?

Quincy Mauger # 18 of SS.

Jeb Blazevich.

I am at a loss.

I think you think Kirby is NOT playing these freshman for example to just name one group you left off entirely except for Jacob Eason I’mYourHuckleberry sir and NFL Draft Picks as another group YOU SAY WILL NOT BE TOP 10 MOST IMPORTANT BULLDOGS 2016-2017 SEASON.

I KNOW he will play these freshmen and NFL Draft Picks and THESE on my list in this blog post will MOST certainly end-up on the Top 10 Most Important Bulldogs this 2016-2017 season up-coming I’mYourHuckleberry sir.

There is NO WAY they can’t.

Frankly if some of MY LIST DON’T we have little hope this season.

I read quite a few of these lists across the Internet and I have the only list that really lists the Most Important Bulldogs 2016-2017 season.

Yes I think outside the box.  I have never been put in a bias box.

I know Riley Ridley is going to have a great career here catching Jacob Eason’s passes as we’ve ALREADY seen.

I know Julian Rochester is going to have a great career here and it ALL STARTS with his season 2016-2017.  To list these others who have NOT PROVEN they are worthy of your list of top 10 when they have proven that to you I’mYourHuckleberry while leaving off guys like these I suggest INSTEAD of THEM is incredibly short-sighted as I see it.  If I am allowed to offer-up an opinion or have any kind of proven track record at doing so.

You know there’s a chance Javon Wims does extremely well this season AND next season I’mYourHuckleberry sir.  Leaving him and these others I highlight off as a mention even while including some you did list Top 10 is going to make MY LIST more relevant than yours.  I am sure of that.

How important is it that Kirby signed Elijah Holyfield now ?  List those you did and not mention this ?  Big gamble on your part to UN-LIST Elijah Holyfield while LISTING clearly questionable choices of Top 10 Most Important Bulldogs 2016-2017 season.  In my opinion I would list him AHEAD of several of yours.

Michail Carter – Tyler Simmons – David Marshall – Tyler Clark – Jaleel Laguins – you listed some long shots I think these on my list are BETTER than.

Just saying.

You can NOT list a player who HAS NOT PERFORMED well so far and LIST HIM as Top 10 Most Important Bulldogs 2016-2017 season I’mYourHuckleberry.

No matter how much YOU WANT HIM TO PERFORM FINALLY given the opportunity ALREADY.

Brian Herrien is going to rush for over 1000 yards in a season I am CONVINCED.  I am so proud of this young man !  And yet you hold up these OTHERS instead of him ?  I would LIST HIM.  I have.  I have said so.

Kirby says he needs Depth across the board and we DON’T HAVE IT he said.  If that is the case the only way he does that is PLAY THE FRESHMAN not just Jacob Eason who isn’t going to be the # 9 Most Important Bulldog 2016-2017 season either.

I’m sorry but I have a LOT better list than yours.  Mark it.  Check it out.

We’re VERY good running the ball 2016.  I am certain

“Thin in depth at the receiver position” ? WTF ? “If Kirby Smart can’t get his wide receivers fired up and ready to make something happen and often has such inconsistent play at the receiver position” ? WTF ? Field Street Forum “writes” review this morning of our wide receivers and the Lady Sportswriter does too, and yet BOTH failed to mention AT ALL Charlie Woerner, Tyler Simmons, Mecole Hardman, Sony Michel, Tae Crowder, Reggie Davis, Dominick Sanders, Isaac Nauta, Glenn Welch, Brendan Douglas, Christian Payne, Nick Chubb, Jordan Davis, Jackson Harris or Javon Wims and the record-setting performances they OBVIOUSLY will have catching the passes from # 1 NFL Draft Pick in 3 years’ time Jake Eason including also others who as well are quite adroit at catching passes such as Michael Chigbu, Jeb Blazevich, Isaiah McKenzie, Jayson Stanley, Riley Ridley, Shakenneth Williams, and Terry Godwin. We are DEEP at our positions to catch passes 2016 and contrary to your bullshit will SET RECORDS 2016 doing so.

We are DEEPEST with the MOST TALENT we’ve EVER had catching the ball this up-coming 2016 season with or without the WR from Savannah and will set RECORDS doing so this up-coming season. Mark my words. I guarantee this in contradiction to your lies this morning “Admin.” of Field Street Forum and The Lady Sportswriter. “thin in depth at the receiver position” ? WTF ? “if Kirby Smart can’t get his wide receivers fired up and ready to make something happen and often has such inconsistent play at the receiver position” ? WTF ?

Usually Field Street Forum plagiarizes everything he “writes” under this handle of his “Admin.” When he does NOT plagiarize his material without providing his URL Link to his source, he is WAY WRONG in what he does “write.”  And, The Lady Sportswriter too is mighty short on the Truth on her blog and long on bullshit as well where she offers opinions unsubstantiated as well without URL Links agreeing with her either.  2 peas in a pod this morning for sure.

With all the talent we have at Wide Receiver as this blog has reported daily since Signing Day, I have maintained that while we would like to have the Savannah Wide Receiver, we hardly are lacking at that position with the long list of ultra-talented pass catchers Kirby has to work with for our # 1 NFL Draft Pick QB 3 years from now Jake Eason catching his passes and setting records doing so this 2016 season.

Today in Field Street Forum and today The Lady Sportswriter make these statements too that he and she think we do NOT have wide receiver talent EITHER and are lacking to catch passes this 2016 season.

Hogwash.

You both are full of shit and know nothing about that which you “write” on the Internet. You are both WAY WRONG and moronic to make such a statement.

Our wide receiver corps will set records here at Georgia – including THIS SEASON 2016 !

As a matter of fact our running backs have all proven a great penchant for catching passes as well, but with the Depth at Tight End –  some or actually MANY of them will be spread-out WIDE this 2016 season and therefore WE ARE LOADED FOR BEAR to catch passes 2016. They have to be.  They will be.  They are along with WR and Flankers.

Kirby’s University of Georgia Bulldogs 2016 have so much talent to catch the ball 2016 that it amazes any numbnuts would be stupid enough to state that we are LACKING AT WIDE RECEIVER 2016. Nothing could be further from the Truth.

This blog has reported the Truth every day for years.

Neither of these sites The Lady Sportswriter nor Field Street Forum “Admin.” have demonstrated once any knowledge of this sport football, our weaknesses, our strengths or THEIR SOURCES for their bullshit opinions through the years and these latest stabs at same on their blogs is further proof of nothing else yet again.

Michael Chigbu, Jeb Blazevich, Isaiah McKenzie, Brendan Douglas, Terry Godwin, Jayson Stanley, Riley Ridley, Shakenneth Williams, Glenn Welch, Christian Payne, Nick Chubb, Jordan Davis, Jackson Harris, Charlie Woerner, Tyler Simmons, Mecole Hardman, Sony Michel, Tae Crowder, Reggie Davis, Dominick Sanders, Isaac Nauta, and Javon Wims will set receiving records this 2016 season catching passes from Jake Eason. We are NOT lacking at catching his passes AT ALL whatsoever this 2016 season. That is short-sighted of you both The Lady Sportswriter AND “Admin.” Field Street Forum – neither of whom obviously, therefore, know shit about that which either of you do “write.”

We do NOT even need the Wide Receiver from Savannah although I would like to sign him, as we are not lacking at the position and will in stark direct contrast to your musings to the contrary in fact set records catching passes from Jake Eason this 2016 season ladies and gentlemen.

We shall see who is correct about catching Jake Eason’s passes this 2016 season, you 2 fools or me.

Jesus Christ you 2 ill-informed poorly researched liars are clueless to discuss our record-shattering performances 2016 in catching Jake Eason’s passes.

12-31-2015  Happy New Year’s Eve !

Such a fine looking gentleman, and one I have bragged on since he chose us over Georgie tek yellowjackets and everyone else. His mom speaks of PCL and 2 other ligaments that need surgery in 2 weeks when swelling goes down

I am so proud of Nick Chubb, and always have been.

I knew he was special long before he got here.

And, long before Mark Richt finally had to play him.

We dropped out of all the polls as I explained last night.

UNRANKED

2015 unranked any poll

2013 unranked any poll

2010 unranked any poll

2009 unranked any poll

Half the latest 8-year period unranked for Mark Richt all polls.

Georgia with population over 10 million obliterates South Carolina population less than 5 million on stellar performance by Greyson Lambert setting ALL-TIME NCAA RECORD QUARTERBACKS 24/25 FOR 96% COMPLETIONS to send Steve Spurrier off in the sunset with A LOSING RECORD AT SOUTH CAROLINA TO GEORGIA 5-6. The 52-20 is a Slamming of USCe with 7 TD and a field goal – decking South Carolina and Steve Spurrier. Bring on Alabama, and adios Steve Spurrier – take THAT 52-20 ! Hang half a hundred on your ass. Yeah, baby !

9-20-2015

Steve Spurrier has inferior talent to us, and never did it show more thanks to the great performance at QB by Junior Transfer Greyson Lambert on a clear calm 85 degree night everywhere around here, except at Sanford Stadium as we relished the win over him.   There was no calm inside Sanford Stadium, not on this night.  Brawls broke out again and again, the officials having to stop the game to try to settle it down.  I mean South Carolina has NEVER done ANYTHING in football ever, but beating the shit out of Steve Spurrier scoring more than 7 Touchdowns on him, makes it all the more abundantly clear just how much more talented UGA is than South Carolina this season.

This was not the night we lose to an inferior team.  We were up for this game, and the crowd let the players know from the get-go and relentlessly tirelessly the talent Mark Richt brought here, body slammed South Carolina from pillar to post.

Greyson Lambert came out on the opening series and accurately hit his receivers in stride, and boy did they hold on to the ball for Greyson Lambert.  That opened up the rushing attack for Georgia, as Sony Michel and Nick Chubb who came in here together last year, chewed them up and sent them flying.  On one of Sony Michel’s 3 touchdowns, as he got to the end zone there were 3 USCe defenders and Sony Michel just bopped him violently and fiercely decked two of the South Carolina defenders as he crossed the goal line.

Then, Thomas Brown called on Keith Marshall and he replaced Nick Chubb at the goal line and scored our 7th TD.

Reminiscent of the Matt Robinson # 17 performance against Alabama # 10 at UGA # 6 in 1976 here between the hedges 21-0, Greyson Lambert lead the favored charges on a romp through South Carolina.  Ok, so South Carolina is a team reeling all season, including their loss to Kentucky at Columbia just last week, after a horrible performance against another nobody team North Carolina in the Opener, but no one cares on this night as the Good Guys kicked the shit out of Steve Spurrier.

All-time head to head, Steve Spurrier does NOT have a winning record over Mark Richt at 6-6 (including Florida 2001.)  At South Carolina, Mark Richt is 6-5 vs Steve Spurrier. Many hope this is the last meeting between Steve Spurrier and Georgia.

AND WHAT A WAY TO GO.

3 and a half hours of overwhelming joy, the euphoria seemingly never ended.  The Police were everywhere trying to find overzealous fans, but none of us had left early.  We savored every moment, as the more than 10 million in this state grasped the moment by the brass ring and really lapped it up.

Southern next week, and then Alabama who found Ole Miss too much for them this same night I am told.

I have Matt Robinson’s # 17 Jersey in the locker room after that win over Alabama 39 years’ ago now, as Matt tried to hang it on the hook in his cage but missed and it hit the floor in front of me and all the press but now at his feet.

I would relish doing this to Alabama again, and of course that will be all the talk between now and this rematch of top 10 teams 39 years’ later now here at Sanford.

We have a really talented team.

We did not know we had a Quarterback.

I for one never thought Greyson Lambert could have such a performance.

Matt Robinson in 1976 ?

Hell yeah, I thought he could as I never did care for the Vince Dooley choice of Ray Goff instead of Matt Robinson.  Ray Goff from Moultrie never did play in the NFL, but Matt Robinson did and was great.

Matt Robinson, now 60 years old, is from Farmington Michigan and went to North Springs here in Atlanta.  He has tried to buy the jersey from me through the years through a mutual longtime friend, a Stewardess for Delta.

Matt Robinson was a Starting Quarterback in the NFL for years.

But, I shall always remember his performance against Alabama in just this same exact set-up as it plays out this season now 39 years later.

I got a scar on my arm getting over the hedges – they are really sharp, or were back then and I have not ventured through them since, as a result.

But, I have the Jersey proudly to wear for 39 seasons now.

Vince Dooley always played Ray Goff, you see ?  Then, on 3rd down, he would bring in Matt Robinson to bail his ass out.

Even with Alabama’s loss to Ole Miss, they figure to be about # 10 same as they were in 1976 and we figure to be about the same # 6 we were in 1976 as well, since we should move up one spot with their loss from # 7 today.

Greyson Lambert sets himself up for such a miracle win in a miracle season for now Mark Richt 2015-2016 season.  This team is that talented.

We emptied the bench tonight.

Or, the score would have been even bigger.

10-1 Matt Robinson finished in 1976, losing to Pittsburgh in the Sugar Bowl I went to.  I hated that as Pittsburgh won the national championship by beating us 1976.    We lost to Ole Miss that season, in Oxford.  Now, 39 years later Ole Miss beats Alabama just prior to Alabama coming back here.

On this day, no one was looking ahead to anything.

We all wanted Steve Spurrier to fling his visor.

52-20.

Yeah.

But, I am certainly looking forward to Alabama now.

And, thinking on Matt Robinson # 17 and his performance against Alabama 1976 to beat Alabama 21 to nothing.

On this night, we had 17 passing 1st Downs, on the arm of Greyson Lambert who was in a zone.

We had another 15 First Downs over and above just the 17 passing 1st Downs of Greyson Lambert.

Matt Robinson I am sure is proud of Greyson Lambert on this night.

3 Touchdown passes, all from Greyson Lambert.

4 Rushing Touchdowns in addition.

Can you believe that ?

250 yards rushing.

I know I know, it’s a lousy South Carolina team.

So what ?

Greyson Lambert passed for 330 yards tonight !

Lorenzo Nunez from Harrison in Kennesaw for South Carolina’s Steve Spurrier, was no match for Greyson Lambert on this night.

Nick Chubb went for a buck 59 and 2 more touchdowns on just 21 carries but did not have a ball thrown to him in addition.

Malcolm Mitchell had 8 catches for a buck 22 and a TD !  Eight (8.)

Jackson Harris had several catches, again.

Sony Michel, who might be more a wide receiver, had 3 catches for 2 TD as South Carolina has no match for him, either.

Jay Rome had a catch.

And, Terry Godwin caught the NCAA record catch completion among his several catches.

Michael Chigbu was targeted and brought his pass in too.

Quayvon Hicks had several receptions.

Jeb Blazevich had an outstanding performance too also with several more catches.

Brice Ramsey punted the ball 42 yards when Keith Marshall tried to run the clock out and did get one 1st Down.

Dominick Sanders had yet again another long interception return.  He turns on the after burners and gets going North South as well as any who have played defensive back.

Even Brendan Douglas got in the game.  Got to love that.

Reggie Davis had an outstanding game, notwithstanding his one penalty.

Malkom Parrish again was just outstanding at Cornerback tonight.

Jake Ganus and Tim Kimbrough were everywhere.

Sterling Bailey and Leonard Floyd got them behind the line of scrimmage.

So too did, Natrez Patrick and John Atkins.

Reggie Wilkerson again made a name for himself, this time also getting South Carolina behind the line of scrimmage.

And, Trenton Thompson had several tackles of Georgia boys on South Carolina’s team.

And, Leonard Floyd got one of his rare sacks.

On one run, Leonard Floyd picked up his man and flung him down backwards in a heap behind him like a rag doll.

It got really chippy once we pasted half a hundred on them.

South Carolina was touchy and defensive, seeing how inferior their talent to the top players in this state on our own team from here, too.

Their sense of their inferiority was palpable.

Terry Godwin got a start.  He’ll never look back.

In  all, Mark Richt played 71 players of his 85 scholarship players against SEC foe and longtime evil genius Steve Spurrier.

All he could muster on this night was the same poor defense, and rotating quarterbacks, who needed help from us to score.

While we piled up 576 yards of total offense on Steve Spurrier.

God, you’ve got to Love It !

There is a God, after all !

Ok, so this game is in the books, the 1st of 4 cupcakes to begin this season with Southern in next, whatever that is : Louisiana Tech beat Southern 62-15 last week.

I am told it is a University.

Well, they’ve got that over Georgie tek.

Southern will be at noon.

Then, we’ve got Nick Satan.  We have a few demons to exorcise.

1 down, bigger demons to come for sure.

But, on this beautiful night, it was 85 here, and hotter under the collar on one headed into the sunset Steve Spurrier !

Adios sucker : 52-20

Take that !

Bring on Alabama !

Field Street Forum admin has an interesting strategy. In today’s “forum” he says Keith Marshall RETURNS ! Exclamation point. That is not what Buck Belue says, sir. Or, anyone else. UGA “4-headed monster” at TB

Comments : OFF

http://www.fieldstforum.com/

Excuse me sir, but if you have something say, then we are allowed sir to reply to your musings.  Get that ?

I am not against your site, or your opinions, or any of your articles.  I have read them all since you started.

We deserve to reply, and you need our input on what you are saying.

Either that, or you MISS everything we point out.

What ?

We are supposed to go to a one-sided site and study your every word ?

We are not to ask questions, sir ?

We are not to point out anything ?

I do not believe that the proper headline is that GURshall has returned.

I, for one, expected him not to have to endure all these four (4) injuries.  We all love the man and hope for his return.

Clearly, he is NOT back, sir.

He is this year like he was last year.  Isn’t he ?

He gets a medical redshirt year, and he will need it to go to the NFL.  I expected with his Dad and Mom, that he would be a shoe-in for the NFL.  Then, we began hearing about Todd Gurley II.  More and more, we heard about TGII.  Then, it was known TGII would surpass Keith Marshall, injuries or not.  Then, they hit the campus together.

Todd Gurley II is gone now.

Keith Marshall has a lot of years left for us yet.

Can we please cease sir with the pressure added to him to do more than play games for us ?

We have misused him since his arrival.  We force him to play the same plays TGII was going to run, if he were to have played that play too.  They are entirely different running backs.  There is really no similarity at all between them.

One more point sir.  We have an entire stable of running backs, and you left out significant proven great things expected of them here, running backs.  And, you did so in elevating others and completely left off our entire stable.  It’s just not right, sir.

Like your site with COMMENTS : OFF.  It is just not right, sir.

I have no idea what goes through your mind writing such a headline story as you do today sir.

It’s as one-sided as your site, sir.

If you have some aversion to hearing what others may say, close your site down sir.

If you do not like one of our running backs, then say it !

I truly do not appreciate for the players sir, that you left-off what you left-off, and that you emphasize your personal favorites to boot.  I believe that there are fans of every player on our team’s roster.

You list all these running backs for us, and leave off such significant others, sir.

Ones who have produced MORE than Keith Marshall.

And, Keith Marshall does not need to have you hurry him along and come back NOT READY AS HE CLEARLY IS BY ALL ACCOUNTS except for your headline today sir that he is back exclamation point.

You owe the other running backs, and Keith Marshall, an apology, sir.

Get your media guide out, sir.  Maybe that will assist you in naming a list of all our running backs ?

Or, come clean on what it is you ARE saying when you name all our running backs, and leave off others ?

Life, sir, is give and take.

I have no problems with you having an opinion.  Just be man enough to stand up and say it.

And, be man enough to encourage everyone to share their thoughts on your “forum.”

I have been on the Internet since I was a student at The University of Georgia.  The word forum connotates discussion, sir.  The idea sir, is that you speak, we read, and we reply to your reverie, sir.

Your ruminations in this case, sir, come across as well – just wrong.

We have a lot of areas for improvement to shed all these on-going inexplicable losses every year.  The salient significant one being that our fan base cease to believe that only their opinion matters, and they think they must say only the good, and disregard all these bad losses every year.

I believe we as a fan base, put too much emphasis on a player to his detriment and to our team’s detriment, and to the detriment of the other players at his position.

This brings us down as a program.

We have to fix this.

Your forced “4-headed monster” is a farce.  We have Nick Chubb, whom our coaches saw fit to really not even play until the others were doing nothing.  Then, we played him every play nearly every game.  Had we played him on all those numerous occasions when Todd Gurley II took the play off, Nick Chubb would have won the Heisman Trophy already, and you know it.  He is the only running back we rely upon.  There has been, and is no “4-headed monster,” sir.

“4-head monster,” my ass.

Forum my ass.

http://www.fieldstforum.com/2015/04/08/keith-marshall-returns !

A forum, sir, is an open place where opinions are shared, sir.  Everyone in one open public place, sir.

An Internet forum,  is an online discussion site where we all can hold conversations in the form of posted messages.  Sometimes in a thread on an Internet forum sir, you agree or disagree with that which is said.

And, sometimes you have something to add to that which someone has said.

Each new discussion started is called a thread, and can be replied to by as many people as so wish to, sir.

Your site is not a forum, sir.

Keith Marshall has not returned exclamation point, sir.

We have no “4-headed monster” as you define it, sir.

You sir, are just plain wrong.

Aren’t you, sir ?

About everything in this pontification on Keith Marshall, whom it is you refer to as our “4-headed monster” and everyone you left off.

Aren’t you, sir ?

You have to fix this.

Ok ?

I have posted on the Internet daily since 1977.  I have run a BBS since 1977 with multiple access on a PC I built myself, sir.  There are always replies to these forums, sir.

I believe that Faton Bauta is a great running back for us, who also happens to have a good arm.  He has proven both sir.  He knows the plays, and is recognized as an Academic Genius.  He is a punishing runner who holds on to the ball, and has been misused by this staff.

Roster Management.

Brendan Douglas needs to hold on to the football.  Now that he has a running back coaching him, instead of wide receiver, I expect him to be taught this lesson.  It is a learned skill.  3 points on the football.  He played in 150% more games just last season 2014, than Sony Michel did, sir.  Brendan Douglas, sir, also the year before in 2013 had the most games played for us and was our most accomplished running back 2013 besides Todd Gurley II and J.J. Green whom we transferred to Georgie tek because of our poor roster management.  You left him off somehow, and the slight does not go unnoticed by yours truly, sir.

What are you saying about Brendan Douglas ?

He was 2nd on the Depth Chart 2014 season, sir.

“4-headed monster,” sir ?

Isaiah McKenzie is an accomplished running back for us, sir; and, while he too needs to be taught by our now running backs’ coach who in fact was a running back and knows how to hold on to the football as a running back, you cannot name today as you have sir Wednesday 8 April 2015, any “4-headed monster” at running back and leave him out either, sir.

Quayvon Hicks is another misused running back for us you left off as well.  We misuse him as we misuse Keith Marshall, forcing Keith Marshall to run inside the tackles when his expertise is out in space.  We do not play Quayvon Hicks at all.  We prefer a trophy for everyone in our roster mismanagement so we stole his job for us and gave it to a guy Merritt Hall, who is not in the program and did not play a single game 2014 after being named as a walk-on stealing Quayvon Hicks’ job.

We bungle talent everywhere every year now.

No more so than at running back.

While we brag on the coach making these decisions, and his decisions, and his greatness, while in fact his roster mismanagement is nowhere more evident than at this running back position, sir.

Sony Michel is certainly an accomplished running back, too.  He only played in eight (8) games and wasted his redshirt year for that.  His carries were all in mop-up duty.  8 of should have been 15-game season for the top teams, which this time last year, you declared sir we were one of.  Wasted talent.

A.J. Turman is a heralded running back whose talent also has been totally wasted.  He is the 6th best football player in the state of Florida, no less.  Not at running back, but A.J. Turman is the 6th best overall player in the state of Florida.  4-Star Running Backs of this stature come along very rarely.  He is the complete running back with bruising blocking, soft hands, and punishing style.  We witnessed for example last G-Day Game both score touchdowns both running and catching.  A. J. Turman was recruited by us in 2012 and signed with us in 2013 to great fanfare, and has yet to carry the ball once.  Bullshit, is all I can say about this roster mismanagement as well. All at just the running back position you highlight today for us all, sir.

We have so much talent at running back, wasted talent – every single man, that not one (0) nada running backs would sign with us this 2015 year until the night before Signing Date when really a wide receiver, Tae Crowder, was first recruited by us.  Our coach will jerk him around, like he did J.J. Green – moving him around too from position to position until finally his opportunity here, as with these others, has come and gone as well.

B.J. Emmons the 7th best running back in the nation, looking at all these who really none of them have even been given a fair shot at running back here, has said he fills the bill for next season for us.

And, I am quite certain his career here will also be marred by our coach’s roster mismanagement here too of him.  I welcome your reply here on this real forum where everyone who has ever said anything here is instantly heard by all worldwide Georgia Bulldogs’ Football Fans.

We do not value running backs.  We have a wealth of talent at running back, and not one of them was picked-out even to be The Man at Running Back.  Had we given Nick Chubb even a fair shot at it to begin last year while Todd Gurley II stood the sidelines, Nick Chubb would’ve already won the Heisman Trophy.

As for your bullshit “4-headed monster” at tailback for us, you sir are a DISNEYdawgs.com poster of a DISNEYdawgs.com site where ONLY your opinion is ever heard.

At least Buck Belue tells it like it is.

You sir can kiss my ass about your so-called “4-headed monster” at TB for us, your so-called “forum,” and about all those you left off your “4-headed monster” at TB for us, and especially proclaiming that Keith Marshall is you say only sir back.

You are full of shit.
